If you would like to grab yourself a word and open up into Psalms 40. Open a word of God up into Psalms 40. Let me go down to Ron about verse two. And then we're just gonna quickly fly up into the New Testament. And we'll come up into the book of Matthew, Matthew chapter seven. For those that want to follow up with your own very eyes, Matthews chapter seven. And it's about building upon the rock from verse 24. To 25. And as we just gather and and as we rest, and as we stay on just making sure we're on, and we're ready to go. Yeah, I can see. Good evening, thank you so much for joining us. Wherever you are across the earth tonight. Let's get straight in. And let's read from the Scripture. Let's see what God is saying to us through His Word. And that is the safeguard of God through His Word, He speaks only through his word not through any other means, but through the Holy Word of God. So everything that has been prophesied, if I'm expecting other prophecies from God, it will not happen because it has been written, it has already been spoken about it is here. It is in front of our eyes and we go from Genesis to Revelations that the prophets have spoken, the Psalmist has written, the New Testament writers have written the word of God. You know, from Genesis to Revelation, we have the complete the complete book before our very eyes, Psalms 40 verse one, and I really, really trust that this will really touch your heart tonight, they will really dig deep right into your spirit and you will just find rest for your innermost being. And for all those that are just waiting patiently, can I just continue to say to you tonight, wait and continue to be patient don't rush. Don't press any other buttons of the world just wait and be still. Psalm 40 Verse one through two to two really important words I feel that are being dropped in my spirit tonight. And this is about waiting. And the rock so waiting on what do I wait on I wait upon the rock and I know that this will be revealed a little bit further on as we go through psalms 40 verse one, I waited patiently for the Lord. He turned to me and he heard my cry. He lifted me up out of the slimy pit out of the mud in the mire. He set my feet upon the rock, he gave me a firm place to stand. I really believe tonight there are many people just wanting to be like that race horse, you know, just starting to gallop off. But I I just want to urge you, whatever you are being called to whatever your situation is in your life, whether it's ministry, whether it's outside the ministry, whether it's a pulpit, whether it's outside the pulpit, whether it's leadership, whether it's marriage, whether it's a relationship, whether it's a new job, whether it's saying to the children, I would like to put it to you to this tonight, whether you're entering into retirement and you're wondering what to do next. I would say this, do not rush anything that you have before you. But as the scripture says, I waited patiently for the Lord. He turned and this is really really beautiful the way this is written for all the way the psalmist brings us to the page he says he turned to me, God is turning to you. God is your Jehovah Jireh he's your Jehovah Nissi he's your Jehovah shalom, he is your peace is your shield. Here's your everlasting father. His word is yes and amen. And wherever you are tonight, I would just encourage you to hold your place, keep that position, don't rush out even even even if I think I'm making bad law, lifestyle choices at the moment and whatever that may be. Just hold that place a moment I just I did God, I asked you tonight, Lord, that you will guide me in paths of righteousness. Lord, I'm waiting patiently, Lord, I've even made a good decision or bad decision. Lord, I've even made the right choice or the wrong choice. But whatever it may be, I would not, oh, use this word, do not gallop out of any situation at the moment, just hold your place. If it's a position, that is a good a good place to say thank you, Jesus, if you feel the I asked we whoever because we all do this, have made a bad decision or said something wrong or done, an act or something has happened. Don't Don't rush anything. Just say, Father, I asked you that you will forgive me. And I thank you for the power of forgiveness. I thank you for the power of, of redemption. But Lord, I'm waiting patiently You, Lord, for you to help me to come out of this valley. To move forward. Lord, I'm standing almost at the Jordan's edge as the priests, the high priests, the priests, the Levitical priesthood, were told to go and stand in the Jordan, there are many people standing in a Jordan situation at this moment. And you can feel the torrent of life, hold your position, hold your place, be still and wait patiently on the Lord, whether that's in a good lifestyle choice, or a bad lifestyle choice, whether that's in faith or out of faith. And what I'm referring to is just hold your place in your thinking in your mind, in your understanding, before any word has been said before any decision has been made. Just make that that position right now in my life and your life and say, Father, I'm waiting patiently for the Lord. And as I'm waiting, Lord, in this situation of life, whether a good choice, bad