Morning. Good morning, wherever you are across the earth, my God bless you and strengthen you. We thank you so much for joining us this morning here for coffee and prayer. The time here this morning is nine to 539. Somewhere around about there. Whatever the time may be in your world. We're welcoming this morning. Thank you for joining us you're joining and in your joining Donny and you're joining myself, Reverend Ben Cooper as we gather for coffee and prayer. And for all those that are in the world of the podcast in the platforms, the many different areas that we are streaming on and streaming through. We thank you for sharing everything out. But let's just gather our thoughts. You can find us on Buzzsprout, Spotify, I Heart Radio, Amazon music, and so many other places. But Welcome this morning. Grab yourself some coffee. We are going to have communion very, very soon. In about 35 minutes or thereabout. Good morning to everybody across the earth at this moment in time. We're going to go straight to Psalm 62. Psalm 62 verse one, through two to two simple verses I have before me, I really believe in the power of salvation. I really believe that God is speaking very clearly, to us to you wherever you are today that just reminding ourselves that we are saved, that we are children of the living God and wherever you are across the earth, God has you and you are wrapped up in His mercy and His love and His goodness, sanctification, justification, God is with you wherever you are today. Welcome. You. Thank you for joining us. Good morning to everybody online this morning. Psalm 62 Verse one truly my soul finds rest in God. I just want to let you know this morning God had you wherever you are in your life, whatever your footstep is this morning, whatever your press on the world is wherever you are walking the terra firma this morning. God is for you and not against you. But you may need rest this morning. But the scripture says the psalmist writes in Psalm 62 truly my soul finds rest in God my salvation comes from Him. Truly He is my rock and my salvation. He is my fortress, I shall never be shaken. He is the King of kings. And he is the Lord of lords. And as we come to prayer this morning as we rest, as we be still as we know that He is the God of all things the creator of heaven and earth. I pray this morning for your family or friends. Whatever your situation is today, whether you're in faith out of faith looking in to Christianity, you know God has called you even before you decided to say, I think I will be a disciple I think I will be a follower of Jesus Christ. Your God is for you. But right now Psalm 62 verse one, truly my soul finds rest in God. Are you looking for rest today? He is the WAY the TRUTH and the LIFE No one comes to the Father except through Him. He is your salvation. He is your rock. He is your fortress, he is your God He is your King and truly he is the psalmist writes my rock my salvation. He is my fortress. He makes three clear statements so loud and so bold, and so powerful. Truly, He is my rock, he is your rock and he is your salvation. So wherever you are today, do not worry about your life. Do not worry. Look at what the Word of God says Do not worry. Look at the birds in the air. He says through the through the New Testament. Look, Look at the lilies of the field. They don't labor they don't. They don't do this. They don't do that. But he clothes he he he guides He strengthens He heals he set the captives free. He put the stars in the heavens, God is your rest. God is your strength God is your King. And God is for you, Jehovah Jireh What a beautiful word that is Jehovah. You know he's got his sovereign he is all God he is all king. He is the yes and he is the Amen of your life. But do you need rest today? Are you feeling a bit uncertain about just general life today? Are you feeling a bit downtrodden today? Do you feel a bit weary today they should they started off really bad as something really happened it was really just got your your backup got your feathers ruffled or what is going on in your life today God is for you. He is not against you. And also let's just remind ourselves of Romans chapter eight verse one, there is now no condemnation for those that are in Christ Jesus, we are in Christ and we just really need to remind ourselves that he drew has drew us sorry, he he brought I sit in here he guided us in he, he drew us in, you know, it's not about coming to the religious box. It's not about coming into to the church and jumping up and down for a few hours a week. It's about understanding that Jesus is your God. He is your King Christ is your Savior. He is your Redeemer. He is your rock. He is as the psalmist in Psalm 62. And we had a very brief overlay on that the other night in communion, and prayer, but it says, Truly my soul finds rest in God there is nowhere else other than the Word of God that we will find rest. There is nowhere else other than the Lamb of God, there is nowhere else other than the Messiah, there is nowhere else Father in the name of Jesus as we come to prayer this morning. We thank you for the psalmist Psalm 62 verses one through two truly my soul finds rest in God, my salvation comes from Him. He is He is my fortress, I shall never be shaken. Lord, I thank you that we will never be shaken Lord, that we will not be fearful we will not worry, Lord, there is nothing in this world for us to be afraid of. But right now, Lord, as we come before our garden, our King Lord as we're here, Lord, in this week it Lord as the calendar says, Lord of the Church says, religion says Holy Week, Lord, as we come before you, Lord, we thank you for Palm Sunday. We thank you for the events that are going on, but Lord above all the events that are going on, above all the activity above everything, Lord, we want to thank you that we are saved, that we are saved, Lord, that we are saved, Lord, if we haven't been involved in the word Lent Lord, if we haven't done this, we