Do you ever feel like God? Where are you? First scripture that we will go to Psalm 83 Good evening and welcome. May God bless you. Thank you so much for joining us here. In Elim Swanley. It is 735 as we just gather around the word of God as everybody's jumping online this evening. Understand the school holidays are upon us people are traveling. Thank God for your lives wherever you are today. But do you ever feel Have you ever felt that heaven has gone like the screen behind me just completely Have you felt that there's just a silence you've prayed and you've prayed and you've prayed? You fasted and you fasted, you've walked with God, you've prayed and you prayed, and you've prayed and you've prayed, your voice is just saw, your bones are aching, and you've prayed and you've prayed and you prayed, there's no change in life. And it's silent. Let's turn to Psalm 83. I think I will be bold enough to say the silence of God is more harrowing than the devil and all these agents coming at me. The silence of God is more stressful and frightening than every satanic attack that Hal could ever push my way. But God is not silent. What we have is a false church, always on the name it and claim it that they're always on the phone line to God, where you will find in the Scripture. God is not quiet. God has spoken from roughly 6000 years ago when God said let there be light and there was and God has given us instruction and clarity and authority through the power of His written Word. So God has spoken. But when I say silent, we are living in a culture where there is so much noise. There is so much turmoil. There is so much unrest the world is just noisy. And we live in within if you live where we live within the West, we are finding that if you are not literally having a full blown conversation with God, every second of the day that you probably aren't saved. Well, the Bible makes it very clear. God has spoken. He says this very clearly. I will not leave you nor forsake you, I will be with you to the very end of this age. God is not silent. Heaven is not silent. What I need to come to an understanding is God knows my beginning and the end. He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. His ways are just so what I should really be saying is God, you are not silent, helped me to be still and know that you are gone. But it can be very difficult to find leaders and brothers and sisters that are literally completely honest and say God, I do feel that you have departed from me. And there is a silence that is so scary. That it's making me worried. But God has said and does say through his word. I will not leave you nor forsake you. Again, I'll repeat myself but we are living in a culture and we are living in a society and we are living in an organized church where the church is planning God's next sentence. They're planning God's next prophetic man move there planning, anticipating that God is going to speak. And when Heaven and when I say it is silent, it is not silent as God would say silent, it is just waiting on Him. God is the healer. God is the king. God is in full charge. But the psalmist puts it like this Psalm 83, Psalm 83. Oh, God, do not remain silent. Do not turn a deaf ear. Do not stand aloof, Oh, God. See how your enemies grow? And how your foes rear their heads. God is not silent. I just want to encourage you this evening in Psalm 83, verse one, oh, God, do not remain silent. Do not turn a deaf ear, and do not stand aloof, Oh, God. God is not silent. As the screen says behind me. God is very aware of our cry of our heart. So what I need to learn to do is to keep walking by faith. Isn't that annoying? When the preachers and the teachers and the pastors just say, just go by faith, we're praying for you don't worry, we will lift you up in prayer when 98% of the time on that said, it doesn't really happen. We have to be completely honest, to walk by faith in a noisy and loud culture, and almost feel as if God has departed. And you feel so alone. As I said, at the start of this this evening, I would rather have all hell break out at me and deal with that, then actually God, never to speak to me again. But God is always speaking. God is always moving. God is in creation, God is in your heart. God is moving on your lips and your mind. And your being at this very moment in time God is with you. And God says I will never leave you nor forsake you. But trying to walk by faith in a world that is contemporary, that is antichrist. That is anti church, anti worship. And t the God of Israel, trying to find the voice and the word for our lives at that moment in time of crisis, amongst a culture that is loud, and brash, and noisy, and shouty and continually pushing and making a noise, trying to find strength in the silence, in the secret place, in the quiet place, in the place where it's so quiet, the quietness can almost make your fear for the quietness can almost make you jump in fear, God, where are you? As the psalmist says, Oh, God, do not remain silent. We have the spoken word from the beginning of creation, not the beginning of time, because God is in time and God created time. God is and he is before the existence of anything that is in existence. He is before all things and in all things consist. He is the Creator of heaven and earth. But there is stress, sometimes in the silence of me, waiting to hear from the voice of the God of Israel. So we've read from the psalm. We've read from the psalm this evening. Now let's let's quicken and let's go up to the New Testament. Let's turn to that