choice, whether a faith choice, wherever a flesh choice, whatever choice that may be, whatever way we look at it, God knows and God for see, and God for knew, every avenue that I would go down as a believer as a human being, he knew that I would walk the thin path, his path, he knew that I would walk the worldly path, he knew that I would, I would sway off the godly path and I would slip to the fleshly path, then he knows that I would come back. And no one can ever say whether you're in ministry, whether you're a believer, wherever your whatever your faith press is tonight, wherever you sit within Christianity, no one can ever say that they are, are and can live a complete pure life. Now that might be a bit of a bold statement to say, but it is it is fact. It is fact. Now we have one of the great New Testament fishermen stood in front of Christ and he see Christ and he walked with Christ. And he spent hours and uncountable hours with Christ. And suddenly he realized who Christ was. And he said, away from the Lord, for I am a sinful man. God did not reject Him, Christ did not reject Him, the Holy Spirit did not rebuke him or anything like that. See, I have to understand that I was saved by grace, I was a sinner and I still sin, and I will continue to sin, then, and that has not given us any license to go and do what we want. That's not about not about that whatsoever. But it is by grace we have been saved, not by work so that no one can boast. We understand that that is put in Ephesians. But that that fishermen that that man that had his own business, that that one that worked all night, all day that was was serving his community, the businessman, suddenly had a revelational moment in his natural eyesight, and he see very, very clearly that the Christ Christ standard before him, he was so holy, he was so powerful. And he realized what a wretched person he was. And he said, away from me, Lord, I am a sinful man. But he was already called, he was already in the plan. He was already in the purpose. And you know what? I think it's really important to grab a breath sometimes and say, Lord, I, today seems to have been a good day. I thank you, Jesus. There may be a big percentage of us that have gone Lord, I've made some bad choices today. I've made mistakes and Lord I'm sorry and I come to you, as we break bread as we take this cup and Father I thank you that there is the power of repentance, there is the power of coming to you and say, Lord, help me in this in this decision of life. Lord, I I've stretched myself too far. Lord, I've gone down a cul de sac and I can't Walk away out of this. Lord, I'm standing on the Jordan's edge and the torrent of the River Jordan is so strong, it's pressing against my shins and I'm carrying this lord and I'm and I feel that I could get washed away in a torrent you will not get I will not get washed away in a torrent. Remember, God gave a command all the way through from Heaven down to Joshua. And Joshua relayed that command go and stand in that river. That River is impossible to cross without the word of God, lifestyle choices, life is impossible to cross without the word of God, when you need the word of God. And I really believe as a believer, myself, and whoever's with me online this evening, we need to just stand still in the crisis of life, in the breakout of everything that's going on in the fuel poverty, in the universal credit issues in the social housing issues, in the money markets, in the finance markets, in the business markets in just the general press of life, I think it's important that we will actually I don't think I've got to be careful how I bring this over. I don't think I believe, I believe that the scriptures are relevant for me. And I believe the scriptures are relevant for you tonight. And I believe that this is a time to be still and to wait upon the Lord now to wait can be the hardest thing a believer could ever do in their life, is to wait in the torrent of life like that river Jordan was beaten against the priests, the two priests that stood in that river Jordan, they waited the first to to step into the Jordan, and they was waiting for God to move. I believe that there are many that have been in prayer for many years tonight, people that have been prayer for a long time, praying for your family, praying for work, praying for yourself, praying for temptation to go praying for fear to go so many different avenues of life we pray for. And I believe and I gotta be careful, again, the biblical language, you're gonna make sure I keep it very clear and through biblical language and not through the interpretation of the Pentecostal language. It's out there, the hashtags and the social network language and all that type of jargon that's going out there, wait and be still, because this is a season I gotta be careful. I use that word season, because that has other understanding understandings in the Pentecostal world. You know, we've been saying, this is your break through season, this is your season, this is your moment, blah, blah, blah, all that sort of stuff. But I really believe that we are in a new season. And the reason I say that, because the way the world is moving and the way we are looking at this universe, the way we are looking