Good evening, God bless you, wherever you are this evening. I hope you are well wherever you are across the south. Whatever your time zone may be, it's 737. Here within the UK, we thank you so much for joining us as you join us for this live stream. And this broadcast, wherever you are, in this moment in time make up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, whatever your day has been like today, I pray that you find breasts for your innermost being, and you find peace for your heart, we're going to turn to Psalm 63. We're going to turn to Psalm 63 In a few moments, and also, we are going to turn to the Gospel of John, I'm gonna go to the Gospel of John, we're gonna go to chapter four, chapter four. For anybody who's looking for a title to to stamp on this this evening, I would literally just put on Christ does not reject me. Christ will never reject you, Christ will never turn you away. Christ calls us nd before we even realize where we are, and the situations that we are in God is for you, and is not against you. But I just want to put this before each and every one of us tonight. When you look at the weather, I can see clearly for the studio windows at this moment, we see very clear the evens are dropping in the daylight is changing, and everything is happening around us in the arrows. There is a change in the season, at this moment in time. But you know what we've been through, we've been through a very dry period, we've been for a very dry period in this nation. And also not just through the weather system, not just through the structure of living, but also spiritually. So I believe there are many people out there tonight that are really firstly, that are really hungry, that are really seeking and looking for the answers to life, the big questions why. And I believe God is drawing you and God is pulling you and God is talking to you. And there is significant change in many people's lives. You know, we've we've commuted the same way we've gone to church the same way, we've sat in the same seat, we've we've lived the same life, time and time again, we walked out the front door at a certain time, walk down the same pathway to school, we've done this and that, you know, but there is a window of change in the air. And I really believe Christ is calling many people out of different denominations. I believe Christ is calling many people out of different scenarios in very different settings. But there is a first and there is a hunger amongst many of us. And there may be an issue in our lives in our spiritual walk with them where we're thinking, Why do I feel as strange as a stranger that I feel what is this strange feeling? I believe that there is a stirring and there is a hunger like we've never had before. And the areas of certain churches and areas of teaching certain areas of Pastor ship and pastoral care and teaching that we've had across this nation it hasn't. And it can never do it can never bring us to a place of of the cross. And the reason I say that not all the areas of teaching but most purely because a lot of the preaching and a lot of teaching in a lot of denominations are for themselves and not for the encouragement like we need the Barnabas says we need to Barnabas is to encourage us to walk along with us when we're tired and when we're weary. And when we're almost exhausted from life Barnabas is very powerful in the scripture of where he was an encourager, he encourage those around him. And what we need is times of encouragement. So I want to try and encourage you now, at this moment in time to keep seeking to keep looking, I believe there is significant change in your life in my life. I believe that many of us, many of us across the platform have life, different denominations, different upbringings, different cultures, different settings in life, we've all been treading the same sort of ball to the very robotic way in relationships, out of relationships, in life out of life, dealing with things dealing with issues, you know, family stuff, work stuff, all this sort of area needs elements. So I've just a natural circle of life, but the times in which we sit when you look at where we sit biblically. And when you look at the book of Revelations and fasula and Thessalonians when we clearly see that we are sitting in end times so there is a stirring. There is a freedom that comes with that but I believe that there are many that are on a on a breakaway moat movement in their lives that they are just about to break away. You're you're just about to walk into a new season, a new beginning, a new setting for your life, a new press, whether you're you're here within Kent, whether you're miles away, whether you're close to the church, wherever you are, across the world, and we know that we have many that join us, online across the other side of the world. And I just pray that you will just keep focused on Christ, keep focused on the word, just keep seeking Him and looking for him. So we're gonna go to Psalm 63. So those that are in the world of podcast, and we welcome you, for those that will capture this a week down the line, but you can find us on I Heart, Radio, Spotify, and many other platforms and Alexa as well, and also those that are with us with this live stream broadcast at this moment in time. May God draw you into a greater walk with him, you know, I will fail you, I will let you down. But Jesus Christ will never fail us. He will, you know, pastors, leaders, brothers, sisters, wild family, humanity will bring us to a place of, of almost let town work will bring us to a place of let down settings will bring us to a place of let down. But that is not pushing any anyone down or pushing humanity down. But this is just telling us that the realization that we are all human, we all have sinned and fallen short of thy glory. So who do I look to I look to Christ, I look to the King of kings and the Lord of lords, he, he will he will lead me in paths of righteousness. And you may have beautiful people around you may be surrounded with God fearing men and women. And thank God for that. Or you might be in a setting where it's really hard, it's it's dry. If everything feels really hard to us, you're you're pushing in, and you feeling that you're really enduring all the time that you're really going through, just keep going through because there is breakthrough, there is a there is a movement, there is a there is a