May God bless you and strengthen you. May God just guide you today may you feel the presence of the Holy Spirit in your life like you've never done before. Thank you so much for joining us today. As we gather around the mics for coffee and prayer for this 45 minutes or there abouts. We thank God for your lives wherever you are this morning. God is with us. Good morning. Good morning. Thank you so much. You can find us on iHeartRadio you can find some Buzzsprout and Spotify and so many other social networks. But thank you this morning for joining us for coffee and prayer as we just gathered around the Scripture. Because we just lean into Jesus, whatever your situation is today, I just just pray that you will lean into Christ. And you will trust him and just continue to walk with him. No matter how you feel this morning. Excuse me feeling a little bit lost. A bit wayward. We're going to turn to Psalm 40. Do you know what I don't know how I feel this morning. Not sure. I don't know what is going on. Let's get straight to the word Psalm 40. Psalm 40 verse one, it's a scripture that we've turned to a lot over the last number of months because I really believe the Lord is leading us into Scripture like never before that we're feeling the guidance of the Holy Spirit. And I think this is very relevant for so many of us where it says in Psalm 40 verse one, I waited patiently for the Lord. Patience is a very difficult area of understanding, isn't it? But I believe wherever you are today just hold your place to be still. It says in Psalm 40 Verse one I waited patiently for the Lord. He turned to me he heard my cry, He lifted me up out of the slummy pit out of the mountain out of the mire. He set my feet upon the rock and gave me a firm place to stand. God has given us a firm place to stand this morning we are building on the rock and I pray that wherever you are today, that you will find peace and you will find rest that God will give you a firm place and he will set your feet upon the rock if you were just to look at verse two, you know, you might be tired this morning you might be a little bit weary, you might have a look be even be a little bit lost in your mind and your body. You know, but God has each and every one of us. You know the Scripture says in the book of Deuteronomy, love the Lord thy God with all your heart or your mind, roll your soul and with all your strength, but Lord, sometimes I'm finding it difficult Lord. So I think this is very relevant. You know, for every one of us. I waited patiently for the Lord, he turned to me and he heard my cry. He lifted me up out of the slimy pit he an out of the mud in the mire, he set my feet upon the rock. I think this is really comforting for me this morning, to understand that he is the one that sets my feet upon the rock that I actually cannot do that, that he's got to set my feet that he knows my path. He knows every area of life. And in verse four, it says, Bless it is the one who trust in the Lord. So I'm gonna learn to trust him more, I'm gonna learn to walk with Him more. You know, we are living in very powerful, very interesting times in which we see the weather system. You know, everything happening around us for the last few days, the weather system and you've got the government system, you've got the political system. You've got the religious system, everything that the Bible has prophesied what would happen in the end that we are we are seeing right before our very eyes and I pray that wherever you are across the earth to this morning, this hour, wherever you are, whatever your timezone is I just pray that you will pick up Psalm 40. And you will rest from verse one through to the end of verse four. I waited patiently for the Lord. He turned to me he heard my cry, He lifted me up out of the slummy pit out of the mud and the my. He sat my feet upon the rock and he gave me a firm place to stand. Really interesting. In the back end of verse two it says he set my feet upon a rock, and gave me a firm place to stand. It is Christ. It is the king of glory, He will give you a firm place to stand, he will give you a place to rest. If you're tired, if you're weary, you know, whatever your your press on life is this morning, I just pray that God will guide you and strengthen you. And however you feel this morning, maybe you're feeling weary and tired and just exhausted from life and impressed on every side, if you're feeling pressed on every side, just just lean into Jesus, He will give you a place to stand. And sometimes it is so difficult as believers and whether we're bouncing in and out of the faith or looking at the socials, you know, wherever and whoever we are. I really believe that there is a there is a spiritual awakening. And I'm very careful to use that terminology, especially in this day and age because it is used for so many other faiths, we got to be very careful how we use and obviously it's got to be through what the Bible says but he gave us a firm place to stand he will give us that rock he is the rock it says that he set my feet upon the rock. So in fairness, and understanding to the Scripture, he is going to set my feet upon him. The scripture says that he is the rock, he is the king he is worthy of all plays. Praise He is the great I Am he is our salvation, He is our God, He is our Redeemer, he is our king, and he is your God and whatever your situation is and wherever you are this morning, I pray that you will find rest for your mind, your body, your heart, and your physical being you know sometimes what is the biggest battle that we have