Reverend Ben Cooper:

Good morning, everybody. God bless you. We are 13 minutes late. We are so sorry. God bless you wherever you are across the world this morning. Thank you so much for joining us here for coffee and prayer. We got one missing this morning. I have a lovely break, Donny. God bless you. Thank you so much for joining us across the world. Whatever your time is the time now is 944. In the UK at this moment in time, may God bless you and strengthen you. In the Glorious Name of Jesus Christ. This is the day that the Lord has made we shall rejoice and be glad God is with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. We're going to turn to the book of Romans, Romans chapter eight, verse 37. I just feel really led into this this morning. Verse 37. Yes, thank you to all those that are coming online this morning across this earth. Thank you so much for all those in the world of podcasts and the chairs. Everything that goes on here at Elim church, you can find this on Buzzsprout, Spotify, I heart, radio, and so many other social platforms. Good morning, the music has finished and we're in and God be with you. In the mighty name of Jesus, grab yourself some coffee, grab yourself, your Bible or whether you're walking whatever you may be doing this morning, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. As we just turned into the New Testament, we're going into the book of Romans chapter eight, verse 37, through to the end of verse 39. A very, I would when I say famous, I would say a very popular text, and a very interesting text. And it says no in all things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I'm convinced neither death nor life nor angels nor demons know the present or the future, not any powers, neither height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. I just want to let you know this morning, for the power of God's word, that there is nothing on this earth that can separate any one of us from the love of God, that is in Christ Jesus, our Lord. We just want to encourage you this morning to keep going to keep trusting to keep walking, you know, and allow Christ just to shape us and to mold us you know the grace and the mercy of God. But there is nothing there is nothing in this world there is nothing in that area. of them spiritual layers, there is nothing neither height, nor depth. It doesn't matter how low, how high, it is nothing else in all creation will be able to separate us. You know, we are brothers and sisters in the kingdom of God and God has called you and God has called us around this table God is speaking and God is saving God is rescuing. But let's just think for a moment let's just pray a moment. Let's just spend a few moments thinking of the enormity of our Heavenly Father. When you think the vastness the greatness the powerful the awesomeness of our garden, the love and the blessings and and the love that God displayed through John 316. And wherever you are this morning you might be having a bit of a rough and tumble in in the general press of life. But when we really look at the the raw nests and the realness of life there is there are many troubles there are many issues in life. But if you want to go up into verse 35, a moment of Romans, chapter eight says Who shall separate us from the love of Christ Shall trouble or hardship persecution, famine nakedness, dangerous thought as it is written for your sake, we face death all day long. We are considered as sheep to be slaughtered. Verse 37, that I read a moment ago knowing all things knowing all things. We are more than conquerors through him who loved us everything. You are a conqueror, you are a son, you are a daughter of the living God, God is with you. God is for you and not against you. No weapon formed against us shall prosper. God is with you. In every situation, God is guiding God is leading. But isn't it interesting sometimes when we, when we look at our lives and we think, Lord is this it? Is this everything Lord, I'm just wearing, I'm tired. I've got this job, that job, whether we're in ministry, whether we're in congregations, whatever we may be doing, sometimes we hit a place in our lives, and we say, Dear God, in the name of Jesus, what is this life all about? What is this about? You know, we were created to worship the King of kings and the Lord of lords. And we just want to encourage you this morning, that you are a conqueror, that you are a conqueror, that you are blessed, that you are chosen, that you are a son, and you are a daughter of the living God. It doesn't matter about our lifestyle choices. You know, that could be a bit of a heavy discussion around that, that what I've just said, that doesn't matter because Christ has saved us whether we're choosing the right or the wrong thing. You know, God, God has saved us, when you look at salvation and the sovereignty and the power and the glory, and just the, the holiness of the God of Israel, you are saved, you are chosen, maybe you're just dipping in this live stream service. You might call yourself an atheist. And you might think that you've just pondered onto this and just because you're either gonna scroll through the social socials, or you're on Spotify or Buzzsprout, and you just scrolled onto the step podcast, but God is calling you. God is with you. You are more than a conqueror Who shall separate us from the love of Christ shall travel or hardship persecution, famine, nakedness, or danger