At this moment, we're going to go to the book of Ephesians. That to go to the book of Ephesians chapter one, verse seven, I pray that all of us will grab the Bible, and just have a quick look together and a quick read together, we broke bread together on this community evening in May the hand of God just be upon you. Wherever you are, at this moment in time God is with you. Whether you're in the UK, outside of the UK, whether you're at work, whether you're home, wherever you may be capturing this broadcast at this moment in time. I just pray that you will feel the presence of the Holy Spirit in your life and in your innermost being. But let's just get straight into the Scripture. And we're from Ephesians chapter one Ephesians chapter one, verse seven. And for the last few hours of this day, as we've had it up to this point in time, I've had this word to sit in, in my spirit. And it's that simple word of redemption, redemption. I've had a bit of a strange afternoon all as well though, everything is good in the name of Jesus just not you know, with thoughts with backtracks with your mind, just wishing and washing and turning and turbulence in your head and all sorts of things. The word that came to me all the way through from this afternoon, early afternoon, I just felt, you know, this word redemption, I just want to let you know that whoever you are, and wherever you are, redemption is upon you, that God is with you. And I pray that the power of the Holy Spirit will just strengthen you like never before in your life. And whatever your situation is, wherever you are, at this moment in time, I just pray that you will just feel the love and the power of God, that you will just feel his presence like never before in everything that's going on in your life. I just just asked you that you will turn to this scripture you turn to the Scripture, if you will, it will be absolutely brilliant if you can. And let's just flick through. I'm just checking and making sure we're all there. Set without Okay, right. We're in Ephesians chapter one communion night as we break bread together as we gather around the table as we just rest in His presence as we take a cup together. And what is the purpose of the bread? And what is the purpose of the wine? As we break this bread as we take this cup? What is what is the purpose of all this that we're doing? What is the meaning what is the reason it is about redemption, it is about salvation is about the grace and the power of God is about the saving grace of God. And if you want to, if you would go ahead maybe and read from verse four, if you've got Ephesians, one open. And if you look at Ephesians chapter one, runabout verse four, but the texts that I've had in my spirit I'm going to read straight away is this Ephesians chapter one, verse seven. In Him, we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins in accordance with his riches of God's grace, verse eight that He lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding, you know, the word redemption that has been battering around in my spirit for such a long time, quietly, God has brought to the fore God abroad to my heart, my mind my thinking, conversations I've had with people and just just for the exercise of life, the stretch of life, and, you know, and what does what is redemption, we understand, to be that we are redeemed, that we have been bought back wherever we've been bought back from is a desolate place, but redemption is ongoing. You know, and I, when I talked about salvation is once and then we have been saved once. But to be redeemed is always to be is basically forgiven of sins. So as a human being, I'm a human being. So I am always producing history. So we're all I'm always making history. So everywhere I go, everything I say work life, whatever it may be, everything we say and every action that we do that we are creating, even though that we are living in the now and the very present in this real world that we have now. Every Word we say every action that we do every thought every area of our lives, we are, we are living in now. And we are and we are walking towards what is ahead. So there are three dimension dimensions of our life, we got a history, we got our present, and we got what is to come. So when we are always walking, and we know that we walk by faith, and we and the just shall live by faith, and we walk by faith and not by sight. So we are, we are believing for what God has for us. And we understand that faith and actions go together, that faith and actions are extremely important to understand what faith and actions and how they blend together and how they how they draw one another on one. And you can't really separate because they go together because it says faith and action. So it's moving. It's a continuous process that goes together. It's like one foot in front of the other. There has to be a move all the time, faith and actions, actions of faith, faith, faith and actions, you move, and you're moving all the time. So there's a continuous process as a human being so so I've left my history, I'm let living in the present, but I'm also looking to what is to come through Christ Jesus. So there are three areas three major areas of my life that need to be an I need to be redeemed from, well hang on a moment, we might only say, well, at the moment, in the present everything is okay. So redemption is clearing up the history and the sin and the Fallen sin. But then what is to come maybe there are areas of lives in our lives that we may have, the greater