Thank you so much for joining us tonight as we gather around the word of God as we just rested, we'd be still, as we trust in the unfailing Word of the living God, I just pray that wherever you are this evening, God will strengthen you've got to guide you, God will heal you, God will lead you into new beginnings. And there are just two places that I would like us to turn to, if you will, and then you're going to stay with me for about 45 minutes or so to see how we go. We're gonna be turning into the book of Philippians chapter four Philippians chapter four. But as we just wait for those that are popping online as they join us for these moments. Thank you. And we're going for the first thing, one verse there and then also we will dive straight into two Corinthians chapter 12. Chapter 12, from roundabout, verse seven, from roundabout seven, but let's just give everybody a moment just to join us they catch up with us. Yes, good evening, God bless you. As I said earlier, thank you to everybody that's joining this live stream Bible study tonight as we just gather around the world and all those that are in the world of podcasts. But it's we just see what God's Word is saying to us. I just pray that wherever you are across the world, on this Wednesday evening that you will just trusting God in every area of your life. And what's fascinating to me tonight is what God is doing. God is doing great and got it doing powerful things and God is moving in areas I never thought I would expect to see him move, which is quite a crazy thing to say really, when you when you understand that we serve a supernatural God. And he's doing great, and he's doing powerful things. And that's the issue that I have is anticipating my God trying to work out how he's going to move and trying to go in my strength and go in my will my way when actually it's all about him and submission and surrender and coming over to him and trusting in Him. Walking with him is such a powerful thing to do. But to actually do that is a very difficult thing to do when we are living in a world that's politically driven when it's driven by the money markets when it's driven by the social areas of life when it's driven by culture, driven by, as we said, finance liquidity, and it's driven by all that sort of stuff. And the political areas of life are driving it and everything we see is just before our eyes when actually the Bible says the just shall live by faith. And I pray that wherever you ought to know that you will live by faith that you will not look at what man is saying and what man is doing. But you will just live by faith. You know, we are living in really refreshing times really refreshing times at this moment. So let's get into the Word of God without any further ado, and let's just see what God's word says in verse 13, of Philippians chapter three writings of Paul, when we see who the author is and how much he's written, and how much he's put together for us believers, a mass percentage of the New Testament that that he has written and when you understand how, and where he comes from, and what angle is coming from is completely led by the Holy Spirit completely guided by the Holy Spirit. Everything is led by the Spirit, everything is guided by the Spirit. Everything is driven by the Spirit. Everything is comes to him through revelation or knowledge as he experiences the hardships of life and the different issues and the perils that face him before but let's just just jump straight into verse 13. and need to be very careful. His text, this text is a very interesting text. It's a text that opens up opens up so much. But I got to be very careful. There's a believer from the evangelical world, from the Pentecostal world. From from that side of the church. I've got to be very careful. Because when he says in verse 13, of Philippians, chapter four, he says, I can do all things through him that gives me strength. We've got to be careful that doesn't become a motivational. That doesn't become a tax where as for me, I can become this supernatural being and I can do anything and I I'm able to do anything. But what this does is it reminds me that I can only do things and I can only do certain areas and certain ways of life I can only be who I am because of him, because everything is for him and about him. And when it says in verse 13, of Philippians, chapter four, I can do all things through Him who gives me strength, everything is through him, everything is through the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, nothing can be done, except through. And except with. So as the writer writes, I can do all things. I can do all things, I can do all this through Him who gives me strength, depending on what translation we're reading from, but I'm coming from the NIV. And there's a slight variation, I can do all this through Him who gives me strength. It is Christ, it is Christ. It strengthens me. It is Christ. It strengthens you. It is the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. We understand about the deity we understand about the Trinity, the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, that I cannot do anything in my own strength. And we are living in times when we are weary when we're tired. There is a lot of burnout, burnout, there's a lot of weariness, there's a lot of expectation from work. There's a lot of expectation from family, you know, single parent families, even in, in certain areas of life we are expected to perform everything seems to be performance related to that everything is measured. Everything we do is measured. Everything at work is measured by by volume, by statistics. Everything is measured by by charts by a forecast and everything in the political areas of life is it everything is measured. We live in a world that is measured. But the scripture says The just shall live by faith. So how can I live in faith? How do I learn to live in faith? How do I learn to walk by faith Hebrews 11 verse one, you might want to turn now and see what it says in Hebrews 11 verse one, it talks about faith. Faith is the is the substance of things hoped for. The evidence of things not seen. Faith is faith is so critical for me as a believer that I have faith in God. And the scripture says just believe that can be so difficult to do is just believe in