or sword. As it is written for your sake, we face death all day long. We are considered a sheep to be slaughtered, knowing all things. Let's just remind ourselves this morning, everything, every area of life knowing all things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. We are conquered. You are a conqueror, you are called you are chosen, you are blessed and highly favored. You are wonderfully and fearfully made. God is with you. The Holy Spirit is your Counselor, the Holy Spirit is the advocate advocate for you. The God of glory, the God of glory, you know, chose you through the redemption plan, God chose you, you are not alone. You have been bought with a price. And it wasn't the 30 pieces of silver. It was at the blood of Jesus. So in all things, you are more than a conqueror through him, who loved us, he loved us first. His love is so powerful, so and conditional he loved us first. For God so loved the world, John 316, John 316, For God so loved the world. What a beautiful text, you know, maybe even if, if someone turns into that, and as a reason, and maybe could put that up on the socials John 316, For God so loved the world that whosoever shall believe in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life, you are saved, because of the power of the God of Israel, we are saved because of the power of the God of Israel. And there is nothing that can separate us from that love. Do you know what? That really should be making us smile today? Because that's all that is important in our lives. Because where the Scripture says, Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, you know, God is with each and every one of us. Come on, let's just get into a moment of prayer as I hand over to my my brothers this morning, as they will continue to lead us through this streaming service and this podcast but God is for us. Who can be against us, Romans chapter eight, verse one, there is now no condemnation for those that are in Christ Jesus, we're in you are in Christ Jesus, you are in the living word, because the Living Word is within you. God has called you God has chosen you. God has set you free. God has given you a hope, and a future and you are a conqueror and nothing can separate. Nothing, no trial, no stretch For I am convinced. Verse 38 of Romans chapter eight, For I am convinced neither death nor life, nor angels nor demons, neither present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus, you are loved unconditionally. You are loved, you know, for the redemption plan, you are loved. Christ went to the cross of Calvary, Christ came down 14 generations when I say Christ, we know what the scripture says when we look at it theologically. And we look at the correct biblical interpret interpretation, sorry. In the book of Colossians it says, Christ is the image of the invisible God. God came down. God came down. Go gave him the name The Greatest Name in heaven on earth and the name of Jesus every knee shall bow. Sometimes you know we can look at our life sometimes we can look at the, the the press on on the tarmac that we're walking, you know, and we think to ourselves, what is this all about, and sometimes it's good just to remind ourselves, powerful, the love of God is the love of God is so powerful. It is so strong. It is wrapped around you the love of God is on you and within you and around you. Father This morning we pray for healing. We pray for miracles, we believe in miracles. We believe in the power of the living word we thank you that we are loved unconditionally. And this morning anyone out there Lord, anyone capturing this service this morning, this podcast Father, if anyone feels unloved in their lives, Father we pray right now that they will feel the love of the Father, the love of the power of the Holy Spirit that they will feel the goodness of God, that they will know that their Redeemer lives and because he lives we can face tomorrow Spirit of the Living God, we pray for an anointing Lord on all of our lives Lord to to be stronger Lord, we pray, Lord, for the love of God, Lord to to be so strong that we feel the arms of Christ we pray today, Lord, that we will fill the living word. In our innermost being We pray, Lord for miracles, all those that don't feel very well today, or those father that have got ailments on their bodies or those that have got backaches or those that are going through cancer treatments or those that are in hospital or those that just feel unwell and all those that have mental health issues and areas of thinking and cognitive processing and Lord and the ache of life. Father, we pray for miracles today. We pray for humanity today. We pray, Father, for the leaders of this nation, Lord, we need leaders that will lead us in the church out of the church. Father, we need leaders Father, we need spiritual leaders in the church father to raise up the Word of God Father, we pray that you will lift up leaders that will preach Father God, the Word of God, we want to hear the word Father, we don't want to hear opinions. We want to hear the living Word of God, Father, we want to hear the power, Lord of the living Word of God coming through pulpits coming through live stream services, we want to hear the line of Judah father we asked you that you will raise up spiritual leaders. In all congregations father, in all denominations. Father, we need strong leadership. Father, we need to hear the Word of God Lord, we are barren spiritually