fall that is before us who knows what is ahead of us, but Christ, and we may say, Well, I'm born again, I'm a believer, and I'm watching the blood of Jesus here, but I'm also living in this skin that I was born in. I'm also living in this world that is very hajus and very anti God. So we are always battling the world. If you are a true believer, we know what that's like not talking about religious people and religious understandings because that is just the world with a clergy collar on. There's not no difference there that is brutal, it is hard, it doesn't have a heart it has no thought it has no understanding. It is very Darwinistic I would say in its approach, it will trample on and it will do whoever it wants, then it will do whatever it wants, whenever it wants to get whatever it wants to get for itself that is religion. But if you are a believer, we are from a different mold. I would say in in just layman's term we are we are cut from a different area of life. But what we have to do is and what we understand is that we walk in life we go to work we live our lives we we family orientated everything is revolving around our lives. I mean, there's going on the good, the bad, the smooth, the rough, that it just the circle of life that we live in, you know. But there comes a time there comes a time when when we have to realize or I should say I put myself in this arena for this moment, that every word that I speak every footstep that I tried every every action. As soon as that action and that word had been spoken, it falls into history. So redemption is a continuum because we are always been redeemed, redeemed from sin. Do I seem yes I sin? Why do I sin? Because a wretched man am I Yes, there are hours and days when everything is great and wonderful. But then suddenly I thought drops in an attitude and attitude rises up from within. I find myself getting frustrated, I get a bit lost a bit worried. But whatever it may be, you know, sin has many layers on top of that. So the word redemption, I just want to let you know tonight that we are always being redeemed we have been bought with a price, one sacrifice, it's important to understand that it has been one sacrifice, Christ, the Messiah, one price 30 pieces of silver will give him back. So we understand that the price was the blood of the Messiah, the blood of the Lamb. That was the price Christ paid the price for each and every one of us our transgressions, idiosyncrasies, our failings, our everything, our iniquities, we're now to the cross and taken upon Christ, He became sin, pure in every way, shape and form. But he took on he took it on, and he dealt with it and on what we understand through the cross of Calvary, but that's a different evening what completely so we understand that redemption comes from a buying process redemption, you can only be redeemed, if you have been brought from you can only so I'm always been brought from. You know, redemption is such a beautiful word. When when you look at when you look at this here it says, Let me read from verse four. It says, verse four, four, he chose us in him now, this opens up so much more, doesn't it? It says four he chose us in Him before creation of the world to be holy unbelief be blameless in his sight. Oh Lord, holy and blameless in his sight in love He predestined us for adoption to sonship through Christ Jesus, in accordance with His pleasure and In his will, to the praise of His glorious, glorious grace, which are where he free has given us in love, one of his love and it's got in in verse seven, it says, In Him, we have redemption through his blood, and the forgiveness of sin in accordance with his riches of God's grace that He lavished on us, we've always them and understanding. So without going too much into that, because I just want to stay on the redemption, drama at the minute. So in verse four, it says, He chose us in him. Now, if we understand this God of Israel to be the God that we understand that he is, so he chose each human being in Him, to be saved, and to be drawn into the adoption of sonship. So he has chosen us, he drew us, He created us, He breathed us, he brought us into existence. As the psalmist says, He knitted us together in our mother's womb, He knows everything before the word has been spoken from our mouth, he knew the actions and the physical move and everything. So when you really analyze and you really dissect the word redemption, what a unbelievable word that is. redeemed, so I am always being redeemed, I'm, I'm saved, once I am saved, and I'm washed in about a Jesus, I am cleansed, I have been given salvation I have been saved, I have been rescued, but my actions in my life, my workspace, my home, life, my thinking, my life, my church, life, the flesh me, the world, me, the church mean to me that that the Father, the Son, the husband, whoever we are, whatever we all to people within this world, I will always let people down, I will always fail. And when I say I will always fail. Now that isn't now that is an old, please get the counselors out, get the violins out all dairies having a breakdown. It's got nothing to do with that. But the realization of when you understand who you are in Christ, and when it says lay down, put yourself and layering down at the cross and pick up his cross, you know, let down at the cross and pick up your cross daily pick it up, there are certain areas and certain elements and there are certain parts of a human's life that we wrestle with that we wrestled with the phone that we wrestle with, what is