is, is fighting our thoughts fight in our mind thought fighting our understanding, fighting our thinking, fighting not so much the way of the world you know, but just our thoughts and our understanding and and if you are a believer, if you've drifted, drifted disarray drifted into this. I'm tired this morning. You know, I've been speaking for days and hours and it just feels like sometimes you're on this monotony of this merry go round of life and, and there's this just humdrum of stuff just going on. Same thing day after day after day feels like a merry go round some days. But this morning, I pray that we will all wait patiently that we'll all just wait patiently for the Lord. He's turning his hair and he's he's redeeming, he is delivering, he is rescuing, he is saving. He is your healer. He is your God. He is your King. And he is the winemaker and everything. Everything is in his hands. Everything is in his rest, you know, he lifted me up out of the slimy pit out of the mud in the mire. He sat my feet on a rock, he's gonna give me a firm place to stand. So wherever you are today, do you feel that you need that firm place to stand that you feel that you need a place to put your feet do you feel that you are just being washed around all over the place? You know, just like the tide is just coming in and going out and you just feel that you need that place? You know, you feel like a bit of driftwood is blowing up backwards and forwards by the tide of life and you're floating almost in some days you don't even know the purpose of living. And even if you are a believer, whether you're a believer or non believer dropping into this, you know, humanity at this moment is stretched beyond human understanding. Governments are buckling. You know the weather system we are seeing more things are happening around us at this moment. But I just pray that whoever and wherever you are this morning, that you just flick into Psalm 40 verse one, I waited patiently for the Lord and he turned to me and he heard my cry. What is your heart's crying this morning? What is the cry of your heart? Lord, help me. Lord, guide me Lord saved me, Lord, strength for me. Lord, help me show reveal Yourself to me. What is the cry of your heart this morning? There are many cries this morning. I believe there are many voices. I'm not referring to it in my head. There are many voices that are coming out of my heart this morning. Many, many sounds I should say many rhythm many, many vocal noises coming from my heart this morning. You know Lord help me guide me strength for me. Give me faith to keep moving Lord helped me to keep walking helped me to keep standing helped me Lord to keep breathing Lord, sometimes life can get so weary and so monotonous doesn't matter what we are doing. Doesn't matter where we are, what we are preachers or teachers, in congregations and our congregations, business leaders, whatever and wherever we are. Sometimes just the general monotony of the humdrum of everyday can be beat us like a hammer. And we can go God, what am I doing? Yeah. But I think patience is needed. You know, breakthrough is happening. There is breakthrough happening in your life. God is speaking God is guiding you. God is God is with you. He says I'll never leave you nor forsake you. Excuse me. But what's interesting now I keep going back to verse one. I keep running my eyes I of the scripture. But verse one is really beaten loud this morning. I waited patiently for the Lord, I think the UK, I think humanity can almost be running out of patience. I think we can be getting to that almost that that boiling point, literally, not with the sound, but with just the pressure of living, whether we're married or married, whether we're parents, not parents, whether we get regret whatever we are, and whoever we are, and wherever we live us, I think, especially within the UK, I think there's, there's an undercurrent that an undercurrent of, of a stirring of war in the world is going on in this nation. Lord, will You strengthen us, Lord, I can't seem to get a grip on life at this moment. Lord, I can't seem to get a handle on what is happening. And I think we've been living in a culture and a world where everything is you can have it now. And I think what we're finding is that there's a penalty for the way governments and certain leaders have pressed us. I think we're going we're paying the price for so much for, for coming away from God's word, because that's what I see across this nation that God's word has been stripped out. But I believe God is breathing over you this morning. God has you as a believer, whether you are in faith out of faith, whether you're in the socials off the socials, whether you're dipping in right now, whatever may be going on in your heart, your head, I really believe God is calling in God is drawing. God is moving God he's breathing on us. God has not left us nor forsaken us. But through different political agendas through different plans that man has had it as a storm has been arising for a long time. And I believe God is shaking this nation. Do you feel a bit unsteady on your feet this morning? The Fit feel a little bit unworthy this morning. Do you feel a bit wayward this morning? Do you feel a bit lost this morning? Just lean into Jesus. I waited patiently for the Lord. Patience. Patience. There you go. Brothers, sisters, we're in Psalm, Psalm 40, verse one. May God bless you this morning, as we hand over to the holy ones, they will take us right behind the curtain. I'll get us in trouble. But these holy free will get us really blessed.