at the way the world is functioning and everything that's going on, and even with the weather system at the moment and the way governments are pressing this one world order one, monetary one, everything is one everything is everyone is looking for power. We are looking for the man of lawlessness, even though we've got lawlessness, we've had foreigners, you know, we've had antichrist, we've got antichrist. Everything is breaking out at this moment. But but a very big clear indicator over the last number of months has been how we look into the sky in the evening, the sky at night, when you look into the sky at night, the way the sunset, the way the sun rises, the way the moon disappears away, everything is happening. The atmosphere is very different. And we've never experienced this atmosphere before. The phenomenons that are happening in coming, coming from the heavens above the different light shades that the power of light and what is happening in the heavens above the different sunsets, the way, the way the earth is moving. So we are living in very spiritual and very powerful times and the atmosphere is very different. So the reason I mentioned that tonight as we are coming to the table, is I believe this is really, really important. For me, yes, a believer, for us a believer to stand firm in the Word of God. So as we leave Psalm 40, I'm just going to read this again very gently. It says, I waited patiently for the Lord, he turned to me and he heard my cry, He lifted me that there is a lifting. And at the moment, I believe that there are many that are being lifted out of the pit of religion, out of the pit of church out of the pit of life. Many people are being lifted, but it feels very strange. There is a lifting process going on. He's lifted me out of the pit. When when the Old Testament writer here David is writing this, he is in a very dark and in in a very distressing situation. But I believe that there have been many, many being caught in a religious box in a wall box and in unusual boxes through our Christian walk. And I believe God is lifting an another Psalm You might want to turn to Psalm 91 Where it talks about he will command his angels concerning you to lift you up in their hands. I believe at the moment there is a lot of lift Then going on that the atmosphere is very heavy work is tiring for many people are working really hard. Time is just quick and in the seasons are rolling. You know, I don't even want to mention that word, but I will because that's the sort of person I am saying. And then Christmas, you know, and all that the CS at the time what the reason I mentioned that the time is so everything is so fast. It's, it's like hang on a moment, I thought I just woke up a moment ago. Now it's evening. Now it's Tuesday. Now it's Wednesday, it's Thursday. It's Friday. It's the weekend again, time is quickening like we've never seen before. There is a speed that we've never seen before the way the world is moving, the way everything is flowing. So this Psalm 40 is really important for me and for you, as brothers and sisters, whether you're dipping into social sunlight, just capturing this live stream service. Whether you're a believer or non believer, we can't get away from the fact there are some unusual unusual activities in the heavens above even the astrologist and even the great thinkers and those that look into the heavens. And the scientists we know for, for what we are looking at just with the natural eye, there are some unusual things happening through the way the world is operating. That is not because it is out of control. But it is because the word of God has spoken at this stage, this will happen at this time you will see this so that Christ in the book of Matthew has gave given very clear markers through his speech. And he said, look out for the signs, the signs will be an indicator to where we sit in eschatology. The signs will be a marker for you to mark in your life, and say to yourself, oh, the word of God has said it. Now the prophecy has been fulfilled, because this is where we sit. So there are signs Christ says watch out for the signs. And you will see in the heavens above. So Christ said very clearly on the mound when he was delivering everything that he was delivering, there will be signs, there will be issues happening before you that has been prophesied that has been spoken about that has been foretold through the Holy Word of God. So we are in a privileged position to see all this come in all these prophecies being fulfilled. And you are a blessed brother or a sister, whether you're in faith, our faith, wherever you sit tonight, God is calling you the message yesterday, God is calling. And I'm going to come back to this quickly. God is lifting I believe that there is a lifting and it feels like we've been lifted out of the mud and the Maya as the scripture says, We've been lifted up out and it feels like we've been sucked in. We've almost been suffocated with religion that you feel that you've been suffocated with ministry and pastors and leaders, and bashings from church and religion. And it's been this monotony year after year, week after week, this merry go round of church and nothing spiritual really is happening. But now there is