haven't done that, Lord, we thank You that has no forbearance on our salvation we were saying, Before the first human being spoke the word Lent. We were saved even before the first church fast and we were saved. Before the very beginning of the world. We were saved, Lord, because you saved us. You tell us, Lord very clearly in the Old Testament, before the foundations of the world you was, you was Lord, that we was that we was in your plan. We was in the focus. We was in the redemption plan. And I pray, Lord, that over this week, we will understand Lord what the word redeem means, Lord, that we will understand that we are the children of the redemption, that we are washed in the blood of Jesus, that our sins are forgiven, Lord, our historical sins are gone. Our present day, Lord, and what lies ahead, Father, thank You for the free nails of Calvary. I thank you for the free nouns of Calvary Lord and one Lord represented Lord, my historical sin. The second one Lord represents my present day and moment sin, Lord, and right now, Lord, the third one Lord represents what I even haven't walked into yet Lord has been now to the cross of Calvary. So Lord, I thank You, Lord, that my past my my present Lord, the parochial stretch of my life now Lord has been now to the cross. My future sin has also been now to the cross. You see, my sin, you see my failings. You see, Lord, all the idiosyncrasies, you see the issues, you see the troubles, Lord, you see the strife, you see the pain, Lord, You tell us very clearly in the book of Isiah, Lord that you was crushed father you was put on that across Lord for our iniquity, Lord, we thank You, Father, that everything was upon the King of kings and the Lord of lords. And this morning, Lord, that we are free not because of Lent, not because of the action of the church. We are, we are free because of the Messiah, we are free, because our God we are free this morning because of our King. We are free because of the Lamb of God, we are free because of the blood of the living Christ. We thank you that we serve a God that causes things that are not We thank you that our God rolled the stone away. We thank you that our God breathed life into the sun and the sun rose on the third day. Lord, we thank You, Lord, that no grave can hold him no devil in hell can capture him. We thank you that our God is the living word. We thank you that our God will never fail us. We thank you that our God will never let us go, Lord, that you will never leave us as orphans. We thank You, Lord, that our salvation isn't dependent on religion and church. We thank you that our salvation Lord isn't dictated to us. Lord, we thank you that our salvation isn't given that that carrot father got that golden nugget dangled by the church father, our salvation is secure. Our salvation is given law because the gift of salvation and Lord this morning, as the psalmist writes in Psalm 6262, sorry, truly my soul finds rest in God my salvation comes from him. I am saved because of him. You are chosen because of him. You are blessed because of him. You are going through everything that you're going through because of him, he is your God. He is your King and I pray this morning that wherever you are across the earth, whatever your timezone is, whatever your lifestyle is, whatever your situations are, just remind yourself that I am a son and the daughter of the living God and my God is for me, and if God is for me, who can be against me, so Out of the living God, we pray today Lord, that Father You will come Lord and just refresh us and restore us. Lord, we thank you that there is power in the name of Jesus and this morning, pour out Your Spirit upon us today. Lord, thank you pour out Your Spirit on us today. Lord, Father, Lord, let us feel the love of God. All those that feel lonely, all those loads that feel depressed, all those father that feel suicidal, or those that just feel really down and really low in themselves. Father, we just asked you that you will touch them and bless them and strengthen them. Let healing be a bound Lord on their hearts today. Father, we pray for those that feel just tired in their body, Lord, their minds are exhausted, their thinking is gone. Everything just seems to have dropped out of the bucket of life father, just restored them Lord Jesus, because Lord, You are the God that restores that. You are the Lord that he left the You are the Lord that bring us to the Lord, You are our guide, you are our strength. Lord, we pray this morning for hope. We pray for the power of the love of God, we thank you that the word is yes and amen. But this morning, Lord in all things, all things are possible. To those who believe we are believing for miracles. We are standing on the Word of God, we trust you in all things. Lord, we do not lean on our own understanding this morning, but Lord in all our ways. We surrender to God in all our ways. Because, Lord, we thank you for what's happening in church at this moment this week. We thank you for what's going on and what's being recognized. But Lord, my salvation is secure in Christ. My salvation is secure in God, my salvation has been secured, because of redemption, my salvation Lord. And when I say my, I'm referring to all of us right now in the name of Jesus on the stretch of my voice, whether it's podcasting, whether it's live streaming, whether it's my brothers before us, whoever is around us at this moment, Lord, if our God is Forrest, who can be against us, but this morning, I pray for all those Lords that are thinking upon the word salvation, or those that are thinking upon certain areas of life that are worried about historical events that have taken place, worried about stuff that may be hidden, worried about stuff that's, that's not quite right in our lives. Lord, I thank you that you see through that, Lord, that you are calling us every day. And Lord before I even made bad lifestyle choices, you saved me. Before I even said that silly thing before