We even liked each other last night, huh?
SPEAKER_04Normally be funny during the study, y'all. During the preparation, y'all.
SPEAKER_00She don't know how to act right.
unknownAmen.
SPEAKER_04We'll just leave it.
SPEAKER_00Amen and hallelujah. Amen. Anyway, babe, tell the people where we can be found. We can heard.
SPEAKER_04We can be found uh on YouTube. Did you hear me? Uh-uh. On YouTube at you're gonna do this every week, huh? I am until I really, really in my board. Instagram and Facebook at BIP for life, and on YouTube at Because I Promised.
SPEAKER_00Absolutely. We can be heard on audio podcast, on Google Podcasts, Apple Podcast, and Spotify. And like we always say, if there's a show that we're redoing, it'll have a 2.0 behind it. So if you for instance, we've done, we've said this before, we've done what does God have to say about marriage twice. Right. You know, we want you guys to hear how how our first one sounded three years ago. But we also want you guys to hear how we sound, I mean, how we sound or what we've learned in in the last three years. So go check that out. Once again, that can be found on audio podcasts, Google Podcasts, and Spotify at Because I Promised. Man, we appreciate you guys so much. We're starting to get some um titles for our Friday show. Come on. You know, uh one of them, and we said this last week when she gave out her first and last name. But government, one of our beautiful uh sisters, B, came up with Real Talk with the Wilsons. Yes, we got a few more suggestions from another one of our um our tried or truths, our ride or dies. Yeah, just don't say the last name.
SPEAKER_04Renee, my dear friend.
SPEAKER_00You will go in the closet.
SPEAKER_04Renee, my dear friend.
SPEAKER_00No, Tony and Renee, we so love you guys. Absolutely. They've been hanging out with us from the beginning.
SPEAKER_04And they gave us some suggestions. We have uh high-fi days. Okay, things you can celebrate uh about marriage. Like high-five, celebrating things about marriage. Okay, face-to-face Fridays. Face-to-face Fridays, I like that apparent conversations from both of us and a special guest. Okay. Like today. Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Wink.
SPEAKER_04Wink wink, okay. Faithful Fridays, topics of prayer or encouragement, specifically catering to common problems in a marriage.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_04And she had fun Fridays or Fair Fridays, virtual games for Front for Fun Fridays. Okay. And for Fair Friday, encouraging out um encouraging out here in marriage by setting a r a remind of being fair and understanding each other's weaknesses.
SPEAKER_00So that's called Fair Friday? Yeah.
SPEAKER_04That's the Fuss Friday. She had a bunch of them. That's the Fuss Friday, discussion about common arguments and disagreements in a marriage.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_04Or have fun Fridays, encouraging couples to have fun by suggesting ideas and getaways and spend intimate time with each other.
SPEAKER_00Man, so I um wasn't one of them Faithful Fridays?
SPEAKER_02Yes.
SPEAKER_00Okay. So you guys have one more week to get in your names of what we should title our Friday shows. Right now, at least for me, I haven't talked to Ms. Wilson yet, but for me, Faithful Fridays is up there, and real talk with the Wilsons are high on the list. So you guys have one more week to get in your uh suggestions, and then from there, we are gonna pick a title for this Friday show. But today, oh man, we are doing something different. Oh boy, and I'm excited, and when I get excited, I pull out the black hat. So hold on, hang on, guys, hang on. Oh hang on. Come on now, come on, come on. Uh-oh. Uh-oh, hold on. There we go. Oh yeah. This is when you know that I'm excited. Uh today we're gonna have our very first interview on YouTube, on video, and it's with a couple that we adore. Um a couple that has uh in a you do you realize it's been three years now.
SPEAKER_04Since we first met them.
SPEAKER_00But you wouldn't know it. Um the relationship that we've built uh with this couple in the last three years has uh it seems like it's a it's a relationship that's been from the beginning like they were at the beginning of VIP. Because we have such we've been blessed with really faithful friends, you know, um friends that we've had, couples for 30 years now, in the Lord, loving the Lord, raising children, all the things that we've done, they've done as well. And this couple fits right in there, and they came to you know God brought us to them and us them to them and them to us at a time that was so crucial for Diana and myself because we were actually going through um a church shutdown which we had never been a part of, and we were looking for a place to pitch our tent with our family and to find a place for um at the congregation.
