Humanity made a great leap forward when a horse welcomed the two-legged rider onto its back. Horse discovery is life changing as fire. Today we even measure the capacity of engines with the term horsepower. A reminder of the days when horse was an honored and highly prized partner with humanity. Before horses, the humans were slow, earthbound and heavy laden. Horse medicine allowed humans to ride free as the wind and carry heavy burdens with ease. Overall, the horse is a majestic animal that embodies the spiritual power of independence, freedom, nobleness, endurance, confidence, triumph, heroism, and competition. Domesticated horses have been instruments of expansion, and conquering, symbolizing wealth, power, stability. In almost every culture's mythology, the horse is a prominent symbol. To the Romans, the horse was related to Mars, the god of war. The sun god's chariot was drawn by a train of horses. The Celts saw horses as symbols of good luck and bringers of good fortune. Their beliefs especially prized the white horse, and the gods were said to take that form of a white horse.

So many cultures believed staying in the group as a symbolizing of a storm coming, physical or emotional. Several Bible verses refer to the horse as a sign of intelligence. Horses have been revered and referred to as a representative of earth, sun, moon, water, air and wind, depending on the culture. The Book of Revelations in the New Testament lists the four horsemen of the apocalypse who act as conquest, war, famine, and death. The first horseman is a conqueror with a bow and crown riding a white horse, symbolizing Christ and power of conquest. The second horseman has a great sword, and rides a red horse symbolizing war and bloodshed. The third carries a balanced scale, symbolizing famine, and rides a black horse, and the fourth and final horseman rides a pale horse and is identified as death. In India, horse worship dates back to around 2000 BC, where the horse was worshiped for its speed, strength and intelligence. In some forms of Hinduism, the horse is still worshiped today. Horses have been historically part of almost every spiritual narrative, whether it be Christian, Buddhist, pagan, or Muslim. They are in sacred text, and traditions. In most communities, the horse represents strength, freedom and intelligence. They are known for their stabby Larry heavy loads. In many spiritual texts, the horse represents wisdom, which comes with age. Historically, communities with the most horses won the battle, which is one of the reasons horses came to symbolize victory and freedom in so many societies. Because a horse gets us to where we want to go. It is often associated with driving, striving for your destination forward, movement and progress, it can also indicate that a breakthrough is coming in your life. In Eastern culture, the horse is viewed as a divine being, and embodiment or re-incarnation of the gods' godly power and courage. According to the Chinese zodiac, the horse is an eliminator of evil, and represents faithfulness and nobility. In Chinese mythology, it is common to see horses having the power to fly, and supernatural symbolism. In the Bible, it is said that Jesus will come back to Earth on a white horse, signifying holiness and purity of heart and mind. Because of their strength and vitality, horses are a symbol of sexual prowess. In many cultures as well. And in Celtic mythology, the horse Goddess is a dominant figure, symbolic of the life cycles, birth, death after life and rebirth. Horses can be excellent jumpers, and can navigate obstacles. So, horse medicine can inspire you to face challenges and overcome difficult times whether we look at western or eastern cultures.