Donny Stockburn:Yeah, sometimes prayer is so important. It's not to be so much pleasing as effective. Sometimes we have slow twitch, play on subjects that are not, you know, the favorite topic. list I under one today, God's given me I believe is one of apathy in a church. And that comes that word apathy is a lack of interest or concern, nothing to do with tiredness, nothing to do with whether it's just the way we go. Sometimes Jesus found it in the church when he visited him in Revelations, I just want to read you a bit of scripture out of one of the churches that he visited. And he said this was in Revelations three, verse 15, and 16. It says, I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of my mouth. Apathy crept into the church, brought in all sorts of troubles and issues. We face that in our lives with Christians. And I just want to tell you a quick story really lifted my spirit in his time. I feel a little bit of apathy in my own life at the moment, and it's a famous lady, preacher, Lady in 70s, and 80s, named Jean Darnell. Amazing, and she's really, really good girl. And she, she said this when she was in Bible college, she had a friend, we have a dear friend who was with all the way. And about halfway through the course, which was yours. A friend said to a gene, I've had enough. I'm packing it in, I'm gonna go and get a job. And they separated and years and years later, Gene was doing a big meeting, really big meeting, and she was in the congregation. And at the end of it, she came up to Jane and said, Jane, that was wonderful, absolutely wonderful. She said I'd give everything to be where you are. And Jane looked at it. I said, that's exactly what it cost me. A lot. There is a price following you is a common, yes. But Lord, the price at the end of it outweighs that. Is he to the kingdom of God, or there's no pain and sorrows and troubles in this world. So far the garden when it comes to this, when it comes to the apathy, but what should we do about it? We'll get down on our faces and we pray hard. Thank you. We ask God life, like a ship that's caught in the doldrums. It can be where there was no wind, no, nothing to push it, nothing to move it. And I would just sit there and and sweat it out. Lord, we can be like that. But you you're you said your spirit is like the wind. You said, you don't know where it's coming from or where it's going to. That's like their Lord. So we pray now, Lord, that lovely song or member, be the center of our lives. Be the fire in our hearts. And yeah and Holy Spirit fire so follow Can we just pray now in Jesus name, everyone who recognizes in their life, their apathy, that little bit of war's over, lay back, take it easy, whatever it is, finally, God the apathy, we own this prayer, Father God that you will remove it by your Spirit, Father God, you will remove that that spirit of apathy from any hearts, listening now recognize it in our lives found a God and we pray that you will not only remove it, Lord, but you will come to there'll be a massive wind blow blow into us far gone revive us filled the cell. So we move on out of the area with no wind in a certain part of the ocean, that was what was no wind Lord, just move out. Move that, that apathy out of our lives alone with your spirit. Phyllis again, Lord, are putting a fire in there and we ask that a fire of our spirit appear our hearts Lord. And Lord, we just call out to you, Lord moves on, moves out of the area moves out of that district, about half of the Father, come and examine us and find that we have a light gene like Jean Darnell Fowler, God, willing to walk with you Lord could because you've got us on a different journey from this world, Lord, we're not walking in the world. We're walking in the kingdom. Father God, what applies in the kingdom is not applied to the world alone in his tough times ahead for as Christians, so far, which is pray in Jesus name. Now, Lord, as we walk this life with you the Great Shepherd, as Ben was saying, with you with you with the Great Shepherd follicle, we pray that your spirit will come and blow on us. Phyllis again fills a fresh, blow the cobwebs in this world out of us, Lord, fill us with your spirit. Fill us with your fire fighter God set us a sail again. sail out of that place and fill us. That's our prayer today. In Jesus name. Amen. Amen.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Thank you, Jesus. Thank
Glenn Walsh:you man was in Psalm 3040. Earlier so and verse three, he put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to God, many will see and fear and put their trust in the Lord. And the fear of the Lord is the beginning of all wisdom. Yeah. And I was over in Psalm 42. Before read it, just last week, I was having a coffee with a friend and I was admiring these flowers. They were like flame rates, they really took my attention. And I'm staring at them thinking Well, that's wonderful. And then my friend said, Look at the mess on the floor. And when you looked under this bush of red lily flowers, yeah, with the dead flowers had fallen on the floor. And oh, my friend was interested in his center so much sweep all that up. The thought is focus isn't always looking up at the flowers and thinking, wow, they were looking down at the floor thinking. Yeah, Psalm 42 Verse five, and why are you cast down on myself? And boy, are you in turmoil within me? You know, I cried out to the Lord and I look to the hills and where does my help come from? It comes from the Lord.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yeah, likely to help us look up, Lord,
