It's good to have you with us. God strengthen you and bless you. You are joining us here at Elim church this evening. For Online Bible Study, it might be the last time that we're here, we might be going back into the main church very, very soon. But I thank you so much for everybody that's joined us and listened with us through these podcasts for the teaching for everything that we're doing here. And I just want to just say thank you so, so much, wherever you are, and whoever you all for everybody has listened to the podcast, as shared, the podcast has dived into that. And we thank you very much for your feedback on that we're in Psalm 27. And I have no notes in front of me whatsoever. I purely was just in prayer, and I just said, God, I just want to do something very different tonight. Lord, I just want to go in and Lord, just give me a scripture. And I've just read the text very, very slightly, just before we come on out. So I'm just literally going to go and we just see how we go. So I just just trying something very different tonight, just literally just waiting on the Lord. But for those that are in the world of podcasts. Thank you so much for listening to us your journey myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, you can find these podcasts. And there have been many teachings on there. We've got great brothers and sisters that have come along and sat around the table with me over the last number of months. You can find this on Buzzsprout, Spotify, all the usual places, you know, I Heart Radio, Amazon music, wherever that may be, just look for us and you will find us. I think we'll press in now I think we'll just push on and get yourself comfortable for 3035 40 minutes tonight. Let's just see how we go. Psalm 27. As I said, I just sat back and I just prayed and I was just still Psalm 46, verse 10, I took that unbold To Be still and know that you are God. So I believe this is where I've been led tonight. So we will soon find out. As we just press into the Scripture, the first one of Psalm 27. Let's just read this and just pray that God will guide us. So let's open up tonight in prayer. Let's just rest in Him and just be still and know that he's got Father in the name of Jesus. I pray for everybody on the other side of the mics of this evening. I just pray that you'll guide them and strengthen them and be with them. Let the power of God be upon them tonight, Lord and wherever they are across the globe as they join with us. Lord, as we look at God's word, Father, we pray that the power of the Holy Spirit will be upon each and every one of us, Lord, that we will rest in your word that we will just trust in you. So Father, this Psalm 27. We asked you tonight, Lord, that you will open up in our hearts, our lives, our minds, and the power of God will just descend upon each and every one of us. Come, Lord, we are listening. Lord, we are your children. We need you in our lives. Father, we need the power of God. So come Lord, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, amen. Psalm 27, verse one, it says, The Lord is the light of my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked advance against me to devour me? It is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall, though an army besieged me, oh, my goodness, my heart will not fear though war breakout against me, even then will I be confident? One thing I asked the Lord, this is only do I seek is that I may dwell in the house of the Lord forever, all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord, and to seek Him in His temple. Let's just hold it there. Let's just go back to verse one. The Lord is the light of my salvation. I just want to encourage you tonight. Wherever you are, the Lord is the light of your salvation. He is your salvation, He is your God, He is your King. And as the psalmist writes, in 27, verse one, the Lord is, I want you to speak tonight over yourself over your lives over every situation, and just say the Lord is because the Lord is the light of your salvation. He is your garden, He is your King. And I am learning to come away from motivational preaching and talking, and all that running on adrenaline and everything and I'm learning to walk very differently with God. I'm learning to walk very openly and very honestly, we've got, you know, and that that might sound a little bit strange. I'm starting to realize that he is in full charge. He is the King of kings, and he is the Lord of lords. And this is not about me, this is about him. He is worthy of all praise, but something is about to break out in your life. Something is about to move, you are going to see a shift you are going to see a move of grace, you are going to see great and powerful things because God is with you. And as you've looked at that text, as we've read that together as we've fallen back, and we've just seen that as we just rest in that it says it says about an army verse, verse three, though an army Made besieged me My heart will not fear. God has your heart your heart is for God you may be troubled at this moment, you may be fearful of the moment of the mighty force that's happening out in Ukraine and Russia and everything that's breaking out. And the Scripture said, though, an army breakout or besieged me. And when you look at that text, I pray that God will just open up his word to you tonight, and you will feel the love and the power of the Holy Spirit. But let's just read that again. Psalm 27, verse one, the Lord is the light of my salvation whom shall I fear, I shall fear no evil, for You are with me, your rod and your staff, they comfort me, flick into Psalm 23, have a have a peruse, have a read, have a gentle read through Psalm 23. Tonight, rest in the Word of God, I really believe God is speaking to me and God is speaking to you. We look at our lives and I keep looking at my life. I keep reflecting over things lately. And keep thinking about lifestyle choices that are made in the past situations that I shouldn't have done. Things that I'd done that I shouldn't have done. But when I