interesting passage in two Corinthians chapter 12. Two Corinthians chapter 12. We could go from verse one, to the end of verse 10, or there abouts. We are reading about one of the greatest writers the earth has ever seen. And he was given a messenger to torment me. Have you ever prayed, Lord place? Lord, please, God, please. Holy Spirit, please. Have you ever prayed God help? Please follow? God I need you to show up now and as the screen says behind me Sometimes the silence is more fearful of the silence of Heaven and the silence of God. But I got to remind you, and I've got to remind me tonight that God is not silent. He has spoken over 6000 years ago, and there abouts when he said, Let there be light, and there was and all the way up until now. And for the rest of time God is speaking, God is and has spoken through His Word. We have 66 books, where the God of Israel has spoken. And he has used humanity to get his word into written form. We have His word and you carry His Word, His Word is within you. And the scripture says, out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water. But as that I'm going to keep reverting back to that screen at the moment. God is not silent. But what I fear the most is this. God, I've got to hear from you. We are hearing and we are seeing ministries and charlatans and false ministries, peddling the gospel for cash, telling you that they're always on the phone or sending God an email, and he is responding straight away. And they are having conversations and God is speaking directly to them. Be careful of people in your life, that keep saying I've got a word for you. I've got a word from God from you. I've got a word for you. God has got a word for you. God, if you got a word for me, speak to me direct. You can almost hear God's voice saying, I have given you a word. And the word is over 6000 years old from when God said let there be light. And there was because that's when he spoke. So his word is over 6000 years old. He said, Let there be light. And when Moses wrote Genesis, when, when the writer started to write, God spoke over 6000 years ago, and His word is the same. Yesterday, today and forever more. And God is not silent. The screen says silence. You know, I said it and I will say it again. I would rather have all hell break out upon me. And try everything it can, then to never hear God speak again. I would rather have everything break out against me. Then the fear of not hearing the voice of God. Well, how do we hear the voice of God? When you read God's word when you read it from Genesis to Revelation 66 books when you read it in the quietness, or you might read it aloud, you might hear God's word through through your vocal cords. When you are reading, you are reading God's spoken word. God spoken format to you as a believer, as a person. God has spoken. And God is speaking through the old and the new God is not quiet. But what I've got to learn to do is to walk by faith, walk by faith, God is always speaking. God is always communicating through his word, not through the false prophets, not through the false ministries, not through the name it and claim it not through the prosperity gospel, but God is speaking through His Word, through his voice, and God is speaking to you. God speaks through anything, and God will speak through any means, and God will use anything to get his word to you. But I really believe God is making this very loud and clear tonight, even though we are not hearing his voice, but we are hearing and seeing his voice through when we speak and read His word. Because as we speak, as we read His word, it is God's word to each and every one of us. For God so loved the world, John 316, if he was to read that, For God so loved the world, God is speaking through John 316. God is speaking through Genesis chapter one, verse one, God is speaking through the book of Revelation, God is speaking but we are living in a culture, especially within the West and the westernized business church, and the secular and I will say that secular church that is all about business and money, where we are hearing about false prophets, and when I mean false prophets and teachers, they are always saying that they are having a conversation with God, when God never had that amount of conversation with anyone in the Word of God from Genesis to Revelation. When you look how much God spoke to Jesus, it is very, very quiet most of the way through Jesus's ministry. When you look at that I can go to one place where I can think when Christ was with John the Baptist And he was being baptized and heaven was torn open. And God said, that is my son. You can you can bring a place very quickly you can come to a place you can come to an area in Scripture, where you will find very, very clearly look at the Garden of Gethsemane. Look at that. When Jesus is just speaking to the Father, what do we hear? We don't hear any voice whatsoever. We just had Christ crying out, Father, if it is possible, take this come cup from me, but not my will, thy will be done. Isn't it interesting when you look really at Christ, the man Christ Jesus. And you look at him as the word, the living word. And you look at the times and the conversation, you will even find that God has had a maybe a bigger dialogue, a bigger conversation with Adam, at the very beginning of time, he gives him clear instruction, there is a conversation backwards and forwards. It is really, really interesting to find. When you look about the conversations that are out there within the Scripture. God speaks to Moses, God