Glenn Walsh:we've got a new faith, a new song. And it's not about oh, it's all dependent on me. It's all dependent on my effort. We've got a gold who's for us, again, going through Psalm 42. My soul is cast down within me. And this is written by people of God. Therefore I remember you. I remember you. Deep calls to deep the roar of your waterfalls. Yes, all your breakers and your waves have gone over me. Thank you joy day the Lord commands His steadfast love. That night he song is within me a prayer to the God of my life. He's the God of our lives. But the psalmist goes on to say, I say to God, my rock. Why have you forgotten me? Why do they going morning because the oppression of the enemy is with a deadly wound in my bones. And they say where is your God? Why are you cast down on my soul? And why are you in turmoil within me? Hoping God provides shall again, praise him? My salvation and my God. He's not forgotten you. He's not forgotten. You wait on the Lord. You are in his hands. There's nothing that can separate us from the love of God that's in Christ Jesus, our Lord. Yeah, but there are times of test. That's Biblical. When God Woo's us when he's got some work to do with us. Where does he take us, biblically, takes us to the wilderness. Please, Lord, what's in the wilderness? Not a lot. There's a lot of sand. It's devastating places where we come to the odds of ourselves hot, and then we can be downcast. But Lift up your eyes. What's the worst that can happen to us? We could lose their lives. And then what happens? Come, Lord, then what happens? We enter glory. Yeah. And we put someone waiting for us. Just the other side of this veil is Sonic. I had a picture the other day when I was young, and my parents would be in the sea called me to go in and I think you got to be joking. And they'd say, no coming in. And that's dangerous. There's waves. I had a bit of fear with the ocean when I was a kid. I mean, come in. When I eventually braved it, they were there waiting and I went in, was joy, what fun, it was a new world.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Thank you, Jay. He's
Glenn Walsh:gone. The other side. He's there waiting. He's prepared a place for us. He said, We don't want to go before you. In my Father's house. There are many mentions and I go there before you to prepare a place for you. Not only that, our Lord also said and I am with you, thank you Jesus to the very end of the age in the world and we call on you to dialogue in the place of BLESS thank you Holy Spirit in the times of hardship in the times of goodness, but just like the weather in the UK is so varied yeah hot one day call the next rain in the next then snow then some we don't know what's going on. Thank you Holy Spirit father we bless our lives are the same season after season after season. The only thing that is steadfast is the state fast love of the Lord. That's never ending. Thank you dude, why are you downcast? I my soul Lift up your eyes, we look at you to lift up your eyes. He's gone before us. Thank you. He's with us. We forgot to pray for an outpouring of Your Holy Spirit in our life. Yes, Lord, not by my Come on, Lord, not by power, not by human endeavor. Not by fleshly interventions, but by your spirit for your namesake. Thank you, Jesus. evolve your people resurrect us, Lord, we have a sleeping, slumbering, apathetic giant. Come Holy Spirit. Father, you are rich in mercy. Never when you leave us, Never will you forsake us. Daily you cry out to us even in the wilderness. Your voice is there, saying do not harden your hearts. Father, I pray for a softening of the hearts of your people towards you. That we would again know when it is the fear of the Lord, the beginning of wisdom, Lord, you haven't changed. You are unchanging, your holy, perfect in every way. Amen. And you've bought us to your level and common has been made holy, through the precious blood of Jesus Christ, amen. What an identity we have. And where the Lord we're waiting for the bailiffs to knock on the door. Wherever we're waiting for money to arrive through the door, wherever our waiting is. We are seated with you in the heavenly realms. Thank you, Lord, that you are there rock. Yeah, you are a rock you strengthen
Reverend Ben Cooper:us and you bless us, Lord, Amen. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you for your presence. Thank you, Lord, for Your goodness. Thank you, Lord, for Your Mercy, Lord.