SPEAKER_04Absolutely, absolutely we um what do you call it? Not carpooled, but we drove we commuted. There you go. It was another C word for driving. Yeah, we commuted uh an hour into uh Los Angeles for church every Sunday. So yeah, we were definitely looking for a place for the congregants who were in LA and uh we were uh looking to find a place closer to home for ourselves.
SPEAKER_00Guys, we drive uh at least 50 miles one way to church, and we had been doing it for 16, 15, 16 years. And you know, when we were shutting down as a church, it was our time. We was like, okay, we're gonna find somewhere closer to home. Right. Needless to say, we moved uh five minutes away from our old church, and honestly, we haven't regretted it a second. Not a day, not a day. Um, with that being said, we are going to introduce to you guys the Buffingtons, Bill and Mika Buffington. Hey guys, how you doing?
unknownDoing good.
SPEAKER_01We're doing good. What's up, Wilson?
SPEAKER_00Good. Thank you guys for joining us. Hey, bro, hey, some of these, hey guys, in case you did, well, you should know because this is Bill Buffington from Calvary Chapel, Inglewood. That's why you see the CCI on the hat as well.
SPEAKER_04Uh his dog. His dog.
SPEAKER_00Oh, I'm so sorry.
SPEAKER_04His dog, his guy, his dog.
SPEAKER_00You guys know him as my dog and my pastor. And this is his lovely wife, Mika. Man, it is so good having you guys here. Absolutely. So, um do you remember the first thing I said to you when uh you introduced yourself to me at by uh when I came to your Bible study, Bill?
SPEAKER_01Man, um I I I just I remember the first conversation. I don't know if you were saying you were checking us out. I've I've it was something along those lines.
SPEAKER_00I I don't remember exactly. No, that's exactly it. I kind of put you on the spot here, but what I said was after Bible study, because a friend of mine had um heard you uh on the radio and said he knew what I was I was looking for, a church to um bring everyone um with where I knew they could be in a good place. Because you remember we were leaving and going back out by our house. So I came like the 12 tribes of Israel scouting out the land. And after Bible study, I said, Listen, man, uh I I don't really know you, but I'm gonna be honest with you. I'm here to vet you. Right. Right, just like that. Just I I I didn't have time to play around with it. And I said, I'm I'm I'm actually here to vet you, you know. And I told him we were going through a church um shutdown and everything. And your next statement threw me off. I did not expect that. Because what he said to me was, hey man, you want to hook up and let's go out to breakfast? Right. Let's talk about it. Yeah, been hooked up. That was good, been hooked ever since. Been hooked ever since.
SPEAKER_04Okay.
SPEAKER_00Wow. Uh I was vet hey, I was vetting you too, homie. And you were because that's why you came over and introduced yourself. Like, who is this dude right here? Absolutely. All right. Good. You guys want to tell us a little bit about yourselves? You know?
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Um, so this is uh this this is my beautiful wife. Uh we be this year in May, we'll be uh 25. 25. This wow, this is 25? It's going by faith. It's 26. 26. Wow, are you right? Wow. We've been married so long, we've been getting years now, you know. We got married in 1997.
SPEAKER_03It was just last month. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_01So yeah, this is this has been uh this has been an absolute blessing. Um, it's been an awesome ride. It's all been in the Lord, and I know that that's that's made all the difference, but um, man, this is my partner, this is my person, and um it's been a blessing raising, making babies, raising babies, ministry together, all all the above. Uh it has been a blessing from from day one.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, absolutely. You you were gonna say something, Mika?
SPEAKER_03I co-sign all that. All right, okay.
SPEAKER_00How did you guys meet?
unknownSir.
SPEAKER_03Oh, that's a story to tell.
SPEAKER_01I'm gonna let her tell it because every time I tell it, she sticks, she makes it sound like I'm embellishing. So I'm gonna see if she can tell the truth to y'all. Go ahead and tell them how we met.
SPEAKER_00I've never heard that I was okay. Here we go, here we go. Okay, go ahead. Go ahead, go ahead.
SPEAKER_03Tell me, tell your tale. So we met at LEX and um it was McDonald's. He said terminal.
SPEAKER_04Terminal one, terminal one. Southwest that's the southwest terminal, not knowing the terminals.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, okay.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, and I was on my way out to go to a wedding in in Vegas.