a lifting there is there is a lifting out there is a God is lifting people out of the world and he's lifting people out of religion, and bringing them into the kingdom of God. The reason he's bringing them is because salvation takes us from the world takes us from from our outstanding point. And salvation puts us into the kingdom of God. Because that's what it's about redemption, where am I being redeemed from I'm being redeemed from from a dead situation. I'm being redeemed from the world. Now. I'm coming into the kingdom where there is life when there is hope. And there is future and there is power and there is glory. And there is hope there is there is a lifting, if anybody feels a bit unusual tonight, a bit strange and the for a number of weeks and maybe a good number of months, especially from locked down. There's like a lack of lifting up you can almost hear hear the sound of this, this scooping being scooped up and being lifted out because God is lifting and God is bringing people out of the mud and out of the slimy pit. David was one in the slummy pattern in the mud in the mire. I'll read it again and then we're going to quickly fly up into the New Testament. I waited patiently for the Lord. He turned him in he heard my cry He lifted me out of the slimy bit out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet upon the rock, he is the one that will set your feet upon the rock. We do not have the strength or the capabilities or the physical strength to to lift to get ourselves from where we are spiritually to where we need to be because it is God that reveals God that draws yes I have a responsibility and I'm Stein to understand how less of intervention I have as a believer if anything or if if what that ever that may be in actually my my destiny With Christ through Christ, through the father, with the Father, and with the power of the Holy Spirit, it has already been predestined that the pathway has already been carved out. Yes, I have the choice. Yes, I have the breadth. Yes, I have the responsibility. Do I go down the route of the flesh? Or do I go down the root of the word? Do I go down the word? Or do I go down the flesh, that's all it is. I've got to forget about the root of the church, I've got to get to forget about the root of ministry, the road and the roots of everything that comes together, I've got to understand that who the sun sets free is free indeed. And Christ is set in many free this evening. And there is a lifting there is a scooping. And here we have in Psalm 40, a very clear, a very clear marker. In this time in which we live, that God is lifting people out of the mud and the mire, and he set my feet upon the rock, he is the rock, he is our foundation, He is our God. So he will set you he will set me What will He set us on, he will not set us on sinking sand, but he will set us upon the rock. He knows that I am weak, he knows that. Can I say that you may be weak in some areas of life. He knows that I'm very weak. He knows my feelings. He knows every area of of my weaknesses within this world, but that he does not reject me and he hasn't reject me from salvation. Yes, I come under conviction, through the power and the anointing and through the glory of the Holy Spirit. Through the Word of God, I come under conviction, I come under the Word of God, but he does not reject. The father never rejects the protocols. The protocols never get their door, the door of glory close in their face, face, the Father's arms are always open the Father's arms does not judge. It's the family that judges it's the brother, it's the sister, it's the world. It's those in within the the the area of the product called Son. It's those that will judge and will always judge but the father says, My son has come home, he was lost. Now he has been found. I love Jesus, gosh, do I love Jesus, he has never rejected me, he will never reject me. God sent His one and only Son to die on a cross for me. You know, there may be an error of weakness within me but God saved me when I was weak. God strengthens me in my weakness when I am weak, then he is strong. You know, if we, if we continue to follow Christ, if we continue to pray if we continue to walk with Him, if we just continue to have that communication with him and to speak to him, however, when you're driving when you're at work and whatever, you know what he's so glorious about Christ. Yes, I clearly understand what it says about coming together and not forsaking the worship together. But what is so beautiful about the Kingdom of God, the kingdom of God is within the kingdom of God is with you. You're At Home Tonight you're at work tonight you might be walking tonight, you're not might be capturing this live stream. on your sofa, you might be sitting the edge of your bed at the despair of your life. You might be at work, you might be running, you might be exercising, whatever you are doing, God loves you. God loves you. That is a given. That is a given because that is given to you through Scripture. He is the God of hope. He is a God of glory. And God is putting your feet upon the rock. It says that it speaks about that it is clear to say that and it says I will lift you out of the mud in the mire, he will set my feet upon the