But we just want to say thank you to everybody that captures these podcasts and downloads, there's 1000s of downloads across the world and the families that we connect with in New Zealand and Australia. And I know people are away this evening people are traveling, so may God carry that aircraft or if you've landed, you may have may you have a wonderful break for your family, and your friends or whoever. And wherever you've gone. I just pray for those that are at work this evening. I just pray that goes straight for you. I pray for those that are caught up in business and really pressing and really worried about business and life. I just pray that God will guide you and make your way where there seems to be no way I just pray that God will strengthen you whether you're a single parent family, whether the family is dancing, and everything is wonderful, with all the bells and whistles on it, whoever wherever, whatever you are, and whatever is going on. May God bless you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. But we're going to dive straight into the Old Testament this evening. We're going into the book of Deuteronomy, chapter six. And we're reading the first 19 verses. And it's a pretty simple read tonight. So it's an easy read. But there's a lot packed in there. It's about not forgetting the commandments of God, not forgetting the decrees of God, not forgetting the law of God loving the Lord your God with all your heart, not following foreign gods. And then there's an interesting section. And I pray that God will reveal that as we press into verse 12, it says, Do not forget the Lord your God is a jealous God, he's a, he's a he's a god of rough and he's a God of all days of God of strength. And we are sitting within the UK tonight and whether you might be in the UK or out of the UK, we have a very, I would say a big percentage of church and, and religion and organizations it it is quite weak spiritually, you know, I and we are in need we are in need in this nation, to turn away from following foreign gods, idols, materialism. And can I say like this, turn our eyes back to Christ. I pray that psalm many I pray that everyone will agree you know, and I know we get caught up on the treadmill of life I know we got there's mortgages got to be paid, there's rents got to be paid to the food has got to be put on the table, the field has got to be put in the tank. I understand about Bill pain, I understand what it's like to have the stress of money and the worry about that. Because look at this. Look at this church, you know that we are living by faith, we live by faith in this place. And it is a worry and then you've got your your workplace issues on top. You've got your family pressures, you got worried about your children, you're worrying about life and we're where we sit with the fuel and the economy and everything that's going on. But when we look at the scripture that we are in tonight, it's a very simple scripture. And it reads very, very, very easy there. And as we just read together you want to do you want to get yourself a Bible. We're in the book of Deuteronomy, chapter six, verse one through to the end of verse 19. And again, I pray that wherever you are across this earth tonight, that you will find the blessing To the Lord and you will have a revelation or knowledge experience through the scriptures and through the power of the Holy Spirit that God will reveal to you tonight, whether you're just perusing for the socials, maybe you just seem to land on to an alien church, one, the, and suddenly you recognize that vicar talking. Again, and he's rambling on again, I just pray that wherever you are tonight that God will carry you, God will guide you whether you're an atheist and agnostic deck, wherever you're sitting on the fence, whether you're in church, out of the church, whatever your situation is, I just pray that the handle God will be really fell upon you tonight, you will just feel that God has just wrapped you up in his Word in his love, in His presence, that you will just feel the glory of God. So wherever you are on this earth, whether you're on holiday, whether you're in a different part of this nation, wherever you are, this season, I pray with all my heart that you will just find the love of God and God has presented Himself to you, you know, he has kept you he has strengthened you. But within the UK, we are caught I'm going to put it like this Can I Can I just say we just for that just for a moment, are we a nation that is very materialistic, have we been brought up in a culture and a society where everything has to be, we are judged and analyzed and looked at and we are marked in the register book by many people by what we have in the way of material possession, the postcode in which we live in, where the children go to school, what job I have, you know, what, and how many bedrooms we have and how big the house is, and how many acres of land we got by material wealth? Well, the Bible makes it very, very clear that we cannot we cannot take this material wealth with us. The Bible makes it very clear, do not serve and do not follow foreign gods. The Bible makes it also clear says Do not put your trust in in chariots and horses in the Old Testament within the world structure but trust and put your faith in God. I'm not saying that there's nothing wrong with with owning and having I'm not saying that. What I'm saying is if I was to have all that, would it be before my my love of God? Or would materialism be at the forefront of my life? Or where would I be? That is a question the rhetorical question I asked myself and thinking about that question as we speak. And as we look at the scripture, and you will find in a