breakthrough moment. And I've got to be careful are I speak in the language that I use the biblical language is correct. And not just the evangelical language that I've, that I've been nurtured with and which and I, which I have been shaped with. So I'm learning to speak different learning to use words very differently. And be very careful how I present things to each and every one of us. But Good evening, and thank you for joining us. But I believe there's a couple of things happening to every one of us, that are believers, there is a wind of change, there are opportunities that we never thought we would have. God is drawing us and also to remind ourselves that we are redeemed, that we are children of a living God. And I just want to let you know tonight Christ never will reject me or will reject you. You are a son and you are a daughter of the living God and God loves you unconditionally. Verse seven, I just want to read verse seven of Psalm 62. Before we go into Psalm 63. So actually, let me take it from verse five, if you can just bear with me a moment. If you can just bear with me a moment. I just want to go from verse five. Let's start this right now. Let's start the reading. If you've got a Bible, grab yourself a Bible look, you know, I've actually got a corner I've got a corner of the Gospel of John missing. So I've got that just over there. I've got to get back in. You know, this is real. This is this is my everyday Bible. This is what I work from, live from speak from. So it is it is it I seriously taken a bit of a pounding. So what I'm trying to say is the greatest investment we'll have in our lives is to is to get ourselves a Bible and for that person that asked for a Bible last week, I won't mention the names on air, but we have got your Bible and we will be sending it on to you. So be ready to receive that through to post so there you go. Get yourself a knife Bible. You know, no cover, no cover, no index, it has been torn to pieces. I got bits missing out of it. It sounds a little bit like me torn to pieces. And it said the spine broken out of it for HB to God. Psalm 63. Let's turn to Psalm 63. And we're gonna go to verse five, first five, six, verse seven, verse eight, and then we'll drop down into Psalm 63, verse one, Psalm 62, verse five, and it says, yes, my soul finds rest in God and my hope comes from Him. Truly, He is my rock and my salvation. He is my fortress, I shall not be shaken my salvation and honor depends my salvation on honor depends upon God. He is my mighty rock, my refuge, trust in him at all times. You people pour out your hearts to Him, for God is our refuge. I'm just gonna read that again. For those that are just jumping online I can see we're in Psalm 62, verse five. Yes, my soul finds rest in God. My hope comes from Him. Truly, He is my rock and my salvation. He is my fortress. I shall not be shaken my salvation and honor depends on God. He is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, you people poor out your hearts to Him, for God is our refuge. So I will find rest only in God, rest comes from God. Salvation comes from God. He is my rock, here's my refuge, here's my strength. Here's my yes and amen. You know, let's take denomination out of the equation, take church out the equation. Take pastors and leaders and me out of the equation, take our congregation or friends out of the equation, take family out the equation, take everything out the equation, and do what Hebrews I got to do what Hebrews 12 Verse two says, Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and the perfecter of our faith. So yes, the Psalmist says, yes, my soul finds rest in God, if you are looking for complete rest from complete peace, for guidance for for the encouragement for the stillness for the for that place that you are sitting in, maybe life is just is quite disturbed at this moment. Maybe you're trying to juggle and you're trying to spin so many plates on sticks. You know, there's such a dangerous thing for any one of us to do is trying to spin so many things and try and keep everything balanced. You know, we can't do that. I urge you tonight to focus on God to seek Him. Because this is what he says about you and for you. And to you. Yes, my soul finds rest in God. My hope comes from Him. Truly, He is my rock and my salvation. He is my fortress, I shall not be shaken my salvation and honor depend on God. He is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times you people pour out your hearts to Him, for God is our refuge. He is our refuge, our fortress, and our strength. Now if we were to just a jump, just drop down to Psalm 63. And then we're going to go go into the Gospel of John, chapter four will will accelerate into the New Testament in a moment. So salvation and rest, and hope comes from Him. He is your God. He is your strength. He is your refuge. He will make a way where there feels to be no way he will bring and he is making a new season happened in your life. He is bringing new NAS he's bringing new beginnings he is bringing glory he is bringing hope there is hope and there is redemption. And there is freedom in God. You know, there may be many of us tonight. Feel that tonight. We're just in the wilderness of the UK that we're going round and round with. We've tread and we've trod upon the boards of life. And we've gone round in circles, we've gone round in circles. And our life just looks the same the same Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, it just and Sunday just seems to be the same press across the life looking after family going to work, waking up going to sleep doing this doing that, just a humdrum, the, the density of the circle of life, I believe that there is breakthrough coming. I believe that the power of the Holy Spirit is drawing all of us into a new position, a new position, I believe that we are coming out of the Wasteland, that we're coming out of the rhetoric, we're coming out of the old press, we're coming out of the historical way, we're coming out and we are walking into a new setting. But the Bible says the just shall live by faith, I gotta go by faith. And I cannot go by feelings or anticipation. I cannot allow fear. Because what fear does fear drives us to do things and to stay in a position where we think is a safe place when actually fear will drive us to a familiar place and it's not too good. It's not good to stay in a familiar