Reverend Ben Cooper:

Spirit. But yeah, welcome to all those in the world of podcast. Thank you so much for joining us, the 1000s of downloads right across the earth. God bless you this evening. And thank you for sharing everything on the social media platforms that you have regarding these podcasts and for all those that are just capturing. So just catching online, I've got to repeat myself again. Thank you so much for joining us. So you can find us on Apple Music, Amazon music, I Heart Radio, come on, you can sing this with me. Buzzsprout, Spotify. Please share out all the podcasts that we're doing all the services that have been recorded, that are pushed out but let's just jump straight into Psalm 27. Yeah, you've guessed it, you might absolutely be in there right now. Psalm 27. Look at this Bible. And you can say this with me here is torn, it is beaten. It has bits and pieces missing off it, just like the owner, you know me little bit warped, a little bit shapes a little bit missing off the spine of come unglued in a few places. Look, we can see that. Certainly done that. All right. But we're around the Holy Communion table tonight. And I just thank God for your life. I thank God for your life. I thank God for you, for your family, for your for your children, if you've got children, if you haven't got your thank God for whatever your press on this, this human race that you have, I pray that God will strengthen you in your work and your business. Whether you are looking for work, whether you're unemployed, whether you're retired, whether whatever your situation is, and there is a list, a list of things that you could be. One thing I know is that you are hungry for Jesus Christ. One thing I know is that you are a child of the living God. One thing I know is that you're here on line with me at this moment, and I really believe God is speaking to you clearly about salvation I really believe God is is drawing you closer to him. I believe many have been pushed aside by church and religion over the years. But right now, there is something very new in the atmosphere, God is drawing you closer to him. You've been hungry for him for years. And in certain church settings in certain religious operations. You've been pushed back, pushed aside, and you've actually walked away from certain ministers and church and certain religious boxes. But I really believe God is speaking to you tonight. God the Father, the protocol, he's calling the product or not because that we've lived wrong or we've done anything wrong like that. It's just that not because we've walked away from Christ, literally that we've walked away from religion and religion has upset us and religious. Religion has called us a few issues in life and it has made us feel very, very uncomfortable, but the kingdom of God doesn't make us feel uncomfortable. The Bible says Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. We've got to seek God. God is asking God is calling. God is drawing God is speaking. God is everything. When we think God calls god's sakes, God asks, God is respectful. He's a loving God. He's got a rough, he is everything. You know, he is absolutely everything. And his love for you is absolutely unconditional. His love for me is absolutely unconditional. And wherever you are across this earth tonight, I pray that the fire of God will just dwell in your heart, I pray that the power of the Holy Spirit will just sit in your innermost being I pray that the word of God will feel like fire rested on your heart and I pray that you will not go by your roadmapping of life and by your anticipation of what lies ahead of you, but you will go and you will walk by faith, the God that we serve the God of Israel, the God of order, the God of justice, the god of yes and amen. I really believe God is calling you to a greater level than you've ever walked before. Far above the layer of church far above the law of religion, even those that are in leadership, I believe God is calling you into a greater walk with Him. Because firstly, it starts with walking with God, I've got to learn to walk with God, I got to learn to understand that he is my father, he is the Son He is the Holy Spirit. And I learned to surrender my life to Him. Now, take away lifestyle choices, take away decisions, take away hopes and whatever and take away all the feelings. And I just gonna say do this. And I really believe that God is calling you to a deeper relationship with him. Whatever. However, what sort of layer you may look at, or I look at, as we walk with Him whatever stepping stone that we may be on whatever the run up the ladder of the walk with him, you know, I thank God for your life because God has you in the palm of his hand. He loves you unconditionally. And we're going to break bread together, we're going to take a cup together, and we're just going to sit we're going to be still and we're going to rest in His presence, whether you wherever you are at 742 Whatever it is, across the earth tonight here in the UK, wherever you are across this earth across this nation. I pray from the very depth from the very being of my heart