in this nation. Lord, we need miracles we need father the love of God. And we thank you that you never leave us nor forsake us but Lord in the political area of life, Lord in the general press of life, Father, we are sure that you'll touch lives touch home, so those father that just feel very wayward, those that feel very practical those that feel that, that God won't come near them, father, the devil is a liar. And we thank you for the power of salvation. We thank you for the power of justification, sanctification, we thank you for redemption, we thank you that we are redeemed by the blood of the lamb that we have been bought with the price of the Messiah, Lord, the lamb, the precious Lamb that was slain. Father, we thank you that we are more than Congress. Father, we thank you that we are blessed that we are children of the living God. And all those Father God that just feel akin in their body or those that just got issues upon themselves today or those that are worried about their children, or those that are worried about relationships or those that are worried about work and finances and money. All those caught in addictions, all those Father God that are just fearful of going out of their home, father, bring peace, bring your glory, let your love rest on every house today. Every human being within the UK but Lord, the leaders that we have in this nation, we pray, Lord, that we will not hear another lion word coming from their lips, Lord, we need the truth. Father, we need True Father, we need leaders that will lead us we need ones that are for us and not against us. Father, we cannot live Lord any longer without the Messiah, Lord, taking the throne in this nation we need the King of glory, Lord, that text in the book of Judges, at the end of the book of Judges, each man is doing what he sees fit in his own eyes. For there is no king in Israel. Lord, we need the king. We know that you haven't left us not not forsaken us. But Lord, we need to hear the Lion of Judah. We need to hear the roar, the King of the Jews the king, our God our Savior, Lord, please Holy Spirit come and sweep through the corridors of education sweep through the corridors of London sweep through the corridors of politics, sweep through the corridors of business sweep through today. God we need healing we need miracles. We need your word. We need your love. We need your goodness we thank you that you have not left us in any way, shape or form. But Lord, steer this nation back to the Word of God steer this nation back to repentance steer this nation law, back to a walk with the calm Holy Spirit. Every house today Lord, every home, every place, Lord, where a person calls it their home. Lord, let there be peace we pray that peace will rest with people's hearts that they will their mind with their thinking with their process and of life. We pray for those that are worried about their children we pray for just for general anxiety disorders Come Holy Spirit. Come Holy Spirit. Let your glory rest on this nation today. Lord, we pray for the church we pray Lord for the different denominations. Lord this morning, we ask you Father that You will sweep for every denomination, and the Word of God will be taught correctly in the correct biblical interpretation through revelation or knowledge through God. We pray, Lord, that the church won't be laced with dogma and opinions but law it will be filled with the glory of God. Come Holy Spirit, please, every church, Lord, every establishment Lord that has pushed your word aside, we pray, Lord, that you will come and visit us again in these congregations Lord, in these gatherings that you will visit us Lord, Father that we will not go dear gone by other means we will not go dear God by other presses But Lord, we will go by the word of God. Come Holy Spirit refreshed, this nation, refreshed this land sweet fruit, calm please God, just breathe over this nation again. Brief over the schools brave over the universities breathe over humanity today. Lift all those that are feel weary and tired. Come Holy Spirit, we invite you in. But Lord, you're already in. But Lord, our lips are just verbally recognizing you this morning because you did. God saved us before we even came into existence. So the scripture that I started from this morning was from the book of Romans, chapter eight, verse 35, through to the end of verse 39. God is with you. God is not against you. No weapon formed against you shall prosper. God is lifted up a standard God is with you in every area of your life, you are blessed, you are chosen, you are a son, you are a daughter of the living God. And I pray that God would just breathe on you again. So powerfully. And when I mean breathe on you again. I mean, just you can feel the the move of the Holy Spirit, because God is God is within sight of you, the Holy Spirit, the Father, the Son, the Holy Ghost are living inside your body. Because the Scripture says greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. He that said, let there be light is living within you. He that said, the Earth is formed his voice sent his Son to die upon the cross. There's hope that God of hope is with you. God bless every one of you this morning as you join us for coffee and prayer around the world, in the hands of God just beyond you. This is a new day. This is a new beginning. For every one of us in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen, Lord. Thank You, Lord.

