Isaiah 9:6-7

 Points: 

  1. Jesus would be given. (v. 6) 
  2. Jesus would rule a kingdom. (v. 6)
  3. Jesus would have the best names. (v. 6)
  4. Jesus would have a unique earthly kingdom. (v. 7)
  5. Jesus would establish and rule His Kingdom. (v. 7)
  6. Jesus would never relinquish control of His Kingdom. (v. 7)
  7. God will ensure Jesus succeeds. (v. 7)

 Live like Jesus.

  1. We should give ourselves to Jesus.
  2. We should guard our family name.
  3. We should embrace justice and righteousness.
  4. Kingdom citizens should increase His Kingdom.