pause, and I really be still, I thank God for the life time of experiences that I've experienced in my life, because God saved me in my darkest need. In my darkest hour. God set me free from all that sort of stuff. He didn't save me when I was at the pinnacle. When I was at the happiest when I was at that point of joy. He saved me when I was empty when I was lost. When I was searching in the world when I was acting when recreational substances when I was doing what I was doing, living as I was living, doing all that sort of stuff, there are stopped there is things in my life that I could not even talk about, because I'll be frightened of my dad. I've got to be absolutely open with you, my Dad Oh my god, Dad, if you knew, but do you know my mum, my mum was called on many, many years ago to glory and there are things that I am embarrassed talking about speaking about, especially to my parents, but I just want to let you know lifestyle choices have Kerik made you to character that you our lifestyle choices have made the character that I am. But what I want to let you know tonight because I really believe we've all the depth of my heart. There are many in church fearful and worried about past situations coming out and springing out and worrying about what the church Rectorate and the crowd might say about you. But God saved you at your darkest God saved me at my darkest God stretches in at the darkest point. And some people journey years in dark places and, and it seems to be a battle that goes on. But look what it says in Psalm 27, verse one, the Lord is the light of my salvation. He is the light. The Bible tells us that God that Christ is the light of the world. He is the light of the world. He is the light of your salvation. Light is such an interesting word I've, I've never fully understood and I never will fully understand the power of that word. But like, there is so much power in life light shines obviously in the darkness, light overtakes darkness, light, light beams in a darkness is just so bleak and black. But when the light comes into that dark space, it illuminates it gives freedom, light gives freedom, light is so powerful. The Scripture says in the beginning. God said, Let there be light. So light is critical for life light is critical. Light is so important, and I just want to emphasize whoever you are, I don't I'm not even clocking my phone properly. So if anybody's online with me, I just pray that God will speak directly to you tonight. If God saved me in my darkest, darkest, darkest hour, the bleakest moment that I could ever have. He did not save me when all was good, and all was dandy, and all was wonderful and everything was rosy. He saved me. God rescued me from the gates and from the pit of the muck of how of life and if God set me free, how much more can he do for you, brothers and sisters? How much more can he do for you there is power, in the name of Jesus, He is the King of glory. He is worthy of all praise. But this is simple tech tonight. The Lord is the light of my salvation, his light, his brilliance, his glory is shining over you, you know without going too deep in theological studies tonight. I just want to I'm just praying that God Lord, just let me speak freely, Lord, just let me law what's on my heart. Just bring that out tonight because I really believe there are a lot of people in church, jumping from church to church, religious to religion, situation, church, to church place to place, all of that we've all done it. We've all been engaged in that sort of thing, and still lost in certain churches just trying to find the peace, trying to find that place of rest. God is your rest It doesn't matter what church wherever you go to God is your rest. Will we find complete comfort in in church January? I really don't know because church is made up of the system of life of all types and all situations. But there is one place that I will you will find rest. And I believe God is calling you to that rest. I believe God is calling you to a place tonight to rest in him. Whatever your circumstances are, however you feel at this moment it says, The Lord is the light of my salvation whom shall I fear? What are you fearful of? What is your greatest fear at this moment? What is your greatest doubt? What is your greatest press that is upon you tonight, do not allow fear to control you do not allow fear to dictate to you do not allow what's happening through the power of Russia, and through the mighty military force that they are trying to flex. And what's happening in the Ukraine. The political disturbance around the globe is huge. We have never seen such a political disturbance, as we are seeing right now. At 10 to eight on this Wednesday evening. I don't even know what the date is. I'm not even sure I know we're in March. I know that much. That's for sure. But whatever the calendar day is at this moment, do not allow the political agenda do not allow the financial markets do not allow your life circumstances to dictate to you. God loves you, God is with you. You can do all things through Christ, that gives you strength do not allow the lack of education do not allow the lack of money do not allow the lack of notoriety do not allow the lack of people do not allow any lack to stop you progressing in your life you will achieve everything that God has called you to achieve purely because he has gone before. But we are looking at this nation we are looking at church we are looking at certain areas of culture and life and every one of us are asking right at this very moment in time. God Where do you want me to be what is the purpose of this life? Many of us have lived years on the earth many of us we're all at different ages in a different stages and a different cultures and a different levels of life. But I do believe I hear the voice. God, what is the purpose? What is the purpose? You know, many people are panicking about a certain superpower waiting to press a certain button. Don't worry about the culture of what is happening in the political arena, when you look at