tonight that God will lead you into paths of righteousness, that he will strengthen you that you will find that true calling in him not in church, not in religion, and not trying to aspire to what pastors and leaders want you to be what the family want you to be what your social network expects you to be, but you Grow in the Word of God and you blossom and you become the oak tree in Christ Jesus, that you become standing upon the rock, that you know that your Redeemer lives and you stand upon the rock, and you follow Him and you listen to him. Now, as I say, you, you you I'm also speaking to me I'm speaking to me first, I speak to me before I serve and I before I preach before teach, before I shall Allah dance, rock and roll whatever it may be in this position, whatever I do, it comes to me first it comes to me because I'm starting to find that I am the lesser and God has so much to do God has so much work to do me he has to strip me back daily every second every moment every every error every second of my life stripped me back God stripped me back of me stripped me back Lord, if I'm arrogant strip me back if I'm prideful, strip me back. If I'm selfish strip me back Lord, if I'm if I'm boastful stripped me back, Lord, if I'm if I'm a horrible person stripped me back, Lord, whatever my idiosyncrasies are, whatever my failings are, whatever the skin of life that I'm not getting right at this moment or whatever be I'm beating that is not beating with your heart farther I want to beat with your heart. Lord, I want to walk with your heartbeat not I want to walk with you, Lord, I want to walk in the word Lord. I want to know that when you call me home, know when this earth suit dies and hits the floor. Lord, when you call me home, Lord, I want you to say I want to hear the voice of my father of my Christ of my god of my king. Say well done good and faithful servant. In the end, Ben, you got it right? In the end. You got it right right towards the last fagg end of your life. You got it, right. That's what's the most important part What a terrible way to put it. The Fagin the by end of your life, terrible theological word in there, absolutely disgusting young man. Psalm 27, Psalm 27, verse one, and it says, The Lord is the light of my salvation whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid? Very simple, but very powerful tonight, get grab yourself a Bible, open up the tablet, open up your phone, open up your iPad, your your, your whatever you got in front of you, your laptop, your screen, whatever it is, and go to Psalm 27 the Lord in so I just want to remind you and remind me tonight the Lord is He is our everything. Here's our rock, here's our God. Here's our King. Here's our bright morning star. He is the King of kings. He is the Lord of Lords. He is your great Savior. He is your Redeemer. And we've been looking at this word for quite a while now salvation and repentance and the Redeemer. We are redeemed and we are saved. I'm not apologizing for repeating myself, because we got others jumping online all the time that I just catching this for the first time. And if you go on your shout a podcast and your back, reading your back, listen to this stuff you will find for many days and for a few weeks, God has been leading us as individuals as individuals as the body of Christ. As the as the Spirit of God leads us he is leading us into the doctrines of grace. He's leading us into justification he's leading us into repentance. is he speaking about holiness, he's speaking about surrender, you know, surrender is the hardest thing that I find to do is to surrender my complete life to Christ to give him absolutely everything because I've got to give him the enemy. I've got to give him the outer me. I've got to give him my my homie, my work me, every me I've got to give him me because he's expecting me to walk with Him completely walk with Him, and to walk with him so clearly, and so and so. I can't say pure. I can't say completely right, because I can't do that. Because I am a sinner saved by grace. But as I walk as life as I continue to live, as every second goes by, as the Lord purifies as the Lord hills of the Lord deals with, well, you know, we get closer we get closer to that position, we get closer and closer, but I cannot do it by myself. I need the Holy Spirit. I need the power of God, I need the word I need. My God, I need the Redeemer I need the King of kings and the Lord of lords to shape me to melt me to mold me into the person that he's called me to be. I need him to shape me in the days that are hard in the days that may be easy in the stressful times with the children. If you're married, I'm married if you're working on if you're not working, if your whatever your circumstances of life. I really believe God God is is nurturing God. He's got his drawing God God is pulling us closer to him. And I believe this word is very relevant for for all of us tonight. The just shall live by faith. We live by sight. We live by perception of everything. We live by anticipation. We are. We are thinking about work tomorrow. We're thinking about food for this evening. We're