SPEAKER_01I think she had marriage on her mind because she was on her way to a wedding, and then she she she hit me with the Google eyes tough. But go ahead. Go ahead and tell your tail. You was at McDonald's. I just I know I was walking by McDonald's and I saw you see me. And I was like, okay, we had an eye connection. It was it was tough.
SPEAKER_03Just a young girl. You know, I admit it. Yeah, I saw a nice looking young man, but you did you hit the double take?
SPEAKER_01You hit the double take. I was not gonna take it. You was like, okay, you you gave me the long lingering you like it wasn't like that long. But go ahead.
SPEAKER_03With the lashes. So so feeling all kind of funny, being a young lady, and and yeah. Oh, here we go. So I I get my food, go down the corridor, around the corner, sit next to a pole, kind of hiding from the alleyway, and he appears before me to introduce himself.
SPEAKER_01All right. So she she had just bought her food, right? Being a gentleman, I know women don't typically want to talk with a burger in their mouth. So I gave her a minute to consume her McDonald's. And when I thought she was done, I did have a couple little people. I said, hey, tell me where she sits down at. I'm gonna go, I'm gonna I'm gonna follow up with her. Okay. So that's not talking, that's more of like, you know, follow up with people all the time. Like following up with people on that call. Okay. I went over and uh we had a we had a little conversation. I still have the piece of paper that she gave me her number on uh today. And this is the cool thing. She had went to her ATM, so it is date and timestamp. I know what day I got to that's good stuff. I know around what time, and I think she had already had the number written before I got to the I don't remember her writing it in my face. I think I think she already had it ready for me because when I asked, that's what I remember, but but you know, she doesn't remember it that way. But I do have the paper.
SPEAKER_00Hey Bill, uh Bill, quick question. Do you remember your original Mac line?
SPEAKER_01Oh Lord. So I don't remember a line. I wasn't a line kind of guy. I was way better than that, you know. So I just started the regular conversation. I found out she was a school teacher. Um, you know, and we I know we talked a little bit about kids in school and whatnot, and then I was like blah, blah, blah. Can I get, you know, I I I I had to get on with with the thing. So I I don't know business you were doing. I don't remember how I added it before the next one.
SPEAKER_04That's a whole nother story.
SPEAKER_01Hey, it was it was quite some time ago. But I know, hey, I know it was successful. I walked away with the digits.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's awesome.
SPEAKER_04That's awesome. Okay, so question number two, or do you want to go into the 88 questions? You want to take a break later on, or go on to number two? What do you say? Question two, lovey. Okay, question number two. We'll do it halfway through. Okay. Were your family and friends in favor of you two getting married at such a young age?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, he he just slid on in with all of my family. He had, you know, everybody on board, including my stepmom. Wow and the pastor.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_04Okay. And what was the age when you guys got married? How old were you?
SPEAKER_01I was 21 when we got married. Okay. So I met her. I was 19 when I met her.
SPEAKER_04Right.
SPEAKER_0121 when we got married.
SPEAKER_00Wow. Awesome. Wow. Um, how long did you guys date before you actually went down the aisle?
SPEAKER_03About a year and a half.
SPEAKER_01No, no, it was a year and a half from me to marrying you.
SPEAKER_03That's what he asked. Yeah. Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Wow. Yeah. Some of that was whack though, because she she tried to do this thing where she was, she was, she was holding me out there for a while, like, like, is he all the way safe?
SPEAKER_03Why is that? Not just that. That wasn't the only reason.
SPEAKER_01Oh, what was it? Because I had nothing, I had done. Well, what was it?
SPEAKER_03Well, also, you had a kid.
SPEAKER_01Okay, I did have a kid. Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, and you had a baby mama.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I did. Okay. So I brought that into the table. So when I met her, I had a a daughter that was almost one. Uh-huh. And uh, so I guess that's why she was uh a little apprehensive. Uh-huh. She never said that to me though.
SPEAKER_03But um because I needed to see it wasn't so much the baby, it was the relationship with the baby mama. Right. And I need to see what that looked like, how she handled that situation. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_00That was absolutely that was wise. Yeah, that was absolutely wise. Because, you know, to that point, there are so many um people who get involved in relationships, and they're so focused on the person that they're dating, they're not even checking to see what is the relationship like with their kid, what is the relationship like with the other um parenters? Yeah, yeah, well, yeah, if the with the other parent. And so that was a wise thing that you took some time to wait and see if if this dude was who he said he really is. Uh that that that's good.