scripture that we're going to go to very, very shortly, you may want to read ahead for those that just want to gallop ahead, please go to Deuteronomy, chapter six, verse one through to the end of verse 19. But roundabout, verse 11, it talks about your houses will be filled, made will be says it will be filled. But when they are filled up with material things, and material possessions, don't take your eyes off of God. I believe I really believe within this UK, we are in a position of where we are seeing the systems of the world crashing. We are seeing systems whether the political agenda, whether the finance markets, I honestly believe and this is not I'm not on a downer, I believe through Scripture and I see through scripture that we are at the economy is in a very steep decline. Yes, I know we look at that debt clock. Yes, we hear about that. But but above the debt clock above the way that is ticking the wrong way, you can see that the economy is really starting to slip. And also the cogs of the cogs of society are starting to jam up as well. So there's a lot of things happening and it's affecting, I would say the majority of us a mass percentage of us that work and live within the UK, I really believe that we are starting to fill the the cogs of society, the the money areas, the workplace issues that we're working with. We're just keep working on working on working one job two jobs, three jobs. And it's it's really important that I take my eyes off of the cogs of industry. And I focus on my god because back way back in the Old Testament, we see very clearly that God gives this command that I'm going to read the Scripture, and I thank God for the power of revelation or knowledge that God will reveal for the power of the Holy Spirit, for that sweet still voice that the Scripture speaks to wherever you are on planet Earth tonight. I pray that God will reveal His word to you. And what is so glorious and so beautiful, or one of the great things about Christ is that yes, it's important that we gather together and we break bread together and we be together and when we are able to do that, but for all those that find it very difficult to get the church the shifts that you work, don't work out. Family things you know stuff going on. Never worry about getting to the building, because God is with you. Yes. See, yes, it's really important that we do gather together. And we have that fellowship time together. That's really really important. That's Biblical. That's very clear biblical teaching. But what I've got to remember is that wherever I go and wherever wherever you are tonight, wherever your feet are, God is with you. Wherever your stretches, you may be in an aircraft, God is with you. You may be at your desk tonight working God is with you. You might be working in retail accountancy you might be in a health care person, wherever, whatever your job is, God is with you. Whether you're at home tonight, God is with you, whether you're walking, whatever you may be doing, wherever you are, God is with you. Because God is omnipresent. God is omnipotent. God is in all things. God is about all things, all things consists because of him. But there is a very clear text that we will be going to tonight that he says he's a jealous God. He's a God not to be messed about. He, he he deals with areas of falling away. Now, when we talk about falling away, straight away, we talk about sin. I know that I sin, I live and I make mistakes I do I live in a world that is extremely anti Christ. So I make mistakes, I make wrong choices. I make wrong lifestyle choices, I say the wrong things, I do the wrong thing. And I act the wrong thing. I know that I make mistakes in my life, and I am not perfect in any way shape, or form. Every one of you on that on the other side of this camera tonight, you are living much greater than I am living. Because I have to understand where the scripture says our wretched man or my why do I do the things I hate? Why can't I do the things that are that I know that I should be doing? So I know very clearly through Scripture that, that being a believer, firstly is recognizing that there is power in the name of Jesus, understanding that salvation is upon us that I cannot save myself, I do not have that power within me to save myself. God is the one that comes and saves us. God washes us through the blood of the Messiah, which is His Son, Christ Jesus. So I am in a society, in a culture and in a nation that is completely anti God. And everything that we look at, through advertising, through the selling of clothes, through the selling of holidays, through the selling of anything, the majority of it the way the media uses that through social networks, and everything is the way it's sexualized is everything. The eyes The eyes are attracted to so much you got to be careful what we get attracted and kin to very, very careful. The advertising media the way he uses it, the way he uses the attraction, the eyes, the essential perception, the touch, the smell, everything of life. It knows what the flesh wants, and I am flesh. And believe it or not, we are all flesh and bone and blood, but by the saving grace and by the mercy and the power of the living God. What I'm trying to get to is, I know that my Redeemer lives, I know that I live in a nation that is not for God. I know now very clearly that this nation isn't a Christian nation. I know that the leaders in this nation do not believe. And when I say the nation, the leaders I would say a mass percentage of the leaders in the political area and a mass percentage of the educational area and a mass percentage and in big hits in areas of leadership. Do not believe in the word of God. We see that because the word