Episode 175 - Pregnant at 15: Stacy's Story, Part 1

In this episode of Outside of Sunday, I sit down with Stacy to hear her story.

In Part 1, Stacy shares what it was like growing up with drug-dealing parents - but still in a loving home. Despite that, her teenage years quickly spiralled into rebellion. At just fifteen, she found herself pregnant and facing a decision she never imagined she would have to make. Stacy talks about telling her parents, seeing her baby on the ultrasound, and the circumstances that led her to believe abortion was her only option.

Fast forward to recent years, when Stacy - now grown, married, and a Mum of four - was unexpectedly present at a family member’s abortion, revisiting the trauma she experienced at 15 and witnessing the heartbreaking reality of abortion again.

It’s an honest and deeply personal conversation about the weight of decisions and the lasting impact they can have on a life. In Part 2 next week, Stacy shares what happened years later when she unexpectedly found herself pregnant again — and how that second moment unfolded very differently.