makes it very clear God speaks to Joshua, but you will find he's not all the way through, but we are living in the westernized society. And I'm referring to the church side of things where you will find false prophets, false teachers, false evangelists, lots of false activity, saying God is saying, God is saying, God is saying, God's word is the same yesterday, today, and very more. I don't need another prophecy of my life. I don't need anyone to say, I've got a word from you anymore, because God has given me all these words from from from Genesis, all the way through the 66 books God has spoken. If I want to know what the prophecies are for my life, I go and I read the text regarding prophecy. If I want to know what God's love letter is, to me, I go and I find that when I want to know about salvation, what God says to me about salvation, I find the scriptures in salvation. God is not silent. God has spoken, God is directing and God is leading. But we are in a culture and a society that is so loud, that is so noisy, that is so instantaneous that you go to the hole in a wall, you can punch numbers in and something returns, we buy this we buy that we are living in a world that transactions and deals are being done all the time. We give it out in this hand, and this hand pulls it in there is always giving and receiving. So in this type of society and culture, when I want to say again, God is not silent, but it actually feels sometimes as if there is a silence but there isn't a silence. God has spoken God is leading. Now. Have you ever been in that position of prayer, and you've prayed and you prayed and prayed and you prayed and prayed and you've lifted your eyes up and culture looks the same. you've prayed and you've prayed and you prayed and prayed? God removed God remove it, remove it, remove it, you look up, and it's still staring you in the eyes. you've prayed and you're afraid and you're prayed and prayed and you fasted and you prayed, you read scripture, you've prayed, you've sung your worship, you've done everything that the word God Word of God says, and you looked up, and the glass is still there. Have you ever prayed and you're praying and the Jericho still looks as strong as it ever did? Well, this is what God says in situations like this. Let's see what the Word of God says over areas of life that he does not remove. There are certain places in our lives, will God will bring that miracle, that very clear and very powerful miracle where we have a physical healing, or something happens, and we have a clear visitation. And there is a clear miracle. But a large percentage of our journey, our walk with Christ is likely a May us road experience, that Christ reveals Himself to us at set times for a set purpose. And we will find that in just a few moments. But you may be praying and praying and praying. It's still with you. It's still there. It's visible is tangible. God has not removed it. So what are you going to do God? Because I feel the silence. I see, Lord that that that Goliath is still standing there. I see Jericho. Lord, the ailments are around me, the culture. The society hasn't changed. But I've been praying and I've been praying and I've been praying, and I've been praying, you will find a lot of people will say, Well, you're not really praying the will of God. Yes, I believe you are praying the will of God. And this is what we find and what the will of God is. Right? We're in two Corinthians chapter 12. I'm going to read from verse one. And it says, I must go on to boast although there is nothing to be gained. I will go on to visions and revelations from the Lord very important revelations and visions from the Lord. I know a man verse two of two Corinthians chapter 12. It says, I know a man in Christ 14 years ago was caught up to the third heavens, whether it was in the body or out the body, I do not know, God knows. And I know that this man, whether the weather in the body or part of the body, I do not know but God knows, was caught up to Paradise and heard inexpressible things, things that no no one is permitted to tell. I will boast about a man like that. But I will not boast about myself, except about my weaknesses, verse six, of two Corinthians chapter 12. Even if I should choose to boast, I would not be a four, because I would be speaking the truth. But I reframe so that no one will think of me, then is warranted by what I do or say. Now verse seven, here we go. But because of the surpassing great revelations, therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me, verse eight, we are so familiar with this text. We are so familiar through locked down through what's been going on through podcasting through the preaching and through to teaching and through the x Oh, geez in of the of the text and the expository preaching, and the opening up of God's word. This is what God said to this great writer that wrote God's Word that pleaded with him, he says Three times I pleaded with the Lord, to take it away from me. But he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. So that is why for Christ's sake, I delight in weakness, in insults in hardships and persecutions, in difficulties for when I am weak, then I am strong. Three times I pleaded with the Lord, three times I laid out on the floor, God helped me remove it in the name of Jesus Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane, Father, if it is possible, take this cut from me, but not my will, thy will be done. You know we are I'm going to come back to the word church, I'm going to come back