a world that is driven by socialism that is driven by finance that is driven by the political agenda, driven by management, driven by statistics, driven by what we see everything we can have it when you want it, now it's yours. Go grab it, do what you like sort of world that we live in. But I've got to understand that I will find that I will burn out if I do everything in my own strength. And we are hitting a point. And we have hit that point for a long time now, where we are starting to see people in church, our church, in faith, out of faith, in business, out of business, in culture, out of certain cultures, in pastors, ships, leaders, whatever across the platform of every layer of life. People are reaching a place of burnout, where we're doing everything, everything is just continuous or continuous all the time. What stops us burning out is understanding where we should be in Christ. And understanding that yes, I can do all things through him that strengthens me. And I got to make sure that I'm in him now. The scripture makes it clear I am the Way the Truth and the Life No one comes to the Father, except through me. So everything is done through Christ, everything is through Christ. Everything was created for him and by him. The scriptures in Colossians makes it very clear. He says that he is the creator of all things on having enough and everything is about him. But now we are living in times where measures are not working when political agendas are not working. When military issues are not working. When the food isn't stretching when the supplier seems to be falling short. We're living in times where measures when man's measures are failing. So this is a time where my faith has to rise within myself that my faith in my God and my king, the faith that I have in the Father, the Son the Holy Spirit. Faith is very powerful. And faith is is invisible. How do we measure faith you you can't measure faith faith is is gauged with I can muster. See we understand that the scripture says that Jesus says faith is the size of a mustard seed and as as it gets watered, it grows like the oak tree but I've got to get in the Word. So how does my faith grow? It says very clearly in the book of Romans, that faith comes from hearing the message and the message is heard through the word of God. So I've got to hear the word, but I've got to be in the word and I've got to stay in the word I've got to be obedient to the word. But the hardest thing that anyone will be is obedient to God's word living in a world that everything is driven by visual everything is driven by senses everything is driven by the political agenda. Everything is driven by measures everything is driven by your social circle. Everything is driven by by the world in which we live in and to live completely out of that can be the most difficult thing to do. So there is a tiredness there is a weariness, there is a there is almost a lonely feeling. Dealing amongst many people, people in church, out of the church, in business, out of business in culture, different cultures, different pressures of life. But the Scripture makes this really, really clear. Let's turn. Let's go over. Now let's go to two Corinthians chapter 12. Two Corinthians chapter 12. And I'm gonna pick the text out from verse seven. And I'll read to the end of verse 10. And let's just see how God is gonna reveal and I believe God will reveal this. As we start reading, I believe that the Holy Spirit will, will be the teacher that you need to know I believe the Holy Spirit will teach you and guide you, through your life through for every area for God will navigate you through, you know we are living in, in a world that is everything about control, you know, I'm putting on my phone now. But you got everything on that phone, you got a sat nav system. And that's what I'm talking about a tracking system, you can find your way all around the world by just following the screen. But that is that is visual, but to go by faith, not to have a sat nav not to have an agenda, not to have a end of the address that is in your eyes, but literally, to go by faith, Lord, I don't want to anticipate my life. Lord, I want to go by faith, you know. And as we read again, about this writer, the same writer that we were looking at, if we can just turn very, very quickly as we can, to two Corinthians chapter 12, verse seven, or because of the surpassing great revelations, therefore, there was given me to keep me becoming conceited, that was given me a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment Three times I pleaded with the Lord, to take it away from me, but he said, My grace is sufficient for you. I'm not looking. And I'm not going to go into that for part of what we just read. But I just want to let you know that God's grace is sufficient for you. God's grace is enough for you. God's grace is all that we need. God's grace is everything that we require His sovereignty is everything we require. His Holiness is everything we need is His provision is everything we need. And as the the New Testament writer writes very clearly, and very powerfully, he says, Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power. Now, this is where we come into a really interesting part of the text, where we've got to understand that we cannot go by our physical being, we cannot go by the strength of our physical being, we cannot go by our humanity and by our articulation, by our anticipation, by thinking by our thoughts, by our logic, by the process of life, by the philosophies that we may be thinking, you might be a great thinker, you might be a great learner, you might be well educated, you might be in an area of business and life where your mind has been used, your brain has been used, and you are a thinker, and you're always thinking your own, you're always anticipating and you're always planning but that's not what faith is, Faith is going with, with no agenda with no for forbearance on what lies ahead. So as we are in this situation, you know, it doesn't matter about our educational standpoint, it doesn't matter about our, our financial strength, it doesn't matter what side of the tracks we was born on, it doesn't matter where we come from in culture, it doesn't matter about any of that doesn't matter where we was educated, whether Oxford or