politics has always done this war has always done this, you know, when you look all the way through historical wars and everything, God loves you, but there is a big button or fear more than any other button that you might be thinking of at this moment. You know, our people are crying out worried about are they going to press? Are they going to press it? Are they going to do this are they going to do that? It is the fear of the uncertain things that lie ahead of us that will try and grab us but do not worry. We are in a world we are in a culture that is very robotic, and we are expected to live in a certain asked expected amount of time, we are expected to go to a job and be there for expected amount of time. We are expected to be who we are, who the family wants us to be, who the workplace wants us to be, who the culture has molded us to be who the husband and the wife expects us to be. But there are many people living within a prison and not living behind the bars of what we call prison. There are many people that have made their lifestyle choices, their prison because the lifestyle choices have gone along with family husbands wives, brothers, sister, education, culture, life, workplace and the pressure of the peers, the pressure of family, the pressure of life, the pressure of church, so much pressure is trying to shape you into someone that you are not there are many on the other side of this lens tonight, that should be in different destinations that you are in at this moment in time. That's why I've been asking the question even to myself, God, where do you want me to be? Do you feel that you're in a box? Do you feel that you are limited? Do you feel like you've almost had your wings clipped? Do you feel like you're missing something? Do you feel empty to a degree you're not empty? Because I know that Christ is living within you but the destination or point that we should be at and where we should be at? Is this here? Is that there where you are? We know that the Lord is the light of our salvation. We know that our God has saved us. But there is something else that's added into the mix of salvation. Yes, I become saved. Yes, I become justified Yes, I become sanctified. Yes, I get all that and I have that. But the destination or points where should I be living? Where should I be working? Should I be around the people? I'm around should I be in the lobby? lifestyle that I'm in, there are many people living in lifestyle situations that should not be living in that situation, but have been forced into that. Not because of your own choices, but because of cultural press, cultural waves, tides, and all things that come along with that. But also business choices as well. lifestyle choices, there is so much, but God is calling you out of certain areas of life. We are seeing a lot of people moving around church at this moment it within the church circles, people are moving about China and exploring. And that's great to do. Find a place where you feel comfortable where you feel rested. But will we actually ever feel comfortable and rested in church? I'm not sure yeah, maybe Is there a perfect church church? I don't know. The Lord is the light of my salvation. The Lord is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid? So within that one verse, we have so much depth within that text into the Lord is the light of my salvation. He is your light. I believe someone can check this please for me tonight. Psalm 119. I believe it's verse 115. Your word is a lamp unto my feet a light for my path. If I've got that wrong, I apologize for getting it wrong, but I'm sure it's Psalm 119 115. Please, can you go and check that or someone put it on the text? But I really believe you're the word Your word is a lamp unto my feet a light for my path. Your word in the beginning was the Word. So when we study Christ ology, when we study Christ, when we look at the living Christ, when we look at the living word, he's the Scripture says, Your ways are higher than our ways your thoughts are higher than our thoughts, your ways, are just You are the King of glory. So what I've got to understand is that I've got to be in the Word. Now I can be in the Scripture, I can be in the Bible, but am I in the creator of heaven on earth? I can, I can read the word. But do I know the author, there is so much to get from this text, the Lord is the light of my salvation, of whom shall I fear so we get light, we got salvation, we've got fair and then as we progress down a little bit further, we migrate down in the Texas as the Lord is the stronghold of my life, Whom shall I be afraid? So we have fear, and we have the word afraid, you should not be in fear of anyone, you should not be afraid of anyone, you should be not afraid of any cultural or political agenda. You should not be afraid of what the finance markets look like. We should not be afraid of any situation that is in the world, because what is in the world has already been forecast or shall I bring it to a biblical terminology has already been prophesied? So it's important that I know the King of Glory, that I have this earth and this heavenly relationship with the King of kings and the Lord of lords Your word is a lamp unto my feet a light for my path? Why would the word need to be a light for my path? Why Why does it what light is so critical for you as a human being for you as a believer for you as a follower of Christ? Maybe you're dipping your toe in maybe you are just flicking through the socials now and you come across us here. Got there we go. Someone's just put it up Psalm 119 105. Um, so thank you for correcting and show me that Psalm 119 105, maybe someone copy and paste that and put that on there and have a read of that and speak about it on the socials. Just God is with you. It is critical. It is important. It is just that you realize who you are in Christ Jesus, You are unique. God loves you in your most unusual time. God is doing unusual things with unusual people in unusual circumstances. It is not as the Church says it is not as religious