I even acted and done that sinful act law before I even spoke that terrible word before. Lord, I didn't even forgive that person before Lord, before and before and that continuum of just being a human being I thank You, Lord, that You saved me in the name of Jesus than I am washed in the blood of the Messiah, that I am a child of the living God. There is nothing too great for our God. He is the healer. He is the restorer. He is the Redeemer, he is your God and He is your King, and he loves you unconditionally. You know, Psalm 62, verse one, as I hand over to my brothers this morning, truly my soul finds rest in God, my salvation comes from Him. Truly, He is my rock and my salvation. He is my fortress, I shall never be shaken, I will never be shaken. I will never be turned away by my God. I will. He is, he is he is and he is, and he has saved you. May God bless you this morning. You know, you may be doubting your salvation, you may be doubting yourself. You may be thinking of so many things this morning, but God has saved you. He has sent His one and only begotten Son to give you a hope and a future. And as we're in the scripture this morning, as Andy and Donnie will carry on. And this prayer on coffee we just say thank you, Lord for our salvation. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Lord, thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lauren. wonderful guy. Oh,
Donny Stockburn:just like the lead you to a piece of scripture. It's in Mark 14. Yes. Verses 30 to come down to 36. It's, it's probably, for me anyways, one of the most emotional. Third set of verses that I've read in the Bible is the time when Jesus has been almost arrested. It's his last hours with his disciples, and is praying, like he's never prayed before in his life, probably. And surrounded by his greatest fear, Jesus pride, and when asked what it's about, so I'm gonna read kokai then I came to a place which was nine gifts. 70. And he said to his disciples, Sit here a while, while I pray. And he took Peter, James and John with him, and he began to be troubled and deeply distressed. Yes. Then he said to them, My soul is exceedingly so Before even to death, stay over watch with me. He went a little farther. And he fell down on the ground. And he prayed that if it was possible, the owl might be passed from him. And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Take this cup away from me, nevertheless, not what I will, that you will. For me, that's the greatest prayer Jesus ever applied. He taught us despite the same thing. And so thought, Let us pray. Jesus, let us pray your will, with no fathers, perfect will. And that very, you can't play any better than in God's will. The other day, I was pine in a situation, a domestic one. And I didn't know which way to go. I just really didn't know. I'll pray for one. And it didn't seem right with the other and so on and so forth. I was stuck in prayer. And suddenly this first chapter came to me and, and it said, Pray the Father's will pay the Father's Will in there. And the minute I said that, thank you to follow, I pray that Your will be done in family, everything that was lifted off me, I felt a peace come about me. And Lord, I just pray now, as we go on, praying with lots of prayer warriors out there. But when you're praying, start praying the Father's Will in Yes, Lord, start trying to Father's will. If you can't pray for any great thing to know that God's will be done in this situation or that situation. I could pray for anything like that. I could pray for the person who I met yesterday who's grieving and sorrowful, the will of God will be done in that person's life. What appeared to pray, i can't get any better than that. And we could pray for nations like Africa follow common Lord Your will be done in Africa, yes, far across the nation slot in in those places, in those cities, where it is destitution, and sickness and illness and, and all kinds of evil Lord, this private follow your will be done in that place. Let your will come let your your will be done their Lord and we may not know it, we may be surrounded by fears and troubles and hearing of issues and stuff we face ourselves. Prayer was gonna be father, die will be done because peace comes when you know it's God's will can't reach any higher place in a prayer life than to pray God's will in and followed. So we pray I'm gonna pray for Glenn now usually here with us he's he's got serious stomach issue that keeps coming and specially when he's got a lot of work on so far. We just pray for our brother Glen, we ask You, Lord, that your will will be done in his life. We pray that Your Will we will be done in that situation in the stomach LULAC causes in so much grief, that your will be done. We know your will, is a will of love and will of overcoming such things as that Father God, so we have peace in point. Now I will be done in Glen, Lord, rescue him from that sickness, in Jesus name, Father, which is lifted up to you. All those we know and all those wieviel places in the world that come it Lord, we fill out we want to get on our knees and pray like Jesus did. And, Lord, it just put that prayer into our mouth that went into his mouth. Like kingdom come, Father, not my will. Not even Jesus will, but the Father's will. The Father's will. Let it come let it be done in me. And once he prayed that the battle was over. And Father God, we just pray that you will put that into our souls and spirits in our prayer life, Father God, the aim is that the Father's will be done in this earth. And that was the prayer Jesus taught, die will be done. Nice Kingdom Come on His earth. And Father God. We pray that prayer into every situation that we have Lord, and our families issues Lord, it was in in with Russia and Ukraine Lord, things like that followed I will come Thy will be done in that nation. Lord, let thy will come. Let our will be done. In that place. follow God. And all we ask You, Lord, to do just by your spirit. Leaders Father God in those prayers for those people we know personally, each one of us Lord, in in our families, Father God that your spirit will put the words in our mouths Father God what to pray, but above it all, Lord, put it in our hearts that we are praying in the will of Father God. Yes. Everything that that means Lord, we ask it in Jesus name farlan Amen. Amen. Thank
