What's going down, people? Thank you for joining us on this episode of Because I Promise, the show where we talk all things marriage, family, and everything in between from a Christian perspective.
SPEAKER_03We are the Wilsons, and we feel that traditional marriage in our society today has been dealt a black eye and is no longer a sexy concept. And we want to do everything we can, honestly, to help heal, enhance, and restore as many marriages and families as possible.
SPEAKER_02So let's get it, baby girl.
SPEAKER_03Why do I have such a hard time saying traditionally? Traditionally.
SPEAKER_02What are you on right now? That's how you starting this show. The intro, yeah. Traditionally. What's going down, baby girl? You back? I'm back. Earth the dining, you here? Hey. I'm here. You're looking like you're looking. You're looking real good over there.
SPEAKER_04Come on now. You see my?
SPEAKER_02I'm digging them shoes you rocking right there. Uh-huh. I'm digging that. You know, I like you in that red. You're looking good.
SPEAKER_03Oh, look at you.
SPEAKER_02You going there, sir? Nah, I ain't going there, but I just you just look good in red. That's all I'm saying. I will not dive into that pool with you. PB. Oh, man. Thank you guys so much once again for joining us. Uh, today is our Friday episode where it's more of a relaxed kind of chill, you know, chill day after going hard in the paint um on our Tuesday show. Man, talking about divorce, that was a rough one. My God, we like to kind of tone it down just a little bit, you know, just a little bit. But before we get going, let's pray first of all. First things first. Father God, Lord, we just thank you for this day, this Friday, this opportunity to just hang out with new and old friends and family, Lord God, on this platform. Thank you for this dream come true that you have given us the opportunity to share your word, Father God. So we just pray that you bless it and the time that we share with these people. In Jesus' name. Like we normally do on our um on our Friday shows, we go over one of the uh you know what? Stop. Hold up, hold up, hold up, yeah, hold up. Before we do anything, okay. Listen, I got something to tell you guys just in case there's somebody listening to us who may be on the verge of accepting Christ, wondering about God, um, don't know about God. I want to tell you something. John 3 16 says, For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever shall believe in him will not perish, but have everlasting life. That means it doesn't matter what you have done, as long as you still have breath, you can be forgiven of your sins. The truth is you cannot outsend God's grace. So it doesn't matter what you've done. Now, you may act up after you know the Lord, and you will have consequences. Doesn't mean that He doesn't love you. If our kids, when they were younger, got out get out of line, they may have consequences. Doesn't mean we don't love them, but yeah, they're gonna catch that heat, you know, for acting up. You may do that, but it doesn't matter what you have done, where you have been, or where you are, if you would humble yourself and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, which is the bridge between God and us, you will inherit eternal life and be with the Father forever. And not only that, he will give you his spirit who will dwell with you and teach you, he will teach you the things of the Lord and give you peace and give you joy and take away guilt and take away shame. All right, but you gotta come to Jesus. That's the only way. He says, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes unto the Father but by me. Hope that blesses somebody today.
SPEAKER_03Well, didn't you say that?
SPEAKER_02The Lord was all God, amen. So this is the time on the show where we do our segment where we read one of the questions, a conversation starter, that we hope you guys will do at home as well. And we answer them. We don't read these before. Right. Uh we we we we do it with you guys. So I don't know where this is going.
SPEAKER_03Me either.
SPEAKER_02What is the where where did you get the questions from?
SPEAKER_0388 Great Conversation Starters. You guys can actually find this on Amazon. I'm not promoting Amazon, I don't know, but I did look it up and I saw it there.
SPEAKER_02Right before you you you do that, I almost forgot. We can be found. Let me show you guys where we can be reached. We can be reached on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, and Spotify. We can also be reached or seen or shown. We can be heard on those platforms. Yes, we can be heard on those um platforms. We can also be seen, or you can find us on Instagram at BIP for life, or you can find us here on YouTube where we ask you if you're digging our vibe or picking up what we're laying down to like, share, subscribe, hit that notification bell so that you can get uh up-and-coming shows and things that we're doing. And let's get the word out. So we hope that you guys will hang out with us all. So if you are going to the other platforms, Google, podcasts, or spotify, you will see that we have over 50 episodes. So you may see that um the first three are done again. You you may see on uh episode one. Yeah, episode one, God says about marriage. But on episode 50, I think 51 or 52, whatever it is, you will see the same thing. No, what that is is we had a pot we've had a podcast for over three years now.