to that. That the not the ecclesia, not the church that we read about in the book of Acts, but I'm talking about the false church that is very prevalent, relevant, prevalent, and very, in our face, regarding monetary regarding healings all day long. Regarding prophecy all day long. Prophecy is a very dangerous area to get into, because God has already prophesied and spoken through the Old Testament prophets. So we already have what is going to happen, because the Old Testament was fulfilled, and not came to a finish. But where the news started at the cross of Calvary. So when we are talking about prophecy, we have to be very, very careful that we don't I don't we don't get confused as a word of knowledge, and a prophetic word from God. When someone says, I've got a prophetic word for you from God, it has to be so clear. We are living in a culture and a society within the framework on the context of church, especially within the UK, where almost you go into a church and as soon as you walk into a church, someone's bouncing up and down and saying, I've got a word for your God wants to tell you this. Well, actually, God has already told me because His Word has already been given. So this is really important for me as a believer, there will not be any more prophecies that will come my way from any human being that God has already spoken, because it has already been given the prophecies and the prophets have already been spoken and the prophecies have already been given and delivered. They have already been given and delivered about your life. The prophetic word is already over you. The word is within you and the word is around Aren't you and I just want to remind you this evening that God says I will not leave you nor forsake you, I will be with you to the very end of this age. That is a very prophetic, that is a very profound that is a very powerful statement from the God of Israel. The Great I Am says, I will never leave you nor forsake you. I will be with you to the very end of this age. But back in this New Testament that we are in very clearly in the book of two Corinthians chapter 12. We are reading about a Paul, the great New Testament writer, that is really making something really clear Three times I pleaded, I pleaded, I pleaded three times I prayed, I asked three times I went down and I prayed and I prayed and prayed three times, three times three times, went in and I prayed, I went in and I fasted, I went in God, God, God, where are you? God is not silent. God is not silent on your life. God is not silent in your life. The screen says silence. But God is speaking very loud, and God is speaking very clear, he is speaking through the signs of the times, when you look outside your window for the elements of creation, God is speaking very loud and very clear. Through the governments around the world. God is speaking very loud and clear. Through every layer of life. God's Word is a very prophetic word, and it has been spoken, and it has been given. And it is very clear. God says very clearly, I will not leave you nor forsake you. Jesus says, I will not leave you as orphans, I will send the counselor, the Comforter, to be with you. So you have I have we have the Holy Spirit, we have the power of God with us in our lives, you are not alone. God is not silent, like the screen above me. But we asked when I say we in the West, we are in a very unusual position. And this is where the church is, at this moment. The church is making so much noise, about prophetic language, that it is bringing a false interpretation through the gospel of Jesus Christ, that most churches and I would say most at this moment in time, are going down the route of prophetic language, when I don't need to go down that route anymore because God has spoken 1000s of years, he has given clear word I we can be very prophetic through ourselves very clearly, by speaking about the word in Thessaloniki runs about n times, if I was to speak what God's Word says about end times, I will be speaking very prophetic. I will be speaking what God has already spoken on God's for tone, I will be speaking God's word. Isn't it interesting that we are looking and almost so many people across the platform of church even want to be a prophet, an evangelist, a preacher or a teacher? I can assure you, I can assure you there is a price. There is a price. And the price I'm not going to go into at this moment in time. But I just want to let you know. Because that conversation that is another podcast that is another dialogue days, another place over there. But how many times have you asked and you've cried out? God, where are you? It's like the silence, but he's not silent. But because we are living within the westernized church. And we think that we can command God to move because of certain ministries are saying and using and taking the scripture out of context, where the scripture says You have not because you ask not. And they are using a unbiblical language to try and get their own measure and their own gain. It's really important that I understand. God is not silent, even though the screen behind me says silence and I started off, I would rather have all hell break out upon me and actually have the thought of God not speaking anymore. I would rather have every demonic force attack me like never before because what worries me more than any demonic force is God, not speaking. But I don't need to worry about that. Because God has spoken. And God is speaking tonight. But because we live in a westernized culture, where everything is through