Glenn Walsh:

Well, you were praying he was talking about God, come down, God come down on the phone with Jesus. And I was looking at Isaiah 64. And there are times and I'm sure many of us go through these long seasons, where we cry, the same cry as Isaiah, please God, oh. Oh, oh, that you owe you that you and you've been hang on a minute, aren't you there are you that you owe that you would rent the heavens and come down? You know what are crying over alliances on God? Isn't it when you've done everything you can to stand? Stand firm with the full armor of God? Yes, Lord, not in your own armor. Not make up your armor, not the set and the other. The full armor of God. God's promises God's covenant over us. Yeah, start confessing those things. But Isaiah goes on to say, oh, that you would read the heavens and come down that the mountains might quake at your presence. Yes, father, as when foyer, Kindles, brushwood. Thank you Holy Spirit and causes and the fire causes water to boil to make your name known to your adversaries. And the nations might tremble at your presence, not just us, but the nation's trembling God's presence. When you did awesome things that we did not look for. You came down the mountains quite at your presence. You can came down from, of old, no one has hurt or perceived by the ear. No eye has seen a God besides you who acts? For those who wait for him? Come on, Lord. There's the difference and our reliance and our trust and our whole existence is based on the faithfulness of that God, isn't it the faithfulness and sometimes we, especially we go through the seasons of having to endure seasons of having to wait, know what, that's normal. That's Biblical. Yes, Lord, but our hope is that God will act. Every morning when I wake up, I look at my window in this hills at the end of my garden, and I just think of Psalm 21. I lift up my eyes to the hills, and where does my help come from? Amen. My help comes from the Lord made the heavens in the earth. In Psalm 20, In my distress, I called to the Lord. And He answered me, deliver me, oh, Lord, deliver me. Come on. He is our God of deliverance. He is the one and what differentiates God from all false idols. He still is, there is no god but you who acts on behalf Thank You, Holy, those who wait for him. Lord, I want to thank you, Father in heaven, that you do act on our behalf. Yes, Lord, there are miracles. There are times of breakthrough. There are times of deliverance. There are times of healings. There's times lords, where you even call the date to come out of there grapes, we get father you do. And Lord, we love those times we live for those times. And our hope is based on your armor, but also law during the hard times, which are also guaranteed, during those times of enduring in those times that the pressing of the hardship of when we're looking to the hills crying, where does our hope and help come from? You're with us? You are You promised to be with us always, in every season of life. So Lord, I pray that those who are feeling despair today, discouragement, that they would just know your presence, the reality of your presence that we would draw water from the wells of salvation. What does that mean? The Times where God has moved in your life, and shown himself to be real draw from them. Israel had a problem. They had short memories. And remember the generation that passed through the Red Sea that walked through the Red Sea that parted before them. And they walked on dry land? Forgot, come on, how do you forget that?

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Thank you, Jesus.

Glenn Walsh:

You forget that. Come on. Let's not be like that. Let's be those who draw water from the wells of salvation. Yeah, he's already spoken life and love over you. Did you know your love gift? From the son to the Father, Jesus said, No one goes to the Father except through me. Yes, Lord, did you know your love gift to the Son from the Father, Jesus also said, No one can come to Me unless the Father draws him. God so loves you, He gave you to his son, the son so loves you. He washed you cleansed, you dealt with all of your sin and your fallen character, and has presented you holy and righteous before the Father. Such is this covenant, such as this relationship. Were his were his treasure. Father, I just pray for revelation of Your Holy Spirit to move. We do pray for the miracles and we do expect them. We do like Isaiah say when the heavens and come down, do things we didn't even expect. Send your holy presence on your people turn Allah that we would know you that we would shine in the darkness for you. But we also say do awesome things. Yes, father, so the nation's tremble, that your presence and in that trembling, can repent and come to you. We so long for the salvations of their nations to come and move even through us. Yes, Lon. And I'm going to thank you, Lord, that you choose the foolish things in the world to shine the voice. Then about your disciples, they said they were unschooled ordinary people. Praise God, but I know that they've been with you. And that's what we pray. Lord. We don't need the education we don't need The master's degrees and this, that and the other. But if God's called you to get them go get them. But if he hasn't relax and don't be because they noticed, they were unschooled ordinary men, yes, far but they been with Jesus. We've been with Jesus. Now there's, if anyone knows anything about criminology, when if a house has been burgled, they do something. What's the investigation that they do on the house? They find DNA in that what do they call that? And golf club anyway, they will go into a house because what they've come to realize forensics, forensics, yes. Forensic says it was all based by a French fella. They said he's like Sherlock Holmes. But forensic says, if someone has burgled a house, he will leave traces of himself in that house. Not only that, he will take away traces of the house with him. That is forensics. Yes. Anyone who's met with Jesus, or come on anyone who's met with Jesus, you've got more than traces of him. You've got more than traces of Jesus in your life. You've got his presence. He's very presence. Thank you. And if you've met with him, you carry that presence. And you know what? Yeah, there's traces of you in Jesus. He died for you. You are it says in Ephesians God's chosen treasure chosen that's more than traces isn't it? Who chose who we are the children of God. Amen. For those who believe yes, Lord have been given the right to be called it's in Jonghwan the children of God for that is what they are more than traces you're more than traces you're full of your his children precious holy in his sight. Our man thank you for that Lord, Holy Spirit is that we cry Abba, Father. Thank you, Jesus. We so need a movie review in our lives in the church. Come on, Lord, we need to know our identity. You our word, we don't look to the world for it because they haven't got a clue even what their own genders are, amen. But we look to you for our identity. And in you with a royal priesthood, a holy nation, yes, cleansed, was seated with you in heavenly realms with all authority given to us from you. Lord, make it known. Come send your presence can revive your sleeping church.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Move on us today, Lord. Amen. Come on. Lord, we thank You Father, we are blessed. Father, you Your love is unconditional. Thank you, Holy Spirit. Thank you for