SPEAKER_04Almost.
SPEAKER_02Almost three years now. And we we did these episodes, and now we're redoing them, revising them. So you get to see us when we first began and where we are now. You can see if God has been with us and given us a little bit more wisdom. Amen. So, anyway, let's get into the question of the day.
SPEAKER_03All right, number three. Oh, we've already oh, we haven't done this, but we have done this. You'll hear what I'm saying when I read it. All right. How do you imagine celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary? We did that. And then it says, or 50th. Okay. We would have to do the 50th because we did the 25th. All right. And then there's a uh saying it says, Love at first sight is easy to understand. It's when two people have been looking at each other for a lifetime that it becomes a miracle. Amen. That was Sam Levinson who said that. Amen. So you want to go first? Can you imagine our 50th?
SPEAKER_02You want me to go first? Yeah. Ugh. Where I see our 50th right now, today, I would love to take our whole family. I mean, kids, one through five, um, son-in-laws, right, grandkids, and we all take an amazing seven-day, ten-day cruise somewhere. Okay. Or hang out uh on in another country somewhere, but somewhere where we're just all together. I I think more so cruise is what hit hitting my mind right now. Right. But it can be a yeah, I want it to be something extravagant. For our 50th, you know, I mean, it's great, you know. Sometimes people do the they rent out the halls and or the banquet centers. I want to be somewhere. I want to, you know, go somewhere. So I want us to be able to just like foot the bill and just take everybody and we just go and hang out for like a week, uh, you know, week and a half. We don't, we we get together on holidays, but we don't get to actually vacation together often because you know somebody's always doing something. But I want every I want it to just be like everybody drop your stuff. We just drop it, drop, we just flip the bill and we just celebrate 50 years. I like that flipping bill idea. Yeah, all right, yeah.
SPEAKER_03I want to go to Disney World. No, I'm kidding.
SPEAKER_02And I they almost saw another side of me just now. You almost pulled it out. If you say Disney World one more time, I want to go to Disney World. You go into the closet.
SPEAKER_03Um, no, I share with you in all of that. I do. I could see that. I I don't think I'm a big hall person. You know, you know. I I and I don't know if repeating the vow, you know, is a thing. Although at where we got these cards and did this marriage seminar, we did get to repeat our vows, and that was pretty awesome. How they did that. That was that was that was amazing.
SPEAKER_02I know that wasn't I I know that wasn't sufficient for you, though.
SPEAKER_03No, no, I don't, I don't need don't get me started on y'all. The upgrade is coming.
SPEAKER_02I it better come, huh?
SPEAKER_03It's it it's coming. Jesus has told me Jesus himself, the whole Jesus upgrade is coming, and when it does, we're gonna share together, y'all. Okay, so the upgrade is coming. I thought for the 25th, I did, but that didn't happen. And so you know, it it's it's it's a you know, just as the Lord leads and feeds him, you see. So that's that. But yeah, I definitely, honestly, I could so see, you know, the thing that you're saying. I uh cruise, I don't know. Okay, kids on a boat, um, mm-mm. But somewhere, a destination somewhere.
SPEAKER_02By the 50th, they'll all be well. God willing, we'll have grandchildren by that time. Great grandchildren by that time. What's amazing? Yeah, that'd be pretty dope.
SPEAKER_03That'd be awesome. Yeah, so no, I I could see that. I I share with you in that, absolutely.
SPEAKER_02All right. Well, you guys answer the question. You know, read some questions. Read the question. Did you already put it up?
SPEAKER_03Yes, I did. Okay. I will read it again. Yeah, it's right.