of God has been is been and has been stripped by a big chunk out of education, out of business, out of politics, out of culture, out of life. You know that you might remember oh, you know that the great ministry that Gideons formerly known changed now to good news for everybody that great ministry of the Gideons where they give Bibles away, they go into schools, they go into the hotels they give they give they give the word of God, even they are finding it difficult to give the word of God away because there's a shutdown, because leadership do not and certain managers in certain areas do not want the Word of God. But what we look at here is something very clear. Now I'm gonna read this scripture now, because time is absolutely galloping away. So let's get into the text. And let's see what the Word says. I pray that wherever you are tonight that you have a Bible, and you get a new read the Word of God, you know what I love about a word of God. God sent His Son to save me. He washed me in the blood of Jesus. And He knows my failings. He knows my idiosyncrasies. He knows the pressures of life. He knows my thinking. He knows my attitude. He knows my character, He created me in my mother's womb before the foundation of the world according to the biblical scriptures, and I believe in creation. I believe in heaven. I believe there is a hell I believe there is the first there is a last I believe in the rapture. I believe in the birth the death the resurrection of Jesus Christ, I believe that God said, Let there be light. And there was, I believe everything from Genesis to Revelation. And as we say, and we understand, I believe, but then Lord, I need to have an understanding. And that understanding can only be brought, brought to me through the power of God revealing, it's okay to have information. But information in life only stays information, and it has a scene in level, but then that information, the word of God has to have the supernatural breadth of God over that. And then suddenly, what I have before me as I read it, yes, I am informed but then God reveals what the depth and the context and the understanding of the text, so we need God to give us revelational knowledge so that we can you can I can, we all can understand and get the correct interpretation of the word of God. See, I can interpret God's word, but is it me that is interpretating God's word? Or is it the Holy Spirit? Have I leaned back and sat back and being still and to let God move in the Scripture? Or am I because we can always take a text out of context, we can always manipulate something to fit how we feel. It's really powerful. The Word of God because the word of God brings me under conviction, from my thinking, my attitude, my actions and my life. The Word of God brings me under conviction. God's word is power. God's word is life. God's word is hope. God's word is future, but God lays down a lot of commandments and criterias that I have to follow. But if I break that, if I sin, I come back to Christ and say, Father, forgive me for I've sinned and fallen short of your glory. Can you please wash me I know I failed you. I know I've stepped out of line wash me in the word of in the in the blood of Jesus. See, there is power in the blood, there is life in the blood, right verse one, verse, one of Deuteronomy, chapter six. And it says, These are the commandments that decrees and the laws, that the Lord your God directed me to teach you to observe in the land that your ancestors or your ancestor that are crossing over the Jordan, to possess, verse two of Deuteronomy, chapter six, it says, So do that the children and their children, after them may fear the Lord your God, as long as you live by keeping all his decrees and His commandments that I give you, so that you may enjoy long life very interested in it so that you will enjoy long life here, Israel, and be careful to obey so that it may go well with you and that you may increase greatly in the land flowing with milk and honey, just as the Lord, the God of your ancestors has promised you. Here, O Israel, the Lord, your God, the Lord is one very interested in the Lord your God, the Lord is one. Now from verse five, I pray that God will reveal this to me and to you as we listen as we hear, as we take it into our air gate, our eye gate, you know, we got got to make sure that I get the word on the tablet of my heart, verse five of Deuteronomy, chapter six, Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, these commandments that I give you today, to be on your heart, impress them on your children, talk about them when you sit down at home, and when you go for a walk along the road. And when you lie down, and when you get up, tie them as a symbol on your hands and bind them around your foreheads. Write them on your doorframes and on your house, and it says and on your gates. Now we're in verse 10. It says, Then the Lord your God brings you into the land and he swore to the forefathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give you a land with large flourishing cities, that you do not build houses filled with all kinds of good things you did not provide. Well, well as I searched a wells that you did not dig wells that you did not dig and Vine yards and olive groves that you did not plan. And when you eat and you are satisfied now, verse 12, verse 12, be careful that you do not forget the Lord who brought you up out of Egypt out of the land of slavery. Further Lord your God, serve him only and take your oats in his name, verse 14 of Deuteronomy, chapter six, do not follow other gods, the gods of the peoples around you so important, the peoples around how we dissect how we separate that, how we interpretate that, how we