Andy Hammond:

Come Holy Spirit. We asked you to come Yes. Just go deeper and deeper. With each one of us. Get right down to our innermost being and being Father God, we thank you. Just been looking at the Psalms this morning. Psalm 145, Verse eight says the Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love. RICH IN LOVE. The Lord is good to all he has compassion on all he has made. And a bit further down in verse 13. The Lord is faithful to all his promises, and loving towards all he has made. Yeah. And whilst I was looking at that I, my eyes looked across the page and Psalm 144. And I think it speaks to us, this current time that we are in the battle. We are in a battle and it seems as if it's been going on and on and on and on. And but it says in Psalm 144 Praise be to the Lord my rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle. I love that scripture. Here's my loving God and my fortress, my long cold and my deliverer filled in whom I take refuge. who subdues people's under me, oh, Lord, what is man that You care for him? The Son of Man that you think of him, man is like a breath. His days are like a fleeting shadow. Father, we thank you that you are training us for war. And we know that we're in a battle. Yes, fine. Our opening prayers gave the clue to all that that we are in a battle, but you actually train us. Yes. Because you by your Spirit have come to live within us. Yes. Hello. And as Glen has said that Just get the forensic guy in. And you will see that there are traces of Jesus in each one of us. If we accept Jesus into our lives, there can be no mistake, that God is there within us, and we thank your Holy Spirit that you, in fact, are training us for war, because we are in a battle. And we need to be equipped. And that's why we take up God's Word, His holy and infallible Word. That's why we read it. And that's why we quote from it today, over the airwaves. And as it says, In Psalm 104, the Lord is faithful to promises. The Lord is faithful. And he's loving, towards all here's my, that's you and me. He's loving care is there, and we can turn to him today. Father, we turn to you, we know that we cannot go into battle without you. And we need to put on that armor. As I think it's been quoted already, that in Ephesians, we put on the whole armor of God, so that we can be equipped to help us Father to spend time with you. Help us to sit with you, help us to praise you. I'm just reminded of all those passages in the Old Testament, when the people of God went into battle. They had the worship band at the front. They had the worship, play and praising God as they went into battle. Doing that was an example for each one of us to praise God. So far, we just praise you this morning. I won't break out in song this morning.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Praise the Lord for that. But he's good and

Andy Hammond:

that we do praise You, Father, we thank you for who you are. Thank you, Jesus, we asked you to come and all those listening this morning, and he will listen later on that you will be with him. And we can sit and praise you in our own way. We can sit and talk to you. And also, we can sit and be quiet. And wait for your responses. Wait for you to speak to us. And so often we forget to do that. Amen. We forget to listen as well. Thank you, Jesus. Father, we just come before you humbly today. Ask you to speak to each one of us. Give us those words of encouragement. Give us that sense of direction where we should go. And help us to choose the battles that we need to fight for you. Because we don't need to fight everyone. Because you've already seen the victory. So we praise You, Father God, because you have dealt with the victory because you sent your Son Jesus. And he's claimed a victory on the cross. So we thank you.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Victory is already done. Thank you. Jesus is

Glenn Walsh:

a prayer of a mighty man of God, a warrior and known warrior, sir. Here we go. It's gonna sound like a prayer of victory as it says King David, Psalm 25, verse 16. So, if you feel a bit of a failure, listen to this. Turn to Me and be gracious to me. For I am lonely and afflicted. The troubles of my heart have enlarged, bring me out of my distress. Consider my affliction and my trouble and forgive all my sins. Oh God, my soul and deliver me. Yes, Lord, let me not be put to shame. For I take refuge in you. That's a prayer of a warrior

Reverend Ben Cooper:

than a prayer of a king. That is when you think what David went through anointed and he prayed a prayer like that.