place. Because a familiar place can be a place of an entrapment. The Bible talks about a snare we got to be careful of the snare layers, the controllers, the workers, the manipulators. And the New Testament says Do not cast your pearls to pigs do not give to dogs, what is sacred. There are many of us at this moment in time that are looking at the landscape of our life in front of us and saying Lord, what is next? What is next for church? What is next for my life? What is next Lord, I feel Lord, there is a new there is a shaping upon my life. There are many that that seem and at this moment filled to be on the potter's wheel, that there is a shaping and to be shaped and to be changed. It is painful. You know, God the master is working in your life. He's working on your physical, he's working on your mental he's working on your spiritual, he's shaping he's, he's cleaning up he rescues each and every one of us. But the master is at work in your heart, in your mind and in your innermost being. And God is with you. Wherever you are across this small teaser of an earth tonight. It's a little bit sticky because it's hot. God is with you wherever you are. I pray tonight that you will feel the presence of the Holy Spirit. If you're in your home tonight. I pray that you will find calm and rest. If you are capturing this live stream broadcast at work, wherever you are tonight I pray that you will find rest. Because there are many in the circle of life, and each and every one of us has been birthed into some form of culture, westernized culture and different different cultures and settings in the world. Every one of us has been birthed into some form of a culture. And I believe that there is breakthrough in your life, your workspace, your home life, your relationships, your children, there is a new dawn break and there is a there is a new beginning break in for you. Just hold tight to Christ, trust in Him, because of the psalmist says in Psalm 63, verse five, my soul can only find rest in God, my hope comes from Him. And also he is my hope, he is my rest. He is my rock and he is my salvation. And then he says he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. There are many storms coming to the shoreline of the UK, many households are being hit. Many cultural tides are changing, cultural church settings are changing. You know, this nation is full of a very traditional ways of doing things whether church, home life, family life, workplace issues, you know, we are living in times of where cultures and settings are being stripped back and a strip back is a good thing. Because it can only be God that strips back and sometimes a stripping back can feel quite painful and it almost makes us feel very bad for society. It makes us feel very raw. It feels like we've been opened up that we're having open heart surgery, and we feel quite exposed our emotions our feelings feel very tender, we feel like the we're living on on a knife edge. Sometimes we feel almost like a cat or not bricks, that's that just keeps moving. It just keeps looking out. God God, God is stirring and God God is drawing. So God will give you rest. God will give you hope. He will. He is your rock and he is your salvation. You will not be shaken in God. For my salvation, the Psalmist says comes and depends on him. God does not reject God does not reject but he shapes he trims back he he looks at he deals with he he moves the Holy Spirit brings in counsel, the Holy Spirit brings in conviction the Holy Spirit shapes us a Moses. And I just want to look at Psalm 63. Before we just quick and and go into the New Testament a moment in Psalm 63 Verse one it says you God are my God, and I earnestly seek you. I honestly believe with every fiber of my being. There are many in every set in every culture, church setting vary. And we must remember we are very traditional within the UK, we stick to the same church we stick to the same seat, we leave the house at the same time. We get on the same train, we commute the same way we do this. We are we are entrenched, we are almost slaves to the, to the way that we operate. You know, I know what the scripture says who the sunsets free there, it's free indeed. But actually freedom, spiritual freedom. Christ is at the well of your life. And we're going to go up to the Scripture, excuse me, that talks about the well, Jacob's well. There are many sitting at the wheel of life at this moment. And there is a change at the wall. Because at the well there is living water, who is this living water, it is Christ. And Christ is walking with you whether you're in Psalm 23, Psalm 91, whether you're at the top of the mountain, the base and a mountain midway on the mountain, wherever you are in the circle of life, whatever your stretch is, as a human being on this earth. God is with you. God is with you in in the humdrum or we might say, in the humdrum of my life in the monotony of the circle of living of life. And I believe that there are many wanting to break out now that circle represents this is what I believe this circle represents. It represents the wasteland as it depicted in it and as it was for the children of Israel kept going round and round and round week after week after week listening and seeing the same thing, having the same batter in having the same knocking, having the same effect during the same motion going in and out like a revolving door in and around going round on the merry go of life. I believe there are many on the cultural merry go the work merry go the church Merry Go of life and we get into the point and maybe we're over the tipping point where there are many saying you know what, I cannot live in this life anymore. I cannot live with the circumstances around me. I cannot I cannot do this anymore. I believe that is because Got history in us, and there are new beginnings. And let me let me just let's just throw our eyes that on when I mean, you know, I mean, friars, I don't mean take your eyes out and from across the floor. I mean, let's look, let's put our eyes on the Scripture, Psalm 63. Let's throw our eyes onto the Scripture. And let's go to 63 Psalm 63 verse one. So let me just remind us and myself of this, Psalm 62, verse five, my soul finds rest in God, my hope comes from Him. He is my rock and my salvation and he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and honor depends on him, I will not be shaken. I trust in him at