the thing that we actually wrestle with? You know, I often think of that, that that texts were the that great writer writes Three times I pleaded with the Lord, that you will take this away from me. But then God said, through the written word, My grace is sufficient for you. So sometimes, I often wonder, Does God press the thorn a little bit more to make me draw closer to Him, there's God touch to the thorn button, just to make me more spiritually alert the gold God, hallelujah, Lord, it's your grace. It's your grace. It's, it's by grace, I have been saved through unconditional love. That wasn't, I wasn't deserved. And it wasn't given this through any light means but I have been given this through the power of grace and salvation. It is by grace you have been saved, not by work so that no one combos so we have been redeemed, but to be redeemed, am I redeem once? Am I more redeemed more than once? How many times redemption is a process of bringing back bring him back? So when you look at the protocol, the protocol said that I want everything, I'm disappearing. So there is an element, there is a there is an understanding there is a layer of redemption is always happening in my life, because I have been washed in the blood of Jesus, I have been saved by grace, Christ went to the cross one sacrifice once and for all, can I lose my salvation? No. It was it within me to have the capabilities and the power to say Jesus today I'm going to let you in? No, because according to the Word of God, through predestination, and through what I am reading in front of my eyes is as for he chose us in Him before creation of the world. So So I wasn't in physical existence before the creation of the world. I wasn't in human formation, I wasn't in any way in shape or form, as in what we understand as the human being. But we was somewhere and in some place, and I wouldn't when you look at that, I got to be really careful where we look like that was we skeletons hanging up in the cupboard, we've skin on and God breathed in life into us. I'm not saying that whatsoever. When when God decided to pull us out the cupboard and put us on Earth. I'm not not talking about that. But when we understand how vast and how massive and now and how we use majesty and how he is sovereign. So when he says this scripture here in verse four, it says, For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world. So we was chosen before creation Sion in him before the world was created, and also we understand through the Old Testament, He said, I knitted you together in your mother's womb, I brought you into existence, I created you, I use the vehicle of your mom and your father through the biological process, and the navigation of life and through the natural process that I have created and built into human beings to produce children. As it says, in Genesis, I have brought that process into being I breathed that process into the band, I spoke that process into being so you are only here not because of the biological process that is used to get you here. But because I have spoken about you and created you in your mother's womb, before your mother's womb was even brought into existence. So before all humanity was walking the earth, you was on my heart and my mind, why is that God because it was for my good pleasure and my goodwill. And if anyone thinks that they could understand what good God's pleasure and God's will is, that you would have to be some amazing person to be able to get to the end of that conversation because you can't, because His ways are higher than our ways his thoughts are beyond our thoughts. He is the King of glory, and He is the great I AM. But in verse four, he says, I chose he chose us, in him before in Christ in in in the deity in Christ Jesus, so we have been chosen in him before the creation of the world. So he must have known our character, he must have known us we must have been in some form of plan, and then what plan would that be? It would have to be the salvation plan. Isn't that interesting, that before the formation of the garden, God, Christ, the Holy Spirit, that deity was in that era, that realm of creating Heaven and Earth, and as they created man, and woman, they obviously know before because the Scripture gives us a glimmer and understanding and you don't need to be a theologian, that there would be a fool if God created everything in existence. Do we honestly think that humanity could trick God? Do we honor do I honestly think that two human beings could trick him in his creation, when he had just thrown into the universe, the stars, as the as the eyes, Isaiah says, He's stretching out the universe on the scroll as the stars are still accelerating and quickening across the universe, as he created the black holes, the the universe that we're in the planets, the the atmosphere, the magnetic force, the darkness, the light, the sand, the sea, the fish? Do, I actually think, as a believer that that a human being could actually go to God, I'm going to do this my way, actually, I've tricked you here. And you didn't really know that I was going to do this, did you? Because that would make man greater than God. So when you look at redemption, redemption always had to be because the scripture says God knows the beginning, from the end at the end, from the beginning. So he knows the beginning. And he knows the end, and he knows the end, and he knows the beginning. So he knows the beginning of what we call existence, and he knows the end of existence, and he knows the end of creation. And