thinking about the washing we're thinking about putting fuel in the car. We're thinking we're always thinking, we're always thinking I've got to put some money on the electric car. I've got to pay Electric Bill, I've got to pay the phone bill. I got to get the children ready for school. I got to do their homework. We got swimming lessons tomorrow. We got this. We got that. I've got to do I've got to get my work bag ready. I gotta get my lunch ready, I gotta get my clothes ready. What we're going to do what time? You know, we're always anticipating in our heads. We're always thinking we're always our brains are always overworked our thinking, you know, we can get really exhausted and really tired and washed out thinking and then as we start to think and articulate life and as we think our way through life, suddenly I come away from faith. I don't live as the scripture says, that just shall live by faith. Yes, I've got a plan. Yes, I've got to make sure that the day is ready and the day is in order. But but I've got to be very careful. Because the Lord is the light of my salvation. I've got to understand that the Lord is the Lord is before anything this psalm is in Psalm 27. The Lord is before anything the Lord is, he is my first he is my last he is my, my God, He is my King, the Lord is the psalmist says The Lord is my light. As we looked in Genesis, you know, Genesis, very clear, very pure, on creation speak very powerfully and it speaks with authority, because we are hearing God's speak. For the first time humanity in creation we are hearing the God of Israel speak with power, and authority we hear the universe are coming into being we understand atoms are being formed. We understand oxygen light, we understand the science of life as we know it. Now we're up 1000s of years, where we sit we understand astrology, we understand physics, we understand mathematics, we understand philosophy. We were great thinkers, we're a great articulators. We're all this sort of stuff. And then suddenly, I go by education and I go by science and I go by mathematics and I go by logic, rather than going by the Lord is the Lord is the light of my salvation. The Lord is my God the Lord is my faith The Lord is my supplier. The Lord is my God the Lord is it's really important to me, I really believe God is drawing me God is drawing you God is speaking to many of us to go by faith, because when I look at my life, I could worry about my life, I could worry about certain situations in my life, I could worry about certain plateaus and certain levels of my life, I could be worrying so much about my life, but but how worry does not add an hour to my day, worried does not add an hour to my life worry, you know, worry absolutely destroys and it cultivates and it turns my heart upside down, inside out and then as worry is upon me, Faith drops out faith disappear. And then suddenly we go by a worry and worry starts to turn to fear and fear starts to turn to dread, and then dread started planning and we start to plan and anticipate and then suddenly, we become fixated, we become tunnel vision, we got his tunnel vision that we were fixated on fixed in, rather than living by faith, not sitting back and going on waiting on a word from the Lord. We got to live, live our lives as we have to live our lives. And whatever your life is, at this moment, God knows exactly what your life is. He knows the is of your life. He knows the every area of your life. He knows everything about your life. He knows your character, he knows my failings. He knows the plus side of me just the one little plus side. He knows all the areas of of let's say sin, corruption, downfall, all that and that's not putting me down. I got to be careful because if counselors listen to this, and people listen, there's a lot I go, well, actually that pastor is really putting himself down when I'm not actually putting myself down in myself and putting the flesh down because the Bible says, The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. So there's this, there's these two sides to me in this spiritual battle. See, I'm not just carnal. I'm not just physical, I'm spiritual. We're spiritual. So there is a battle going on. So the Scripture reminds us, the Lord is what are you God the Lord is my light. What does light do light makes a way in the darkness. He is the light of the world. He is the King of kings, he is the Lord of lords, he is Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Shalom, the Lord is your helper. The Lord is your healer. The Lord is with you. Whether you are in an abusive relationship, whether you're in a beautiful relationship, whether you're in a or no relationship, whatever you are in, whether you're in work or out of work, whether you're whatever you are doing, God is with you, believe it or believe it not doesn't matter how bad bleak or or great and wonderful it looks. God is with you in all things, because he is the God of all he is the God of Time. He is the God of space, time and matter. The three really important elements that science needs to bring and to speak and to pour stuff together. Space Time