SPEAKER_02Take some time. Let that be a conversation started for you guys. Uh, hope that blesses you. You know, these cards are great because it gets you dreaming and you know, thinking about what you would like to see for your future. I mean, actually seeing a future together with each other. We don't we hope it's not where somebody be like, what do you see for your 50th? Yeah, I'm by I'm by myself in the corner of a house on a rooftop. I I'm freed of her or him. We don't want any of that. Anyway, read it one more time for the people.
SPEAKER_03We're on 28th, going on 29th.
unknownWow.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. All right. Or your 50th, if you're, you know, beyond 25. So yeah, that's a great one.
SPEAKER_02I feel in my spirit, somebody is saying, Well, what did you guys do for your 25th? And I'm like, What did we do? What did we do for our 25th? It's not just me. Okay, woo! That was close. I don't remember. I gotta think about that one.
SPEAKER_03No, that was a big nah. No, it was a big year because a lot of things were happening. Like, I think number three was graduating high school and there was prom. I know we got away for sure.
SPEAKER_02Okay, we had a big party for you. Yeah, that we did it.
SPEAKER_03It was a big year. It was a lot of people. That's right, all on our 25th. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I know we got away for sure.
SPEAKER_03Oh, absolutely. That yeah, absolutely. But I don't really, you know, was that the the year where we coupled up and got went to Indio and people came out and it could have been.
SPEAKER_02Man, I don't know. Anywho, obviously, it must not have been that big to I'm just playing. We made it anyway. I'm thankful for having another year with you. And uh now we're getting ready to get into our segment called Blessing or Lesson.
SPEAKER_03I I say blessing first. We still need to verify that. Blessing or lesson. Blessing or lesson, blessing or blessing. Yeah, but we're still trying to figure out blessing or lesson.
SPEAKER_02Nah, it's all good. Now it's time for our segment of blessing or lesson, and this is the segment. Well, this is uh this is the segment where we uh review a short video, and all of these videos may not necessarily be people who are Christian, right? You know, or Christian videos, but there has to be some lesson that we can or something, either the thing that they're saying can be a blessing or a lesson, something that we can um pull something from. And so today we're going to be reviewing a video that Shaquille O'Neal did. Uh this one was a a good one. It it actually made the list for me. Yeah. And so we're gonna get into that video.
SPEAKER_03All right.
SPEAKER_01With a divorce, you controlled your life forever. You can't control that.
SPEAKER_05No, I couldn't.
SPEAKER_01It's two people that involved in the divorce, bro.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, but no, I I never talked about this, and I'm glad you guys asked them because I don't mind talking about that, but I was bad. Uh, she was, she was, she was awesome. She really was. It was all me. I was just, look, we don't need to talk about what I was doing, but I wasn't, I wasn't protecting her and protecting those vows. So, you know, sometimes when you live that double life, you get caught up in. So I'm not gonna say it was her, it was all me. Because she was, look, she did exactly what she's supposed to do, was gave me beautiful kids, take care of the house, take care of corporate stuff. It was it was it was just all me. Sometimes when you make a lot of mistakes like that, you know, you can't really come back from that. But as I get older and dwell on situations, I can honestly say it was all me.
SPEAKER_00Are there things from that time you would change? And do you believe if you changed them, you'd still like to be married, or you still like to be in that position where you could be with your kids? And like Channing said, could control those type of things.
SPEAKER_05The best feeling for me was coming home and hearing five, six different voices. Don't matter if I missed 15 free throws and we lost, they don't care about that. Dogman's home? Like I we used to play something called Dogman. As soon as I come in, I turn to a wild dog and I show some bite on. I just used to like get them and act like I'm biting them. It's dog man. Yeah, and they used to love that. And look, I was just being greedy. I had the perfect situation. Wife was finer than a mug. Kept giving me babies, still finer than a mug. I had it all. Just sometimes you and I don't make excuses. I know I messed up. And then, you know, when I didn't have that, I don't like to use the D word because I don't really know what it is, but I was lost. 76,000 square foot house by yourself. Lost. No kids. Go to the gym, nobody's playing in the gym, you go to their room, nobody's there. You you you start to feel it, you know. But I said to myself, okay, you're not married, but you still have to protect and provide for the family. Get you up. Man up. Let's go. What you gonna do next? Because, you know, may not be a husband, but I'm gonna always be a father. And the father's job is to protect, provide, and love. I have two, I don't like to use the term baby mamas, I have two wonderful women that have given me beautiful, gorgeous children. I have to protect and I have to provide and I have to love for them forever. That's why I work so hard. I don't work for me. I got it all. I gotta work for them, I gotta work for my six babies.