look at that how we feel our, our way through that Scripture is really, really important because in culture, society where you work, where you don't work, where you live, where you surrender your life, whatever you do, the peoples around you, let's, let's just pray that God will reveal that to you wherever you are. And as that text is read out, he says, Do verse 14 of Deuteronomy, chapter six, do not follow other gods, the gods of the peoples around you, for the Lord, your God who is among you, is a jealous God, and he, his anger, sorry, will burn against you, and He will destroy you from the face of the land. This is a very strong text that we are in. It says, Do not put the Lord your God to the test, as you did in Mercia. Be sure to keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and the stipulations and the decrees he has given you do not or where it says there did. Sometimes I've read so much from the King James, I automatically go from King James to NIV. So sometimes there is a mixture, because I know that scripture that's coming out, which isn't which isn't a good thing, because I got to understand the correct interpretation. So in verse 18, it says, do what is right and good in the Lord's sight. So they may go well with you. And you may go on and in and overtake the good land that the Lord promised on oath to your ancestors, thrashing out all your enemy enemies before you, as the Lord said, Now, if we was just to go back up, if we can just pedal back, if we can just walk backwards to around about verse 11, and verse 10, it makes this very clear, 1011 and 12. Let's just, let's just hold it there. And if we get time, we'll drop into verse 14, I hope you can hear me loud and clear on I'm not checking the system. I'm just reading and just pressing into this, but welcome. I see people jumping online all the time, they got strength for you in the name of Jesus. Now, verse 10, of Deuteronomy, chapter six, it says, When the Lord your God brings you into the land, he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac to Jacob, to give you a land with large, now this is important. God speaks about a large territory, a large area that has been given that has been promised. Now within the promise, we start to find what is mentioned within the promise. Now, it says, with land, which is large, flourishing cities, you did not build. So God God is promising us, that God will place us and God will lead us into the area of prosperity, and to areas and to situations that we find ourselves in that we did not build, that we did not formulate, that we had no constructive effort in whatsoever. But if you follow God, and God takes you into the promise, and God leads you into the promise, and God takes you out of the wilderness, and as this is what this is about, getting ready to cross over to Jordan go into the Promised Land. I really believe that at the moment, we are sitting on the other side, I should say on waiting to go spiritually across to the Promised Land, as in the spiritual walk across the Jordan, I believe God is preparing us and all of a sudden we will see miracles happen we will see a real powerful move in the spirit realm, in that dimension that we cannot see with our natural eyes and what we are picking up because the atmosphere I will use the word atmosphere, the spiritual climate feels very hot, it feels very tender. There are things happening in the spiritual realms that I thought that I would never see. And almost that that spiritual world feels very tangible. We know that we talk a lot here about this physical world that we live in. And God is making this very clear you will go into the Promised Land and the Promised Land is what what is the Promised Land God, the Promised Land is the promised land obviously that I have promised to you. But in that promise, you will find that you will have buildings you will have homes, you will have olive groves you will have land and you will have jobs and you there will be cities and there will be a place to rest your head. But when I take you into that place of fulfillment, I asked this of you What do you ask God of me that you do not serve and follow the gods of the peoples around you? Goodness, we this is right on the button. This is wagging the Taos tonight I tell Oh, this is this. Oh, that's not a very good theological way to put that is it? Reverend Ben Cooper very careful, be very, very careful. Or wretched man am I now in verse verse, verse 10, verse 10, let's let's back up let's back up. The Lord your God will bring you into the land he swore to the forefathers, God has given a promise. And God promise will always supply Oh My God shall supply all my needs, according to the riches in glory. Now I have to go to work, you have to go to work, whether we have a job or we don't have a job, whether we are in capacity incapacitated, because we are looking after people are we are at work, yes, we understand what work means we might not be able to go to work because we physically can't you understand what I'm saying about work in one way or another. We all work whether we work as a homemaker, whether we work as in an outgoing at one way or another, there is work to do within our lives, within our own lives. And with our own concept of life, there is work to do around and we all live in homes, we all we all have vehicles, we all have TVs we all live in cities, we might live in villages, we might live in towns, but this is very, this is very clear for where we live and where we are today. Even though this is 1000s of years old, this this old text from the Old Testament, this is really clear, because God has given a promise God has spoken to us, and where we sit within the UK, where we are