all times. And I pour out my heart to him, how do we pour out our heart to this invisible God but he's omnipresent and omnipotent. How? How do I find this god how the Scripture says, Seek ye first the kingdom, the kingdom of God is within the kingdom of God. See, as I seek Him, He He knows my heart, He knows your heart, he knows that we are longing we are longing for the change, he knows what we long for, he knows and he sees our heart, he, he sees the cry of your heart, he sees a frustration of life. He, he sees that we are smiling in the storm of life and but we're crying from within he, he carries the pain, he wipes the tears, he is your God and He is your King. And in Psalm 63, it says, You God are my god, earnestly I seek you. I thirst for you. Now, this is the point I first for you. We have come through and we are about to leap in to a hosepipe ban, I cannot understand why we are waiting for the hosepipe ban to start when rain is going to fall, talk about upside down. You know and I know it started in certain areas, but there's things are about on a certain date, it will start you know very interesting the way the world thinks the way the system works and everything like that. We are living in thirsty times the ground this thirsty, humanity is thirsty, the seasons are changing as quick as we can count, our lives are changing. And what as what has been the driver has been COVID-19 Not looking at where COVID-19 come from and what the story was. Because I actually believe with all my heart it was a plague. I believe in the biblical references I I believe in and studied and see something very different. That could be quite disturbing, but not looking at that at this moment. But what has happened since COVID-19. There has been a breakout, it feels like there's been an anger grenade flown into the arena of life and it has exploded. It has blown the doors off for certain establishments and there is a freedom. And we've got to embrace the freedom that is around us. This has nothing to do with the enemy. This has to do with the power of God. God has given freedom. The enemy chains down. The enemy uses people he uses situations, workplace issues, cultural issues, the tide of life, financial stretches, educational upbringings, living in postcode certain areas, you know, the enemy tries to box us and hold us in a position but I believe that there is there is an anger grenade going off. And there's been an explosion, and we are unfamiliar of the freedom that we actually see with our heart. There is a freedom upon you that you've never experienced before. And it's almost like a fearful thought, hang on a moment I see that there is a doorway there is a moment of opportunity. There is an opportunity for many believers to step into a place of faith and say, Dear God, I believe that change the wind of change is blowing down the corridor of my life. I believe the wind of change is over this nation. I believe the wind of change. Father, I thank you for what you are doing, Lord, I embrace it, I walk in it. And I'm going to live by faith because I Lord, I believe that there is Lord, the front door of my house is open to you. Lord, I open the door Lord, I put the blood over a door and the lintel of my house because as for me in my house, we shall serve the Lord. Now I have to be very careful when I quote that text simply because we need to go backwards out that text and God says that you must get rid of idols out of my life. I must stop worshipping foreign gods. Before I can come to that point that says As for me in my house, we shall serve the Lord. There is a lot to that text but we are getting to that place. Psalm 63 verse one, you got a My God I earnestly seek you I thirst for you. My whole being longs for you in a dry and a parched land where there is no water. The season is Go in us through picture formation of where we sit spiritually. denominations have failed, I have failed, pastoral helps have failed, situations have failed, I have let congregations down. I have preached wrong messages over the years the message that I want to preach, but now I'm learning to be obedient to God, I have preached the good old evangelical message, I have preached what the textbook has said, I have gone down the theological stretch of listening to what the wave and the tide of the worldly church may be doing. So I am repenting and asking God for guidance in that same Lord, let me hear from you, Lord, I need to preach different I need to walk different I need to live different. And Lord, Lord, I feel that you've the doors of hope, Lord are swinging wide. And there is hope there is hope in the arena of life, there is hope in the circle of everything we're in. So when I look at the text, and when we present the text, and when I bring the text to each and every one of us, firstly, the text sits in me first. And my heart and my spirit are grappling with it my mind, I've got to be careful that I don't preach with my mind and my thinking, and my anticipation that I'm learning to speak from the innermost being on my heart that I'm learning to share the scripture from within, because the scripture says out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water, out of your belly, but not out of your head, not out of your thinking and not out of your anticipation. Because mindset and anticipation, the chemistry of life. But within within there is a well within you. And I believe there are wells being dug, I've got to be very careful how I speak and how I present and how I put things on the table to each and every one of us. When I say wells, what wells of life, you know, we're gonna go and turn to the scripture in a minute. And it talks about a well at a well, there is normally dry Ness because the world is feeding the land around it. So a well in certain ancient times was really needed. Because it was the life source. It's all they had was that well, but I believe that there are wells being dug new wells are springing up the wells of Hope Wells of of new now, I've got to be very careful. I'm trying to hold this careful what I say. But there are many of us sitting at Jacobs. Well, Jacobs well was very traditional place. It is a cultural place. Jacobs world was a place of history. Jacobs world was a place of change. But she didn't want to embrace the change. straightaway, it was only Jesus that could bring the change to her, because she was in a cultural setting. And