Andy Hammond:Psalm 46 Is God is our refuge and strength and ever present help in trouble? We will not fear though the earth give way. And the mountains fall into the heart of the sea. So its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their searching. There is a river with whose streams make glad the city of God the Holy Place where the most high dwells. God is within her. She will not fail. God will help her break of day. Nations are in uproar. That's true, isn't it? Yeah, yeah. Kingdoms for all. Yes. He lifts his voice the earth melts. The Lord Almighty is with us. The God of Jacob is our fortress. Come and see the works of the Lord. If desolations has brought on the earth, He makes war cease to the ends of the earth he breaks a bow and shatters the spear. He burns the shields with fire. Be still and know that I am God. I will be exhorted among the nation's Thank you Jr will be exalted in the earth. Draw us Lord, the Lord Almighty is with us, bring us in the God of Jacob is our fortress. Father, we just thank You that You are our fortress that we can turn to you. Even though all around us things seem to be going right. nations against nation, we see that now. We are set to you raise up your people. awake. Awake us so so that a sleeping giant can be a wake the church father and we pray that your church will rise up.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yes, Lord, lift us
Andy Hammond:amongst in the UK that the Church will rise up that we will be powerful witnesses that will will we will be strong in our own stand for you. Let us not turn away. When we see. Sickness, we see poverty, we see hardship. We see hunger. Help us turn to You. Help us to be your instruments in all this. Let us be your hands we pray and ministering to all those who need who need their God. So come, Holy Spirit, we pray Come Holy Spirit in your power. Thank you, Father God for who you are. I turned to that. Psalm because because Well, Glenn was reading the previous ones. But my mind prior to that was on Nehemiah, in building up the wall of of the city, Jerusalem. And as I was reading chapter three of Nehemiah. It just reminded me that the whole people of Israel were involved. Everyone, every tribe, and I thought, what were the priests doing it as well? Yeah, they were there, building the wall. They were there. Let's go all the different gates that were built in chapter three of the mount Nehemiah. And it says that the priests were there, rebuilding the fish gate was rebuilt by the sons of Hassan on the dress and our gate was repaired by jaw, jaw, jaw artist, son of Persia and so on, goes all the way through. And the repairs next to him were made by the priests from the surrounding region. That's verse 22. So everyone was involved. And I think that's one of the problems that we have with a church today that we got too many passengers. Too many passengers just really turning up on a Sunday. If they get there on Sunday now, if they're not on the Zoom, just sitting and receiving I think that's got a big turned around radically, that we need to do this. And I say that because I just walk into church sometimes and just wonder what's going on. What is going on? It's not all down to the Minister. It's not down to the leadership teams. It's a it's an all body ministry.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Thank you Holy Spirit.
Andy Hammond:So we pray, Father God, that you will raise up your people that you will there will be fresh inspiration. I have to confess also further God that we're all tired as well. Thought we are, we are tired and we need fresh invigoration and refreshment. We need. We can't do it without your power. And that's that's what we need for them
Reverend Ben Cooper:the liner Dude,
Andy Hammond:you're your power. And I just love that phrase that just been mentioned the Lion of Judah, we need a roar. That amazing illustration of the lion. His roar can be heard from miles around in in his own place. And if you go to Africa, you hear that roar. And that's a roar that all the animals, other animals who walk here as well and knows that he's king. But Father God, we know that Jesus is King. He is king. And we want to hear the roar of the Lion of Judah. We want to hear the Lion of Judah in this country of ours, which at the moment is in turmoil. We don't we don't have a government that's governing. We don't have the prime minister who's leading the country. Father God, we want you to raise up leaders we pray for our government, which is in name only at the moment. We pray for the right leader to come back to be Prime Minister Eve oversleep. We want to someone who believes in you Father God, can you anoint and appoint someone? Yes, father believes in you to
Reverend Ben Cooper:move for this nation.
Andy Hammond:Thank you for as I've said before, raise up your church, so that they will be a voice to be heard. raise up leaders who follow you. Yeah, so yeah, my father, I just say amen to that. So be it. As it says, So be it. You. We say it Father God, and we pray that you will pronounce it over our nation.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yes, Father, we need your Lord, this nation we are in need, Lord, we are in need. I think the psalmist has got it pretty well summed up in verse, Psalm 40, verse 11, and 12 do not withhold your mercy from the Lord. May Your love and Your faithfulness always protect me for troubles without number CERAM me, my sins have overtaken me I cannot see. They are more than the hairs on my head. And my heart fouls within me. Be pleased to save me Lord. Come quickly, Lord, help me. I think that's the cry of men in this morning. Come quickly, Lord, come quickly, Lord, Father, we need the line of Judah. We need the glory. We need your presence, your love your mercy. Father, we thank you for the time in which we are living. But Lord, I pray for everyone that needs strength this morning, father, you will strengthen our bones you'll strengthen our bodies, you will strengthen our thinking our understanding, Lord, you make it clear. Love the Lord thy God with all our heart more than mine with all thy soul and with all thy strength for them for areas of humanity. Father, I pray that you will draw us in Lord have mercy on me today, Lord, Lord, let your love and your faithfulness always protect us. Lord, let your faithfulness