he understands the beginning of creation. So when you look at every area of life, Redemption was always in God's pleasure and God's will for humanity, For God so loved the world. So when you look at John 316, so what I just want to get across, I'm losing track of time. Where are we? Where are we? Where are we redemption, verse seven. So redemption has always been in the conversation and always been in the plan, and always been in being because redemption hasn't come around. Just because humanity fell in the Garden of Eden. There was a plan, there was a creation plan. And when you look at God and the power of the spoken word, I am absolutely putting my life on the line through Scripture and coming to the understanding that God knew that human humanity would fall in that beautiful garden that he created, but he still chose to create what he created. Isn't that isn't some of the text just beyond human understanding, beyond the intellect beyond the cognitive processing of the mind, beyond the human thought beyond the great thinker, beyond the great learner, beyond the highest educated person on the earth, beyond science, beyond reasoning, beyond mathematics, beyond the great thinkers and the philosophers of life, God is above and beyond all that, but what is wrapped up in him and has been given to us through Christ Jesus is that we are redeemed. So I just want to let you know as we come to the table tonight, that I am redeemed and you are redeemed. We have been saved once we have been saved by Christ, the Messiah. We understand that we know where we sit, we have salvation, so we know that we are saved. And the Bible says in Romans chapter eight, nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. So there is no set proration you have been bolt you have been redeemed, you have been set free. But because I am a human being, am I always creating an area of redemption? I believe that I am because the Bible tells me very clearly about redemption on what redemption means. So is it basically we understand that redemption is being delivered and set freed from sin. But if I'm in a position of I keep sending, I keep failing, I will need to be redeemed, not saved. Saved is completely different to redemption. Redemption is being brought back from the sin I have kept being committed. So there might be times when I feel like I'm always being bought back from redemption, that is the power of redemption, you have been redeemed, I have been washed in the blood of Jesus, I have been saved, once saved, always saved, washed in the blood saved by the Messiah, if, if redemption, and salvation had to happen in accordance with every time I sin, Christ had to go to the cross, that that cancels the scriptures out. It says that Christ died one sacrifice once for all. So all sin that has been committed or sin that is about to be committed now. And all sin that is beyond that human understanding that is in front of this human race has been now to the cross of Calvary, again, we come back to the three positions of the cross the three positions, the free now positions. So again, I've been redeemed, I've been redeemed from my from my history. And as I walk this life, I am creating as I speak, everything we do the half an hour we've been together tonight, that has gone into where that is that gone into the future that has gone into history. So whatever we do drops into the box of history. So just there is so much to gather from this word redemption. And I just want to read this before we break bread, I just want to come back and I just want you to ponder over this I want I want you just to just to realize who you are in Christ Jesus, that you are redeemed, if the world makes you feel mucky, if the circumstances of life makes you feel mucky, just remember who you are in God, just remember that God saved you. God chose you. You was chosen in him before the creation of the world. So if this God is who He says He is, which he is who he says he is, if he is this eternal grace and power and authority, and he is this sovereign God, there's no way humanity has any power, or forbearance on what God is going to do on the human being, because of predestination because of salvation, because of grace, because of sanctification, because of the continued continuation of redemption and justification, and the continuation of some of them words, then fundamental words within the bracket and the framework of Christianity. We've been saved, and it has been now to the cross of Calvary, saved by Christ, one action, one crucifixion, one sacrifice once and for all. But there is a continuum. If you are alive and you are a human being and you are breathing tonight, there's every possibility that we may have sin just a tiny bit today. There may be a glimmer but but me more than you because you are so beautiful, you are so holy, and wonderful and pure. And I can feel the radiance coming down the lens tonight your glory, your presence, but i i wretched man, oh my lord, I thought I said I acted, I done frustration, whatever it may have been. As long as this body is breathing and moving, and one foot is going in front of the other and the mind is ticking, I will always be in a position of fighting one's thoughts, mind action. Because the battlefield of life that the skirmishes, the words, the actions, the motions, the physical stretch, the cultures were birthed in the areas of life but redemption, redemption, the ongoing work of Calvary, the ongoing work of the blood, the ongoing work of the Cross, the ongoing work of God's