we are all with a male or female, we are all in cultural settings wherever we are birthed. We have all been birthed into certain settings, certain languages, certain expressions, certain ways of living. So all of us have a certain traditional way of the way that we live. But I believe the well of tradition is being broken. Because Christ is at the well of tradition, and lives are being transformed. And and I pray that whoever and wherever we are this hour, the world that we are sitting that is about to run dry, but Christ is about to give us living water, there is hope. In living water, there is healing. In living water, there are new beginnings in living water. There is a move that we have never seen before. Because Christ is the living water. He is the wellspring of life. and in Him all things exist. Colossians tells us about He is the image of the invisible God and he and the all things consist in him. He is the bright morning star. He is the King of kings. He is the Lord of Lords. He is your Redeemer, he is Jehovah Jireh he is your Savior, He is your God. He is your rescuer. He is you're live in water. And we are just about to go up to the Gospel of John Chapter Four. And I just want you to hold it at the moment before you can you can accelerate up there you can go up further. That is entirely up to you. But for those that are just staying with me a moment just stay with me a moment and just stay in Psalm 63. Let's see what this says for ourselves. And again, I would urge you to grab yourself a paperback version is great. Even the electronic devices it's great having that I've got that in front of me here. I've got it here. You know the world is operating off of electronics. But there is something powerful about the living word, the fabric of the page, the the ink on the page, the spoken word, the feeling that The relationship that you have with that living word. You know, I know that God will speak through this wall behind me he was spoke speak through the sound protection behind me he will speak through the table. He will speak for the carpet he will use anyone and any situation to get what he's got to get to you. But I would urge you to find yourself a Bible that is in paperback form. And you know there is a shortage. Do you know there is a shortage of paper at this moment? You know, regarding good news for everyone there at the Gideons formerly known as Gideons. There is an issue with printing certain Bibles at this moment there is a shortage. So when the Bible talks about the famine, there is a famine. We are in a famine, we are in a dry and parched land. We are in a parched land. Now let's just hold it in Psalm 63, verse one, only verse one, and it says, You got our My God, He is your God, and He is your God. And that is you God, are my God. Earnestly I seek, do you feel inside your innermost being that you are tired of the issues around at this moment? Do you find find there's almost an emptiness, that's the best way to describe it, a longing, a hunger, desire, there's, there's a vacuum inside that just just keep burning, and it just keeps bubbling up. There is a Ernest nest, no earnestness that is inside of you, inside of me that we've never experienced before. And it can almost make us feel that there is something strange happened to us. Now what I've said there is something strange happening to us. The reason I have said that is that because that is a biblical reference, do you feel that there is something strange happening to you? Where religion has failed and the establishment has failed to deliver the Word of God over the years, there is a hunger in those that are believers, believers in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, believers in the New Covenant, believers in the Gospels and the believers in the rapture of the church believers, from Genesis to Revelation. Believers in the Word of God, I believe, but I struggle to understand because understand, sits on the shelf with anticipation sits on the shelf with with with everything else with knowledge, sits on the shelf with academics. So it sits up there understanding sits up there. So how do I get an understanding? What is this? How do I? How do I grasp this word? God reveals, Paul writes, As I write this mystery of the gospel of Jesus Christ, as I write, it is being revealed to me it is being revealed through revelation or knowledge as I write this Holy Word of God, as I present this on this paper, as I write this in written format, as I sit and as I speak, it is being revealed because God is working through revelation or knowledge, there is something so powerful in Revelation or knowledge rather than academic knowledge, academics and academia is a serious stumbling block, you can find yourself the more educated you get, the more understanding that we get with the science of life, and the science of progression. And the theories that go along with science. It can clog the mind. So the mind can never understand the human mind can never understand the concepts and the precepts. And the revelate. Because the mind works in logic, and it works through chemicals, and it works through processing. And it works through the Science of Living and it works through mathematics. It works through number not numerology, it works through the logic and it works through the natural processing. So we read God's word and it gives us information, and it gives us a fulfillment. But what what happens is, is the more that we read it, we find that out, there is a hunger for more of that not front of mind, not for the educational stretch, because that that is of this world, what we find ourselves is that as we read the Word of God and we study and we hear the word, because the book says faith comes from hearing a message and the message is heard through the word of God. As we embrace the living Word of God. We find that that innermost being is getting fed is getting nurtured is getting watered. So we are finding that there is a battlefield of the mind the natural mind, the natural processing of living the natural articulating of living, and what we are finding is because we are in a dry and a parched land in Psalm 63, we are finding that we are needing something more than the policies of government can offer more than education can offer more than the political agenda can offer, more than the business area can offer, more than our culture can offer, we are finding