matter. We will find this in the book of Genesis. Right at the very beginning. God speaks space, he speaks time I'm and he speaks matter we see the process of science coming together in Genesis Genesis chapter one, as soon as God speaks, we we hear this voice, this funder, this role, we understand that he is the Lion of Judah. And we want to hear the roar of the Lion of Judah, he is your God, He is your King. He is and the psalmist writes will come into the table very, very soon the Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid, he is everything to you, He is your King, he is your God. He is your yes and amen. He is your salvation. God is your Redeemer. God is your strength. God is your guide. God is your rock. God is your blessing. God is your word is the living word. He is everything and he loves you. And he loves me unconditionally. And it doesn't matter what's going on. In culture around us. It doesn't matter what the struggles are, the Lord will fight, no did now. Now when we get into this spiritual warfare, we need to be a bit careful that we don't jump on too much the evangelical the Pentecostal, the drama in certain areas of ministry, where we're always in this position of warfare, when actually I've got to remember the position that I'm in the posture that I take is that the battle belongs to the Lord. And all I need to concentrate and to focus on is Hebrews chapter 12, verse two, the fix your eyes, sorry, fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and the perfecter of my faith, I fix my eyes on Jesus, I don't need to worry about battles. I don't need to worry about the glass. I don't need to worry about the phillium the sons of God, I don't need to worry about all that activity. I don't need to worry about Lucifer and all his agents that don't need to worry about all the dark side. It all I need to do is to focus on God because the Lord is the Lord is my deliverer. The Lord is my rock. The Lord is my king. The Lord is my word. The Lord is my glory. The Lord is my joy. The Lord is my Redeemer. The Lord is my salvation. I actually do not need to put any weight anymore in my life, in the word of deliverance, I have been delivered, you have been delivered, you are a slave to righteousness. So you are bought and I am bought with the blood of Jesus, we do not belong to ourselves. We do not belong to our family, our family do not belong to us. Now that can be quite hurtful and it can quite seem quite cutting because there are a lot of people that haven't heard that before. What do you mean? Yes, it's not to say that we don't love our families and, and all that it's not to say that but we are here, because of him not because of the Father's will, the mother's will, the Scripture makes it very clear. We are here not because of, of human intervention, we are not here because of the biological process of humanity. We are here because of the process of the living Word of God. And God called you into being God spoke you into being God knew you before your mother and father and even knew each other before your grandparents, great grandparents before the genealogy of your family even came into being Christ See you on the timeline of life, when your mother and your father were going to get together, and the process of life was going to come into being but God did not need your mother and father because he was always going to be in this world. You always always going to be somewhere because God created you in your mother's womb. So God actually knew your mother before your mother knew you God, God knew everything about you You was going to come from from one part of the world one way one form or the other you was coming in, no matter what no one was going to stop you, no one was going to be able to push you out, no one was going to stop you being birthed because you were spoken into being by God. Very difficult subject I understand about birth and, and everything that goes along along with that, I really grasp that. But I just want to let you know that you are always going to be in because God called you in for those for those that did not make it in God has already taken care of them. That is a big sermon that is a big teaching on certain areas of children that never made it into this world for one way or another. But we can maybe look at that and study that God has them as well. God has asked that I've managed to come out the birth canal. God has those that never made it out there. But God has all of us one way or another. God knows everything about us very deep, very difficult subject, very, very testing subject, a very stretching subject. But God is with us whether we have been birthed out of the birth canal, or whether we never made it out. God still has us. There is nothing outside of our sight. Whatever you were, however, we may look at that on the side of birth, but God is with you. God loves you. The Lord is the light of your salvation. Whom shall I fear? I want to just say this if I Can let's turn our fear into prayer. Let's turn our fear lit. As soon as fear starts coming in. As soon as fear starts bubbling like a volcano, as soon as the