completely drawn into materialism. And what we have found with materialism and what we have found with social, the social life what we have found is through locked down one a few things I should say were very clear in locked down. One materialism cannot buy your heartbeat, that your our social, social life cannot buy us a heartbeat. So all of a sudden through lockdown what has happened, I believe lockdown has opened our eyes. And the Bible talks about in the last days, there'll be plagues and be wars, rumors of wars desolation. So I honestly believe the word COVID-19 is connected biblically. And I believe that was a plague I honestly believe I believe and I don't want to go down that road. Maybe that's a different night, a different subject for different time for talking and looking at. But as you look in the Word of God, so what I want to try and get over is that we all work we all live, whether we work at home, whatever you do in our lives, we work or we move, there is some physical movement in our lives, whether we, we can't move because we're not well, and we are restricted. That's irrelevant, but we all work in it in a roundabout way. And there are there is actions upon our physical being that we move and we keep, we all live in towns, cities, villages, whatever. So we all come into this bracket in one way or another. We are all caught in the Word of God here. And it says the land which I swore and I have to bring, God has to bring the promises into into the physical existence because his word cannot return void. The scripture says everything that God has spoken, has to end it will, no matter what God's word, even if I am not living as I should. God's word cannot return void. So what happens as God's Word and His promises are yes and amen. As his promises are being revealed to us. And if I'm out of line with his word, what happens is the Holy Spirit brings me on the conviction which brings me back to the to the Word of God which puts me back in the position of being under and in the Father's will not that the Father has stopped loving me but I come out of the Father's will, like the political I come out I come out of his will, not out of his love. We you are always in the Father's love. Because the Scripture says in Romans chapter eight, I must emphasize this. Nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. Nothing can if you are worried that you feel separated from God, it's really critical for us as believers to understand there is nothing that can separate us from the love of God. Hardship famine, nakedness, parallel or sword. The Scripture says, No in all things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced neither life nor depth, nor angels, nor demons, neither present nor the future, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. Now, I've done that from memory. It's really important that you go to Romans chapter eight, and you read that and you get that and you read it that I haven't read that out of out of line of God's word. It's really important that we read that. So every scripture that I bring to the table, it's really important that we ransack that when we find that so in the scripture that we are in we're in Deuteronomy chapter six, and we are looking at Verse 10, for those that are just joining us online, and I've got a press because of time. So what we have here, God has given a clear, a very clear cut commandment, Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul with all your mind, and with all your strength, keep the commandments, and it says, impress them on your children. And he says, Put them and talk about them. When you sit down when you go to bed at night, think about them the Bible in in Joshua Joshua chapter one, it talks about Do not let the book of the Lord depart from your mouth, meditate day and night so that you will be successful and prosperous. And it will be well with you very important that I do not let the BLUE BOOK OF THE LORD depart from my mouth. But here, this gives me a very clear picture, that I go to work, we go to work, we live our lives, whether we're in work out of work, whatever we may be doing, the footprint that we have on this world, is sitting here in this scripture, and it says, The land that I have promised you, and it says it will be a large land flourishing cities that you did not build. So we may have had no input into the building of the cities and the town's and the environment around us. Now that's really obvious, and that can be clear. And it says, houses filled with all kinds of things that you did not provide. God has place. I know, through the power of trading of finance and liquidity, we accumulate things by the power of the transaction of money, because money is a trader, but believe it or believe it, not, my God, the Scripture says My God shall supply all my needs according to their riches and glory. But when I look at this scripture, they don't talk about money. It doesn't talk about the value of money. But within the UK, we have been brought up in, in in society, cultures and everything about life. The value when I say about the value of the money, I'm not referring to understanding what the value of the pound, actually is about. But if I look at the money, too much that Matt that value, that pound that no, that money, that coin suddenly becomes a god to me, and I put more weight and I put more faith in the wage packet, I put more faith in the Universal Credit, I put more faith in, in the trade in in the world's trading ticket, whether that's money, whether that's credit, whatever that may be, I'm putting more weight on the pound and the value of the pound rather than trusting God. Because the Bible makes this very clear. My God shall supply