that we are hungry, and there are many on a break out move, but we are frightened to break out because am I breaking out of tradition? am I breaking out of the world? What am I, I believe God has taken us out of the wilderness and pulling us and drawing us into the Promised Land, into his promises into his word into his understanding, and God is revealing and there are many that are grappling with the decisions that we have to make. We have lived a certain way we have walked to Song way we have spoken a certain way. We have been taught a certain way. And what many are finding that certain way, isn't given us spiritual fulfillment. It fills us with knowledge, it fills us with understanding, it fills us with with the worldly way of living, but we are finding that we are hungry in the tide of Christianity that we need, we want more we are hungry, God help us. Our natural earthly thoughts are not given us spiritual fulfillment, because they are earthly thoughts, they cannot give us spiritual fulfillment. So we are finding that there is almost a strange feeling a strange presence of uncertainty, because we have gone traditional, we have gone through education, we have come through certain areas and what we have found through lockdown through Brexit and what we are finding through the stocks and the shares. And what we are finding out through the business world that that doesn't give us fulfillment anymore. The culture doesn't give us fulfillment. The finance don't give us fulfillment. We're always looking and we've always been looking for social fulfillment we've all been looking for that them accolades them, them outstretched arms, but we're not getting them out stretch arms, we will only get that from God and God's arms are wrapped around you tonight and wherever and whoever you are, I just want to bring us to this place. bring us to this place of the well of life. So we're going to we're going to read this one more time in Psalm 63 verse one, you got oh my god, earnestly I seek you. My whole being longs for you in a dry and parched land where there is no water, there is no water, I know rain may have fallen over the last few hours, I am referring to spiritual dryness, the season the heat, the strength of the sun, the the unusual heat that we are had it is not because we are looking at save the planet. What we are seeing the seasons are depicting and telling us the spiritual environment and the spiritual environment is found where in the Word of God, so that the elements of life, the processing and the focus on the earth, and save the planet should not be because the Bible tells us this is what will happen in the end times how the world will react, how the world will perform, what the seasons will do, what the sun will do what the moon will do what the stars the Universes will do. So what we are seeing outside the window of our life, when we look across nature in life, the world is only doing not because we have damage to the ozone layer, not because we are done. And we have drunk too many bowls of water and not because of we are discarded. And we have been being brutal to the planet. Yes, there are areas and elements to that. And I don't want to get in the environment or skin in that drum, I'm not going to go and glue myself to them 25 and shout and changed myself to the railings of number 10 Downing Street because what the Bible tells me very clearly the environment is doing what the environment is doing. The weather is doing what the weather is doing, not because of Save the planet, save the world, but because the Scripture is telling us but there is a hidden agenda from Kings there is a hidden agenda from earthly kings, there is a hidden agenda from earthly establishments to focus on save the planet. Because if I look outside the planet and if I hear what the planet and what they think the planet is doing, it will drive me to fear and it will take me off the focus of what really is happening. And what I've got to be looking to is Jesus. So there are many of us at the world. There are many of us at the wheel of life. And I pray that the well that you sit at today is that you trust Jesus because Jesus will not reject you from the world. Now let's quickly let's go up to the gospel. Let's accelerate up to the Gospels. Let's get up to the gospel of John's. We got into John chapter four. He talks John on chapter one all the way through talks about the world, it talks about a world the lady says, We have come to this world of tradition, we have been to this place our generations have come here, we have lived like this generation after generation. This has been given to us by our forefathers, the livestock come here we have, we have lived from this traditional place. God is breaking traditional places. God is breaking the traditional tide. God is breaking the traditional snare that we've all been entangled with. And there is freedom, because there is living water at the well of tradition, oh, yes, there is living water. At the traditional place. There is a change, there is a there is a snapshot, there is a window of opportunity, there is a window of change. And that window and that breath and that breeze from Heaven is blowing over the corridor of your life. And God is calling you back, keep seeking faith and actions go together. And I just want to take our eyes, I just want to take our eyes. And I just want to go to verse seven of the Gospel of John, chapter four. And when we look at verse seven, it says, When the Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, Hey, will you give me a drink? And she said, You're asking me to give you a drink? For you are a Jew, and I'm a Samaritan Samaritan woman, and you are asking me for a drink for Jews do not associate with Samaritans. Jesus answered, if you knew the gift of God, then who is before you and who was asking you to give you a drink, it says you would have asked him and he would have given you living water, sir, she said, you have nothing to draw from. And the well is deep. I can hear hearts crying tonight, saying that the world is deep, the well is deep. Tradition is deep, tradition is empty. It is monotonous, this woman was coming to this Well, time and time and time again, history had been created at this well, tradition has been at this well, the humdrum of living was at this world. But Christ is at the well of tradition. And Christ is changing the humdrum of tradition. And