rock upon the rock you are standing Believe it or not. You are standing on the rock, not because of how great you are or how great I am. But how great our God is our God has put our feet upon the rock, he is our rock, he is our salvation. He is our God and He is our king. He is worthy of all praise. And God loves you God, God loves you. His love is unconditional. The price was already paid. Now let's quickly let's go is eight o'clock five past eight, whatever the time may be. Let's jump straight up into the Gospel of Matthew, chapter seven. Therefore anyone who hears these words of mine, I cannot hear the word until and I cannot recognize the word until God has called me into his kingdom. Because when I'm not in the Kings domain, when I'm like so so why do you persecute me? I have no interest in Christ. You know that there was a point when when none of us was thinking about Jesus. It was Jesus that drew drew us to him. We did not walk into him and say one day Lord, I decided that I'm going to give you some of my life no Christ gave everything for us. He is the one that sets our feet upon the rock. He is the God that saves us. He is the God of Israel. He is the great I AM. He is the one that guides us. He is the one that strips us. He is the one that supplies he is the healer. He is the miracle worker. He is the living word. He is the great I Am he is El Shaddai he is yes and amen. His word is yes. And his word is Amen. I am the same yesterday, today and forever more. God is God and God loves you. And he is taking your life. And he's setting you upon the rock, even when you're awake and when you're tired. And you can't pray. Have you ever reached a point in your spiritual walk in your journey as a believer? Let's not tell no on this because we we don't want anyone to think strange of us. Have you ever thought I'll ask myself this? This question. Ben, have you ever reached a time in your Christian walk where you didn't want to pray? Yes, Lord, I have reached a time in my life. Many times, Lord, where I couldn't pray. I didn't feel like praying. I was angry. I threw everything out my Christian prayer. And I was fed up. Good answer, Ben, because I knew that you wouldn't pray How did you know that God, because the Bible tells me this when I can't think and when I can't process prayer, the Scripture says this, The Holy Spirit intercedes, the Holy Spirit intercedes with, with groans and utterances. When I can't think when I'm weary, when I'm tired, when I'm worn out, when I'm busting out when I'm on the floor, crying, kicking my legs in the air, throw my shoes up to heaven, and saying, Lord, I've had enough. The Father's arms, guess what are still open. The father has still got a plan for me. When I can't even think anymore. Even when I say God, I can't pray. What's the purpose of praying? What is the purpose of this anymore? Gone? God does not reject me. And I'm not frightened about being open. I'm not frightened about putting this across the airwaves. Because God works through everything when I'm weak. When I'm tired, when I can't pray, when I when I can't even get the words out when I can't think thank goodness that prayer isn't about thinking about God. Prayer is a communication of what not with my lips, but with my heart. Prayer is a connection from heart to God, from heart to God, Lips, lips are really irrelevant in the prayer life. Yes, all they're good for is for verbalizing, and creating that sound wave. But actually, God does not need my lips, or any sound from my voice box because he knows my heart in the first place. That's what it's about. That's why he says very clearly, very, very clearly in the New Testament. When he when he talks about the Lord's Prayer, they said, Jesus give us a prayer. And he says, Don't be like the Pharisees and the Sadducees that stand on the street corners. Shannon all are in making a noise, looking good, looking very strong and powerful. But they love the sound of their own voice. Don't be like that. Then he says, This is how you should pray Our Father that aren't in heaven, hallowed be thy name, and it continues on. Then he says, and don't be like the pagans. Don't be like the pagans that just ramble and like the sound of their own voice. Voice has no power within the kingdom of God. Because it's all about my heart. Christ isn't interested in what my lips are going to say. Because God knows my heart already. So my lips can shout and praise Him. And that can be relevant. Because it's what my heart is like. God sees through my voice. God sees through my lips movement, and he looks directly past all that. And the Bible says, put the word of God on the tablet of your heart, the inner Ben, I've got to be careful of lip service. We've had a lot of lip service. We've heard a lot of voice. We've heard a lot of noise from church and religion. We've heard a lot but we haven't seen a lot so voice is very interesting because when God speaks his yes is yes. And he's no he's no. The Bible says that your yes be yes and your no be no but it Even when, even when I'm tired, even when I'm weary, even when I'm maybe a bit wayward, even when I may be a little bit lost, even when I might be praising and worshiping, wherever I am, the Scripture says in Psalm 40, that