religion says, God is always doing something different to what the worldly church is saying, God is using you. God has and he is saving you. God is on a journey with you. You are on a journey with God. The scripture is clear. I'm going to say it again. And again and again. The Lord is the light of my salvation, whom shall I fear the Lord is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid? I will not be afraid of anyone. I will not be afraid of any situation. I will not be afraid of any leader. I will not be afraid of any president. I will not be afraid of any rumors. I will not be a fraud, because he is I've got to remind myself who He is the scripture has gone on the text tonight. We thank God for that. The fear I cannot allow fear, fear a lot. You're talking about fear. That's right. Yeah, I'm so pleased. You're being expressive and you're talking about God, I need to honor you, God, I need to be in your will your purpose, Lord, what is your purpose? It is very difficult for for, let's say very quickly, it's very difficult for us as believers or human beings to find the true purpose of what is the purpose of us living on the earth, take away for a moment without going into too much depth of theological pressing. But what is the purpose of me breathing of living? What what do you want? What do you expect out of me, because the world has really captured so many people and grabbed so many believers, and it has molded them into people and believers, I will use the word believers into someone that they should that they shouldn't be. Church has got the grip on us, church, religion has grabbed us, and it has tried to mold us and adapt us. And that's why we are feeling very uncomfortable. I wonder how many people are feeling very uncomfortable, even questioning God even questioning the scriptures? God, if this is it, what the church looks like, at the moment, I actually don't want it is that I'm bold enough to say to you tonight, and I know that when I look at the platform of the church across the UK, God is this the church, if this is the church, I'd rather go back to digging holes, I'd rather go back to laying bricks. And that's quite interesting, you know, my background, and I'm talking about the Pharaoh scenario as well. Because if if I look into religion and church and if I look at that too long, I get disturbed because I think to myself, This is not what the Scriptures are telling me. This is not how it's meant to be. So when we talk openly and when we talk purposely and when we are honest and authentic and we are true to ourselves. Freedom abounds when I speak the truth when I when I lay everything out across the mics and say God help me Lord, I might be the pastor here I might be the whatever title they got on me. But Lord, firstly, I am a son of yours. I belong to Jesus and Lord, I need to know what is the purpose for my life? What is the purpose for me breathing? What is the reason that you created me and put me on this earth? Why am I here in him Swanee? Why do I work? Why do I minister in the areas? Am I administrating them areas? Because I want to administer their Lord? Is it for my glory? Or is it for your glory? Is it for my purpose? Is it for your purpose? So when I read text that we are reading tonight, the Lord is the light of my salvation? Whom shall I fear the Lord is the stronghold of my life? Who shall I be afraid? Now as we approach verse two, it says, when the wicked advance against me to devour me, do you feel that there that the world is trying to to grab you? Do you feel that the world is almost trying to eat you, as the scripture says, devour you, and almost pull you in pieces that you feel that wherever you go, that you are being stretched, and you are being drawn? And you are almost being dragged to the point of kicking and screaming and thinking, God, I can't go into that? What is it? Are you picking? And Are you sensing that there's something in the atmosphere in the layers of life? Are you picking stuff up in your spirit, thinking their sight gritty about life, something doesn't fit. When you look at the Scripture, you know, there is the spiritual atmosphere is very strong. The spiritual atmosphere is quiet. It is very powerful at the moment, there are people that are not even believers, sensing and picking up there's there's things happening in that's not right there are they're picking up certain things because we are a created by God and for God. And God is with you. What amazes me at this moment in time, there are many that don't realize that they are going and are going to about to receive salvation, not even interested in church, not even approaching church, but on the timeline of God's grace and mercy. And on the timeline of what he has for them. They're reaching that place where their body in their physical them is going to experience the supernatural God. Not that they are looking for him not that they are choosing him not they are looking to be a Christian whatsoever because God comes to us. God presents itself to us. That's why they This is so important. He says, The Lord is the light of my salvation, whom shall I fear the Lord is a strong word of my life, Who shall I be afraid when the wicked of violence against me to devour me, it is my enemies and foes who will stumble and fall, keep in God, keep in the word, keep in the Scripture, keep in that posture of prayer, you might even be in that posture. And you might even be in that position of saying, I'm almost prayed out, I'm almost exhausted my prayer life, I've almost come to the end of me, that is a critical, critical place to come to, I have come to the end of me. When I come to the end of me, when I reached the end of me, it's like handing over the the loaves and the fish. We don't have enough to feed this audience. We don't have enough wages. It's getting dark. There's no shops, there's no way of feeding. It's it's handing over. I believe that, that there are so many of us, that are hungry for Jesus, that are almost disturbed in our spiritual walk, because of what we see within religion, what we see denominations deciding to say and to do, and it's almost becoming an a frustration and an a boiling point, I believe God is chiseling. I believe God is shaping. I believe that you are clay in the Masters hands. And he has a beautiful purpose for you tonight. And he has always had a beautiful purpose for you tonight. Because He is the light of your salvation. He saved you. He set you free. Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty, there is liberty in you around you. And upon you put the world wants to chain you down. But you are free from any chain. You are free from any bondage of the world. The Scripture puts it so beautifully. The snare, the snare, the snare layers, I believe that you got many snare layers. I believe that you got many around you trying to trap you for cultural trends for the hashtag of life for situations that you're facing through workplace issues. Are you working in the right environment? Are you living in the right postcode? Are you in the right church? Are you in the right University? Are you at that place where God wants you to be? It is such a difficult question to answer. When we have been herded. We live in a society that hurts us church hurts us. Religion hurts us. The bigger the crowd, the more Jesus is working. The bigger the church more Jesus is in that it's rubbish. It's not correct. Christ is in that secret place. I believe Christ has left the big denominations. I believe Christ has left the big, enormous stadium setups. I believe that there are many looking for that feel good that fix that that adrenaline rush that that showman that that that showy, that theatrical performance that we've looked at for so many years, as we sat back in the church seats, and we've watched the performance of church, I believe that is so important to reference the scripture where it says God, the presence of God left Solomon's temple, God exited God left through the east gate. God God extracted God moved himself, the chairman's the angels, they moved themselves out when man comes in. God moved out man was in four corners of that place, the leaders it talks about it talks about the leaders, it talks about the ones that was in the four corners of God's temple, but but when they started bringing their own stuff in, I honestly believe when when man brings his own stuff in. It's quite a brutal thing to say, but I would say it, God leaves the building. We are living at a place where not God when I say God has left. I think it's probably best that I reference Genesis, when Adam and Eve suddenly realized that they was naked and they had sinned, and they their eyes were open. The Bible says that they hid themselves. And the Bible says in Genesis, God walked in the call of the garden. He walked in the call of the garden, and he called out Adam, where are you? God knew where Adam was. God knew that Adam was hired him. God knows where we are. God walks in the cornice of the Garden of Eden. And he the Scripture is beautiful the way that he's put God walked in. God is walking within the UK. God has not left the UK, God hasn't removed himself from the UK. What has happened is the UK has removed itself from the Word of God. And over tides of time, over generations of generations very gradually, very purposely very meaningly. Politics and leaders and government officials, because we see this for two generations and we say for scriptures, it is coming out is coming out, it is coming out. That is very clear to see, even now, denominations have left God. Now, that's not to say that God has left the denomination. But it's to say that the denomination has left God purely by his teachings purely by its bending of the Scripture purely by its manipulating way that it is God has not left this nation. God is walking in the call of the garden. He says, I will never leave you nor forsake you. His word is just his word is perfect. His ways are just He has not left you, He will never leave you. He is as the psalmist writes, The Lord is the light of my salvation, whom shall I fear? You shall not fear no one, but your anxious moments, your anxious thoughts. There are many people in relationships, there are many people in universities, there are many people in homes, many people in lifestyle choices that we have made that we shouldn't have made that lifestyle choice. Now God did not leave us in that lifestyle choice. We may have left God we have Mark may have gone down the flesh road that walk road, but he is still with us. He is still with you. God is with you to the very end of this age. I love the fact that the scripture says He who began a good working you will bring it to completion. He who began he began a good work in you. He began the good work in me before the foundation of the world you were saved. You were washed in the blood of Jesus, He placed your name in the Lamb's book of life. He loves you beyond human understanding. And I just want to emphasize I just want to hang around this scripture tonight. The Lord is the light of my salvation. The Lord is your light, if you was to take time, and to study the word light, and to see how many times it arises in Genesis all the way through to Revelation. If you see how many times the word of God references references the word light, if you see how the word speaks about light, how it mentions it, how it pronounces it, how the Scripture pronounces the word and as you read it, light is powerful. Lights will guide guide you in the dark path. Your word is a lamp unto my feet, a light for my path. The Scripture says, Oh God, a Christ says, I am the light of the world. He is the light of the world. In the beginning, God said that He created the heavens and the earth, and the fullness thereof. And then suddenly we see this great creation, this this this great God that we serve on what we've He said, Let there be light. And there was when you look at creation, He created light. But then it speaks about light and dark, light and dark, light and dark. He says he separated and he separated light from darkness. And he created