all my needs according to their riches in glory. So when we are in Deuteronomy, chapter six, and we look at this, you are in a home, you live in a city, you live in a town, you live in a village, wherever you live, obviously, we had no input to the building and the infrastructure, and our many may have in certain areas of architecture, and you get what I'm trying to say, from the scripture that God will supply, everything that we need. And we seem I should I say, we may seem to think that we have on what we have, as brim brought into existence because of the value of the money. Well, God doesn't work like that. God supplies all our needs, according to their riches and glory. Now, the essential things that we need, what are the essential things that we need? We know we know, we know that we need water and clothing and shelter. Now the Bible tells us that, but also God tells us this as well. When I take you into the Promised Land, I'm going to take you into your promise that I promise you, I'm going to take you into a blessing. Now, there are many people with beautiful blessings around us and upon us. Now, I've got to be careful that the blessing doesn't become a foreign god that I worship, the blessing that I have that God has provided that I look at that. And I say look at what I have looked what I have accumulated through my work through this because God has given every one of you a skill set, God has given you a skill set. And every one of you are gifted in many ways. Whatever your footprint, whatever your press on humanity is, you are gifted, you are gifted and you are a unique individual and you are needed in your circle of life. God loves you, wherever you may have dropped into this live stream, whether you're an atheist and agnostic, whether you're sitting on the fence, or whatever, whatever sitting on your sofa, wherever you are tonight, whatever you are doing, I really believe I really believe that we are seeing the supernatural power of the everlasting God. Now as we press down Now time is pressing are putting these these glasses back on a moment as we read this scripture. It says this when God brings you into the promise, when God takes you from where you are into this new area of living snoo lifestyle, you will be living in cities that will be flourishing, you will be that you did not build your houses will be filled with all kinds of goods, that you did not provide wells that you did not dig. And then then it goes on Vine yards and olive groves that you did not plant. And when you eat and you are satisfied, now this is critical for me. So within the environment around me, I do not, I cannot allow the environment, the material environment, because what I see is the materialism of the world. But there is a spiritual world there is a layer outside of what we see with our natural eyes. And that is that spiritual layer, the heavenly realms that the Bible speaks about, that makes it very, very clear understanding of that is in existence and what we call a different dimension, the dimension that the human being cannot experience I understanding visions and dreams, and the power of Revelation. But God drops visions and dreams, there is something very different about visions and dreams, to having an actual spiritual encounter. I don't want to I've got to be kept on trying to keep this tight on where we sit tonight. So he says, You will live in cities that you had no power over, you will have food that wasn't attracted to you, but it came to you. You will have areas of life you will have things you will have structures around you. God has placed many things in our lives, that we possibly think that we had some power over accumulating, But my God shall supply all my needs according to the riches in glory. We understand that the world trades in money we understand in the power of liquidity and assets. And the way that money flows in the way transaction we understand about trade. We've experienced this the trade deals through Brexit and everything. So we understand trade. The Bible talks about trade. We understand the Bible talks about the fishermen that they knew how to fish, they was they was businessmen, they traded they knew how to trade. So we understand what money means we get that. But what I want to just get to in his closing moments of this online service and thank you for joining us tonight. May God bless you wherever you are. It says when you have all this. Now, every one of us has all this around us. We have this around our lives we have this around our being when you you We have TVs we have phones, we have gadgets, we have technology, we have Wi Fi, you know we have we have everything that the Word of God is speaking about. But then he says this in verse 12, or Deuteronomy, chapter six, be careful that you do not forget the Lord. This is the UK right now, as in the Christian understanding of what we was. The UK is not a Christian nation anymore. It is a nation that is filled with humanism. It is a nation that is filled with attitude. It is a nation that is filled with anticipation. It is an nation filled with arrogance. It is a nation filled with anger and frustration. There are certain leaders in certain layers and ivory towers that are all for themselves. And when you look at the text that we are in at this moment, God is saying when you have all this around you do not forget me. And as the world has progressed, progress, sorry. I'm tired. I've had a long day of speaking been busy, busy, busy. So forgive my pronounciation this evening. So what we find within the West and within the UK, we are very industrialized we are we are a nation of industry have we got to produce, I've got to go shopping, I've got to buy, I've got to I