stress level will start to rise, the anger starts to turn. Let's just say the Lord's prayer Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. As soon as worry starts to come in. Let's change the worry for the Lord's Prayer. And let's go all the way through the Lord's Prayer. Let's get the Lord's Prayer pressed in the tablet of our hearts or when something happens, something fearful is a common, let's just say the Lord's Prayer. So let's ask God tonight Father, in the name of Jesus, when I get anxious, Lord, when my lips start to wobble law where my mind goes, Lord, I asked you that you will trigger in my spirit, the Lord's Prayer, and I will say the Lord's prayer Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, your kingdom come your will be done. Lord, I pray, Lord, that I will learn the Lord's prayer that the Lord's Prayer will be my safety valve when anger starts when worry starts, when trepidation starts when fear when when suicidal thoughts come, Lord, when Oh, woe is me, when the lowly thoughts come, Lord, I pray that your word, your living Word will trigger in my heart, and out of my belly shall flow rivers of living water, and let that ruin living water, Lord, let it be the Lord's Prayer, Our Father who art in heaven, law, because as soon as I say, Our Father, I realized that I've got a father, whether I don't have a earthly father, I have a heavenly Father. If I never knew my earthly father, my Heavenly Father is in charge of me, our father, everyone has a father whether we can say we can account for an Earthly physical father, or whether we can't account for a physical father, we all have the Father in heaven, our father, Hallowed, holy glory, hallowed be thy name, that Oh God, this this is so powerful, this psalm. This Psalm The Lord is the Lord is your everything. The Lord is your guide. The Lord is your rock. The Lord is your strength. The Lord is your yes and Amen. The Lord is the light of your salvation. The Lord is the spoken word is the rhema word. He is Lord, the Lord is the latter day rain. He is worthy of all praise. He's manna from heaven. He's the living word. He's the healer. He's the great I AM. He's the lily of the valley. He's the bright morning star. He says, He is our God, He is our king. And he has called you into greatness. He has called you into Destiny. He has called you out of worry. And he is putting you into joy. He's calling you out of fear and putting you in faith. He's calling you out of stress, and putting you in the joy of the Lord, the joy of the Lord shall be my strength. The Lord is everything that you need him to be. So how do I find all this? Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness sinky first, but what I love is that he sought me, he got me, he grabbed me, he saved me. He sent me free. He's giving me a hope and a future. Before my lips were speaking before my body was information. Before I even come into existence. He was already shaping molding on the timeline of the birth. The greatness of being birthed into this world, the greatness of that the greatness of women bringing children into the world. God see the timeline, the maternal timeline coming into being before before our Mum Mum even conceived before mum even and had child with us carrying us before before before God had that in that God that that process before their mum even had them before their grandparents even had them. US already use already on the timeline of Christ voice us already on the timeline of existence us already coming into being new Christ was just waiting for the second cross was just waiting for the moment when everything lined up. When everything came into position when everything lined up, you was already coming. He was already in us already in existence, because the Scripture tells us this. The Scripture tells us that he see our unformed body before it was formed. He heard every word that we spoke before we even came into existence. Oh, Lord, I thank you, Jesus. So as we come to the table, we're going to come to the table right now. I just going to read the psalm again. I'm just going to read Psalm 27. Again, as we come to the table, and I don't want you to worry anymore. I don't want you to panic anymore about your life, about your money, about your circumstances about anything that's going on in your life, because God has you right in the palm of his hand. So let's look at Psalm 27. If you've got a word open the Word up and as I always say, grab yourself a Bible. Grab yourself a Bible, whether you're listening on podcast, whether you're on a live stream of us tonight, maybe you've just you think that you've just flopped into this service or this Ficker was He rambling on about what's going on what's Holy Communion what's what's what's the best invest vestment anyone could ever do is grab yourself a holy word. It is powerful. It is historical. It is spiritual. It is life giving. It gives life. It takes life. It corrects it rebukes it's love is power. It's a love story. It's poetry, its history, its power. Its anointing is God is God. You're reading God's heart. Get yourself a Bible, and you will read the heart