social media. Everything is through connecting networking. We think that we want the answer now here we've got to have yes or no, God is not silent. God's timings are perfect and His ways are just Ask God, you want to hear God's voice, Ben, you want to hear what God has to say for you read the Word of God. As I read God's word. I hear God's word, his prophetic language for me as a son, or you as a son and a daughter. For us as a human, humanity. God is always speaking. God has not gone quiet. God's word is the same yesterday, today and forever more. Jesus is the living word word is power. You got the rhema word, you got the spoken word. God's word is alive. God's word is sharper than a double edged sword. God's word will not return void. God's word has been put out to flight. When you speak God's word without going down the Pentecostal, preaching drum skin and banging on that tonight. When you speak God's word, you are speaking God's Word over your life over my life. There is something powerful about speaking God's word. I don't need another evangelist, I don't need another preacher. I don't need another prophet, or false prophet, I will say to speak over my life. I've got enough word over my life through the power of God's word. Why? Why would I need to have someone to go up? How many times have we been in front of people, and they might come up to us and go, I got a word from God from you, and God, and then suddenly that word with that word, we let that word sit, and that a day goes by and then suddenly someone brings us another word. And that word is in contradiction to the word that someone has already given us or a few months down the line. We got to be careful. And I know there are people all across the layers of church culture, every area, they are always saying, God, I've got a word, I've got a word. I've got a word, I gotta work. I gotta word. We've got to be careful of people like that in our lives. Because that can affect us like this. God, why are you always speaking to them? And God, I feel like you're like the screen. I can't hear. And you're not speaking to me. So the church and the prophetic language and there's a mass drum skin being beaten across the westernized church. And we've seen this through for the for the dominant Donald Trump situation where the prophets have been speaking and speaking and speaking, and speaking and saying, This is going to happen, and that's going to happen. And when it doesn't happen, what do they come up with the junk that they come up with and say, the devil stole it. The devil can't steal anything from God. If the word hasn't come true, it's not from God. It's that simple. God's word will not return void. If God has given you a word, God's word will come into fruition. And where do we get all this word from God? God's word 66 books, packed with prophecy, packed with poetic language, pack with criterias packed with obedience, packed with beautiful lessons. God's word is everything. I don't need to have another word. And I don't get don't get me wrong. I don't need another prayer prayed over me, because God has already spoken. God is already in. I'm not saying that. There's no power in prayer. Don't take that the wrong way. But you understand what I am saying. I don't need another prophet, to roll in the church to come all the way down on their roller skates or skateboard and say, I've just come in from Hollywood from the Las Vegas time. And I've got a word from you. And God is saying, I know what God is saying. God is speaking through His Word. There is power in silence. What do you mean silence. He just said God is always speaking he is always speaking through his word. But then we go into the scripture that is so powerful. Be still and know that I'm God. Now, that scripture, Be still and know that I'm god, it's not telling us that God is quiet. It's saying, Be still Ben. And know that I'm God over your life. Be still brother and sister on the other side of the lens, and know that I am God over your life. Be still in the carnage of this time in which you live. Be still and know that I am God. God is always speaking, God's word is loud and God's word is powerful, and His Word will not return void. Out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water. His word is like honey On my lips, the Bible says. So when we look at this New Testament writer, it's not that God did not. And when I say answered his prayer, that God was not listening. God always gives us more than we can ask or imagine. But because we are living in a very physical and a very what should we put materialistic world, we can have anything. You can buy anything to a degree, you can rent, anything, you can have anything, you can capture anything you want, now, right in front of you, but God's ways, are not our ways. God's thoughts are higher than our thoughts. So it's not so much God is quiet. This is it. The just shall live by faith. The Valley of Baqara that the Bible talks about, is a very treacherous journey, a pilgrimage. We are on a very unusual journey within the UK, we got a government that is so used to lie in it forgets what it is lying about. We are in a culture where anything goes and anything can be said. And we have lost I will say I will say what I say culturally, not not your brothers and sisters, because God is with you. The respect there is no respect anything can be said. Anything, it doesn't matter how depraved it is. I honestly believe when the scripture says this very clearly. In the last days, it will be as in the days of Noah, we are seeing the