grace and mercy. It is a continuum and is continuously working. It is continuing washing, it is continually driving it is continuing, continually delivering it is continuing setting free. Who the sun sets free is free indeed, yes, I get that. I understand that. But then I've got a live and the just shall live by faith, even for us holy ones that may be out there says I haven't seen today, but I haven't gone by faith. Without faith. It's impossible to please God. Oh as a big one for the church to get your towels wrapped around tonight. Without faith it is impossible to please Him. What a text that is So if I'm faithless, are not pleasing Him if I'm negative, and oh, what have I done? Where are you God, and I'm Faith less. Without faith, it is impossible to please God. So could we present it like this? Do you think that we could be I'm just catching what's going on? On the timelines on the socials? Do you think that there is a there is a glimmer, there is a glimmer, that we are always being redeemed in the sense that God is always redeeming, and God is always drawing, and God is always cleaning, and God is always working, and God is always moving. And God is always dealing with and God is always cleaning the past up, because Because redemption needs to be brought back from where I've been, yes, the cross save me, and what I mean, not the timber cross, I'm talking about what we understand that the cross of Calvary and what Christ done at Calvary, one sacrifice once and for all. So I understand that I understand that then justification and sanctification and repentance, repentance as an interesting word that we just brought into the arena, as we come to this area of breaking bread, repenting, so why would I repent? What? When do I repent? What is the purpose of the word repentance, when I have sinned, so if I have sinned, I am repenting. And as I repent, am I been redeemed from what I've said and done, I am are being brought back Am I being brought to so much to grasp from the text that we are in tonight, but just laid a bit of a blank out, just laid a blanket out, but I just want you to know as you as you rest, wherever you are across the earth, that you are redeemed whatever way we look at that, whatever our interpretation, through the Holy Word of God is what however we feel God is drawing us to that the word redemption means to be redeemed. So we have been redeemed, salvation, another another enormous word in the Christian vocabulary. You are saved, washed in the blood of Jesus. So you are redeemed. The power of the Holy Spirit is living within you. We look at the word holiness, in the scripture that I'm frightened to even open the envelope with the word holiness, God, that word, holiness, Lord makes my DNA shake and tremble with the understanding what it actually means. The holiness and the power, and the purity. And the enormity of this, this God, this this Messiah, this king, this this Redeemer, this Savior, this this, unbelievable to the human mind is unbelievable to the human mind, that this God would create us even though we have fallen, even though we have destroyed what we have been given and caused Carnage and done this and done that. He still chose to create heaven on earth, he still chose to bring humanity into his world and his pleasure and his purpose. And by God's grace, when we get called home, we want to get the full understanding of everything. But by the time all the time we walk on this earth is terra firma, and we just have the footprint of life. There are a few things that we are creating as we live and breathe, we are creating history, our lives that we live in the circle of life. So all the time we are in conversations all the time, we are at work all the time we live and breathe, every time that clock is ticking every millisecond, every second every moment, every minute that ticks by on that clock, everything we've done, everything we've said has created a historical event, whether a good choice, or a bad choice it has caused, and it has created a ripple in the book of history that we have laid stuff into history, whether I need to be delivered from that history, or whether that was a good day or a bad day. That's between me and God and you and God and nobody else to try and and rough, rough all that and pulled out apart. Because our lives are just between us and Him, us and him. The world will judge the world will look the world will point and poke and try to make you feel bad. But I just want to let you know tonight. We've now as we come to this table, redemption, redemption is on you in you around you. However you want to unpack this and look at that, and bring yourself to get to some understanding and how God reveals that to you tonight. One thing is very clear, is that you are redeemed and you are saved and God loves you and the power the Holy Spirit is with you. And you know what I love also so much. It's not about walking into the building. It's about having a heart after God knowing Lord, I'm sinned. I'm a sinful person I've found I've slipped on the on the ice of life. Lord, I love you. I bless you. I thank you Lord, I praise you. You know God is with you. God is with us. Wherever you are, the Holy Spirit is upon you. And I pray tonight as we break bread together, as I just cracked, grab a quick cup of coffee, as we chat around and I just pray that the word redemption really sits well in your innermost being. Because when when I understand what redeem means, and what redemption is, and the power and the ongoing work of justification