have to have, I need and I want but actually needs and wants are very different. Now the flesh craves, let's say this, say like this, the flesh craves materialism, when I get the car, I will be satisfied when I get the new home, I will be satisfied when I get the new job, I'll have extra money that will be able to give us a bigger car, a bigger place a bigger postcode, and I'll be I will be able to do so suddenly I present myself and I put myself in the in the position and in the stretch of me being the provider rather than than God being a provider. And God has made this a very clear warning to the globe, not just the UK but the entire creation that the whole globe. When you live in cities when you live in your house is when you sit back on your sofa is when you have what you have now. Really interesting in the Old Testament. God says this My house is a rock and roll We're in. But then he says, Your house is built with gold, silver, but my house is a wreck and ruin. Now, the house of the Lord, He's saying, my temple, my place well, I dwell you have let that go. But your house, your house, Ben, you've got TVs, you've got carpet, you've got this. You've got that. You've got cars, you've accumulated materialism. And my house, the Scripture says, is a wrack and ruin. God gives a very clear warning. If you keep building ivory towers, if you keep building towers of Babel, if you keep building towers to foreign gods, I will break those towers. All the vicar said God will break the towers is a God of love. He loves everybody the scripture that we are about to read, the Scripture says, I am a jealous God. And I will not be mocked, and I will share my glory with no one. It's it seems interesting to my heart tonight, that a mass percentage of the church has forgotten what God has said in the Old Testament. Yes, but we're in a new covenant. Reverend. Yes, we're at the time of the cross. We're in grace. Ah, but this is what my Bible says. I am the same yesterday, today and forever more. I am from the First and the Last. I am from Genesis to Revelation. I am the great I Am I am in the wind. I am the wind I am the sun. I am the sun's rays. I am the creation. I am the rhema word. I am the spoken word. I am the Living God and I am your God. And I'm speaking to me sorry, I don't mean to point to tarot. I don't mean to point in a camera. Please forgive me. I'm not I'm sorry, not pointing at the camera. That's such a wrong thing to do. But he says in verse 12, he says in verse 12, he says, Be careful that you do not forget the Lord the UK has forgotten the Lord, why is it forgotten? forgotten the Lord? Because we are driven by a system, whatever way you look at the system, the finance markets, the political system, the monarchy system, the education that has driven out and has intentions of erasing, or trying to remove God out of society and pushing God out of the way. Well, I want to say this to any leaders that are trying their very best to remove Christianity out, may God have mercy on your soul, because we are living in very powerful spiritual times. And my God, the God of Israel, is a God that will not be mocked, and he will tear down any ministry. That man is trying to build bigger than God, God will tear down any denomination that comes away from the Word of God and does and preaches the wrong interpretation of his word. Because God makes this clear, do not come away from my commandments. If you come away from my commandments, and you start building ivory towers, towers of Babel, and you start building towers to your name, I will come and I will cut down with the axe that route and I will drop that tree because I am a jealous God. And I'm a God that will not be marked. The UK is going through a spiritual rumbling. I will say at this moment where God is breathing, and God is drawing people to Himself, where church and I will say preachers and teachers, evangelists and I will label them as that have not delivered the Word of God and correct biblical sound teaching. There is a difference between teaching and understanding. So I've got to be careful because time is escaping us. It says in verse 12, I'm going to finish in any moment. It says, Be careful that you do not forget the Lord who bought you up out of Egypt out of the land of slavery, fear the Lord your God, serve him only, and take your oath in his name. Do not follow other gods, our Lord. Verse 15, a very verse 14 of Deuteronomy, chapter six. It says do not follow other gods, the gods of the peoples around you, the material gods, the foreign gods we are in and coming out the back end. I think we've come out of that now, the summer solstice. You know where we've had Stonehenge and all that sort of stuff that everything is going on the gods that are around you one festival that's happening, and you've only got a look at witchcraft and all the stuff that's going on. It says this very clearly as we bring this to a close Do not follow the other gods, the gods of the people around you. It says, For the Lord your God who is among you. Even though there are foreign gods, even though there are gods of this other world there are what we what we know sons of gods, even though these antichrist and these, these anti gods and these foreign gods are about God is amongst those gods, God is amongst us very interested in how this scripture is being revealed to each and every one of us do not follow the other gods, the Lord God of all, he says, verse 15, and my eyes are rushing in it says, verse 15, it says, For the Lord, your God is among you, he is a jealous God, and His anger will burn against you, My God hasn't changed. And this is the God that I am reading about my God, the God of Israel, is a jealous God. And