Reverend Ben Cooper:you Father for your well thank you for your plan, Lord. Thank You Lord for the Garden of Gethsemane, Lord, thank You Father, Father,
Donny Stockburn:good Lord, keep
Reverend Ben Cooper:us in place Lord of where we cry. Why not Lord, the will of the Father Lord, what did your perfect will for our lives Lord? Come, Lord, refresh us Lord restored in the garden today, Lord, as we seek Lord the kingdom of God as we seek the Lord as we look for the Lord as we, as we rest in the Lord, we just come to you this morning and say, Lord, let your will be done, Father, let your glory just descend upon us, Lord, draw us into paths of righteousness. But Lord, as we seek the path for our own individual lives as we seek the path, Lord, that you are calling us to walk on, Father, give us the grace. Lord, give us the Mercy give us the vision, Lord, give us Lord God, the wisdom to see the way forward Lord, Father, as it seems quite rocky Lord in bits and a momentary Lord, situations of life. Just come, Lord and refresh us. Make away Lord for all those that just can't see a way forward, Lord, because it's the will of the Father, Lord, Lord, we understand that the will of the Father can be like looking at a blank wall, a blank canvas, because your ways are higher than our ways. Your thoughts are beyond our thoughts, Lord, and as far as the the yeast is from the west, as far as the heavens are from the floor, go, That's how far along nothing, nothing lord, we cannot grasp it. We cannot understand it, Lord, we cannot work out the mechanism. Lord, we cannot work it through mathematics. We cannot philosophize our way forward. But Lord what we need to do is to walk by faith. So Lord, I pray, Lord, for all of us that may be just failing, feeling a little bit faith less this morning, Lord, that we just may be just down a bit, Lord bit washed out a bit weary Lord, Come Holy Spirit. We thank You that You are the comforter. You are the restorer. You are the healer. You are the great fans will thank you. The Father's will, yes, we pray the fathers willing to die alone. We pray that will we pray that we'll that perfect will into our lifelong calm Lord, refresh us today. Jesus, please, Lord. Thank You. Thank You, Holy Spirit. Thank you, Father. Blessings upon us today. Lord, mercy, let your mercy shine on us today, Lord. Thank You, Jesus. Thank You, Lord.
Andy Hammond:Can I just come back to Scripture, there's just probably the most well known verse in the Bible is John 316, which I've got this open here. Thank you, Jesus. Thank You, Father, everyone who reads the Bible probably knows this. For God so loved the world that he gave his own one and only Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. That's a crucial verse to Yes, Christian faith. Amen. But there are a few verses that follow it. For God did not send His Son into the world, to condemn the world, but to save the world through Jesus, thank You, Holy Spirit. So whoever believes in Him is not condemned. But whoever does not believe stands condemned already, or because he has not believed in the name of God. One and Only Son. So this is the verdict. Light has come into the world. But men love darkness instead of light, because their deeds were evil. And Father, we're just we've only got to look at the news. Turn on the TV or listen to the radio and you see the evil that is going on around the world. And we can pinpoint that we don't even have to say, we know it's there. Yes. But the father, I just don't proclaim this first over the airwaves. Now for God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Thank you, father. Thank
Andy Hammond:you. That's for each one of us. And I think some morning we could take that verse again, in deep deep into our souls. Because Jesus and we celebrate it at this time of the year that Jesus gave his life for each one of us. And we thank you. And I was reminded at the weekend that without life without Jesus is meaningless. And I read a quote recently, and I use this over the weekend that the great evangelist Billy Graham said that life without Jesus is like a blank pencil. There's no point. So and that's so true. Amen. Life without Jesus. He's like a blank plant's life. So far though you give us faith you give us direction. You give us some hope, hope for a future. Thank you. We thank you that you, you came. And your ministry was only short three years, three years that you went about those miracles that we read about those amazing love that you showed to your friends, your disciples, the love that you showed us, by going to the cross, that this this coming Friday, many places of worship will be remembering your death on the cross. That was such a painful death. Historian sighs that this was probably the most cruelest death that anyone could suffer and be nailed to a cross her man and just left there for hours and hours it would take to die. But follow you went through your Son, Jesus, you went through all that for us, so that we could have life. Life, and your word promises that we should have life in all its fullness. And we pray a full life for everyone listening today that he has give fresh inspiration, hallelujah, thank God you give your direction that you will give a hope for and a future for all those listening today. Father, we ask that there will be a wave of your Holy Spirit. Now for all those listening, thank you wherever they are, that you will flow through their hubs through the rooms through messaging and listening, that they will feel the power of your spirit.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Thank you, Jesus.