Glenn Walsh:

That Goliath Slayer. Yes. Turn to me for I am lonely and afflicted. Yeah, but he also says in first 14 Just before this. The friendship of the Lord is for those who fear him. And he makes known to them His covenant, which also means he tells me secrets. It means the secret counsel of God is known the secret to his friends. Jesus said, I don't call you servants I call you friends. Thank you God because friends know each other's business.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Thank you Holy Spirit, Lord,

Glenn Walsh:

our strength is in you. Even the Goliath Slayer was not strong in himself. He realized his strength and his fortitude comes from friendship with the Lord God Almighty. Amen. You are for us, you're not against us. So Lord, whatever struggles whatever trouble was, whatever weights people are carrying in today, here farmer Come, let's see, Lord that were yoked together with you. That yoke in is if you don't know what yoke in is, there was a there was wood that was placed across the shoulders of oxen that made them walk together as one. So when we're yoked to Jesus, he's taken that that we are literally strapped to him planked with him. So when our feeble legs back on the strong shoulders of the Lord hold us up, you carry carries us literally, through life. So Lord, women are covenant with you. And again, the West we don't understand covenant relationships. The only covenant we understand in that is marriage. for better for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness in health, he holds us he's for us. And it's not till death do we part is in depth, we meet him face to face, come on, he's with us always through every circumstance of life, always for us. He's the faithful partner, amen. More than that. He says, strengthen as short as they can. He is for you. He intercedes for so conveniently charge against those God has chosen Jesus, no, He intercedes for us. Yes, he says, I've paid for that. I've paid for that. I've paid for that. I've paid for that. You have been paid for ransomed your keys. Yes. And as Ben said earlier, Romans eight now there's nothing that can snatch us out of the hands of God, nothing

Reverend Ben Cooper:

completely. In completely in pletely, we're come to the table in a very, very short moment, wherever you are, across the if you might be in an aircraft, you might be at work, you might be at a desk, you might be walking, you might be at home, wherever you are, at this moment in time, you know, it is possible. And you are able to break bread with us, wherever you are, across the fringes in a bit of a continuum of what we've been looking at this morning, as we come to the table. For those that think that they're fighting on their own. You're not fighting on your own, and you shouldn't be fighting, you should just be resting and being still, you know, because Exodus 23, verse 22, says, if you listen carefully to what he says, and do all that, I say, I will be an enemy to your enemies. And I will oppose those who oppose you. When you really think of the enormity of that text, if you listen carefully, Lord, I am listening carefully. What am I listening carefully to, I'm listening carefully to the instruction of the King of kings and the Lord of lords. I'm listening to the Word of God, I do not need to fight I do not need to put the gloves on. The battle belongs to the Lord. And if I listen to the instruction of the Heavenly Father, as it says, In Exodus 23, verse 22, if you listen carefully to what he says, and do all that, I say, I will be an enemy to your enemies. I will oppose those that oppose you. All my goodness gracious me. I've just got to listen. I've got a walk. I've got a trust. I've got to lean into Jesus. I can just rest in the battlefield. Psalm 23, he will prepare a table that for me, in the presence of my enemies, you know, when the enemy is exhausted, when the enemy is bleeding out on the battlefield, a bit brutal. You know, you can get a bit of a picture from what the psalmist is saying. There's a banquet being prepared for those that are in Christ Jesus, the enemy has slain the enemy as been taken out. You know what Andy mentioned something very interestingly, worship destroys the enemy. When you look at King Josephat he tore his clothes he laid flate, facedown on the floor, simply because the enemy that was too big that was coming over the hill was too vast for him, and everyone around him, but he came under instruction. He came under fast and he came under prayer. And he listened to what God was saying. He said in the morning, send the worshipers out. The Power of Worship, destroys when you worship the God of Israel. God turns the enemy within itself, God turns the enemy on itself. God does great things through anyone that would worship Him in the battlefield of life. Just lift him up, praise him, sing, worship the Lord thy God in the most Darkest Hour of life, because worship destroys the work of the enemy, not because of how great I am or star or you are, but because how great the God of Israel is. cannot come to you. Yes, you can toggle over to