SPEAKER_02Wow. Great one. We love this video. I don't know if Shaq is a Christian. Um I've never heard anything that says that he is, um, but he was on this particular podcast right here, um, talking to these gentlemen. And uh I left that video the first time saying I respect that. Yeah I respect that. I love his transparency when it came to this actual uh podcast that he was doing. Right. Um so let's get into it. You want to go start off with number one? Uh what is something that you know we we we we found a list of things, we pulled out a list of things from this video that we thought were important to point out.
SPEAKER_03I thought that um how the young man who was asking the question, um Shaq seemed ready for it now. Like before he said, I've never talked about this, but I'm glad you are asking this. I I'm willing to do this here. And he he humbled himself. And again, I I don't know if I've coined the term, but he owned his ugly.
SPEAKER_02He's owned his ugly.
SPEAKER_03He owned his ugly. He said it he didn't even let it be, you know, applied to her. He was like, This was me. He didn't do the, you know, uh, yeah, we um it takes two.
SPEAKER_02He said Which the the uh one guy who spoke first don't know his name. Yeah, he kind of implied that, like it kind of takes two in the uh you know a divorce.
SPEAKER_03It just seemed like he was trying to level the field, like, you know, hey, two people make this decision. But Shaq, he brought it back. He said, nah, nah, man. I I did this.
SPEAKER_02So at number one, Shaq was humble. Yeah, he made no excuses. Excuses. He didn't blame anybody.
SPEAKER_03Nope.
SPEAKER_02He didn't, he didn't, he didn't do it. He said, nah. He said, nah, this was me. Number two.
SPEAKER_03Okay. Shaq took full responsibility for the failure of his marriage, which is the same as number one. Yeah, he almost he owned it. He said he said, you know, he said, I was being greedy. He didn't have to go into details. Right. You know, he said I was being greedy. He said she was, she did her part. Right. He uplifted, you know, her as he admitted his. He was like, she she stayed on point, you know. She she kept she kept everything. She managed the financial. She, you know, kept giving him children, you know, kept her body right, you know, because he used the term fine than a mug. Yeah. I don't know how fine mugs are, but the term is she was bad, you know. She's finer than a mug.
SPEAKER_02He really ain't the mug is short for something that we ain't gonna get into.
SPEAKER_03Is it?
SPEAKER_02Uh-huh. But come on, come on.
SPEAKER_03Just I'm not knowing.
SPEAKER_02Well, now you know. No, no, no.
SPEAKER_03You gonna explain it to me later?
SPEAKER_02No. You you you know, just think about it.
SPEAKER_03Y'all tell me what a mug is. Will you stop with the mug? What's a mug? Oh, okay. I don't know. I don't know.
SPEAKER_02I will tell you later. But you know, something else about that. You know, something else about that. He did something um for number two that was so important in him taking full responsibility for this, and this is why this is a little bit different than number one, he also kept his children's mothers, um, he kept the mothers in a good light before the children.
SPEAKER_03Oh, absolutely.
SPEAKER_02Right? As a man, you you you you you take on the responsibility of a of the failure. Now, if if in some cases it's it's it's it's full on the woman, but whoever is the transgressor in this case, owning full responsibility for it, he made no excuses for it. And he he kept those women uplifted in the eyes of their children.
SPEAKER_03And a lot of times baby mamas, right? Like wonderful women.