any university or we wasn't even educated, that has no forbearance of of any of this in the kingdom of God, because the Kingdom of God is the king's domain. And I cannot educate my way into the kingdom, I cannot philosophy my way. And I cannot get through there through physics, through science, through any natural reasoning through humanity. But as you look at this writer, there's something that really penetrate penetrated my heart tonight. And as we get, I'm just going to read from verse eight against his Three times I pleaded with the Lord, that you will take it from me but he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you. For my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me there is something very interesting, there is something very intriguing when I realized that I cannot go any more in my own strength. When I realized I can't go any more in my own strength when I realized that I can't do this on my own that I need supernatural intervention. I need this supernatural God, to take away the worries to take away the fears to take away situations around me and to guide me. See, we cannot anticipate God's move. We cannot physically understand that we are of this physical world we are of this dimension that we see that is in front of us and which is around us. It doesn't matter about our educational standpoint. It doesn't matter about academics. It doesn't matter how great we are in academia. It doesn't matter about what skill sets we carry. It doesn't matter how much money is in the bank. See, what we are looking at here is that we are looking at a world we are looking at a nation we are looking at people in the general run of life, whether we're in business, we're employed or unemployed at home, whatever we do, we are tired there we are in a generation of where people are tired. Parents are tired. Grandparents are taught, whoever we are, whether we got children, whether we haven't got children, whether we're a man or a woman, humanity is tired, we have reached the wall, we are reaching, and we have reached a wall, where the physical world has reached a point where it can't go on anymore. And we are seeing breakdown, we are seeing systems break down, we are seeing certain areas of business broken down, we're seeing the finance markets collapse, we're seeing the banks, struggling, we're seeing the NHS, we're seeing the political areas of life stretch, we're seeing education, stretch, we're seeing people are exhausted and tired. We, as human beings need to go by it by faith by faith, and I'm saying human beings. And I'm saying because we don't know who's saved and who's not saved. It's not for the church to say who's a believer and who's not a believer, that is between the individual and God and that will be quite surprising when God calls us home. Just because people don't go into church doesn't mean to say that they don't have a faith in the eternal God because church religion I should say rather put it the the establishment. The establishment has bruised a lot of people through religion and through the wrong teaching, and not bringing doctrines of Christ across the pulpits because Christ does not condemn Because Romans chapter eight, verse one, four, there is now no condemnation for those that are in Christ Jesus for what the law was powerless to do, God did by sending His one and only son. So there was given a redemption plan Christ is our Redeemer, as we know, for the study and through hermeneutics for the Word of God when we when we go deeper in the word, human, as a human being, I should say, when I look at the word as a human being, I come to a point where I could stumble, as in learning because I cannot learn my way to God, God, God reveals His Word to us. So through the study of the Word, through theology, through God, revealing even theologians hit a point in their study, we hit points in our study, in our work we've got where we can't go any further because the human mind cannot work out what God is going to do. And it is only through the power of the Holy Spirit that God reveals His word that God opens us up that His word is revealed to each and every one of us. You know, the great philosophers, the great thinkers, the great ones that foretold things, the ones that the educators of life, they're this great scientists, the great philosophers of this world, the thinkers, all this, we can only go thus far, we hit a ceiling level, in knowledge, we hit a ceiling level in skill set, we hit a ceiling level in in logic, because we cannot work out this supernatural God. So when we talk about grace, and we talk about faith, sometimes it feels that it just goes over our head. Now this is where I need the power of the Holy Spirit. The power of the Holy Spirit reveals his words, each and every one of us, we may be great in our skill set, you might be really gifted in your natural ability, but your natural ability will not and cannot anticipate what God has for you. So what I want to get to tonight is something really interesting how we've reached burnout, there are many ministers there are many in congregations, there are many believers that have hit a wall hit a wall, in religion, Hill wall in their work, hit Oh, hit a wall, and they're almost losing vision. And understanding that is, that's for a very few reasons. A couple of reasons are is that they are in positions that they should not be in positions of the positions that they are in, that they are not called into the position and I'm being very respectful here. We have a lot of leaders that are in positions of leadership. They have great natural skill sets and natural abilities of the human being. But when it comes to navigating and leaning in the Lord, you have to know that you are called to a pastor, Pastor ship, or you're an evangelist or you are called to whatever that may be, you know, the fivefold ministry that we read about. So we are finding that we are hitting, and we have hit many walls we are finding that ministers and leaders, many congregations are tired and weary, and we can't foretell on foresee what lies ahead because even though COVID-19 is blowing out the window, and we seem to see that disappearing, we are in a spiritual crisis and the crisis that we are in is because certain leaders and certain denominations, I've been saying this for a