he will put my feet, my feet upon the rock. But then we come up into the New Testament, then things change a bit. This is really important for me as a believer. And it says, Therefore whoever hears my words of mine and put them into practice is like a wise man. I can only do this once I have been saved. And once God has called, so there's a, there's a big study in this coming, coming into salvation. So when I come into salvation, this is when all this applies. This does not apply to when I was in the world because I wasn't seeking and I wasn't looking. But God came to me, God saved me. God gave me a hope and a future. So now the scriptures suddenly the scriptures look very different. Because now this is where I should be. Now I know salvation, I understand redemption. I've got a understanding a bit of a place of a foundational point in the Scripture, that I know the God of Israel, I thank God for salvation, I've got a bit of an understanding of Christianity, about following Jesus. So this now this applies to me now, as a believer. And it says in verse 24, therefore, anyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house upon the rock. Now I build on the rock, but my feet were placed upon the rock, before I even realized and who the rock was. Because God reveals everything, and God brings everything God comes to us, the father comes to ask the Father saves us, the father sets us three, free sorry, it says, No, Jesus says, I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no one comes to the Father except through me. So I go through him. But before I can go through, I've got to been I've got to be drawn to, I've got to be drawn to when I've been drawn to when I was on the Mayas road, we might be walking with Jesus, we might be walking with Christ, we might be walking with the deity but the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, Christ held X amount of things back there was holding back of any revelation of Christ until the correct time. So we might know but to know, we have had to be drawn in we've had to be lifted in, we've been lifted up and we've been placed in you were called, and you are brought in. And the Scripture even goes on, he says, You have been grafted in, I cannot graph myself in, you cannot graph yourself in, you have to be brought in and you are drawn in, and you are invited in now, when I just dropped a word in invitation, the invitation only becomes relevant and is only able to be understood what an invitation means. Once it has been presented. And God has placed you in and God is drawing you. And this is not about coming to church. This is about walking with the God of Israel, the God that created Heaven on Earth. Take church out the equation, we are seeing a great falling away within the framework of church we are at that critical point in church. And you might label that up as religion, whatever and however you look at that, we are in a great falling away we are seeing a great falling away. But God is lifting and God is drawing many out to Psalm 40. It says up and out and God is placing your feet upon a rock, he is placing you upon him, you are being you are being placed upon Christ, you have been placed upon the rock, you have been placed upon the King of kings and the Lord of lords, you have been placed in the kingdom, you are part of the kings domain, but then suddenly the scriptures become alive to me because he has made them and he has revealed them to me first. There is a way that there is almost there is a structure and there is a plan of salvation that happens before anyone can actually say I decide to follow God well actually your body and your physical and your your physical you is just catching up with the spiritual world that is the kingdom of God and your body. Your physical you is just accepting what has already been given. Yes, I did. decided to follow Jesus. Yes, I've decided to read. Yes, I'm looking Yes I am. But you before you said, Yes I am, he was already in because he puts your feet upon the rock, he calls you, he saves you, He gives you the gift of salvation and the gift has been given. And you are in the Kings domain, you are safe, you are blessed. You are highly favored. You belong to God. You belong to God, we can fight, we can kick we can run, we can fry toys out the pram, but you belong to Jesus. You belong to God, and the Spirit of God is resting in you and upon you and around you. And the Father's love is unconditional. Now when I look at this scripture in Matthew chapter seven, I get an understanding it says the rain came down and the strange rows and the winds blew against that house, but it did not fall. Why are you and why am I not gonna fall? The psalmist writes, I was about to fall, I was pushed back and about to fall. But God saved me. He put me in a spacious place. Fall in cannot happen. Sin in half sin happens. So we could put the word sin and fall together. I sin so I have fallen. I don't fall out of salvation. I fall by sin. Lord, I've sinned today. I found you today. Lord. I've said I've acted I've done. I have been engaged in I have fought in. I've spoken in anger. I am not an I haven't been forgiven today. I've been a bit gritty today. I've been a bit upset today. You know, sin has many