SPEAKER_02A lot of times in those situations, we become so bitter and so hardened. And that's why in divorce, it says one of the reasons he says, because of the hardness of your heart. You know what I'm saying? Sometimes we become so bitter and hardened that we end up turning the kids against the the other parent. Right. In this case, he's saying, no, your mothers don't look at your mother, your mothers in this particular way. This one falls on daddy. I was the one, I messed up, you know. So that is a a key thing and an important thing to do is to not make the person, not make the person look horrible in the children's eyes because their if you know, Shaq and his wife at the time, Shani, they were going through this, but they weren't going through this alone. Right. Their children were affected. Right. Their extended family was affected. Those who have been close to them were affected. Yeah. You know, so I have a lot of respect for him for, you know, taking full responsibility for this. On to the next one.
SPEAKER_03Okay, he realized he didn't protect his wife or the vows he made. He didn't protect her emotionally, mentally, or physically. He didn't protect his children. He didn't respect the vows that were made and he learned from it because, like we just said, he didn't even he said, I don't like calling them baby mamas. He said, Wonderful women. So he went from not protecting the right the woman, the wife at the time, to not even putting a bad, you know, because people say baby mama and you think negative, you know, you know, that that's my baby mama. You know, he didn't know. You my baby mama. My baby's mama. I ain't no baby's mama. He didn't want to do it like that though. And it it wasn't like that. He didn't want to say it in a negative way. So he said, I don't want to say that. Two wonderful women. So he learned from uh this thing of infidelity is so dangerous.
SPEAKER_02I mean, it's so bad because um and I I I do believe it's harder for people, especially men who have position, power, money, fame.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, um, because you know it's the moral woman is always throwing it.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly, exactly. Because it's always available. It's it's it's just always available. And these people that he were they knew who he was. Nobody cared about the wife, the children, or any of the situations, you know, and how it says, and remember when we were doing the one on uh it was the one on sex where we were talking about the the issue with the immoral woman, and it and it was saying, My son, stay away from this. It will take your wealth, it'll take your health, it'll take all of that stuff, right? And so, you know, he he he right here he didn't take care of them emotionally, he didn't take care of them, you know, mentally or physically. And if you are a child of God and you find yourself in this position, you are not taking care of your spouse spiritually as well. And I love how he owned up to that. He didn't respect the vows. I have this prayer that I would pray from time to time. And I still do, but I used to pray it a lot, you know, back in the day. I I I would pray, God, please don't let me lose what I have to realize what I had. Right? That, you know, especially early on in my marriage, you know, working, trying to take care of the family, you stay home, you you do this, you you I and time was going by so fast. And it's like, God, please help me to slow down here. You know, help me to not take you for granted, you know, or take advantage of you, or take the our family situation for granted. Don't let me mess this up where I lose what I have just to realize what I had. And sadly for him, this is his case, but I appreciate his transparency because I do believe that he's blessing a lot of people with this. Absolutely. All right. Number four.
SPEAKER_03You can't live a double life and it not catch up with you. Oh, it's gonna catch you. Right? Right. The truth will come to life. He talked about that. That's the term too.
SPEAKER_02The truth will come to life. Yeah. He talked about that. He said, you know, I was out here living a love, you know, double life thinking that I can just get away with it. But that's not the case. It it caught him and it catches, you know, most. Absolutely. You may think you're getting away with it, but you know, God still sees it.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02God still sees it. And, you know, if nothing else, we're, you know.
SPEAKER_03I honestly believe it weighs on the soul and the physical. Yes. Your body will show it. Things will start to break down. You're you know, stress is the killer.
SPEAKER_02Remember when that happened to David? Um, um, after he did not, after he sinned with Bathsheba and um killed Uriah. Yep. Uh, and it in one of the Psalms, it says his it was like his bones dried up in him, that unconfessed sin, trying to still live as if nothing had happened. You know, it does, it will uh begin to affect you physically. Yeah. Number five.
SPEAKER_03He said sometimes when you make a lot of mistakes like the ones he made, you can't come back from that. But the truth is, those weren't mistakes. Ooh, those were choices.
SPEAKER_02Absolutely.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, at some point it does become choice.
SPEAKER_02I had I read this, I don't know, it was a plaque or something once, and it's it stuck with me all the way until now. It said, anything done more than once is not a mistake.