of God. Psalm 27. As we come to the table, let me Lord, give us ears to hear, give us eyes to see that's not what the psalmist says. That's what that is from a different different reading. Psalm 27, verse one, the Lord is the light of my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid? Let's read it one more time. If you've got if you've got your Bible, read it with me. Come on, let's read it aloud. Speak it out over your home. Now, you've got to be careful when I say that about speaking stuff over. You know, you've got to be very careful about that. Because we've got to be careful of the evangelical the Pentecostal, the name it and claim it and all that old banner that's been pushed and shouted, what I mean by speaking it. There's nothing more powerful than hearing God's word being spoken, to actually hear God's word being spoken. So let's, let's, let's, let's read Psalm 27. Again, the Lord is the light of my salvation, of whom shall I fear the Lord is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid? Absolutely no one. The Lord is your God, the Lord is your King. Here's your rock. Here's your yes and amen. And wherever you are tonight, I'll just give it a couple of minutes. Let's give it a couple of minutes. And we're going to take the bread together. So let's scramble off, let's grab ourselves some bread, let's grab ourselves some wine, grape juice, whatever you've got there. As we just take the cup together, have a sip of coffee, have a cup of tea. It may be whatever you're doing tonight, you know, just relax because God is with you. Wherever you are across the earth, God has anointed you. God has blessed you. God is calling you God is calling you fresh. Excuse me one moment. You know, prayer is really, really powerful. The scripture says You have not because you ask not. Gotta be careful with that one. That I don't take it out of context, you have not because you ask not. I got to be careful that I don't pray like a crazy, crazy, wild person that's labeled up as a name and claim it. The only prayer that I need and should ever pray really, is the prayer that Christ has given me. Because if I was to study the Lord's Prayer and to take the Lord's Prayer, it's got healing, it's got deliverance, it's got salvation. It's got hope. It's got love. It's got word, it's, it's Christ, Christ is given us. When you pray, he says, pray like this. The beginning of that prayer says, Don't be like the Pharisees the Sadducees they'll be like that lot of standing on street corners babbling and making noise and just making a noise for the sake of it. But then he says, When you pray, pray like this. Then after nice has also done the like the pagans, that love the sound of their own voice. So God is telling us a lot crisis centers a lot through that, that New Testament writing. I think if anyone is struggling for praying at this moment, the go to and the only prayer that I'm going to do this with you, I'm going to do this with you. Anytime. I'm in trouble anytime I'm in distress. Anytime that I'm getting myself in a little bit of a pickle. Anytime I've got myself in a little bit of Marmite situation a little bit sticky, that's not really good bit gooey or whatever it may be going on. Anytime fear is rising anytime that thoughts are not good. I'm gonna say Father tonight will you trigger? Lord, will you? Will you reveal? Will you reveal tonight the Lord's Prayer so a little bit my mind isn't working correctly, when I'm tired and weary and when I can't think straight, Lord, when I when I've got to pray, and I don't know what to say, and I don't know how to speak to you, Lord, will will you bring up in my spirit? Lord, will you will you bring to my heart will you bring to my mind? Or my attention? Lord, will you bring to my attention tonight now moments whenever it may be Lord, the Lord's Prayer. So when I'm in trouble, I'll say the Lord's prayer. Lord, even when I'm happy, I'll say the Lord's Prayer. Even when I want to give you a praise. I'll just say Our Father who art in heaven. Lord help me to understand every word in the Lord's Prayer. Because, Lord, I believe that you have given that prayer to us for a very big reason. So Lord help me to pray that helped me Lord to understand that helped me Lord to see prophecy through that helped me Lord, to feel your power through that prayer. But Lord, when I'm feeling down when I'm feeling weary, and exhausted and tired, Lord, and I feel that I haven't prayed because the church says I should be in prayer for 14 hours a day, laying on the sofa. You know, praying all day long, but Lord, it's difficult. You heard that. And then yeah, the pastor said, sometimes it's difficult to pray, because my mind has been taken off by what the world is doing. God, I forgotten Lord God, I shouldn't be fasting. God, I should be God I should be. Thank God. He hasn't held back salvation until I've got it. All right. He saved me even knowing that I would say to him, Lord, I'm going to fast tomorrow. And I started in the morning, I got to work. And I, ah, a bit on a sandwich that I forgot, Lord, nevermind the start tomorrow, Jesus. Thank God, thank