while and I'm going to keep repeating this until God takes me off this drum skin of this one of this this drumbeat that is rolling around the church needs to teach the church needs to teach Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, it needs to teach Genesis to Revelation, it needs to teach about the blood of Jesus, it needs to talk about repentance, it needs to talk about the blood of Christ, the birth, the death, the resurrection, it needs to talk about grace, it needs to talk about the understanding of sin and how we get to what we are, and it needs to talk about and to speak into, to teach on creation. Once I know and get into Genesis and I understand creation, suddenly, my theology and my understanding through studying creation, gives me a wider press. But it's not just my natural ability. Because as I study God's Word, we might find that we hit places in our life, in our study time, and our reading and our thinking, or in our Thought for the Day and everything that goes along with that we might hit ceiling points. That is because obviously, we are human beings. And a human being only has a certain level and a capability of understanding God's Word, to a certain degree. Yes, we can read it, we can understand it, we get an outline understanding. But there comes a point in someone's walk with Christ where we need revelation on knowledge, where God reveals the deeper things, the wider things, the bigger things of him. So that's where the scripture says His ways are higher than our ways his thoughts are vaster than our thoughts. There is so much to get from the Word of God through just saying to God, Lord, I need you to help me tonight to understand more of your work because I'm hungry, and I want to grow and I want to move forward in my faith. But what we are finding that we are in, in the westernized Church, the women, the westernized church, everything is given through articulating and everything is given through skill sets, everything is given given through courses, everything is given through opinions, everything is given through a motivational speech, rather than the pastor or the leader, or the preacher or the teacher, God revealing because when I rest in Him, I'm relying on his word to be revealed to me. And that is in any context of whoever we are in Christ, that God will reveal. So what we are finding that we are seeing in denominations, we are sending congregations, many people that have hit walls, or where they are burn out where they are exhausted, because we are finding that we have lots of people dotted around denominations within church settings within leadership within the church and believers, uncomfortable in denominations because that's where we're that we're sorry, that's not where God wants us to be. So we are hitting and we are finding that we are reaching stages in an almost division in certain areas where humanity can't think anymore, we have run out of answers to the, to the world in which we live. This is where we need supernatural intervention and divine intervention. And this is where we need revelation of knowledge for God to guide you and for God to guide me in the path of life. So the psalmist writes, in Psalm 23, even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil because you are with me, there are many people walking through the valley, not realizing that God is with them, because they are are trying to anticipate and trying to roadmap and trying to work out how God is going to move next. But the Bible says, The just shall live by faith. So if I go by faith, I'm going by divine intervention of the Holy God of Israel, when I go by His will and His purpose, it gives me I will, I will use the word the energy, it will give me the drive, it will give me the endurance and the capabilities to go further than I wouldn't be able to go if I was going in my natural skill set. Because if I go my natural skill set skill set, sorry, my learning capabilities and the physical me, I will hit a point because God is calling and when God calls you, and God is calling you tonight, God is drawing you closer. God is drawing you closer like never before. And I pray right now, wherever you are, you will feel the love of God, the power of the Holy Spirit. But I just want to just want to go on a little bit further in this. Let me just finish what I was saying. And let's just go on a little bit further. He says My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. So when I'm in my weakness when I'm in the lesser of Me, His power is made perfect within me. So his power his ministry, his strength, the power of the Holy Spirit will give us the supernatural strength to go further. Not because he has enabled us and has equipped us to be little gods as certain ministries tell us but when we go in the Spirit of the Living God, you will find that you will be able to run further than you ever thought that you could run. You will have the arrow say the energy but you I would say what I should really say is that you have the The power of the Holy Spirit to give you the endurance to keep going. But when I go in my own capabilities and my own strength, I will find that my natural body will wear out, we'll get tired, we'll get exhausted, we'll get weary, we'll get almost press so hard that it makes you want to give up. So this is where the Scripture is really, really critical for me, as a believer that if I feel that there is a burnout, feeling coming upon me, if I feel that I'm hitting walls, and I can't seem to get the energy, and I can't seem to find that place anymore, that I'm almost losing the enthusiasm, not not just for life, but just the zeal for for anything, everything is becoming hard. Everything is becoming treacherous. Everything is becoming really difficult. I don't want to get up in the morning, I don't want to go out the door anymore. And I'm finding everything so difficult. That is because we are going in our natural ability, and the world has hit through COVID-19 and the stresses of life and all the strains that are on us that we cannot go in our own strength, your body will wear out, you will hit walls, you will hit places where fear will come against you. Fear will come upon you worry will come upon you because when I worry, I am not obviously in faith, when I'm in faith, I'm in complete