SPEAKER_03Anymore.
SPEAKER_02It's a choice. You know, the one caveat I would bring to that, or I would add to that, is if you are doing something ignorantly and you just don't know and you continue to do it, yeah, that's a mistake, you know.
SPEAKER_03Because I just don't know that this is a era.
SPEAKER_02When you know, when it's something that you have to lie about, or you can before you do it. Lord, I know this is wrong, but well, that falls into a choice. That's still a choice, right? But when you have to lie to someone to do it, manipulate, deceive, anything like that, and you're doing something that has the potential to cause hurt, you're not making a mistake. You're actually making a deliberate choice. And I don't think we we we look at it often like that because it's easy to say we all make mistakes, because guess what? God is there to forgive us. It's a it adds a it adds a stronger sting to it. It adds a little bit more to it when you say, I'm making a choice to manipulate, to to lie, to deceive. Now you're actually hearing what you're doing.
SPEAKER_04Right.
SPEAKER_02You know what I'm saying? And and and that's what he did here. He was making choices. Now he may not have understood the full ramification of those choices, but nonetheless, he knew it was wrong because of what he had to do to do it, you know. So, not a mistake, it's a choice. Yeah, yep, yep, yep.
SPEAKER_03Number seven, it took Shaq losing his family to realize what he had. Right.
SPEAKER_02That goes back to Don't let, you know, Lord, please, don't let me lose what I have to realize what I had. Right. And now he's in this situation, he's older now.
SPEAKER_03Um, and he's realizing He said, I don't want to use the D word.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_03You know, but 76,000 square foot? Is that what he said?
SPEAKER_02Empty.
SPEAKER_03That's a lot of house. Empty. To you that's a lot of house. Right. You know, to to not hear those voices in, right? I I mean the silence has to be deafening.
SPEAKER_02I remember when, you know, when I used to work um at night, uh, and I had and I would have no, I'm sorry, I would work swing, right?
SPEAKER_03Okay, okay.
SPEAKER_02And I had to go to bed early. Was it swing or I can't remember, but I would have to go to bed early. And there would still be noise in the house.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_02And even though I'm not a deep sleeper, I don't, it takes me a minute to fall asleep. I liked hearing the noise in the house. Or if there's those rare times when no one's home and it's quiet, I enjoy it for a second.
SPEAKER_03The quiet is big. Right.
SPEAKER_02But after a while, right? I want to hear the noises of my family being there. And Shaq was in a situation where that was not the case.
SPEAKER_03If I'm home alone, quickly, Pandora, cartoon, something is on the TV.
SPEAKER_02So uh let's read number eight.
SPEAKER_03Number eight, it says Shaq realized the hard way that no amount of money, material things, that 76,000 square foot home or women could fill the hole in his heart when he came home to a quiet and empty house. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02There is no amount of money. Yeah, there is no amount of women or anything material, men, whatever the case, lifestyle, it doesn't matter. Nothing can fill that hole. Yeah. You know, and here, this will be something that will be a regret for him for the rest of his life. And that's one of the things about God. God so loves us, he doesn't want us having this type of regret. Just imagine in this case, if Shaq would have left his mother and father, cleaved to his wife, stayed with his wife, and you know, they the two became one, and he had all of the success, you know, in the basketball world and all of this, and and now you're having that to share with your, you know, your spouse. Right. You it wouldn't, it didn't have to be this. You know, you sin for a time may seem fun, it may seem like you're getting away with it, you know, or whatever, but in the end, it comes back and bites you in the butt. And so this is some things we will have to live with, and this is one of the things that will always be a a source of of regret from him for him. Number nine.
SPEAKER_03Living like this will lead to depression. He didn't want to say the D word, but even in him not wanting to say it, I think he's like, I thought he was talking about divorce when he was saying the D word. I thought he was talking about depression. That's funny. Different well, either way, right? Divorce is depressing, right? It is. It should be. Some people are some people are like, oh, let's have a party. But you know, I thought he was talking about depression. But divorce, both. It it's a hard time.