Andy Hammond:Thank You, Father, because we need your spirit, your Holy Spirit to equip us for the work that you have in store for us. And, Father, I just thank You that You've been with me over the years that you have never left me that you have never let me down. And I pray that prayer over folk listening today. Those who are feeling dispirited, those are feeling depressed. Those are feeling anxious. Yeah, sure, come and meet with him, that you will come and sit beside them that you will put your loving arms around them. Just to let them know that you're there. And thank you. You know how they're feeling? Because Jesus, you went through all those human emotions that you suffered pain and ultimate test for each one of us. So I thank you for your scripture. We thank You for Your word. That is such a comfort for us. Yes, Lord, that speaks to us. We know farther that we can sit and pray. But when we read your word, it speaks so boldly to us. It is so loud. Word in comes to us so clearly feels itself. We thank you for that we have this. And we pray now that your Word will go out that your Word will go out into the highways and byways. It will go into schools, it will go into hospitals. It will go into the care homes that we now have that your Word speaks to truth. Amen. And we know that the truth sets us free. Yes, fine. So we we pray free for the captors today. Yes, we do need them Father God. So we asked you to come. Come Holy Spirit
Reverend Ben Cooper:Amen. Thank you, Jesus. Thank You, Father, for Your word. Thank you for your presence. Thank You for Your goodness and Your love, Lord. Thank you for the power, Lord, the power of the Holy Spirit. Father, we thank you that we are redeemed, that we are children of the living God. Come, Lord, refresh us today, Lord. Lord, as we gather around the table, Lord, we, we want to go deeper with you, Lord, Lord, we want to move forward. But we want us to stretch out Lord, Father, Lord, we want to go just just feel your presence, Lord of your word, and we're, wherever we are across the globe today, whatever our life looks like, we thank You Father, that greater is He that is within us than he that is in the world. And Lord, let your word Steris Lord beyond human understanding that your word father, just give us Lord that, that that that feeling, Lord that life Lord is about to begin and it's about to birth Lord and, and Lord, we thank You, Lord, that the greatest is before us law not because of us, but because of the living Word of God because your word is sharper than a double edged sword. Your Word is yes and amen, Lord, and as we gather Lord for communion this morning, Lord, we are sure that our brothers and our sisters wherever they join us across the world, to break bread to take the cup together, Lord, that we are doing this Lord not because the church has instructed it but because of the Messiah, the king, the king said as often as you come together, Emmanuel, his name, he will have the greatest name in heaven and earth. And he carries the name and at the name of Jesus, at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow law we do not bow the knee law to any political movement. We do not bow the knee law to any idolatrous worship we do not bow the knee Lord to any human being, we bow the knee to Jesus, Amen. We only bow to Christ the King of kings and Lord of lords. Lord, we do not bow to any fallen Gods Lord or false religions. Lord, we do not bow the knee Lord, to political agendas. We do not bow the knee Lord to falsehood. We do not bow the knee Lord dear god to what the world may be offering we bow in the presence of the sovereign God, we bow in the presence of the Sovereign King, we bow, in the presence of mercy, we bow in the presence of our Savior, we bow at our Redeemer, we thank you for redemption This is the week Lord. Lord where we where we focus on on being redeemed set freed because of the cross of Calvary law we're not we're not focusing anymore on the activities Lord and and all what goes along, Father God, we have the shouting and the noise of the church. Where are we? Today, Lord, this hour, this moment this week, let us realize that we are saved, that this is what it's about. We are saved by the Holy God. Holy, holy is the Lord most worthy of all praise. So this week, Lord is freedom. Lord, let us not look Lord at the theater of church. Help us not to look this week, Lord at the actors and actresses, Lord performing out religious roles. But Lord, let us look to our God. Let us look to our Savior this week. Let us look Lord, beyond the palm trees waving Lord, let us look beyond Lord, the cries of the church and religion performing Lord, let us look to Jesus let us look over and through all the hype that this week can bring. And Lord, let us look to our God and go Yes, Lord, I'm redeemed. Yes, Father, I'm redeemed. Yes, Lord, I'm a child of the living God and no one can take me