day and he created evening. If there is something powerful about life, your word is a lamp unto my feet. What does a lamp do? It lights, it brightens up. It shines. It makes your way in the darkness God makes away in the darkness. I can I'm going to say again, when I was in my darkest moment of life. The light of the living God came into that dark venue that light came into that dark place, and that light penetrate my very being. And that light took me from that dark place and the hand of God gripped me. And before he gripped me, he saved me because the scripture says while I was a sinner, God demonstrated His own love for us. Now it turned to Romans chapter eight verse one. What does it say? In Romans chapter eight, verse one, there is now no condemnation for those that are in Christ Jesus. My history was now to the cross a Calvary, my present is now to the cross of Calvary, my destiny, my future sin I'm referring to is now to the cross of Calvary. There are too many people in culture in life, that are trying to dictate to you of how you should live and who you and I should be. Religion can be the most damaging press anyone can ever have in a world. Because while I was in the world, I knew nothing more than just the world. But when I come over through the power of salvation, when I leave the physical world, and suddenly I realize that the physical world exists, and the spiritual world is even stronger than what I see on this natural world, I enter into a world called church. And church has damaged more people, because of the way that it is looked down. And I'm not talking about the Church of Jesus Christ, we must make the clear, defining word here, the body of Christ is the church I'm when I talk about the church, I'm talking about religion, and establishments, the establishment can damage the believer in a roundabout way, not saying that you we won't be recovered, and we haven't been recovered. But when I understand that the Lord is the light of my salvation, whom shall I fear? I understand that salvation is completely in Christ, hope is completely in Christ, eternity, and everything, of the fullness or of is in Christ, everything is in Christ. The Bible says, Christ is the head of the body, which is the church, he is the head, there is no human being. There are heads of ministers denominations, I get that I understand the structure, what the apostles put in place, what the early church put in place, I understand that. And I really appreciate that. And I walked with that, and I studied that I see the greatness and the power of God working in that. But what I also see another word that is at work, and that work is religion, and I believe religion has tried to capture you too long. I believe religion has tried to squash you. I believe pastors in the past have tried to, to narrow you down because they see you moving in the world. I believe that that pastors are God, I gotta be really careful, I got to be so careful, Lord, Elmyra. Our presenters, I got to be so careful, God. I believe that there has been many, within the pulpit, within music ministry, within teaching within the the bracket of church, that have tried and almost and has stopped you to this point of of, of growing, I would say, in Christ, not because Christ has not had the strength to deal with it. But there is there is something very powerful, that there's the mystery of the gospel of Christ. See, we get caught in religion, we get caught in the rhetoric of stuff we get caught in this stuff of living in life and, and what can happen, we can get trapped in religion, we can get trapped in church, and that can be a stumbling block, when the kingdom of God, what does the Scripture say? It says, Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness. Seek ye first the kingdom of God, the king's domain, the king's plan, the king's area, the king's choice for you. And for me, there's something great about what's happening across the globe. Excuse me. Gosh, I love coffee too much, Jesus, there is something great that's happening to culture and life at this moment. I feel like I sense that, that what's happening there is there is freedom. But amongst the freedom there is there is a bit of a hole back there is there is a bit of a hole back because not now is the time to cross into the promised land. Now is the time to cross over the Jordan. Now I'm either gonna cross over to what God is calling me to, or I'm gonna I'm gonna stay with the group that will stay on the wrong side of the Jordan there is there is many that will that will not see the promises and will not experience the fullness that God has purely because now now I've saying look, I'm going to take a leap of faith. God has called God is calling. But there are many sitting on the banks of the Jordan sitting on the banks of the Jordan. There are many that want to go back to Pharaoh, there are many fighting their way back to go and bake bricks for Pharaoh. But there's a remnant. There's a there's a, there's a press out there. And there's many out there that are tired of ministry, tired of looking at ministry, trying different ministries, trying different churches, trying different denominations trying this, trying that looking at this, looking at that, that have lit literally come to a point in their walk in eternity walking with God walking with Christ, the Messiah, and are actually at a place looking around doing a 360 turn and thinking God, there has to be more. Because if this is it, what I see here, and they're and they're and they're, if if I stay here, I will drown. I believe there are many drowning in their own ministry, I believe there are many drowning in, in church, I believe there are many drowning in religion, because they are frightened to take that leap of faith to to break out of the box to break out of tribal, there is a lot of tribal stuff as well within religion and church, there is a lot of an addictive way to ministry there, there is a lot within the Pentecostal movement. And within the evangelical movement that is following trends of historical