Andy Hammond:

the thought has occurred to me is that we just said worship, we worship, we worship the wrong things. 100% right. And exactly we need to get right, who we worship. Thank you and what we worship. And I've got open Daniel three, oh, and nab you kanessa? Yes, we know the story of Shadrach, Meshach. and Abednego,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

if you were and

Andy Hammond:

what the king said to Daniel and his colleagues there is and when you hear the sound of the home flute, say that liar, heart pipes, all kinds of music, if you're ready to fall down and worship the image can I have made, I won't throw you in the blazing Fire? Come on. And, of course, we all know the story that will

Reverend Ben Cooper:

come in handy take us they probably know it,

Andy Hammond:

that they are they are standing in front of the fiery furnace. so hot that even the servants who had made it were consumed or consumed just by the heat without going into it. And their response was, if we are thrown into this blazing furnace, the God we serve, is able to save us from it. Come and he will rescue us from your hand. Okay? Yeah. So even if he does not, we want you to know King that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up. So even if he doesn't, we're still not going to serve your God, we're going to serve our God, our man who is the God of the universe, who is our God who will save us. And of course, that happened. And this is one of the first look at scripture, this is really an appearance of Jesus in the furnace. And that is one of the early times that Jesus appears in the furnace and save some. And thank you Holy Spirit had such an impact on the king as well. And all changed

Reverend Ben Cooper:

him changed it completely.

Andy Hammond:

So that's how God can change you. He can come and be your friend. He can come into your life. And in fact, he is more than your friend. He calls you sons and daughters. And you're part of the family when you come into relationship with God through Jesus and

Glenn Walsh:

worship somewhere in the foyer. Yeah,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

that's it. There's a true. So we thank

Andy Hammond:

you, Jesus. Thank

Reverend Ben Cooper:

You, Lord, we're coming to the table for your mighty to save. Yeah, that's correct. everything that's been said this morning. The battle belongs to the Lord. There is now no condemnation for those that are in Christ Jesus. The battle is the Lord's he's walking in the fire. He's everything that the brothers have read out for a descriptor this morning that God has placed on their heart. So wherever you are today, God is walking with you in the image of Christ in the fire in the blazing fire of life.

Glenn Walsh:

And when he's in the fire, it does not burn, it doesn't burn.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

It doesn't burn you are safe in Jesus. Come on, let's just get to the table. Let's just just bow in prayer this morning was our two brothers are going to lead us around the bread and the wine you are safe even when the king even when the leaders of this nation turn up the the flame even when they turn it up. Even when they turn the flames up and try to sculpt us we will make it not because of us. But because of him. He is with you in the fire. He is with you in the storm. He is your gun. He is your rescuer. So let's come to the table. Father, we thank You for this moment and as our brothers are going to lead us around the table father, I just want to say thank you for loving me. Thank you for saving me. Thank you, Lord for calling me Thank You, Lord, for whatever my life is on this Father I thank You, Lord, that you are with me whatever my purpose is, to walk this father I confess Lord, every area of my life, Lord the wrong decisions I make Lord Have I ever made a right decision I don't know. But Lord, I thank you Jesus. I love you Lord with all of my heart. Father, I worship you, you are the living God and Lord, I asked you Father that You will shape me and mold me, Lord, and just term me Lord, just Father Lord, I pray right now that you'll keep me on the potter's will keep me in the Garden of Gethsemane where Lord, I just keep saying, Father, your will, the will of the Father, Lord, the will of the Father, Lord, because my flesh is itching and scratching and Lord, I got got to be in the world or I've got to be in the will of the Father, in the will of the Father and also the other will have the Father the will of the master. Isn't that interesting in two different spellings, but when you pronounce it, it's still the will, the will of the Father in the Garden of Gethsemane and being on the will, the potters will, in the Masters hands. I want to be in the Masters hands and in his plans. Simple. So Lord, I thank you that you saved a renegade like me. Thank you, Lord, that you set Lord a crackpot free like me, Lorna, thank you, Jesus. You've given me a hope and a future in my crazy thinking in my crazy head of mine, Lord, I thank you that you know everything. So, Lord, bring peace to all of us today. Let us always be open with one another, and not trying to Lord put on a Holy Shroud of everything is wonderful and rosy, bring me another cup of tea. Everything is good. Lord, I thank you that the battles are light of life are won. In the presence of my god. Come Holy Spirit. Bless my brother Glennon and Dawn is not with us this morning. And Andy as he, as he laid these two that are here with me, lead us to this most beautiful time. I thank you, Jesus, that all religion is broken. I thank You, Lord, that I don't need a priest. I don't need a leader of a denomination to tell me when I can take and do this because this is an instruction of Jesus Christ. Bless my brothers and my sisters today. In Jesus name, amen.