SPEAKER_02It's yeah, it it really is. And it's even accepting a loss like that. It's even more terrible time for the kids. He said he was lost.
SPEAKER_03Right.
SPEAKER_02And I once again, I'm gonna keep saying it. I love his transparency. He said, I was lost when he didn't hear those voices anymore, when he couldn't come in and play dog man anymore. I love dog man. Um, when he just none of that was there and you're in the empty house, he he he got depressed, he got lost, he got lost, and this is this is part of the byproduct of this. So if there's anyone out there who is in the midst of adultery, yeah, listen, and especially if you got a spouse at home who is still willing to work it out with you, stop it because the end is so far worse than what you think you're experiencing now. We just come, we, we, we exhort you to please stop it. And if you are a believer doing this, I have to tell you, it's coming because God says he chastises those who are his. And so if you are calling on the name of Christ and saying that that's your father, you better stop it. I'm telling you, you know, it's not that we're sitting here wanting to, you know, shake our finger at you, but we don't want to see this damage go any further for you. Open your eyes, repent. Heal, enhance, and restore. Exactly.
SPEAKER_03That's not gonna do that.
SPEAKER_02Exactly. And number 10.
SPEAKER_03Lastly, although he was no longer married, this was a good one. As a man, he realized he still has to protect and provide for those he loves.
SPEAKER_02Absolutely.
SPEAKER_03He said he had six babies and go on for them. And he's talking about also taking care of the mother, you know, making sure that they are they're good for their babies.
SPEAKER_02Absolutely, absolutely, and that is you may not be able to fix what you've done, right, but you can get right from where you are. And in this case, his thing was I can't get my wife back, right? But I can make sure that they are well taken care of. That is my obligation, that is my my duty. And so, right here, for me, it feels like he's doing the best he can, you know, in the situation that he is to make sure that his family, his children are are well taken care of, and a partner taking care of his children is making sure that the you know women um are taken care of as as well. And it just goes to show that even when we mess up really bad and make horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible decisions. I'm telling you, if you are a believer in Christ, no matter how horrible the decision is, or the choices that you have made, if you would just but turn around, God can heal it, God can restore you. It may never be back to what it was it originally was, but he can give you peace, he can give you joy, he can give you contentment, he can give you ease of heart, he can take away the guilt if you don't make excuses for it. And so for me, I rate this as a lesson. I'm gonna agree with you on that as a whole lesson on what not to do. Okay, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_03Here it is, a man who but also on what to do if that happens. Yes, this is your world, this is your plight, this is what you do.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Be a father to those kids, be a provider, absolutely, absolutely what you can be.
SPEAKER_02Absolutely. We really hope that in showing you guys these videos, that these these things would be a lesson to you. I mean, a lesson for you. You know, I really pray that if the because somebody out there finds themselves in this situation in this situation.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, we're human.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and I hope that you can see this and see the end result of what this can bring, and in some cases is even worse, you know, because everybody doesn't have shack type money. Yeah, right. You know what I'm saying? Ending up alone, ending up uh well, I was just gonna say by yourself, ending up nobody coming in.
SPEAKER_03Separated from your children, yeah. Separated from the love of your life, right, because of something you did, you know. It uh that makes it a bad juju, losing your home, losing you because cause, you know, uh a woman scorned.
SPEAKER_02Well, it's and it's it's not just a woman. This can be the other way around.
SPEAKER_03It can and not having a resource. I don't think like he said, the resources didn't matter to him. I'm sure somewhere in a lane it might have made things, you know. But he I don't think he can't he wanted his family, yeah. He wanted, you know, the sounds and things.
SPEAKER_02If he could trade it all, if he could trade it all to have that back, I think he would, you know.
SPEAKER_03I I don't know. I can't say, but I I I I I lean towards I lean more towards he would. Yeah, because he suffered a great loss, and it's something that money can't buy.
SPEAKER_02That's the that's where we that's where I was going. You can't you can't buy love. You can't you can't buy love. Not real, love no. You no, you can't buy love.