his anger will burn against any one, or any denomination, or any government or any system that tries to push him out, he will only accept a certain part of acceptance, until he says, This is enough. When I say accept, I don't mean accept, as in we understand the word of accept, but I've used that just so we can get some form of an attachment and understanding to that, because he cannot accept. So what I mean is, he will go so far, and he will allow us to go so far, just like they built a tower of Babel. But suddenly they got it so far. And he said, This is it. I'm coming down to see what you're doing. And I'm coming down to destroy what you are building. This is so clear. Now, he says, Do not follow other gods, the gods of the peoples around you. For the Lord your God who is among you, is a jealous God, and His anger will burn against you. He will destroy you from the face of the land. Do not put the Lord your God to the test as you did. And Mercia. Be sure to keep the commandments, the Lord your God, the stipulations and the decrees, he has given you do not do not or, or it says at some translations that it very clear it says, do what is right and good in the sight of the Lord. So that it may go well with you. And you may go in and go out and take the land the Lord thy God has promised you so much to get from the text tonight, there is there is a lot there is a lot, there is a lot in this word. And we are in a very precarious position. And I will say as a nation, but if you are a believer, if you are a believer, all is well in your house, all is well upon you all is well around you all is well within you. But if you are not for God, and when I say any areas of business, I don't want to go down that drum because I don't know open up this can. But I really believe the UK is in a spiritual crisis that we haven't been in for many, many years. Where the Bible is telling us through the teachings through the understanding of the word of God, that when we go to work, and when we live our lives, there will be people that will be cultured around us that are serving foreign gods. But as they serve foreign gods, he says the God of Israel is among you. So amongst the foreign gods, there is the God of Israel. And it says he is a jealous God. He is a God of anger, and it will burn against. This is a very deep, and this is a very highly powerful theological text that we are in tonight. And I can't get that with my logic. I can't get that with natural understanding that I need God to reveal that. So this is where Genesis chapter one is really important. So when I understand about the power of the spoken word, when I understand about the power of the rainbow word, the written word, the spoken word, and the word spoke, and God spoke and there was and God separated darkness and light, and the different layers and the different areas of life and when he created the universe when he stretches out the universe, as the Old Testament says as he stretches it out so clearly as a scroll. I've got to understand that God is walking with me around our culture's our societies. And he's a God that will not be mocked. He's a God that is a jealous God and he will tear down and we are starting to see a tearing down. Now the wheels of industry through the world of mechanism, the wills of life, are they just ceasing? Or is God stop in the worlds of industry? What is stopping the mechanism of life failing at this moment? Why are we seeing so much failure failure within the system? Is it because it is such a strong worldly system, and it is trying to push God out the way, and God is doing what the Scripture says, and he says, I will stop, and I will tear down, and I will break and I will break anything that is trying to climb itself higher than me. We are living in a very powerful time. God is with you. God loves you. I bid you good night, I pray that God will strengthen you tonight. And wherever you are, God is with you. And please, if you feel very fearful of the times in which we live, and you feel that maybe God has left you or there is a separation. That is not true. Because go to the book of Romans, go go and read Romans chapter eight, and just read that beautiful text, that nothing can separate us from the love of God. That is in Christ Jesus, you're saved and you're blessed. Have a wonderful evening, whatever may be ahead of you tonight. Wherever you are across the world. May God be with you and strengthen you. And may God's word just guide you in paths of righteousness. God bless. We'll catch you Sunday morning, Sunday morning at 1045 As we gather for our hybrid service in the house, out the house, online, not online, in church, whether you're on holiday, whether you're at home, whether you're just sitting on the sofa, whether you're just scrolling through through the networks. Thank God God is with you. And he's walking with you. And the Scripture said tonight, although there are worldly gods and foreign gods, God is a man and God is dealing with the foreign gods. So in closing, how do I deal with these issues around us within the UK? Scripture, set it at the very beginning. Follow the Lord thy God with all thy heart have always sold all thy strength. Follow Jesus. Be a Jesus follower. Be a Jesus follower. Follow Jesus. Don't follow me. Follow Jesus. Don't follow religion. Follow Jesus. Don't follow the church's follow Jesus. Don't follow culture. Follow Jesus. Don't follow your neighbor. Follow Jesus. Don't Don't be a follower of anything in the world. Be a follower of the King of glory. Hebrews chapter 12 Verse two, keep your eyes on the author and the perfecter of your faith. Keep your eyes on Jesus. God bless Good night. We will see you soon. Take care. God bless.