days of Noah, you've just got to look across the skyline and look into London. And you will see Sodom and Gomorrah lit up like a Christmas tree. As the Old Testament tech says in the book of Judges, at the end of judges, there is no king in Israel, each man is doing what he sees right in his own eyes. God, I don't want to do what my eyes see, Lord, I want to keep my eyes on Jesus. Because if my eyes do what I see, I will be doing something that's very unbiblical, that is not according to your word. Because what your eyes capture can affect your physical stretch. We had been given social media, we have been given advertising, we have been given so much through what we see, and our eyes are attracted to so much in front of us, our hearing our senses, our sensual perception, our makeup, you know, I've got to keep my eyes on Jesus. I've got to keep my eyes on the author, and the perfecter of our faith again, that Scripture is coming up again, Hebrews chapter 12, verse to keep your eyes on Jesus, the author, and the perfecter of your faith. So if Jesus is the author, if Jesus is the image, and as it says in the book of Colossians, Colossians, chapter one, Christ is the image of the invisible God, and through Christ, all things consist. So Christ is the creator, along with God. So when I look at the deity, when I look at the deity and the different positions and the different areas of the Deity, the Godhead, I see something very clear, I see the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. And when I look at the Trinity, when I look at the Father, the Son, Holy Ghost, I go all the way back to the very beginning of time, as humanity understands time, because God is outside of time, God created time, the word time only exists because he created time, not because of science, not because of the Romans, not because of any leadership, not because suddenly man worked out how to use the sun and the moon and to dictate to and from numeral numerology, and how to work and to get time, God created time he is space, time, and matter. There are three major elements you find in science that we need for the physical to come into existence, but God spoke, so we have space at the very beginning of time. We have time at the very beginning of time, and we have matter. So we have the three major elements at the very beginning of time. So God is not quiet. God is always moving. God is always speaking God is not silent. But what we find if you are maybe a bit like me that have come through the Pentecostal movement, and it is so loud, it is so brash, it is so annoying at some times. And when we are crying and screaming and shouting, and almost commanding God to do what we want, and nothing happens It puts fear in your bones. Because then suddenly you go God, where are you? God, what are you doing? I have just said, Do this God, and you haven't. The church thinks and the church can't. And when I say the church, I'm gonna use the word force Church and the business model church, almost spreadsheet in pie chart in anticipating how God is going to move next. Well, no one can anticipate no one knows God's next move. The only way that I will come close to that is when I study God's Word, and I read God's word and I rest in God's word. And Jesus says, Listen, this is what it will be. In the end times there will be signals, there'll be signs in of the Common of the one like the Son of Man. So we have signals at this moment. There are signs in the heavens above, look at the last few days. Look at the unusual the unprecedented heat that we had, I think yesterday what we see what was happening along that motorway, suddenly we see very clearly the, the heat of the day just suddenly brought this fire. I think that what we are looking at is very unusual times the signs in nature, the signs in the sky, the signs in the money markets, the signs within the church, within the false church within the false prophets, within the written word of God, there are signs scattered everywhere, across this earth. God is not silent. God is speaking, it is loud, it is clear what to expect. I do not need another prophet to rent out Wembley Stadium to tell me what is going to happen next. Because I have it in the Word of God. It tells me through Thessalonians, it shows me through Revelation, it tells me in the old what to expect in such a time as this, God's word is clear, and loud and God is not silent. But we have a church within the West, within the westernized culture that is commanding and actually trying to tell God, when to move, when to Hill, when to save, let it rain money. Gold, dust is falling false teeth, gold teeth are appearing. This is happening that's happening. Gold is coming out of the air conditioning units in certain layers of church. We are hearing such rubbish. We have people from in themselves on graves grave soaking, we have false prophets all over the place. We have the manipulation, of financial control. We have absolutely everything breaking out. But God is not silent. God's word is loud. God's word is clear. God's word is the authority. God's word is over every satanic attack. God's word is over satanic realms. God created the heavens and the earth. But most of my life, I will have this answer from God. Three times I pleaded with the Lord, take this away from me, he said, But God said, My grace is sufficient for you. If the church and I will say the church. If we asked me, you whoever would be bold enough to say, if I really knew the power and the authority, just in God's grace alone, I would be so far forward