there is a break out moment in my life and your life, there is live in water. And what I just want to push a little bit and just drive a little bit. If you may allow me a little bit more time in your life this evening. She was not rejected at the world. She was not rejected in the issues that she had. Christ did not reject her, but he embraced her. He said, I have live in water, you are thirsty, you will always be thirsty, if we all stay in our cultural postcode, if we all stay in the ivory tower, if we all stay in the very traditional way that we are staying in, we will always be thirsty. But there is a breakout at the world of tradition. When you look at this world that this lady was at, and the amount of time that she had spent here and how she had and how she looked at this world, this world represented everything to her. But this world wasn't fulfilling this world was very arduous to this world was very enduring this world was exhausting to her, she would come up at noon, she would be exhausted, she would just draw time and time again. And she would be coming to a time in her life where she will be thinking, what I am drawing from and where I am drawing at at this moment, I am not getting the nourishment, I am not getting the fulfillment, from this very cultural setting that I am working and walking in. There are many of us in settings or business settings of life, education, culture, we all are in certain areas of culture, very traditional ways of living life. We all live life very traditionally, and in a very certain way of our lives because it is the way that we only know but we are looking for change. Christ is at the world of tradition, and there is change at your well. You are tired, you are weary. You are sleeping like you've never slept before. You cannot seem to find refreshment. You cannot find to seem nourishment you cannot seem to find peace in the setting of the well of life because Christ is drawing you to a new well. He is drawing you to a spiritual Well He is drawing you to water that you cannot draw from Business what you cannot draw from life, what you cannot draw from, from, from tradition, what you cannot draw from family culture, workplace education, political, the political arena, Christ is the one that will give you the living water. But we got to keep seeking, we got to keep coming to him, Come to me, all of you that are weary, heavy laden, and I will give you rest. He says this, Jesus answered, anyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again. What are you saying, the very traditional way of church, the very traditional way of living, the very traditional way of drawing from the same place the same culture, the same setting the same background, the same last stretch, this same position, the circle that you are in now, and I'm speaking to myself now, will always make us feel Firstly, we will always be drier to a certain degree, we will always be hungry to a certain degree, because I am living out of tradition. And I'm living out of the flesh side, rather than I'm living out of the spiritual side. If I continue to live in the wilderness of the UK, if I live continuously in the traditional way of church of life of the humdrum and a position of church, and culture and life and work, I will always be thirsty, I have to go to the one that gives living water and his name is Jesus. His name is Jesus. And we might say, Well, where do I find this? Jesus? He has already found you. He is already with you. So if he's already with me, and he's already found me, why am I still feeling that I am not complete peace? Why am I feeling dry? Why am I feeling very tired? I believe this. Many of us and me may be at the forefront of all this. I need to lay down certain areas of my life and say, Jesus, I want you to guide me. I want you to show me the new the new door that you're opening the new beginning, closed doors or the past open door to the future. Lord, this well of tradition is very dry, and I'm tired of drawing from the same space. I need a new well, he says I will give you living water. It is Christ that gives Living Water Christ is the one that will give the nourishment Christ is the one that will give the fulfilment. Christ is the one that will strength from Christ is our hope. Christ is our future. Christ is our yes and amen. He is our Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah shalom, he is our peace. He is our provider. He is our God. He is our refugee, he is our hope. God is leading you to new beginnings. He is your shepherd. Let him lead. let Him guide let him nurture let Him lead you to new beginnings. There is a well, there is a well, that is brimming there is a well of living water there is a well of hope there is a well of power, there is a well of life there is a world of change, there is a world of hope and peace, there is a well of living word, there is a well there is a spring of life, a new spring, a spring is springing up within you, there is a new beginning within you there is there is there is a break out moment. And that will that has looked the same for year in year out that same workspace, that same cultural place, that same social environment, that same relationship, that same press that same understanding. There is a new beginning for many embrace Christ at the world. See, Christ met her at the traditional meeting place. Christ meets us in the workplace, in the home life in the church press in a stretch of living Christ meets us at our well of tradition. And when he meets us at the world of our tradition, he breaks the monotony of culture, work, live in financial pain, emotional pain. He meets us at our well because we are human. We have an a way that we live the way way that we process the way that we operate, the way that we articulate the way that we understand the way that we have been taught from birth to now, in our adulthood by our adulthood, is being challenged by the way that we was taught by the way that we grew up. By the way the business world taught us by the way, the world of church shaped us, church has shaped us, religion has shaped us. And there is a break out there. There is a breakout in work, people are changing work. People are coming out of the ivory towers. People aren't being moved out of traditional churches. God is moving God is stirring God a God has broken down walls, wall Jericho has fallen. And we can almost see over the rubble of