surrender. The just shall live by faith. Now that is going to be the hardest that possibly is the hardest. That is the most difficult thing for a believer to do. And not so much where believers lose their faith there because we can't lose our faith. It's like we can't lose our salvation, it's been given. So that seed is there that faith seed is there. But what happens is the mindset, the logic, the thinking, the anticipation overtakes our faith, not because we are weak in our faith, but the surrounding areas around us. Our eyes are fixed on familiar territory, when God is calling you tonight. God is pulling you tonight into new territory, God is calling you but it's gonna take faith to go through a door that we never thought God would open to step into a territory that is your territory, that every place that the soul of my foot shall tread upon is my territory, God is calling you into new beginnings. God is calling you into new areas of life. And when you look at this scripture, it talks about weakness, it talks about the power of God, it talks about the grace of God. Now, if we were just to quickly to flick back, flick back to Philippians chapter four, if you turn to Philippians, chapter four, verse 13, it says, I can do all things through him that gives me strength, everything is possible. What you have ahead of you is possible to achieve not because you are strong in yourself and your physical capability and capabilities, but not because of your educational uplift not because of the finances that are around you. Not because of the people that are around you, but because he is with you. So God is with you. You do not need money in the kingdom of God, you do not need a great education or press in the kingdom of God. You do not need people around you have an open checkbook to see what God is going to do when you go in the kingdom of God. You are not going in your own strength, you are not going in your own skill set. You are not going in your own capabilities, you are going purely in the strength of the living God. So in Philippians, chapter four, verse 13, it says I can do all things through Him, who gives me strength. I can do all everything i is achievable. But everything is not permissible. The Scripture says, so I've got to work out what is my calling? Where is God calling me to be? If I'm walking in the calling, or the area of life that God is calling me to be, I will find that I won't hit burnout. I won't hit an area of overstressing. But even the scripture says God will not give us more than we can bear. So faith has to rise above How does my faith rise? The scripture says faith comes from hearing and hearing the message which is the word of God. I've got to hear the Word of God. I've got to get God's Word into my innermost being an out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water. See when God fuels me, when God guides me, and God strengthens me. And I'm not going in my own skill set. My I'm not going in academics. I'm not going in knowledge. I'm not going in philosophy. I'm not going in the physics of life and the natural logic of life. I'm not going in knowledge that has to cease. But we are finding that there are leaders that are leading churches and denominations are they're going in their understanding, they're going in their strength. They're going in their own capabilities, they're going in their own anticipation. So we are finding that we are hitting walls across every denomination within church women congregations, men, women brothers Sisters are wearing themselves out. Because we are going in our own strength. And we have hit strategic points over this last three years where we are absolutely exhausted. And if you are exhausted tonight, I pray that God will reveal what he wants and what His plan and His purpose is for you. So wherever you are across this earth tonight, I believe God is speaking directly into your innermost being. There are many of us in jobs that we shouldn't be in. There are many of us leading churches that we shouldn't be leading. There are many that are calling themselves evangelists, when we're not evangelists, there are many call themselves preachers and teachers that are not preachers and teachers. There are many that are putting themselves in imposters positions when they're not pastors. You know, we are living in a world where you can do anything when you want to do it. And however you want it to do it. But in the kingdom of God, what we are starting to see now is the church is not on the decline. But what we are seeing is religion is really struggling to move forward. Because there are a lot of people that think that they've been called by God, and actually put themselves in positions of their own accord, because the congregation or someone around them and said, I think you'll make a good leader, you will do this, you will do that. Rather than seeking the face and the for calling of God on your life or on my life. God, I am starting to understand what God is calling me to. It has taken 2425 years for me making some mistake after mistake after mistake, running, running, running, running, running before him, you know, way out in front of him almost exhausting myself. But now I'm finding that I have an energy that my my body cannot produce that it is only through divine intervention of the supernatural God. But it has to come to a place where we hit a wall as a human being and say, God, what do you want from me? What is the calling on my life? Now straight away? People say well, hang on, I'm not cold. The Scripture tells us all of us are called. Many are called few are chosen. Now. I'm not just looking at this scripture as a ministerial scriptures. I'm looking at wherever we are in business in life, whether we're employed, unemployed, whatever our situation is, across the earth. Where does God want me to be ally where God wants me to be? It doesn't just apply to those that are behind pulpits. Now. I'm going to read from Philippians chapter four, verse 13, I can do all things through Him, everything is through him. So when I go through him, I I'm not doing what my own plans are, I'm not going on my own understanding when I go through him. All things are possible to those who believe I got to be careful that I don't take attacks out of context, I got to make sure that I'm in my