and your love be on end in this nation. Lord as the psalmist writes in Psalm 40, verse 12, for troubles without numbers surround me, Lord, there are more troubles and I can count in the name of Jesus but Lord, I keep my eyes on Jesus. Lord, as Andy was praying for the government as we've been praying this morning, Father, we keep our eyes on Jesus. Yes, Lord, the Psalmist is right. There are many travels around us, my sins overtake me, and I cannot see. For they are more than the hairs on my head. Lord, my thinking stinks. Some days My attitude is bad some days but Lord, I love you, Jesus. Come Holy Spirit. And as the psalmist says in verse 13, verse, chapter 14, be pleased to save me Lord, Father, brave over this nation, Father brave over every house. Lord, we need the Lion of Judah Lord sometimes It feels like Lord we were like Daniel or me thrown in the lion's den, Lord, but we thank You that You've sent angels heavenly hosts to, to close the mouth of the lions But Lord, I thank You, Lord, as we look around as Father we see the power of you through creation. Lord, we don't look we won't focus on the trouble we won't focus on the depths Lord of the hunger Lord of the crier that is for you today, Lord. So Lord, we think we focus we call, we speak to you today, Lord, and we say, Come Holy Spirit, Lord, as we come to the table, fathers we break bread together, Lord, the Psalmist writes very clearly have mercy on me, O Lord, do not withdraw your mercy from Us, Lord, we cannot be do not withhold your mercy from me, Lord, my Your love and Your faithfulness always protect me, Lord, always protect us. Thank you that you always Lord, never leave us nor forsake as you're with us to the very end of this age. Lord, I pray that you will strengthen us in our bones in our understanding, Lord, You tell us to love thy Lord thy God with all thy heart, Father, we are living in a nation where the government don't know who they are. We are living in a nation where everything is just pressed so hard against us so far that we are sure that you will strengthen our body strengthen our bones, quick and our spirits Lord, keep our eyes on Jesus this morning, as we come to the table, Lord if our sins are overtaken us, Lord, we thank you that they're overtaken us and they're gonna go straight to the cross of Calvary Spirit of the Living God. We need your father we need to be washed in the blood of Jesus Father, we stand upon the rock because you have put our feet upon the rock. You are the rock of our salvation. You are the Rock of Ages, You are the King of glory. And this morning, Lord as we break bread together as brothers and sisters, in Christ Jesus, Lord, lead us in paths of righteousness follow our namesake. We believe in healings. We believe in the gifts we believe in the power of the Word of God we believe. We believe in your word that your word is yes and amen. We believe father, from Genesis to Revelation, Lord, give us the strength to keep standing. Give us the strength floor where our knees are buckling, Lord, where our backs are bending down lower our arms are tired Lord, where our voices are croaky. lobera heads are dropping Lord because our necks are tired father strength and our bodies today. Lord, we pray for anyone that is tired on the other side of the mics today. Anyone that is just weary anyone that just feels that they've been trampled on Lord that Scripture come to my thinking at this moment law in Matthew chapter seven. Do not give to dogs what is sacred. Do not cast your pearls to pigs, for they may trample them down and trample over you to Father I pray, Lord, that we will not be trampled on any more Lord, Father God that we will rise up in the name of Jesus that we will Lord rise on wings as of eagles, Lord that we will soar through the cloudline Lord right the way through Lord that we will get above the storm line in the name of Jesus. Father we saw on wings as of eagles father we are above and not beneath. We are dead guard the head and not the towel. We are children of the living God. And Lord if my thinking is weary this morning if my attitude is bad, lift me strength for me. Guide me Lord. Thank You that Your love and Your mercy has never been withheld from any one of us. Come Holy Spirit. Stir our hearts stir at thinking stir our minds. Stir our innermost being stirrers, Lord, draw us closer to you. Father, forgive me for I've sinned and fallen short of your glory, but by your mercy and your power and your love and your saving grace, by your anointing by your goodness Father, we are blessed and highly favored. We are sons and daughters of the living God. Father, let your Fire Lord yesterday we see Lord heathland just catching the light because of the hate Father Lord, I pray that the Church will catch a light like that in the UK. Lord, I pray Father that the church will be set ablaze because of the heat and the power of the anointing. Father we need we need your fire we need your glory. We need your strength Lord fire yes Lord we may be tired, we may just be stripped back but Father in the name of Jesus I pray that we will fill the fire of Heaven Lord descended on this earth. Lord when we see that he flan yesterday just just catching a light because of the heat Father I pray that the church will be set on fire because of the holiness of God because of the holiness of the glory. Lord set us on fire. Lord, let us burn low Let us burn for Christ. Lord, let your glory radiate through us. Let the holiness of God come upon us today. Father, you are good and you are powerful and you are holy, be holy. So Lord, I pray today, Lord, that we will be like that heathland Lord that just completely just caught on fire. Lord, so hot Lord, the service is could not contain the fire. I thank you Lord, that the fire of God, Lord, Come Holy Spirit, we need the fire. We need to fire a God. We need the fire of the Holy Spirit we need your anointing. Lord, I know you've not left us nor forsaken us. But Lord, I asked you, Lord, that you will set us on fire again, Lord, breathe, Lord, breathe on these ashes. Lord, breathe on this kindling. Brave on us, Lord, brave father on us. Lord set this church on fire, calm, Holy Spirit. As we come to the table, brothers and sisters, as we come to this, this time of just breaking bread together as Donnie is going to lead us with something.