God, it's not by works. It's not by religion. It's not by all that arrogance that goes and dogma that goes with religion and all that. God knows when I'm going to fast correctly, when I'm going to fast, badly. He knows when I'm going to pray, correct when I'm going to pray, not so good. He knows when I'm going to be faithful. He knows when I'm going to be faithless. But none of this none of all these areas of life. None of this stopped him from saving me. He saved me regardless of all this stuff. Because it is by grace, we have been saved. So I pray tonight, wherever you are, whatever your situation is. That the Lord's Prayer will come like fire and your voice box, that you will hear the line of Judah roar and that prayer, up the esophagus right out, you will hear it in your innermost being. And the power of God will reveal his prayer to your body, to your mind to your situation, and the fire of God will come up and it will be like honey on your lips because that's what the that's what the writer writes in the Old Testament. Your Word is like honey on my lips. Let's take the bread because it'd be the next Easter because I can really ramble. It'd be the next one. If I don't break this prep. I've got to stop. Come on. Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank You for this bread that symbolizes the body of Christ. And tonight, Lord, we thank You that we can be honest. We can be open, we can be truthful. We can be real. Lord, we can just Lord. Just say father helped me tonight because I'm struggling. Lord, help me Lord. I pray that you're, you're the Lord's prayer that Jesus taught and spoke about. Lord, I pray that that will be revealed in my spirit, that the Lord's Prayer will come up like fire, and I will feel it rising up my esophagus. In my innermost being Lord, I will fill the Lord's Prayer in my voice box. Lord, I will fill the word coming out like rivers of living water, Lord, and I will be able to understand the Lord's Prayer. I will speak the Lord's Prayer, I will pray the Lord's prayer. Lord, let that always be the prayer, the Lord's Prayer. Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Lord, what a beautiful prayer that is. So Lord, I thank you that I got to sit in a prayer meeting for 15 hours, trying to think of words, trying to think of straplines Hashtag slogans, trying to think of the latest church jargon and the latest church sentence trying to remember what it all is or the liturgies and all that law that I can just sit at home, I can sit in the van, I can sit on the back doorstep, I can sit on my table, I can sit at my desk, I can just be in my bed, Lord, just sitting there just asleep just resting. I can be walking I can be wherever I want to be. And wherever I am, you are with me. So whenever I need to pray, I asked you, Lord, that you will take the guilt of not getting back into church because it's prayer night. But Lord, I clearly understand Do not neglect or forget the gathering together for the edification of the saints. Lord, I understand that. But Lord, I want to I want the guilt to go. Lord, I want the guilt to go Lord, that I can pray wherever I want to pray. I can take communion wherever I want to take communion. I can say the Lord's Prayer, you know, on an aircraft I can across the channel I can I can do it. Lord, while I'm sitting on the side of a lake fishing, I can do it while I'm washing out. I can do it while I'm hoovering. I can dance around the Hoover Lord, singing louder and saying the Lord's prayer Father I can I can be cycling, I can be walking, I can be playing football, I can be in the gym. I can be on the treadmill, I can be running. I can be wherever I want to be. I can even be in church and not come under conviction and have to sit there for 15 hours trying to think of words to pray because they're babbling because there's noise there. noise this noise Lord. Lord, I pray that out of my innermost being the Lord's prayer because the Lord is the Lord is my light. The Lord is my salvation. He is my stronghold. And as I take this bread right now, Lord, I thank you that your body was broken, in Jesus name, Amen. Praise be to God and may God bless you and strengthen you. As we take bread together at this moment. This is the Lord's body that was broken for each and every one of us. And the scripture says, as often as you do this, do this in remembrance of me in the same way after supper, he took the cup, saying, This cup is a new covenant in my blood, do this whenever you drink it in remembrance of Me, Lord, we are doing it in remembrance of there you are the me. We're doing it in remembrance of Jesus, not of church, not of the order, not in order of the Levitical priesthood, not in order, father of the saints, not because of the people in the church tell us we're doing it, Lord, not because religion and organizations are telling us that we're doing it law because our heart wants to do it. We're doing it law because we love you. We're doing it law, because you are drawing us to do this, we are doing this because the Bible tells me the Bible, the biblical terminology is telling me the biblical references