colon. If I stay in my colon, if I keep in my calling, I can do all things. But the only all I can do are the things that he is calling me to do. Because if I come out of my calling, if I come out of what God is calling you to do, and that may be in every area of life, God may be calling you to business, God may be calling you into ministry, maybe God is calling you out of ministry. Maybe God is calling you to do something very different that you never thought it's not always to do with ministry. It's about living the life and the lifestyle he expects us to live a certain postcode Am I live in where God wants me to live? Am I in the correct area? Am I in the right denomination? It opens up so much. So it's really important that I understand what God is calling me to, when I understand what he's calling me to and where he's calling me into, then I will not go in my own strength. I will be coming out of the Garden of Gethsemane Father, what ever your will is, I pray that you will give me the strength to say not my will but your will be done. When I go in the will of the Father, I leave my physical capabilities, I leave my physical being behind and I go in the will of the supernatural God because you was called by a supernatural God, the God of Israel is calling you. age, age is a very interesting thing in the world. The world will gauge and tell you that you are only able to do certain things in the age bracket that you live in. Well when you look at the kingdom of God, age is irrelevant, because age is of this natural world. And God does not look at our age. Yes, I know the Scripture talks about threescore years and 10 but that is the timeline in which we will be living on the earth, threescore years and 10 but when you have a colon Your age is irrelevant. But when you go in the world age is absolutely critical. So the older we get the the world tells us that we Are we are not able to do certain things. When that is in the world, when I'm not on the world, I'm part of the Kingdom of God. So this is really important to me that age is irrelevant when I'm in the Father's will, because the Father's Will will give me energy. So my age becomes irrelevant to what God is doing in my life. But my age is important to statistics in the world, because the world wants to measure, but there is no measure in the kingdom of God. So when the Scripture says, I can do all things through him that strengthens me, it is regardless of age of culture of life, or wherever we've come from. So what is really important is that I do not allow myself to be governed and to be gauged by the age that I am, or whatever culture I'm from, or whatever that culture is saying, because I must understand that I belong to the kingdom of God, and the kingdom of God has no timeline, the kingdom of God has a I will say it has a beginning and it has an end. Because we understand what what is speaking about the rapture and everything, but eternity, we serve a God of eternity. So there is no age in the kingdom of God. So my age is irrelevant to what God is calling me to do. Your age is irrelevant to what God is calling you to do. But the world and religion and church, you know, isn't it interesting what church and religion say about youth pastors, we are looking for youth pastors, we want you when actually I won't go into that area tonight, because it's quite a bit of a, it's quite a bit of a press, you know, and I've got to be careful our word things, but I just want you to know that your age is irrelevant to God. Your skill set is irrelevant to God. It doesn't matter about the financial press that you have, or you don't have. It's all about by going by faith, if you are weary. The prayer tonight is his Lord, strengthen me. And let me realize, Lord, the calling that you've called me to be into, and the area of life so when you read about this writer, he says, I can do all things through Him who gives me strength, age is irrelevant. Let's turn let's turn. Let's go to two Corinthians, two Corinthians chapter 12. In our lesson, two Corinthians chapter 12, as we see what the Word of God says, The Word is on point. Three times I pleaded with the Lord. Two Corinthians chapter 12, verse eight, sorry, Three times I pleaded with the Lord, to take it away from me. But he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you. For my power is made perfect in weakness. When I am weak than his strong, when I am physically weary, he will carry me. So there comes a point in someone's life, and in someone's walk with Christ when we have to lay our physical understanding down and we have to lay our physical being down, we have to Matt come to this word, the word surrender. When I surrender my life, I surrender every area of my life. Suddenly, I realized that my age, and my culture, and I will say, my gender, and whoever I am in Christ has no forbearance, because he is he is called me, and he is guiding me and he is strengthening me, because everything is done through him. I can do all things through Him. He is the him he is before or he created all things, it is Christ. So through Christ, God will show you the way to go. But the scripture says, Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and everything else shall be added unto the seeking God is the most powerful, and the greatest thing that I will ever do. But I can only seek this eternal God, when I suddenly realized that this eternal God is real. Because every one of us I will put it like this, every one of us was an atheist at one point in some of our lives, and in certain points of our lives, we did not and we did not come into this world, believing in the Lord Jesus Christ. On the timeline of life, you will find that there will be a fair part of our journey where we wasn't even thinking of God, where we wasn't even interested in our God, because that is because God wasn't calling us at that moment in time, even though our lives are in Him. And for him out of Su our skin that we live in, wasn't ready to recognize this eternal God. There's a lot going on here tonight. So opcion son, so as you look at that scripture, we go a little bit, a little bit deeper. And as God opens up this scripture, let's have a look. Let's go a little bit further. It says Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power, whose power, His