out of the father's hands. I'm in the hand of the Father and I'm in the hand of the Messiah, and nothing can take me out of the grip of my God and my king. He is worthy of all praise. And this morning, Lord, I thank you for this week. This is redemption. All we thank you that we have been bought with the blood of Jesus, not 30 pieces of silver law, we're not worried about the 30 pieces of silver Lord, they've been handed back as border filter blood. But this day, Lord this day, we recognize that salvation has been given as a gift. And Lord, we are walking in the gift of salvation. We did not earn it. We do not deserve it. We cannot pay for it. Because it's been prayed, paid for the ransom has been fully met at the cross of Calvary. When the world came into line with what God spoke. And it's not that Jesus came into line with what the church and religion and the soldiers wanted. It is the reverse. God called everything into being Christ said It is finished. The soldiers had no strength over him to hang him on the cross unless it was not given from above. Herod pilot, the all audience around him were only doing everything that Christ knew that they would do. So as He hung on the cross of Calvary, he see everybody's heart he see everything going on. But he still chose to say those words. Father forgive them, for they know know what they do. Father, forgive them the power of forgiveness. Then he said it is finished. darkness fell across the whole land. The temple curtain was torn into the graves or open. The earth shook. Yes, don't
Donny Stockburn:pass, you can pass. Yeah. So going back to that scripture I read you. It says that Jesus was so horrified that He sweated blood and trembled and yelled down on his knees and stumbled. He was solidified, but it wasn't of nails, and the torturous things that were done to him and the humiliation that he feared. It wasn't that that made him fall down like that. It was the fear that he got to experience something he'd never experienced before separation from his father. And it says he was led like a lamb to the slaughter silent. But when, when sin of the world came on him, he cried out, that was the only thing that made him cried out when sin separated him from God. And that's what Christ came to put right in our lives, that we were separated from God by sin. And His Cross is all about bringing us back to the Lord. Yeah. Oh, Lord, what? What are things you suffered for us? A love, beyond loves beyond our imagination, Father, God, that you would do it for us in our condition, full of sin and wickedness, Lord, but you overlooked all that. You looked ahead and saw what we would be what we would become with your Spirit in us. And thank you for that in Jesus name, Lord, amen.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Amen. Amen. I'm and we're coming to the table, and Andy's gonna lead us. And it's gonna start off with the bread as we break bread together. So wherever you are, across the earth, whatever your time is, whatever you are, wherever you are. And we thank you for joining us this morning, whether you're on Amazon music, whether you're live streaming with us at this moment, you are joining us here for coffee and prayer. And we are about to take communion, we've had lots of Scripture, God is really moving through your lives. God has you in the palm of his hand, and he loves you. He loves you so much, but you are saved. You have been brought back, you are you are in his heart in you are in because he already chose you. But and he's going to break bread and he's going to lead us in prayer done will lead us and take us to the cup. But wherever you are, if you're in the Garden of Gethsemane today, what a great place to stay the will of the Father, not my will. But your will be done. God bless you, and God bless my brother in Christ.
Andy Hammond:Yeah, I've still got John's Gospel open. Chapter 19, which is the death of Jesus. And even when we read the account here in John, there are so many prophecies that were fulfilled the death of Jesus. And it's, I'm reading here from verse 33. Jesus has just died on the cross when they came to Jesus and found that he was already dead. They did not break his legs or which was in the form of crucifixion, they broke your leg so that you died quicker. But Jesus was already dead. And then that just fulfills the prophecy that not a bone will be broken. And that again, says to me how marvelous and how wonderful is God's word that the prophecies were fulfilled even at the time of Christ dying for each one of us. And we remember that his body was broken for us. Yes, Lord, as we just take this break, now, we remember, especially as we approach Easter weekend, we remember Father God that you sent Jesus to die in our place, so that we could have life, eternal life and life here. In fullness. We thank you for the body broken, Amen,
Reverend Ben Cooper:Amen. Thank you, Jesus.