layers. Sin is covered in and wrapped up in so much. So in closing, as we come to the table in just a few moments, you just want to spend a couple of moments just looking at this scripture. And I thank God because God will let this and God will bring this to your spirit tonight, your heart and your mind. So when we look in verse 2425, a little bit further, it says in verse 25, of Matthew chapter seven, the rain came down the streams rose, the wind blew against that house. Yet it did not fall because it had its foundation upon the rock. How do I get upon the rock? He places me on the rock, Psalm 40. He gave me a firm place to stand. He set my feet upon the rock, he he he, what a gracious God we serve. What a God a favor. What a God of blessing, what a God of miracles, Psalm 40. And then we have we see very clearly in Matthew chapter seven, the wise builder, I am building on a foundation that has already been laid, I am building upon the rock that my feet are already on. So I had to get on for for me to understand what I am standing on. So God always comes to us. God reveals to us, God draws us. God has got you. God has taken you out of the mud and the mom saying you because this this is me as well. This is all of us. I really believe I really believe this is all of us, For all have sinned and fallen short of thy glory. This is not a dowel message. This is not a woe is me. This is this is a revelation to understand that my feet are upon the rock and the joy of the Lord is my strength. Nehemiah chapter eight, the joy of the Lord is my strength. And God has you. Your journey is okay because God is with you. And God has not rejected you. We see that through the Scripture because he says I will not leave you as orphans. After I've gone to the cross, after the scriptures have been fulfilled, after the Old Testament prophecies after the the entire book of the Old Testament, as we know has been fulfilled and the fulfillment was when Christ went to the cross and he said it is finished. Once the temple curtain was torn into and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. Then we entered into a new covenant. So what are we doing tonight we are we are resting and we are being still and we are waiting patiently on the Lord. But he's already moving. He has already moved he's already pressing he is already drawing. He is already calling it is a continuum. I will not leave you as orphans I Will not I will not leave you you. You are blessed. Sometimes it can be so difficult. To look at life circumstances, and go God, I can't say I am blessed. The greatest blessing I've ever had in my life is is salvation that is for every one of us. That is the greatest miracle. That is the greatest call that is the greatest area of our lives, that God saved us. So tonight as we come to this, as we just take of this, as we look at this, as Christ said, on the cross, it is finish. This is where this all comes into being. We was like, almost accelerated catapulted through right the way through this, this unbelievable position, to get to the Father. And the only way to get to the Father is through Christ Jesus. And this is through take another cop and breaking the bread. This is so powerful, this is so glorious. This has nothing to do with with any religious person. This has to do with Christ. This has to do with the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, we are remembering the redemption plan, we are remembering the Passover, we are remembering the Old Testaments being fulfilled through our Christ, the King of kings, fulfilling the Old Covenant then suddenly there was a breaking there was a breaking you can almost hear a crasher the heavens were funding the everything was moving to the world, everything you know, unbelievable power at the cross of Calvary. It says that Christ this armed He disarmed the authorities, the prints of powers, the the authorities, He disarmed everything. And he brought in he brought in salvation because salvation wasn't possible, until Christ went to the cross of Calvary, a complete different subject that complete different subject and study. We understand that without some expository preaching, and without some going into a deeper stuff there. But we clearly understand as we come to the table, as we gather as we break bread together right now. And this bread just symbolizes what a terrible thing to say just symbolizes what an awful I'm so sorry. I'm sorry, God, I didn't mean to say like that. But but you know, you know what I'm saying, Father, as we break bread time is just racing. Father, we break bread together tonight, Lord, and dear God in heaven, we thank you for the power of the living Word of God. We thank you that the old Scripture, the Old Testament, the Old had been completed because of the cross of Calvary, and salvation, salvation. Salvation is with us, we are saved. So tonight, Lord, as I take this cup, as I take this bread and I, as I do this with brothers and sisters around the world, I thank You, Lord, that I can sit here on my own, in the studio, with no one around me physically, but with my brothers and sisters, now that I believe the greatest writer Paul of the New Testament, he writes this, even though I can't be with you in bodily form, I'm