SPEAKER_01It was wise. She tried to play me like I was her friend. That was what that was when she was telling everybody at church. Okay. But she was not my friend. She that was she was my friend. She was my woman. We we was talking every night. I was with you every day. If we wasn't at church, I was with you.
SPEAKER_03You didn't have any benefits. We were friends.
SPEAKER_01Well, we weren't having sex. We was we was Christian. We would do we was doing it God's way. There was no sex.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, right.
SPEAKER_01So I didn't get I didn't we didn't get no sex till we got married, but uh, but but we was not friends. If I had another friend like her, she would have been very unhappy. And so it was thankfully, you know, to this weekend is Easter Sunday. Easter is where we kicked the door in because uh it was a it was it was it was a girl at church that was interested. She thought that me and Mika was friends, like I'm the gay best friend of the time. So she was gonna she was gonna holler at Mika about you know hooking me up with her or talking to her, and Mika was all tickled and thought it was I was like, nah, I'm putting my foot down. That's you live it a lie. You were my friend, and I I I got her to say that day that um all right, we're not friends. We we, you know, she was my woman. And then from there, I pushed marriage. I was like, I don't want a girlfriend, I want a wife. So it was uh I was off to the races after Easter.
SPEAKER_00Man, you guys know I was I was really trying to uh live right by the Lord, but man, the pressure was just too much, you know. Dinah right here, she was just, you know, I'm trying to be, you know, holy and sanctified, and she just was, you know. Sorry. Sorry. She just snake charmed me, man. He said a snake charter. Oh no. I'm gonna tear with a side.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, um Mickey was pretty wild. Um let you have that. I was um I was I was operating in a level of supernatural self-control. I had to tell her that she had to wear more clothes, uh you know, that she didn't hug me in the front. She had to, you gotta stop kissing me. I I had to I had to really put some restrictions on her so we can make it to the altar undefiled. It was tough, but but we got there.
SPEAKER_00We got there. That's the way he's seeing how Mika. Man, I need I needed to know you in that time. No, but you know, it in talking about that, because there are so many couples out there, Christian couples who are dating. And unfortunately for us, um, because we had those similar situations, um, there um Dinah had um a daughter um when we met. That's my baby girl. 35, 35 now. I know. It was three two when I met. Oh my gosh. But um, and then when we got together, we we we didn't do it the right way. And uh I I really think that that is uh part of the thing that caused a lot of issues for us, especially in those first five years of marriage, you know, not trusting God and doing it his way and just coming from under a lot of the baggage that we had had to do. And so just to hear that there's a couple that actually, once they were um committed to the things of the Lord doing it his way, you know, it was it was really great. That's awesome. That's awesome.
SPEAKER_01Let me let me say this. I don't want it to sound too clean. It was uh we made it to the alt. Yeah, let me be clear with God to spend me, right? We we we we refrained from having sex. We had many, there were many times along the way where I still believe we sinned. We went too far. You know, she touched me too much. Uh it went beyond what it was, you know, we did, we did more than we should have, and we would repent and and pull back, right? You know, um, but we did, you know, it was it was um you know we we made it without you know getting into a a sexual relationship, which I'm thankful for. Uh, but it was definitely a battle, and there were there was it needed to be a mutual commitment because there were days where, you know, there are days where I was I was ready to cash it in. Right. And uh there were days where you know it we we both had to show up saying and let's let's keep this commitment. It did become much easier for me once I had a date on the calendar, right? And I was like, there's my there's my date. Um that's the date from that date right there. I got I we're gonna settle this issue, you know. So um, but it was a challenge, and um, but I would encourage any couples that it's it's uh you worth it's it's yeah, it's worth it's worth battling through and overcoming together. Um because there'll be many more battles to overcome together as you continue in marriage.
SPEAKER_00So absolutely. We should start calling those Sundays. Guilty Sundays, because those were some of the worst ones when you had to We just remember uh we were so awful.