Donny Stockburn:Can I just, yeah, because this is, this is what God gave me a couple of days ago in prayer, and what he was just playing. I thought we've just been reading one pipe. Holy Spirit. Yeah, that's what it's all about today. We need that reviving Spirit of God, whoever is leading the government who's ever doing this or that or the other. You can't do it without God's Spirit. He is the wind is the power in us. Jesus never expected us to live this life without the Holy Spirit. He said we couldn't do it even so far. God, when we we ran a bit lonely and I was doldrums. We get into apathy. This church did those kinds of soft bikes out, come on, we need to guide us. You said that's what his job was. To watch over us, guide us and keep us above Lord, for fire and power in US law to drive us forward to drive us on 30,000 drivers on food, his apathy dies, Father God, when we think the war's over, and COVID gone, and let's have a little time and relaxation. Lord, it's not some Christians. Far God, we're always on God. And we can't do that. Without your spirit. So far, God again we confirm that your Holy Spirit we asked for that fire we asked for that wind to come and fill us again, Lord, and again and again. Yes, Father, in Jesus name wherever we are, whatever we're doing, from the greatest to the least. Lord, we ask you, your Phyllis, your church, you live in church, with a fire and power in the wind and Holy Spirit. In Jesus name. We ask this Laura. Amen.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Amen. Amen. Amen. Thank you, Jesus. Thank You, Holy Spirit. We're coming to the table. As we just rest as we be still as my brothers lead us in prayer as we break bread together. As we take this cut together. I just asked God again, law barn for this nation. Burn for the church burn behind God, just breathe, just breathe on us today. Look, Father, give us strength in our phones today, Lord, and He will lead us Lord as we break bread together Lord has done he will lead us to the taken of the cup fall I just pray Lord in the the easiness of this service this morning, Father, you're brave over this nation father, just like the heat yesterday we experienced the heat Lord, Father, we want to experience that Lord, the holiness of God, just the very presence Lord like that hot wind just blowing around us yesterday, Lord, Father, Lord bless Your Holiness, Lord. We need the holiness of God in this nation. Thank you, Jesus. Thank You, Holy Spirit. Thank you, Father bless you.
Andy Hammond:Yeah, Holy Spirit, we thank You that we can always call upon you that you are always there. Waiting. Waiting just for that call. And sometimes we wonder where you are God. But we asked you to help us to give us that strength that faith in you this Yeah. We never forget that you are there. And I'm still in the book of Nehemiah. And there was great opposition to Nehemiah, and Israel in rebuilding the wars. And in some ways so we can reflect and think, Well, you know, we're in our fight. As Christians, we are in a fight. There's always going to be opposition to us. There's always going to be opposition. You're saying but we have a God. Who is who is mighty.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yeah. Amen. Thank you God
Andy Hammond:strong and dispersed in chapter four of Nehemiah, verse 14, of having underlined in my, in my Bible here, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, don't be afraid of them. That's the opposition. That's the enemy. Don't be afraid of them. Remember the Lord who is great and awesome. And fight for your brothers, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes. As a call upon us today, yes, Father, to fight for our brothers. Your sons and your daughters, take your wives and your homes, fight for them. And there's a verse in Deuteronomy, chapter 31, verse six, when Joshua is about to succeed Moses, and the as this command, Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or terrified because of them. For the Lord, your God goes with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Amen. Thank you, Jesus. So that's a promise for each one of us today. He will never leave you by us or forsake you. And Father, as we come before you to take bread and why symbols of the bread and wine encourage you if you've got time to do that and join with us. Huh? If you're watching as we take the bread we remember Christ's body broken for us. Yes. He hung on the cross for us. died for our sin. But remember, he rose again. Amen.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Thank you, Jesus.
Andy Hammond:We remember he rose again. So we thank You, Father, God, for all that provision for each one of us so that we can be in relationship with you. Amen. Amen. Amen.