trends. When when God is doing new things, God is doing new things. He is always doing new things. We do not look at God and go, Oh, God is the God of he's gonna do that. Because he done that before God is doing new things. God is moving very differently. And God is calling you a fresh, I believe that there is a fresh calling on your life. I believe there is a fresh move the Holy Spirit. And I believe in Psalm 27. Tonight, I believe in Psalm 27, that God is calling you. And I just want to let you know that the Lord is the light of your salvation, the most important area of my life, the most important thing that I could ever grasp, that I could need to understand is that I am saved. And I believe that's for you tonight you are so there are many wrestling with salvation. There are cultures out there that actually think there are teachers out there that actually teach that you can lose your salvation, salvation cannot be lost. It cannot be lost. It cannot there is no scripture that can support it. You know, you can spend a lifetime trying to back this around. There are cultures, there are churches, there are ministries, put in believers under churchy threat, that you could lose it, if you don't perform works as brought into it performance, given the time of the offering that that you got to give that you are all this sort of stuff. When when God is calling you simply to this, you are a daughter, and you are a son of the living God. That is it. You are saved. That is it. But church is trying to get us to live and to perform and to operate. But I do believe there is a fresh breath of fresh move so much you can feel the very air of God breathing over the UK. But we are thinking and we may be looking very differently. God what I and it's almost bringing a pause to our conversation. It's almost bringing a pause to our life. But God if this is it, it can't be it because if it's it, I actually go one it because it and the label of church doesn't line up with this. This is very different to this. So there is there is like a wave locker, a shake in amongst the church and on culture and in life and politics is being shaken up where I believe God is shaking this nation. Many people are feeling very uncomfortable at work. People are feeling very uncomfortable in church in life because God is shaking us. But he just wants us to know tonight that He is the light of your salvation. He is your salvation. So as the psalmist writes, He is the light of my salvation. When you Think about light, and then you put light with salvation. And you look as what John said on the island of Patmos, I felt as if I was dead, because as I turned and as I saw the one like the sun, when I look, when I looked his brilliance, his brightness was so powerful. The human eye could not stand, the brightness. It was like blazing fire. His hair was just so powerful, his sash around his waist. His robe was so pure and bright, his brilliance was so strong, I felt as if I was dead, select is so powerful from God, salvation. So like, when you when you look at this first verse, you know, there is so much depth in Psalm 27, verse one, the Lord is the light of my salvation whom shall I fear? Light can blind us. Light can guide us, light can when you look at a lightning bolt, when you look at the power of a lightning bolt, when you look at the power of the brilliance of a sunrise. When you look at the power and the brilliance and the purity of the Holy God that we serve, how can we honestly say, how can how can the church honestly say that if God shows up in his full brilliance, I will be jumping up and down and Absolutely. Just staring at him like the light of God is so powerful, it will put a human being on the floor. Because that when you look at light when you look at salvation, and then you bring holiness into the text, holiness is so powerful, is so strong, is so brilliant in the brightness of its strength. You know, it will literally it will do what it done to John on the island of Patmos. It will put me to the floor, the brilliance of his shining of His glory, the power of that light, the beautiful presence of His Holiness. God, I believe the church has been stirred so much. I believe you are being stirred so much. And I believe I am being stirred like I've never been stirred before. I believe we are being stripped back like we've never been stripped back before. But you know what, this is a great time to be alive. This is a beautiful time to be alive. So when you look at Psalm 27, the Lord is the light of my salvation, whom shall I fear there is no one for you to be fearful of. The joy of the Lord is my strength. You have everything to live for everything to live for in Jesus, I believe Christ is and is about to take you to destinations that you never thought possible. I believe there is like a migration of believers, I believe that we are about to see a migration of believers moving, changing homes, changing jobs, changing destination all points at this moment in time, because God is shaking, and God is calling. I believe God is moving and placing and dealing. We are living in very powerful times. But the kingdom of God is everywhere. The kingdom of God is within but His Holiness, the rough of God. God's judgment, God's order, his sovereignty, His power, His glory, the the doctrines of grace. How often do we hear the church with in the UK, talking about the doctrines? The foundational points, the blood of Jesus, His Holiness, the power of His Word, the birth, the death, the resurrection? The church just put, I'm going to be a bit flippant. The church pulls him out at Easter. You know what I'm saying? The church pulls the cart out of Christmas. That is terrible to white. And I'm tired of living to that pattern. So there is a breakout moment. You know, it's like Hot Cross than Christianity, when the Hot Cross bank comes out, it's Easter, you know, Lent, all that sort of stuff. I thought, why do I fast? I fast because the scripture tells me so I don't fast because it's a trend in the church calendar. I don't abstain from