SPEAKER_04I mean not awful well we were kind of bad because we did it the wrong way, but we tried to keep it clean on Sundays. It was never allowed on Sundays, right? It was like I get sick just thinking about it and Mondays were awful too, but somewhere around Wednesday it just became a whole lot easier. And then there it was just it was just a mess.
SPEAKER_01But those Sundays midweek.
SPEAKER_04It was just a mess. We definitely Sundays really were awful. I mean, because it's a guilt, like you said, guilty Sundays.
SPEAKER_00It's not worth it. So for any young couples that are considering marriage or anything out there, it is not worth the guilt, the shame. It's not. Um, you know, our God doesn't deserve that. And literally, when it came to us, this almost did not come to be true story because of our our our foolishness. Trust the Lord. Absolutely. You got the next question, baby?
SPEAKER_04All right. So we know the answer, but the for the people who are um watching, how many children do you have? And what was the adjustment period like if there was one at all?
SPEAKER_03Well, we have four kids. The two oldest are girls, and the the other two are boys, 18 to 20.
SPEAKER_00Wow.
SPEAKER_03And so for us, I don't know that there was an adjustment period because we always had one. Right. Right. Right. So that that was neat. You know, that's that's the gift from God. That's the one that came with the marriage. Right.
SPEAKER_00Absolutely.
SPEAKER_03But the adjustment did come when we had, as the Wilsons would say, number three. Okay. Okay. Which is our Billy boy, um, because he has autism. So with the special needs, that did create an adjustment in our family.
SPEAKER_01Okay. And that was that was a point at which my wife came home from work. Um, there was there was yeah, the financial adjustment, there was a life adjustment. We were we were both learning what was autism, so we were kind of hit with that reality. Um that was a that was a time, I remember, you know, there was there was that was a time of crying out and looking to the Lord, and there were some tears and everything else. But um I I I now look back at some of those times and I just see how the Lord, um, man, he was he was there every step of the way. You know, he was there in the good times, you know, uh, but he's also there in those deeper, those difficult moments, carrying us through and making purpose, giving, giving purpose to those difficult things.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, and a lot of lessons learned and learning how to work together.
SPEAKER_00I know this is kind of off the cuff right here, but what is some advice um that you can give for couples out there who are um dealing with some of the challenges that you guys had to deal with, realizing that your baby boy was um autistic. Um what are some of the things that you can give uh a couple out there that may be struggling with that right now?
SPEAKER_01One thing I would say is um, you know, I I I did spend a little bit of time, you know, thinking. First, I was my first thought was I believe in miracles and prayer, so I'm like, I'm gonna lay hands and I'm gonna pray for my son, and God's gonna be glorified in healing him. Um, you know, I remember praying that through when God spoke to me through John 9. I also was thinking maybe this is a punishment. You know, this you your mind goes all over the place trying to figure out, you know, what God's doing and why. And um and God spoke to me through John 9. It was a guy that was born blind, and the disciples were debating who sinned that he was born this way. And God said, Jesus said to them, No one said that he was born this way, but that the works of God would be revealed in him. And it changed my perspective. Rather than trying to figure out why he was, um, God said, Look, I have a purpose in him being this way. And so look for what I'm doing through this. And so when I began to look at little Bill and just see, like, God, I'm looking for what you're doing through this, it was beautiful. I saw that there were people that he brought to our lives, there are people that were came to Christ, came back to Christ. There were ministries, Johnny and friends that we got involved in through him. And um, and as I look at what God has done through it, I I see, I see the beauty of you know, God's plans over my own plans. And so I guess one thing I would say to a couple with a kid with special needs, and you know, just rather than you know, beating yourself up, sometimes we we ask the wrong questions. Um, I don't want to read 10 books about where autism came from at this point. He hasn't. So uh I'm looking to the Lord for okay, what you what are you doing through this?
SPEAKER_04Yes.
SPEAKER_01Um, how might you be glorified in it? You know, and so I would encourage them to be looking for that. Look for what the Lord is doing, um, but definitely stay together on it. You know, you you you don't the the sometimes the challenges can be a wedge to bring you apart, but if you if you look to the Lord, the same challenge that drove one couple apart drives one couple another couple closer together. And so I know for me and my wife, as we we tag team up on this, it just brought it made our union tighter. Man, when you when you go to war together, when you work together towards something, uh, we're both invested in this together, it it brought us together. You know, there was a uh there was a common goal.