Donny Stockburn:Yeah, if you're saved if you're born again, never worry about your salvation. You're in. In the last covenant. We've made movement. And it's sealed with this blood of Jesus and heard a nice story told about old No, not Ark. He's he wandering about in the ark, I'll bet he fell over loads of times. But he never fell out of the ark. I mean, because God has sealed. Now one could get hit in the hole could get help for his God. And Laura arches right down here not long ago, Not long now. Her Lord will all be with you. Life is social. And our eyes are fixed on what Abraham's eyes were. He knew his need of God. He knew he couldn't make it without your spirit, helping him. Joshua couldn't take Jericho, on enthusiasm. David couldn't take Goliath on enthusiasm, took your power your spirit to enable them, Lord, and it will take the same for us to get through this life. But you've supplied it all Lord, and a perfect salvation. We follow Jesus, the Great Shepherd. He's leading us to a different place, our mental world. He's already gone there and prepared a place for us. And this is the blood is the blood that made it all possible. The price of blood of Jesus, we thank you for Lord Jesus name, amen. Amen.
Reverend Ben Cooper:cleansed by the blood washed in the blood of Jesus. Amen. So simple service this morning, we'll ask Glenn if he will just close in prayer for us in a few moments. And as we just gather around these mics, I just pray that if you just feel overwhelmed with the pressures of life, you will find peace in Jesus. And then, as the psalmist writes, again, I'm going to read in Psalm 40, verses 11 through 12. Do not hold your mercy from the Lord. May Your love and Your faithfulness always protect me for troubles without numbers surround me. Oh, yeah, Lord, for my sins have overtaken me. Oh, yes, Lord, I cannot say for they are more than the hairs on my head and my heart fouls within me. Be pleased to save me. Lord, come quickly, Lord, help me. That's my heart. cry this morning. Lord, my heart is failing inside this vessel. My bones are weary. My brain Lord is scrambled. Lord, when I look out Lord across the platform of life and see what's happening, I understand we're in end times. So Lord, I pray that you will give us the strength to stand farther you will draw us closer. Under thy wings, Lord, we pray for Psalm 91 Lord that will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. He is our refuge, here's our rock, here's our strength, you are our Redeemer. And this morning, Lord, for all those that just feel that there's just trouble at every area of life. For those that are frightened to go out their front door for those that are frightened to open their eyes this morning for those that don't even open up their computer and look at their emails or even answer their texts. Father this morning, I pray that you will stir us Lord to be strong. Brothers and sisters for Christ Jesus that we will walk, walk, walk, walk, Lord, you told Abraham walk before me and be blameless. I'm in trouble straightaway Lord in the name of Jesus. To walk before you can be blameless. Lord, it feels like some days you got to cut my head off, Lord, because my head is awash with things. My mind is just racing. But Lord, by Your grace and Your Mercy, you saved us, you rescue us. You strengthen us, Lord, you carry us you wrap us in the love. That is unconditional love, Lord, and this morning, Lord. Be pleased to save me Lord as the psalmist writes, verse 13, of Psalm 40 Be pleased to save me, Lord, come quickly, Lord, to help me what a beautiful psalm. There is power in the name of Jesus, her brother Glen is going to bring us to a close in prayer this morning. And may God bless you wherever you are this morning. In Jesus name, amen.
Glenn Walsh:It's a great way to finish. God is pleased to say the song I'm looking at Jonah. Too many genders, isn't there? Oh, yeah. Jonah. Is it God so loved the world. God so loved you and me said he's one and only son. No, God so wants to judge the world. God's sound loves the world. Amen. And Joanie didn't get it. Then he actually says in Jonah four, verse two, this is what he prayed. Oh, Lord, is this not what I said? When I was yet in my own country? That's why I'm a taster flee from I knew that you are gracious God and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love. Oh, amen. Unrelenting from disaster. Yes, Lord. And too many John, come on Jesus. And actually, God says, After joining us even rent over stuff, a plant that died. God said, Should I not have had pity on Nineveh? There's more than 120,000 people there and don't even know they left from there. Right. So Lord, we thank you that your heart is mercy over us. We don't get what we deserve. We got Jesus, our man, thank you. Thank you, Jesus. Thank You that You paid for all of our sin, past, present, and even future. Lord, we thank you that you chose us before the creation of the world are men to be holy and blameless in your site. Thank you for that accomplish work of the Cross. Thank you for your blood. That is our foundation. And thank you, Lord, for Your Holy Spirit. That you are with us. It was yes. Hello until we see you face to face. So Lord, turn your face towards us. We thank you that you're to our left to right in front of us and behind you Hey, mercy, no, Lord, we thank you that there's nothing that can snatch us from your head and from your great love. So whatever tribulation, whatever trial or whatever blessing, we're all going through today. We thank you that you are for us. Yes for us and not against us. You're our God and our life. Bless us all. Amen.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Amen. Amen. Amen. Thank you so much for joining us this morning, wherever you are across this beautiful earth.
