Energetic cords: Energy cords are similar to an umbilical cord that connects mother and baby, but they are usually invisible to the human eye. The more experience I gain within healing sessions, the more variety of energy cords I've been able to encounter, which I'd love to share with you in today's episode...so that you can uncover what energetic cords you might have. Some of you might even want to go a step further and learn to clear and clean them. As with all of my episodes, I'm sharing what I believe to be true from my own experiences. So, thanks for allowing me to speak my truth and to call it in, call it in like I see it!

Relationship cords or energetic cords are often light blue, translucent, flexible, hollow hoses, through which our energy flows and this is energy from all the senses.  The people and animals who we are connected with flow energy into the tube as we flow energy out from it. Keep in mind that physical distance doesn't matter and neither does the fact that the other person has passed on and is no longer in a physical body. Energetic exchange through these cords can still take place for years, even for centuries. Food for Thought isn't it?  If you have started to view your energetic body in the shape of a spider or an octopus with multiple tentacles when I started talking about cords, you certainly aren't the only one. The longer we live the more numerous the cords. 

There are basically five major types of cords: soul cords, past life cords, genetic cords, caregiver cords, and relationship cords that grow out of connecting with other humans, pets and special experiences. It is this last type of cord that we'll be concentrating on today. Healthy, energetic relationship chords start with a firm foundation, or a grounded cord from your root chakra, located where your legs come together at the base of your sacral and connects deep into the earth’s volcanic core. Its purpose is to keep you grounded and centered on the earth plane. Another foundational cord for healthy relationships reaches from the top of your crown (the seventh chakra) up into the higher spiritual world or heavens. Firmly connecting you with your life's pattern, purpose or plan. 

A great daily practice for overall well-being is to envision these cords as clean and clear tubes of communication ready to receive what is needed for your greatest good. You can even fill this cord with bright sunlight streaming down into your crown, down into your body, running parallel to your spine and down into the earth. You can feel it tingle and light up all of your cells as it travels so that you are in a huge light tube that is the foundation of healthy, energetic cords. All of your personal relationship cords are connected to the remaining five chakras. To learn more about the chakras, refer to my chakras series episodes in this “Call IT in podcast”. 

When a relationship is healthy, the cord, as I mentioned previously is a pale blue. It's garden hose flexibility, quality is apparent, and it flows with instinctual or subconscious communication that just works well on its own. If someone is trying to manipulate or use you, for their own egotistic benefits, the cord becomes heavy, dragging, tangled, or sometimes deeply embedded. Perhaps you've heard of the term cord cutting, but what you might not know is that relationship cords last forever. Because once you were in a relationship, you are always part of that relationship and if cords are cut, they can grow back even more deformed and debilitating. Your original relationship cords start before birth and continue after death. So, the result of cutting cords is usually negative and often one finds that they need to be restored and cleansed and brought back to health. I teach my students these techniques and we do not do cord cutting. 

So, a healthy energetic cord consciousness is between two people from chakra to matching chakra. If the person is female, the cord connects on the left side, or the female or mother's side of your body. If the person is male, the cord connects on the right side or the male or father's side of your body. This image of you as a spider or an octopus is probably becoming even clearer now. Right? All animal species as well as humans have relationship cords. In the early stages of growth, they connect parents to offspring to teach necessary survival skills. But as I mentioned earlier, the cord connections last forever, even beyond the grave. So, for example if a person had an overbearing, controlling mother, driven by emotions of fear and anxiety, that cord could still be sending strong energy into the left side of that subject’s Sacral Chakra. It has been my experience that cleaning and untangling that type of a relationship cord can make people very joyful and exuberant and have a tremendous effect. As you become more aware of these cords, you can intuitively decipher which cords are healthy, pale blue and flexible and as you learn about how each chakra has specific characteristics, you might also gain insight as to where the relationship cord connects. 

Unhealthy cords are harder to recognize because they can be connected to the wrong chakra rather than matching chakras. They can be wrapped around another person or even an object before reaching you. They can be deeply embedded and then tangled into one of your organs. They can be shredded or just floating in outer space. They can be torn out, they could be weak, they could be stiff, they can be polluted, full of toxins. Or in the case of the mother, I mentioned earlier, they can be demanding, controlling, sucking or deeply rooted. Repairing unhealthy cords is an energetic process that can be conducted in person or remotely by a skilled energy healer. Going back to the general concept of energetic cording, let's not forget that having relationships is what life is all about. Remembering how plants, animals, locations, adventures, experiences, and especially other humans contribute to the person that we are today. Taking the cording visual one step further...imagine how the energetic cord connects to the chakra. And then at that point, a healthy cord loses its “cord like form” and becomes more of a funnel or a spiral. And the information contained funnels down into your body like a liquid being poured. Once your body accepts the information, you can feel, see, hear, smell and taste it as if it's your own. It's that internal wisdom. Miraculous isn't it? This process has unconsciously taken place with all living creatures, including us, most likely more beings than we can ever imagine. So, what can we do? We can take daily personal control over our foundational cording, our cording with the divine at our crown and our grounding cord at the root. This will make a good structure for healthy relationships. 

So, let's call in healthy energetic relationships! Call in healthy energetic relationship cords... starting with this firm foundation of sunlight running from crown to root, from earth to sky and back again. Call it in, “Call IT in With Dar!”