Glenn Walsh:

Amen. All religious things broken. Luke 22 verse for 14. And when the hour came, he reclined at the table and the apostles with him. And he said to them, I have eagerly or earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before suffered. Could you see all things are being made? No now, yeah, man, he was eager to eat with them, even though he knew what he was facing. Yes, it was a remembrance meal that they celebrated 1000s of years together 1000s They celebrated it together? Well, it's hundreds then. But it's, it's 1000s now and even the reclining there was so much that they did you'll notice all the Gospels say they reclined because you didn't sit at this table, you recline to the left. And then there were four different breads. There were four different wines that you took together. And when and you did it all to remember the Passover. You did it all to remember the deliverance out of Egypt, the plagues all of it, the whole lot was to celebrate that. And yet Jesus does something No. In verse 19, he took the bread. And when he'd given thanks, He broke it. And said, This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of Me no longer about remembering deliverance from Egypt. Now it's about deliverance, complete deliverance from the sins we've committed. Yes, Father, from our falling short of God's standards, from every violation. Jesus said, you're free. Because of my body, the Lamb of God, slang for you. Let's take this bread together, in remembrance of Him, Amen. Jesus, we thank you that you have paid. You've paid paid it all. More than what we deserve. Lord, we look at our lives and think we don't deserve heaven. But you've paid the wages of sin is death. And you were struck down, afflicted, crucified, and You tasted death. For us. You paid the Holy Spirit that in full. So now lords, we don't deserve hell. We can only deserve heaven because you have paid for it. Not by our merit not by our deeds, but by the body of our Savior, Jesus Christ. who died for us? Thank you for that act. Yes, Lord. Amen. Amen.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Amen. Thank you Jesus.

Andy Hammond:

I don't think it's necessary to add too much to those scriptures. But there is a verse, a couple of verses in John 11, just before Jesus calls Lazarus from the tomb. He says, to Martha, I am the resurrection and the life, He who believes in me will live, even though he dies, and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. And you asked the question, Do you believe this? Yes, Lord, I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who was to come into the world. So Father, we thank You, that You sent Jesus into the world. And yes, we declare and believe that you are the resurrection and the life. Amen. Amen.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Wow, there we go. The Passover, there's something I learned so much fruit, I am beginning not to like the word Easter anymore. Because of the worldly press that it has. And Glenn mentioned it and the Scripture mentions it and we mentioned it over the Passover that we've just had. The word Passover is so much of a word that is needed in church. Rather than keep lifting up the word Easter. It's about the Passover, the Scripture talks about the pass over the passing over, The blood will be a sign. Yeah, the blood is a sign. And we are washed in the blood of Jesus, the blood is a sign that you are a son and the daughter of the living God and you are blessed, and you are chosen, and God chose you. Come on, you should dance the rest of your life. You should be dancing all day long. Because God has set us free and the battle belongs to the Lord. May God bless you and strengthen you wherever you are across the world today. We thank you so much for joining us. And we will see you this evening. Half past seven for Bible study. Just to let you know there is no coffee and prayer next Wednesday we have a week out. But God is with you. You don't need us three or four, the one that's invisible, that's floating somewhere up in the atmosphere at the moment on his way to the sunshine. May God bless every one of you this morning. We will see you in two weeks time. And May God strengthen you. And within the two weeks before we gather around these mics. We know that God will lead you into paths of righteousness. We know that God will strengthen you and guide you in all things. No, we thank you so much. We will see you in a couple of weeks. To all those in the world of podcasts. We thank you for every download. We thank you for every press every stress on the button that you have done. We thank you so much for all those on I Heart Radio, all those on Buzzsprout, Spotify, Amazon music, Apple Music and so many other social platforms that you can find all this stuff. Have a wonderful day. God bless my two brothers opposite me. God bless my other brother that is quite close to Jesus at the moment. God bless