Jericho, but it can be quite frightening to look over the rubble of Jericho. There is a window change in your life. But I just want to encourage you now at this moment, Christ comes to your Well, I don't have the strength to go and find a new well, because I have been birthed through the process of natural human formation. And I have been birthed into a westernized culture, a Pentecostal movement, a church movement, a home life movement, a society where I live, I have that shaping of that as well. And everything around my home and environment and my family, my life, my work my traditional upbringing, my the way that I have been brought into the world. So I have been shaped by many shapers now very interesting. The socials for a long time have been saying something like this drum skin, find yourself an influencer, I got to be careful of a worldly influencer of a social media influencer, because they will shape me in the social shaping. I don't want to be shaped in a social shaping. I want to be shaped in a spiritual shaping. So the world is telling the world to forget yourself an influencer, find an influence influencer on the socials, find this, find them find a motivational speaker find this, find that find someone that will shape you, well, actually, I don't want anybody don't get me wrong. I don't want anybody of the world to shape me. I want my god to shape me. And let me break that down more. I want to be on the potter's wheel. And I want to be shaped by the master be very careful of the influences that we've already got. Because very interestingly, we have all got influences in our lives, that are trying to influence us with their ways of living. And their way of living is not for you to live in the way that you are being required to live. There is a breakout, there is a breakout work gives us an influence line managers and structures and establishments and workplaces and education and certain postcodes and whether we live in social housing or whether we live in private housing, whether we live here or there, wherever we live, it has a influence on how to shape us. Finance tries to influence finance tries to shape us, the world tries to influence us and shape us. But now we have found that the influences of the world and social media and the political influences and the financial influences and all that drum has been broken. Where did it get broken? It physically got and through through our eyesight, it got broken in COVID. We found that establishments and systems of the world broke and was closed. But there was one area there was one place that will never shut down. And that is the kingdom of God. The influences stayed indoors and watch Netflix, the world London shut down and hid behind doors. The church turned the key and went away. So COVID-19 broke so much. It shattered and it broke the influential press on us. Don't go back to being shaped by the shapers of the world. I've got to be shaped by the king, the king that sits at my well The King that speaks to me at my well of tradition, see the well was the influence to this woman, this world was influencing her for too many years. Traditionally, relational ship ways, financially, everything hung on this traditional world. And Jesus said, this well, cannot and will not, it will keep you thirsty. Your culture will keep your Firstly your business will keep you thirsty, your your look for finances will keep you thirsty, education will keep you thirsty. And when I'm talking about first first the, in the in the understanding of, of the flesh, because that Jacob's tradition was not able to fulfill spiritual awakenings. But God is leading you I'm going to finish I'm going to leave it here. I've pushed over the drum skin we're into. We're into 5756 minutes at this moment. So Christ, we'll meet you. And if Christ would remove the scouse, from us at this moment, we will find ourselves sitting at our wells, we have may, we may have many wells in our lives. And I will assure you that Christ is sitting at your well. Because Christ will not reject you have a traditional understanding Christ did not reject her. Because she had five husbands, she had no husband, because she was a traditionalist, because she was looking at Jacob more than she was looking at the eternal God because she was talking about we got everything from this place. He did not reject her. But what he done for her at the well of her life, he gave her freedom. See there is freedom, at the will of tradition. So God is sitting in Christ is sitting, the Holy Spirit is moving in the well of your life. Don't hold on to that world anymore. Take time out tonight, or this morning or the hour wherever you are. Lord, I thank you that you are at this Whoa. of refreshment. You are sitting with me tonight in my wealth amongst my wells around the fabric of my life. Lord, you are walking with me. And Lord, you have probably sat with me more times than I could ever imagine in the world of tradition. But tonight, this morning, this afternoon, wherever you are across the globe, wells, Jacobs welds are being filled in. And as I finish what does this tech say very clear. To me it says this, that she left, she left what she was drawing with at that, well, she left it at Jesus. She left the very instrument that caused her to live traditionally, she left that instrument that vessel at Jesus. Leave it with Christ and walk away and walk away in freedom. Walk away, don't use what you have been so used to drawing with don't don't draw from from that place anymore. Don't leave that bucket Leave, leave that that container leave that it is empty. It is split. It is worn. It is tired. And she said the well is deep. Tradition is deep. It is empty. It is murky, it is murky. So I'm going to leave you now May God bless you and strengthen you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I thank you. But leave that bucket of tradition at the feet of Jesus. The way that we live The way that we used to live, the way that we work the way that we used to work, the way that we think the way that we used to think, leave that bucket, leave that container, lead that vessel at the feet of Jesus. Dust your hands, dust your feet off, and say, Lord, this is a new night. This is a new morning. This is a new day, because this is the day that the Lord has made. I shall rejoice and be glad God bless every one of you. I thank you so much for joining us this evening.