let me say Chatelet because I don't abstain. I fast because my God is calling me into a place of fasting and calling me into a place of prayer. Because the Scripture is speaking to me. But we are in a crowd and we are in a religious press. Now. It's Len, it's this month is this hour, it's this moment, you must do because there is a great awakening. There is a great stirring. And I'm going to put it like this almost a rebellion against religion, almost a rebellion against the trend, and a culture of what was and there are many standing up in church going, I am not having it. I am pressing and I am seeking my God. I'm going to fast when he calls me too fast. I fasting. When was we? When do we hear a great study on fasting and prayer and and when leaders leaders in denominations where are the leaders someone, Shao and tell me, Ben, you've got it wrong, open your eyes. This is happening. This is happening here. The leaders of this denomination at the top are teaching proper fasting and prayer. They are on the word they are without error. They are preaching the gospel, hellfire and damnation, salvation. Please, god help me help me, Lord. Help me Jesus. But I believe I'll put it like this. And we're running over time drastic. There's almost a rebellion. I will put it I'll say like this. There's a Joshua and Caleb movement at this moment. You're bringing the Babri, Paul, but add God is able. You're telling us that you think that we're grasshoppers in that site. I am not a grasshopper. I am a son. And I am a daughter of the living God. And I'm in a breakout position at this moment. But I think the breakout position at the moment is feeling very strong. And it's almost feeling very foreign to many believers. Because you feel that you are going against the stream of church, not the stream of life, not the stream of the world, but the stream of religion and certain ministries, and you're almost pushing back where we was captured. And we went along with the tide and the wave of that. Now we are going hang on. I'm not having it. That is not word, because God is taken the scowls of Avize God is revealing, God is moving. God is shaking the church in the UK. Thanks be to God that you are shaking. So Lord, I thank you in closing this, the Lord is the light of my salvation, my salvation. The Lord is not the church, not religion, not me as pastors and leaders, The Lord is my light. Let's read it one more time. The Lord is my light and my salvation whom shall I fear? He is, he is your Jehovah Jireh he is your Jehovah Nissi he is your Jehovah Shalom. He is your King. He is your Redeemer. He The scripture says He will rescue you. Do I need rescuing from the world? Well, actually, I was saved from the world. What I actually need is rescuing. From the rat trick. What I need is rescuing from this bubble of church this this pink and fluffy church. I need ref rescuing from religion. And this bubble Oh god, I got to get out the bubble. Lord, I need kingdom. I need the king's domain. And I believe what that stirring is there is a hunger. God has like stirred a hunger and many of you got to start a hunger in many of you. God is stirring your innermost being and it feels foreign. It feels strange. It feels as if you're being rebellious to God. You're not rebellious to God. God is drawing you and God is drawing me and God is saying enough is enough. And that's it. There is a fresh move. There is a mighty move. And it's not worth the waving of flags. It's not with the barking like dogs. It's not the rolling around on the floor, kicking your legs up in the air screaming and hollering. Jesus loves me. It is the simple fact that God is saying, I am saving you. And I'm not referring salvation, I'm saving you from the trappings of religion, the trapping of ministry, the trapping of the rhetoric of the process, and the crowd of church. It's not the world we've got to worry about. It's literally religion, trying to grab the Pharisees and the Sadducees, trying to mold you into someone you're not. And that radical feeling that you're pressing against God, you're not pressing against God, you are actually walking with God. Because when you study Christ, Christ was always pressed, he will always go in into the crowd. He wasn't never found to be manipulated by the crowd. The crowd pushed him and shoved him and tried to. But Christ was always on a journey. It was his journey. But the crowd is trying to trap you. And the crowd is trying to trap me not the crowd of the world, because we are free of the world. Now we need to ask God made me wise, Give me this sermon, to break me out of the crowd. Not the crowd of the world, but the crowd of religion, and ministry, and church, and the very robotic way that shirt has been. There's a feeling of almost rebellion inside, but it's not rebellion against God. It's a hunger for God. And it's the feeling of God. I feel strange, I feel different. I don't fit in. You wasn't created to fit in. You are different. Thank you for joining us tonight. Wherever you are, across the world. My God bless you and strengthen you to handle God is on us. Find the teachings of our good brother Steve Simon Sondra in the persecuted church, Chris Mellon, Brian Greenaway it's terrible when I start mentioning names because I forget, because my memory is terrible for names and I shouldn't mention names. And you will find great men and women who know online, in line in church out of church, you know, just you know, we we are living in a very powerful time. But we've got to be very careful of the digital digital age that we are in. Because the digital age is powerful. But the digital age could almost ostracize us as well. So we got to make sure that we are getting into the physical church, the very building of church. But also we got to understand that this has its purpose is that meaning, but it's not everything. So I pray that wherever you are, thank you so much for sharing all this stuff. But it's not everything. It's not everything. And God bless you and strengthen you. May God just give you peace tonight.