and salvation, and an all these great enormous words that are out there, in the in the in the in the Bible, within the word in of Christianity, what is out there that we are sanctified, we are justified, we are washed in the blood of Jesus, you are chosen, you are created, you are loved, nothing can separate you from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. God is working within you and upon you and around you. You are on a potter's wheel, your your claim the Masters hands, he hasn't left you out there, he's drawn you in. You are in His Kingdom, you are a daughter, and you are a son, no matter how your emotions are. Because Christianity has nothing to do with the human emotion. The human emotion is just part of this natural realm. Christianity is Christ in me, it's not a feeling. It's not an expression, it is a it is a lifestyle. It is a law. It is us. You know, it is not a happy clappy feeling, Oh, I love Jesus, oh happy and the pink clouds are fluffing around me. It is more than than a feeling. And when I understand that, and I'm very respectful to the word feelings, because feelings are of the body and of the flesh, but spiritual, this God that we serve, he is a God of God. The scripture says God is Spirit. So when you look at that, this, this is us. This is our life. God is in us, God is our life, it is us. And our feelings are to do with our mind and our processing, and our touch and our smell and our senses, and everything like that. But the God we serve is a God of, of of that world that we can't see with our feelings and our senses, and our touch and our perception. So there's so much more to what we are looking at. And you know, the conversation grows. But let me grab this quickly. Right, let's come to the breaking bread, because that's what we're about tonight. So there's a few scriptures that have just been laid out on the table of life for us. And I pray that as we continue to walk, that we understand that we are always creating historical language, we are always creating historical events, we are always and there always will be a history in our lives. Right up until that point when, when this earth so crashes to the floor and become dust again, or whether God takes me whatever way. And however we look at that. We are always creating history. And the majority of the time, I'm always needing to be redeemed and set freed from historical events and historical language, and attitudes and mindsets and thinking and patterns of life and the circle of life. So there is always a process of redemption and justification and so once saved, always saved. So there's always a there's always an inward work of justification. And the power of sanctification is like this motion, always moving within the power of God, and the Holy Spirit, moving and bringing us to conviction. Bringing us to a place of more being more holy and being that righteous person that God has created and drawn us to. So God is God is in you. God is in your heart, your life, your mind. He is in the fabric of the skin that you live in. He's in your thinking he knows what you think on what you say, before you thought before you say because the Scripture tells us. So as we come to the table, and as we break bread together tonight, I just say thank you God, that you sent your one and only Son, to buy to die upon the cross for me to give me a hope and a future. And I understand that this bread symbolizes the body of Christ. And as I broke this bread together now as sisters and brothers, if there is anybody left out there in the world, Lord, I hope and pray the rapture as an app and because Lord, I'm here on my own. Father, I thank you for the body of Christ. And I pray right now Lord with all my heart and I thank You that I am forgiven, that I am saved, that I am redeemed that I am freeing Christ, that Christ made access possible to the Father through him, self go into the cross of Calvary, because it says, I am the Way the Truth and the Life No one comes to the Father, except through me. So the word there is very clear to the one who comes to Me has access to the Father. So there is accessibility to the God of Israel remembering God is spirit. No one has seen God and can live, we understand. Colossians says something very clear very, very, very clearly. Christ is the image of the invisible God. So Jesus, oh Lord, my Savior, my Lord, and my king. I thank you that my life belongs to you. I'm sorry, Lord, that I stumble and I slide. But Lord, I thank You, Lord, that I'm learning to live different. I'm learning to think different. I'm learning to walk different. And thank you God that your word is drawing. Keep drawing us, Lord, bring us to a place. Bring us to that place. Lord, thank you for today. And thank you for this bread in Jesus name, amen. The body of Christ, the body of Christ that was broken from the garden, to the cross. So Lord, as we come before you tonight, our Redeemer, our King, our Messiah, Christ, the Savior of the world, and the Savior of us. So Father, I thank You that You created heaven and earth. I thank you that you created humanity. And Lord, as you created humanity, you knew humanity would fall, but you still continued the process of life. So Jesus, I come before you. And I asked you law publicly and openly. And I thank you that you have washed me of my history. Lord, my present, Lord, and my future, what lies ahead. Thank you for redemption. Thank you for salvation. Cleanse me, wash me. Bring peace tonight, Lord, to all of us in Jesus name. Amen. Sisters and