As the election season of 2022 draws closer, we're reminded of the fractures running through our communities- fractures so deep that our nation has been pressed to the point of riot, has nurtured a thriving"cancel culture," and has left neighbor staunchly set against neighbor. Unfortunately, those same fractures run through the Church, despite our call to unity.
In pursuit of that unity (even in politics), we've asked Rev. Enoch Liao of Boston Chinese Evangelical Church and Rev. Dr. Ray Hammond of Bethel AME Church onto our podcast, to model what it looks like to lovingly share opinions with fellow Christians and choose to uphold our unity in Christ over differing views on applying scripture to modern issues. Join us as we explore what unity and love look like in political conversations, in this episode, specifically in conversations about voting as a Christian and navigating the issue of abortion.