Donny Stockburn:Yes, this was not just about the forgiveness of sins, this cos this was about the removal of sins. Where did God pull our sins, when he moved him out of us onto his son Jesus. He carries our sins he took him to took him to the grave, He paid the price, so that we will be set free, so that we could be in union with God. Again, there is no other way. No other way. There's a famous, I'll just tell you this. I heard it a long time ago, it was about a famous old auspicious, auspicious Ramsey. He was around in the 60s and 70s, a big man and he had big bushy eyebrows and an N, holy look about him. And he went on a campus somewhere in Kent, and in the university at Devon radio system, radio, in interviewing people and stuff like that. So as he's walking around the campus looking at different things, this young man, this young student, came up with a microphone, stuck it in his face, and said, Tell me all special. In your opinion, what place is God God in modern days, with all the knowledge and info we've got to die? And the archbishop looked down his big eyebrows and said to him, young man, the forgiveness of sins. No one can forgive sins and take sins away. Science can't do it. Only the blood of Jesus. That's the only way that our sins can be removed from this. Not a tangible but we move taken away, so that we don't have them in us anymore. And Father God, this is the blood. This is the only way into heaven. This is the only way that can we move since the blood of your Son Jesus, which is signed before it now in Jesus name, Lord, amen.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Amen. Thank you Jesus. Blood of the Lamb. Cross of calvery. The freedom that we have in the presence of Almighty God. You are chosen you are blessed. Oh man, you are redeemed. You are? You are. It's that simple. You are because he did. You are because he spoke. You are free? Isn't it difficult to grasp sometimes? Isn't it difficult to get out understanding around when when life can be so hard you're hard us and so tough in areas and such a stretch. Some days when things are happening out, things are breaking out at work and at home, whether through family or the grandchildren or friends or family or situations people around you think just seem to be coming at you and you're trying to spin loads of plates and you're trying to you haven't got the energy and you just feel worn out. I think that's a good time just to try and just to grab your thought pattern a moment and just say, amongst all the chaos of life and living on this earth as a human being, God loves me. God loves me in everything that's going on in my life. God see everything going on in my life God, God chose everything. God God spoke everything you know, you know the power of freewill, but really is it free will as we look at that word. I just thank God that it's not by work so that no one can boast. I thank God that is not by works, that salvation has been given. And we are living in a society where nothing is free. In the world, there is no such word as free. There's always a string there's always something attached somewhere. But in the kingdom of God, who the sunsets free, is free indeed. Amen. So freedom in the kingdom is completely different. Because there are no strings attached because that salvation has been given and we cannot earn it we cannot work it we cannot we don't even I will say like this I won't bring you into this this conversation. I don't deserve it. I'm the least of the least of the least of the least I just don't deserve this. A man attack deserve by His grace and His mercy
Donny Stockburn:Amen
Reverend Ben Cooper:Blood of Jesus
Donny Stockburn:Yeah, thank you.
Reverend Ben Cooper:We saved I don't deserve it. I can't understand it. I can't. Because in the world, the word freedom does not exist. The land of the free, impossible. We are slaves of righteousness. But we're free in the righteousness. You are free. Yeah, I'm the least of the least of the least of the least of the least. And when you think that you've reached the end of the word least to keep going, because I'm lesser. But because I put because of the blood. Supply, it brings us to a place, man, it brings us to a place. I pray whatever's going on in your life, that you will find the freedom because you're already free. The world has tied you down with Universal Credit deals. The world is tying us down with credit cards. The world is tying us down with mortgages. The world is tying us down with education, politicians are tying us down. Society, the VAT number has tied us down. The tax code has tied us down everything that we have is timeless to something somewhere, someone but there is there is freedom. But the price has been paid the ransom almen one Rand is one sacrifice for us once and for all. Yeah, Freedom. Freedom because of because of the cross. Yes, the most brutal way to leave the Earth, the cross of Calvary here. And even the physical death of crucifixion, let alone without carrying carrying the sins of the world. Yes, carry carry that that goes beyond that goes beyond that, wow.