brothers, whoever, wherever you are this evening. I'm just reading the socials, I'm being a little bit naughty. May God bless you and strengthen you wherever you are. The word redemption? Wouldn't it be great? Wouldn't it be so powerful? If the preachers and the teachers would just keep reminding us about the beautiful word, the beauty that's in redemption of being redeemed? Will it be great? Wouldn't it be so beyond human understanding that the churches will talk about salvation? The churches we need to be very careful not only because all over the years, we come to Jesus give you all what do you actually mean, about coming to Jesus, there's an altar call. everybody rushes down the front, you know what I'm saying? And I've got this, this understanding of what that altar call me actually means. And I think many of you understand where I come from on that what we call an altar call, is, we understand that that's where I decided to give my life to Jesus. What actually I believe that that altar call is a time when my human body just came and comes into a realization that that was the moment that God opened my eyes to a holy God. Not that I had the power at the footstool at the pulpit of the preacher to say, Yeah, I like that message. That message has made me want to give my life to Christ. My life was already in Christ, but what I had was a soul moment, because my life was already in him and what I had was the spiritual scowls just removed off my eyes. Yes, my lips might have said, Yeah, decided, but my lips have no forbearance on the power of redemption and predestination, that that I honestly believe when you look at the altar call, and it's not taking anything away from the altar call. But I think what God has done to me through the understanding of what an altar call is, is literally for the human being to actually come to that realization that God has stripped me back of my earth suit and opened this earth so up, and my body is just my human body has just come into the realization that God has always been and is always in existence. Not that my human body has the power to say, yes, Jesus today I let you in. Because what I've read tonight already tells us that we was chosen in him before the creation of time, so that so you can almost look at the altar call and go, Well, what was the altar call all about? Because if the Scripture says, I was already chosen in him before creation of time, what at what point would Christ allow that? I've gotten going off I don't want to go off because we're bringing it but but but what but you are hope and pray that God just continues that move in your heart. up, that the altar call is a place of where the human being the human me, actually has the scows removed, and my body comes into an understanding of God is real, not that I decide to choose him at that point, because he has already chosen. My might say the words but but the human words, have no forbearance on what he is going to do in my life. Because look at Jonah, Jonah said, I ain't going and God said, I'll give it a few days, and you'll be that son. So you understand, you understand. So Jonah is a great character to look at. Jonah said, I'm not delivering what you want me to deliver, I am not going to say what you want, I am not doing it. So there is a classic, there is a beautiful biblical reference of how a human being thinks they can run from God, and speak to God in the way that it thinks they can control God, when actually God is just bringing things in your life, to get your attention to say, I'll let you say that for a while, but just remembering I created you. And you are predestined, and you have been anointed to do what I'm calling you to do. And you are my instrument. You are my vessel. Your lips are telling me that. But I'm just, I'm going to finish. I'm going. We're out of here. Because this could go on and this could go on. So I just pray. Let's just pray. Let me just pray. You know, Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray for everybody on the socials tonight. Everyone in the world of podcasting, I thank God that we've spent this 42 minutes God that you've allowed us just to speak and to be in the Word of God. But tonight, Lord, I pray, Father, that the word redemption comes alive in our spirit, Father, that we can get a handle a spiritual handle a hold on that, what that actually means to know that we have been redeemed. We are free, because the sun sets free is free indeed. So Lord, we thank you tonight that we are free. Father, we thank You that You are our God and our King. And I pray, Lord, that you will bless everybody that's on the socials tonight, wherever they are, I just pray for peace in their hearts. And I pray for everybody in this world of podcasting or to my right, Father, that as they capture this a week down the line as they download this across the world, and everybody may be in New Zealand tonight and wherever they are across the world. And then people that we know Lord that capture this stuff. I asked you Father that you just Lord, draw us closer to you. And I thank You, Lord. It's not about getting in the box of church. It's about believing. It's about believing in the God of Israel. The Great I Am So Lord we believe. Help us understand more. Thank you for predestination. Thank you, Lord, that we was chosen before our lips moved. Come Holy Spirit. Lord, quickness, accelerate us, keeps us in this position farther or endurance or pushing in so that we can finish the race, capture the prize. In Jesus name, amen. God bless every one of you.