before my eyes. As often as you do this, do this as often as you come, walk together, be together, talk together, you know, you can do this over the phone with one another, you could do this over Skype, you could do this over teams, you could do it wherever you want to do it. You can do this breaking of bread together. You can even do it on your own. You can sit at your table, you can sit in your van, you can sit on the floor, you can wherever you want to be whatever, whatever, wherever. Because it's about Jesus, it's about me and the Messiah. It's not about human, the human race around me. It's not about the church around me, it's not religion around me. It's about me and Jesus, it's about me recognize his body was broken for me. It's about me recognizing that blood was shed for me, is recognizing that he died for me, me, me, you can hear me and you know, it's asking him asking him, you know, it goes that way us and him but the church wants it going that way. It wants us going that way it wants it wants it that way. Instead of vertically, he wants it horizontally. It's between us and the pastor as us and the leadership or it's our first when actually no, it's Jesus. It's Jesus. It's Father, Son, Holy Spirit. It's always up it's always up. It's never across. And that's and I'm being completely respectful. It's always up it's up. It's up to him. It's up to him. The psalmist says I look up to the hills I look up I up to him. The author says it very clearly in Hebrews chapter 12 Verse two keep your eyes on keep your eyes on keep your eyes on the on keep your eyes on Jesus. It actually says Keep your eyes on Jesus. Hebrews chapter two. Sorry, Hebrews chapter 12 Verse two, get it right Ben, get it right, get it right, get it right, Hebrews chapter 12 verse to keep your eyes on Jesus, the author, the perfecter of your faith. Come on, let's, let's take this cut together. Father in the name of Jesus. I understand Lord, very simply, very powerfully, Lord, in a spiritual way, Lord, that this symbolizes the blood of the Messiah. And I thank You Father, that the sons blood was shed for me at the cross of Calvary, my transgressions were now my fears were now my sickness was now my my worries, my doubts were now my my, my unstability was now waved at him in a word as it was, he pulled out from law of my mind my thinking was now to the cross. My doubts were now to the cross. Everything that is on me was now to the cross, the Calvary my sins, my transgressions. My liquids is everything Lord of the flesh was now to the cross. But Lord through it being now to the cross, I am free. Because who the sun sets free, is free indeed, wash me and cleanse me in the blood of the Messiah in Jesus name, amen. I'm finding as we as we are being more real, and as God is allowing us to be more real, simply because of the process of lockdown. And as God has just opened up the doors like the barn doors have been blown open and there is freedom like we've never had before. Many want to go back to Pharaoh, many want to go back to religion, and that's Pharaoh, many want to go back there but there are many wanting to break out. There are many on the freedom run. There are many on the desert run. There are many in the 5050 position. Halfway. Don't look back at Pharaoh, keep going. Keep going to Jesus keep going to the Promised Land. Keep keep keep keep going keep it just take it as a picture former's as a rugby scrum. You will get down in the scrum. Have faith and we push and we push against the opponent and we keep pushing, and we never give up, we push until we get over, we keep going and we keep going insurance is going to take endurance. Every one of us needs to learn and to understand what endurance means. If you look at an endurance cyclist, a cyclist, that's an endurance cyclist that out hours and the hours and the hours an athlete, they're training to endure, they're training to break through the pain barrier. They're training to break through whereas what we're doing, we're enduring the hardship of life we're pushing through. As the New Testament writer writes, Paul writes, I know what it's like to endure, I know what it's like to be well fed. I know what it's like to be hungry. I know what it's like to have plenty. I know what it's like to be in one. But but all things I know that my God, the God of hope, will always supply God will always get me through. So insurance we need to ensure we need to go through we understand that the battle belongs to the Lord. But we got to endure, we got to continue the race. To get to the finish line. We keep going and we endure. That's it. We're done. We're out of here. May God bless you wherever you are tonight. This is the day that the Lord has made I shall rejoice and be glad you are chosen, you are blessed. You are blessed and highly favored. You are a child of the living God. And wherever you sit tonight on the earth, wherever you walked in on the earth, wherever your home is, wherever your resident is, residents in Surrey, wherever you are tonight across planning, God is with you. You are blessed, you are chosen. You are saved. Have a wonderful evening.