Donny Stockburn:Can I just add a new culture cannot? I've heard that said so many times, oh, God is a God of love you he will get you away get you over this. God will never overlook sin. He asked to be paid for. God has made a why here and it's so repentance. And that's the way we get back. And when our sin is gone, God can come and live in us but not before. God's made a why he cost him his son's life. And he said so lovely. That word. God so loved the world. He gave His only son. He will not overlook sin. Don't get kidney. Yeah, code for a Christ is the only one who can remove it from us. We thank you for that, Lord. What a mercy. What merciful God, Lord, that we stand in your grace and Your Mercy, Your forgiveness, not in anything we do. Just as help ours is just to say thank you, Lord, and common repent to Him. Let faith one across.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yeah. All the beautiful, beautiful, beautiful
Andy Hammond:scriptures. Yes. So with that, it's in Romans. Romans 323 says, For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. But 623 says, The wages of sin is death. But the gift of God is eternal life. Jesus our Lord, we thank you for that. We have that gift. And one John one nine says that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us for long nights. Amen. So there is that prayer that you can say this morning. Yeah, yeah. And I mean, if you don't know Jesus, and we've never been in relationship with Him, you can say that prayer, you can ask him to come into your life, you can ask him for forgiveness of all the errors and the issues that you've done in the past that you're ashamed of. He can wipe them clean, he can wipe the slate clean that you can come into relationship with the Son of God, Jesus, and you can have that deep, deep relationship, which is so amazing, and the promises that he never leaves you. And if that's true this morning, just just say, to say a short prayer, I confessed God, I am a sinner. I believe that Lord Jesus Christ died for my sins on the cross. I believe that God raised him from the Did Amen. I now repent of my sins. Yes father, I receive Him as my Savior and Lord one way and I ask Holy Spirit to come into my life now. Amen. Good. Yeah, there we go. Thank you
Reverend Ben Cooper:repentance, there is power. There is power. Thank you. Oh, there is power. This is the day that the Lord has made I shall rejoice and be glad. This is a new day. This is a new beginning. And it starts with Lord forgive me. Amen. Forgive him before I let him know removals things, remove it, Lord, father from our hearts today, Lord. Lord, we thank you that there is pure freedom there is just freedom is abound in before us, Lord, we thank you Jesus for the power of the Word of God. And this morning, Lord, who the sun sets free, is free indeed, because of the cross of Calvary. We are free Lord, we thank You, Lord, that there is no snare Lord that can hold us there is no trap that can get us because Lord, every snail all has been cut by Christ. Every trap has been filled in law. every pothole has been smoothed over look, because of the blood because of the blood. Yes, because of the blood Lord. Thank You, Jesus. Thank you for this morning. With Lord as we as we just bring this to some form of a pose as a as a be still moment, Lord until we gather again around the word tonight at 730. Lord for online streaming Bible studying through the power of podcast and we thank you for our lovely brother Andy, we thank you for a lovely brother, Donnie Lord and we pray, Lord, for our good friend and lovely brother as well. Pastor Glen, wherever he is today, Lord, let there be healing on his body today. Yes, Lord, refresh him and restoring. We pray for every denomination today, Lord, across this nation, Lord, it will not be about performing. But it will be understanding Lord, what happened at the cross of Calvary. So Lord, let the let the church shout out. We are redeemed. We are redeemed. I'm saved by the blood of Jesus, not by Mary, not by Joseph, not by anybody else, not by the bishops, not by the leaders, not by me, not by anybody, we are saved by grace, not by a human being. Not by work so that none of us no denomination can boast. No one can say that we are the church we are the greatest. We thank You, Lord, that everything comes back to the cross of Calvary. Everything the the center point of Christianity is Christ and the cross is the deity, the blood of Jesus as Moses and it's God gave clear instruction. The blood will be a sign the blood will be a sign. So Father, we thank you the blood is over us. Lord, our names are stamped written in the Lamb's book of life. written with the blood of Jesus, written with the blood of Jesus you're in. Not because we deserve it. But because he is faithful and just faithful. And just we can ask dandy if he would take us out not literally out. But just take us out this morning. Come
Donny Stockburn:on. Yeah. Sorry, sorry. It's just is the Father's will. The O's whoever would come to him, yeah, will be saved. Whosoever will come to him. That is the Father's will. And we see thank you for that, Lord is your will, that whosoever would come to you will be saved. We thank you for that in Jesus name, Lord, amen.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Amen. Thank you done. And if you could just bring us to a place where we can press the button and bid everybody God bless. So just before we go, we will see you this evening at 730. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Donny Stockburn:Amen. Amen.
Andy Hammond:Father, I just want to say thanks for all that you have done through Jesus. We just can't really fathom the great love. Yes, father.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yes, Lord, the Creator. Yes, yes, God

You've made a way that straight highway that scripts at all talks about that we can get back to you on Sunday. Thank you. And as we do approach Easter we pray Father that There will be joy after the sadness of the cross. So I just think of all those who watched at the time the disciples and and the women who were there. And so this is, this cannot be this cannot be half, Jesus would die. But such joy when they went to the tomb. Yeah, on that morning to find Jesus wasn't now taken him. Yes. But then there was Jesus. And he said those words, Mary, and she recognized his voice. Oh, marvelous. How wonderful. So we thank you. Yes, there is a way and Jesus, you are the way your life No one comes to the fight. And that prayer is on our lips says we conclude. We just say, Amen. Amen. And amen.