SPEAKER_03So I would also say if you don't have a relationship with the Lord, come on, you need one. There you go. Okay, you really need one because there's times where you'll notice how much you don't know and he knows everything. There'll be times where what I call a slap in the face is every now and then. It seemed like everything is going great and life is quote unquote normal, and something happens rather, you know, you're at that baseball game and see all the other kids out there playing, and yours will never do that. Not that he couldn't, but it's just not his thing or her thing. Um or you know, it the wind could blow the wrong way. Right, right on you. Really? Um, and I just call him those slaps in the face, and you know, God can comfort your heart. But outside of that relationship with him, you can feel so alone and so lost. And so a relationship with God is crucial. I I can't stress how how essential that is. Um even you know, life in general, yes, but when you're dealing with this type of challenge, which he knew what he was giving you to start off with, right? He chose it, right? You know, he chose us, he chose those with kids with special needs for a purpose that we probably will never fully understand. But he's there to help us and guide us.
SPEAKER_00Absolutely. That's so beautiful, wonderful answer. Um, and with that being said, you know, Bill, you're usually on our Tuesday episodes giving the gospel minute. Hey, bro, you want to break down the gospel for somebody out there since we have you on a Friday interview, somebody who may not know Jesus. Uh Bill Buffington, my dog with the gospel minute.
SPEAKER_01Hey, this is uh I believe this is the most important message in the whole world is is that you know, every one of us living and breathing right now, um, we are an eternal being, right? God uniquely made us in his image. We are going to exist for all eternity. We have life today, right here, right now, but these lives will end eventually. A hundred out of a hundred people are gonna die. The Bible says in Hebrews 9 27 that it's appointed to man once to die, and after this the judgment. And so, what happens when you die? The Bible says once you die, there's a judgment. Um, and so for those that don't know, this is a very important judgment. When you you're gonna stand before the creator of heaven and earth, and you're gonna give an account for one thing, and it's not gonna be your good versus your bad, it's not gonna be where you worked at, what you did, what you gave. You're gonna give an account to the God the Father for what you did with his son Jesus Christ, because the Bible says that God the Father loved you and me so much, knowing that we were sinful and flogged, he made a provision for us. He sent his son Jesus to earth. And what Jesus came to do was to live the life that you and I are incapable of living. Um, we're all sinful, we've been sinning as long as we've been living. And the Bible, the Bible teaches that the wages of sin is death.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_01And so Jesus came and lived the life you and I couldn't live, a perfect, holy, sinless life. And then the Bible says that he took our sin upon him and he paid the penalty for our sins on our behalf. And so what we need to do in order to take hold of that is we have to put our faith in him. The Bible says that when I repent of my sin, I turn from my sin and I turn towards God in repentance. That one, he forgives me, he receives me as his son or or daughter. Uh, if you're a woman, my sin uh is applied to Jesus and he paid the penalty in full on the cross. His perfect holy life is now applied to me. And when I die, as as I will, and I stand before the holiest being in the universe, as I will, he's gonna see me as he would have seen Jesus, perfect, holy, sinless, and righteous. And I'm gonna be accepted in his sight. Beyond that, there are benefits for the rest of my life on earth. I have a relationship with God. Right, I can pray and God listens. I can read the Bible and God speaks to me. God gives me purpose and direction for this life. And so I don't want to discount that. It's not just heaven. It would be enough if it were, but he has so enriched this life that um that I think some people are they're they're they're moving through this life without any sort of real purpose or direction because they're disconnected from their creator. And so I would invite anybody listening who is outside of a relationship with God, uh, that you would let today be the day that you would say, you know what, I'm gonna turn from my sin. I'm gonna turn to God and I want to receive his forgiveness for my sin. I don't, I want to receive what Jesus did on the cross for me. And then we celebrate Sunday that he rose from the grave and in the resurrection. He conquered death, he conquered sin, he conquered Satan. And so for those that believe in Jesus, death won't hold you either. When you die, you're gonna go live with Jesus. Um, Satan can't conquer you either, he's been defeated in your life, and sin won't have dominion over you anymore because now you belong to God and he's gonna give you strength that you've never known. And so I invite anybody listening, come to Jesus, receive him for all that he makes available to you. Um, and it's free to you, though it costs him everything. Come to Jesus.