in my walk with Him. If I really understood the power of grace, of mercy, of unconditional love. I would clearly understand what this New Testament writer is writing. My grace is sufficient for you. For my power is made perfect in weakness. Thank you, Jesus. The writer goes on and he writes, For when I am weak, then I am strong, the Scripture is loud, the Scripture is clear. Now, there may be many at this moment on the Mayas road experience experience in this. So let's, let's turn let's go to the book of Luke. We have a bit of time let's go to the book of Luke on the Mayas road. Luke chapter 24. If you want to turn to Luke chapter 24. It is important that I that we that you that me that we focus on God's Word. We need brothers and sisters that will speak God's Word over us when he brothers and sisters that will encourage us, when we're in the valley of the shadow of death. We need brothers and sisters that will encourage us on the mass road. And what I find absolutely heartwarming and very, very important for the time in which we live, the two that are on this a mass Road, have something an unusual look over their face. Let's pick this up verse 13, of Luke chapter 24. Now, the same day two of them are going to a village corner Mayas, about seven miles from Jerusalem. They were talking with each other about everything that happened. And as they were talking and discussing these things, with each other, Jesus Himself came, and he walked along with them. But they was kept from recognizing him. He asked them, What are you discussing together as you walk along? They stood still, their faces downcast, one of them named klappas, answered, answered him. Are you the only one visiting Jerusalem? Who does not know anything that has been happening? That has happened over these few days? What things he asked about Jesus of Nazareth, they replied, He was a prophet powerful in word and deed. Before God, and before the people, the chief priests and the rulers handed him over, to be sentenced to death, and they crucified him. But we had hope, we had hope that he was the one who was going to redeem Israel. And what is more, it is the third day since all of this took place. Now, if he was just to put your eyes if he was just to put your eyes on verse 17, it says they stood still. And their faces were downcast. Their, their faces were down cost. They was perplexed. They was not to side, Jesus is walking with me, and Jesus is walking with you. But Christ reveals Himself and His Word is revealed, at set points on the Mayas road, we may feel that we are on the amigas Road, most of our life, when we actually feel that we are walking with our brothers and sisters, and we are discussing the criterias and the stuff that is around us at this particular point. And we feel that Jesus is absent. Jesus is not walking with us. But the among us road is a very important scripture for me. And for you, I believe, to understand that Christ where he says, I will not leave you nor forsake you. He is walking with us. But isn't it interesting this happened, that Christ stopped himself from being revealed to the two that was walking on the mass road until a particular point in their life. It's not that Christ removed himself from them. Christ was walking with them in their trouble and their strain, and in their conversation, and he was engaging, but their eyes were kept from recognizing him. So often, we have conversations, we walk with Christ, we know that he is with us, because because he lives I can face tomorrow. But there becomes markers on the journey of our life, where Christ will reveal Himself to us through His Word, through revelation or knowledge that we read in the other scripture, that God reveals Himself to us at the appropriate time. When this earth Sue is needing that requirement from the God of Israel. Not when I go, God. Three times I pleaded with the Lord. But then God answered him, and God is answering Ume, Three times I pleaded with the Lord. But he said, My grace is sufficient for you. So God's grace is sufficient for me and for you. So what I need to do is to go away in the quietness and the stillness, and understand the power of God's grace, because God's grace changes everything. God's grace enables me as a human being as a believer, to find strength and to find hope, in the in the pain of living as as as a human being. But the westernized church will beat the drum, and very clearly very loud. Talk about finances, talk about prophetic art, will shout and holler and charm and scream. When actually God speaks in the silence. God speaks in a stillness. You've only got to look at that prophet. You've only got to look at that. Prophet very clearly in the Old Testament, Elijah, he see the power of his prayer being answered. He see fire for he see the sacrifice being taken. He see the otter, disintegrate, he see the rocks turn to dust. He see the water been lit up, the Scripture says, Then he went up to the top of Mount Carmel. And he prayed and he prayed and he prayed, and he see the cloud come in. But he was with the servant and the servant said, What are you talking about? It's hot. It's warm. Nothing is happening. But he said, Go back, go back, go back, watch, watch. Then suddenly, out of nowhere, rain fell. So there we have a prophet that was familiar in being persistent in prayer. He prayed and it happened. Now, let's accelerate this story a little bit further he runs. Now. I think there are many of us that have prayed. The miracle has fallen from heaven, and we have been soaking wet in our miracle.