power, His power is different to my strength. His power has nothing to do with physical capability, because he is an eternal God. He is before time he created time, he's before eternity even came to into existence. He is before the first star that was putting us in the skies, he was before the first grain of sand that was created. So if I come to an understanding of understanding who this eternal God is the God of Israel, suddenly I realized that I'm not going in my skill set, I'm not going in my Academic Press, I'm not going in the value of money that I have. It is so clear, that we often value and often not we look at the pound sign before we look at God, we limit ourselves as human beings in such in so many ways in this world, if we think that we got no money that we look at, and we think I ain't got no money I can't do. So the pound and the cost and the financial value is nothing to do with the kingdom of God. Money is not leaning and not restricted by what God you know, if God has called you, and God is driving you, and God is for you, we suddenly realize that money has no forbearance on what God is going to do, because our eyes are focused on Him focused on the calling, focused on him seeking first the kingdom of God, then suddenly, everything else around me the pressure of money disappears, the pressure of being who the world wants me to be the pressure of work, the pressure of life, the pressure of whether you're married or not married, whether you're a parent, or you're not a parent, whoever you are, when I seek God, suddenly, I realized that everything around me has no eternal value. But all the time I'm looking at this earth, I realized that I am trusting more in finances, I'm trusting more on Universal Credit. I'm trusting more in work, I'm trusting more in leadership, I'm trusting more ABC and D. The more I do that, it's not so much God leaves me or I leave God, it's just my naturalize my naturalized just focus on what is around me. But there's coming a point and there may be many at this point now that we gotta live by faith, The just shall live by faith, we may be sent and I'm really tired, it's okay to be really tired. If we have reached a point where we say I am really tired. Is everything in my life relevant for me as a human being? Am I in this situation? Because I want to be in this situation? Am I in this workplace? Because I wanted that job? Am I in this relationship? Because I thought it was where I was meant to be? Am I at this school? Am I at this place? Am I at this university? Am I in this job? I am I in this postcode Am I in? When really we should be saying, Lord, what do you want from me? Where do you want me to be? And what part of this globe Do you want me to be part of? Where do I fit in the kingdom of God? What is your calling? So we have we are and we have seen a lot of people within the church on the fringe of church, suddenly hitting these burnout places, these places of being completely burnt out exhausted. Because we are taking our natural ability into the context and into the situations of church and we are trying to run church we're trying to run our lives. And we get confused between the spiritual call and the natural call. So this is this is critical for me as a believer tonight to say God, I need your Lord to fuel me Lord, I need you to call me Lord, I need you to fill me with more of your word. Because when your word fills me more when your presence carries me more, I am not going in my physical realm. I'm not going in my own strength. There are many of us running in our own strength. That is because the world is requiring so much of you. It's impossible to please the world. It is almost impossible to please everybody in your family. It is almost impossible to please everybody in your workspace. It is almost impossible to place the pastors and the leaders because we have such a press on humanity to perform. The church has been very theatrical and very performance related, when actually it's not been in the kingdom. I've got a Lord, I pray that you will recalibrate that you will refocus my vision. Lord, I've got to be focused on you the King of kings and the Lord of lords. We're coming we're going to run out of time very very soon. But as you look at this text, and I pray that God will take you deeper into this It's an I, I've just thrown over a blanket over this tonight. And I pray that through the power of revelation or knowledge, God will take you deeper into a study into into a greater press in the Word of God. And he says, the writer writes in verse nine, of two Corinthians, chapter 12, verse nine, but he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore, I will boast order more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. Christ power rests on me, when he rests on me, I am going by him, and everything is for him rather than me going to my own strength, my own will my own anticipation, my own understanding my own logic, my own reason in my own philosophies and my own thinking, and through physics and through mathematics, and through science, and all this but there's coming a point and I believe that there may be many tonight that have hit this wall of life that are just feel like you're just trudging and just pressing on, what is the purpose? What is the purpose? There's this cry coming out of the church coming out of pulpits? What is the purpose? The purpose is, is to surrender to God. To surrender. I need to surrender my entire innermost being. But you might say, well, you spoken about predestination, predestination, is about salvation. So when I'm saved, suddenly, my my physical me is alerted to the supernatural God. In my physical me, I cannot work out and understand this supernatural God, God presents himself to humanity. Humanity then suddenly goes, Ah, hang on a moment. He is the King of kings, and he is the Lord of lords. And we get that over our lives that we are Christians, what does that mean? Christ in me, Christ in me. So if Christ is in me, Christ is for me. The Scripture says, work out your salvation with fear and trembling. But I would like to leave us with this text tonight that we have been reading. And I'm just going to take us back to that one where we started. And if you can just wait a moment, as I just said, Just flick these pages of the Word of