with you in spirit. That's really refreshing to know. Even though we can't be in the physical, we are together in the kingdom. Because the Kings domain is spiritual. We are in the physical realm. And until Christ calls me home, I won't get into the spiritual. I know there are many believers out there that are levitating on their holy segways flowing in and out the clouds I get I hear what you're saying. But when we look really at theological truths, when we look at the word of God, when we look clearly what it says, I'm in a physical world, waiting for this earth suit to be called into glory, called into eternity, called into His kingdom, called into paradise within a twinkling of an eye, I can only get into that place when I want when I die. That's fact. So at the moment, I am walking the physical Earth, I live in the physical realm. I operate through sensual perception, through touch through smell, through eyesight through perception of life, through thinking through operating, but the king's domain the kingdom is within and the king dumb is far beyond what the human eye can see. We've only got a look what John says, I was caught up on the Lord's Day. I was called up into have a read, have a read where he is called into. But all the time I am breathing and I am walking or I am living on this earth. If I am a human being, I am a human being. That is learning to follow a supernatural God. And that supernatural God is the God of Israel that spoke this world into being, he spoke universes. He spoke atoms into being he spoke the formation of life. He spoke everything into being. And you belong to that God, that God was, Oh Lord, I'm sorry, I've used a terrible terminology. You belong to the god, the great I AM. So they got in heaven, as I break this bread together with my brothers and sisters, even though I can't be with them in bodily form, we have a connection through the word of God, that that that connection that is undescribable through the English English language. So Father, forgive me tonight, Christ, I come to you. And I asked for forgiveness. Forgive me, and wash me in the blood of Jesus. And as I hold this bread, I thank you that this bread symbolizes the body of Christ in Jesus name, amen. There is power in the name of Jesus. We are physical. Everything about us is physical. But then we have a supernatural God that came into us that opened our hearts and our minds and our eyesight to the spiritual is really interesting. You've got these different realms, we've got these, these different realms of life, we've got these different layers of, of we got the physical and we got the spiritual. We can pick up the spiritual, but some say and they can see certain spiritual things, visions and dreams. I get that I understand that without going into the into that that conversation tonight. But Jesus loves us, I've got to keep it simple. I've got to keep it real. It's got to be kept authentic. It can't be taken off any more into the Evangelical, the crazy Pentecostal language and the that that conversation that's out there. I am a sinner saved by grace. That's it. The New Testament writer writes, as he writes right across the page. So many epistles, so many great writings, a wretched man of mine. So far as we take this cup tonight, wash us in the blood of Jesus, cleansed me, Lord, from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet. Lord, I thank you for your word. Your Word is yes and amen. And I believe I believe that blood was shed at Calvary. I believe in the word of God, I believe in the Son. I believe in the Father, I believe in the Holy Ghost. I believe Genesis to Revelation helped me understand, reveal it to me, guide me in paths of righteousness. But right now, Lord, as we are connected. I just thank you, that I am washed and cleansed in the blood of Jesus Christ. Amen. saved by grace, not by works. Oh, that makes me want to go and dance in the most religious place. It makes me want to shout and scream in the cathedrals that are around. I'm saved by grace. All of this stonework, all of this artwork, all of the vaults of money, has no press on it has no power. I am saved by the grace of God. It is by grace you have been saved. Not by work so no one can boast. I thank you Jesus for tonight. I pray Dear God, that you will bless everybody on the other side of the camera, all those in the world of podcasting that will capture this next week. This Holy Communion Holy Communion. Can I even use that anymore? Should I be using the word as we celebrate the festival of the Passover? What was Jesus doing? That is the question What was Jesus doing? Breaking bread? Take another cup. Remembering what remembering the Passover. So Father, I thank you that As we remembered as I remember the paths over and we may be saying, What are you on about the Passover? Exodus chapter 12, go and read, verse 12, all the way through. Interesting, I will pass over God says, the blood will be a sign what have we done tonight, we recognize the blood is the cell, the blood is the sign, the Scripture is the word. So, however we bring all this together, whatever way we look at this, we are saved. We are blessed. We are chosen you our children in the living God. May God bless you and strengthen you.