God open again. So we're going to go to Philippians chapter four, verse 13, I can do all this through him, who gives me strength. I can do all this all what all what God is calling me to all this life that God is calling me to every area of life, but there are many of us that have not seek ye first the kingdom of God, I cannot seek until he is presented. Once he is presented, then I start seeking. Now your salvation is given. Your salvation is assured your salvation can never be taken, your your your, your very salvation that you are resting in, can never be snatched away from you, once saved, always saved, you are saved, you are belonging, and you belong to the kingdom of God, you are a child of the living God, you may be a brother or sister, you may be a teacher in in to what we are looking at tonight may be sitting on the fringe and just dipping in or whatever you may be scrolling across the socials. But let me just remind you that every one of us was an atheist at one point in our life. No one came into this world, jumping up and down from the maternity suite saying I love Jesus with all my heart, even when we became and we start to grow up as a young infant, God had to present himself to each and every one of us. So there was points in our lives where there was no mechanism or faith, there was no measure of faith, but God presents Himself to us. And age is irrelevant. The age of us is irrelevant to what God has for us. God is not worried how old we are. God is not worried of what culture we come from. God is not worried. If we are saying to him, God, I can't go any further. I've got no money. I can't. God does not operate. God created the heavens and the earth, and He created you. Your age and my age is irrelevant in the kingdom of God. God has given you the strength and the capabilities through the power of the Holy Spirit, through his words to keep enduring, the road of endurance, the narrow path of faith, keep walking for Christ. Keep walking for God. There might come times there may be times on your lives at this moment of persecution, or famine, nakedness, danger or peril of sword. But nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus, all the scriptures that we talked about, and we reference and the biblical reference points are obviously speaking about Christ, so everything is done through him. him, if I'm getting so weary of life, maybe there are certain areas of my life that I'm not going through him that I'm holding back and I'm holding on to certain areas of my life rather than leaning into him. See, when I lean in, I take the physical weight from myself, and I hand it over to God. So when I lean into Jesus, I'm literally putting my complete bodyweight, onto the Messiah, maybe it's time that I need to lean into Jesus so that I take the weight off of my physical being, and I present my entire being to the King of kings and the Lord of lords. God is with you, God will never leave you nor forsake you. But we are living in a world where everything is physical, where everything is visual, and everything is right now you can have it now. We are living in a world that is driven by political agendas, we are living in a world that is governed by what science is telling us, we are living in a world that is governed by money, and notoriety when the kingdom of God is the complete opposite to what I am saying. We we walk, and we live, and we operate in the world, but we are not part of the world. That's what the scripture says. So the just shall live by faith, My God shall supply all my needs, according to his riches in glory, the more I seek him, and I must say this very quickly in closing, the more I seek him, I might find that I think that I'm further from him. It's not because I am further from him, because he called me in my thinking. So he has called us in our thinking He has called us in our education, he has called us in our skill set, he has called you, and he is taking you deeper into a walk with Him. But the but the issue that we have is that there are many that are reaching a point of I've had enough, I'm tired, and I'm weary, I can't go on anymore. Thank God that us we you who meet whoever we may be, have reached points in our lives where we go, I can't go on anymore. That's a good place to be the good place. And the good point of that is that I've got to get more into Jesus. The more I get into him and get into his word, he is already in me, he is away, he is already within me. I can't get any more God in me than God. Because God is. He is He is alpha, he is omega. He is on the present. He is omnipotent. He is in all, he's about time he created time. So you have the fullness of God, the fullness and his riches in you. So you have everything. God has got you. If you are feeling weary and tired. Just call out to Him tonight and say, Father, help me Lord, to get on that right path again. Help me Lord, recalibrate my mind helped me to refocus. Help me, Lord, to draw nearer to you, Lord, and as I draw nearer to you, you'll draw nearer to me. You are not on your own. God is with you. God is for you and not against you. You are blessed and highly favored and wonderfully and fearfully made. But the two reference points we have are coming from Philippians chapter four, verse 13, I can do all this through him that strengthens me. And then also we was in two Corinthians chapter 12, verses seven, through to Ron about verse 10. And I'm just referring to weakness, and I'm not referring to weakness in sin, but I'm referring to the into the weakness of the way that we are feeling tired and weary. And almost at that road at that hurdle, we can't we like the athlete that can't jump over the other hurdle of life. We've reached that wall, we've reached the Jericho, we're seeing glass that we just want to run from where we're hitting walls of Jericho in our lives. We're a place of surrender. Religion is a place that surrender leaders are at a place of surrender. I am at a place of surrender. You are at a place of surrender. That is where we always will be. Because once I surrender, and then once I come to that place, I gotta be careful that I don't operate again in my flesh. So we are in a in a continuum into a position of saying, Father, help me guide me Lord and strength for me. May God bless you wherever you are tonight.
