Let's get straight, let's get straight into the Word of the Lord, Deuteronomy, I'm gonna backtrack a moment, I'm gonna backtrack just for a short while. Gonna go back into the book of Deuteronomy, chapter six, chapter six. And we're going to look at, I'm just Well, I'm not going to look, I'm just going to read out we're going to read out, we're in chapter six, I'm going to read out from verse five, just first five, and then we are going to drop into verse 12. As we gather for communion tonight, as we just sit around the table as we just gather as we beat still. And as we just rest in His presence tonight, wherever you are, I pray that you will just focus on God. And as it says in Hebrews chapter 12, verse to keep your eyes on Jesus, whatever we do in our lives, whatever we are focusing with work with issues, home issues at work, issues in school, education, church, staff, Life staff, whatever is going on in our lives, just focus on Jesus. But we got to be careful in as much that with the world pressing us as believers when we are pressed on every side, as the scripture says, and there are many of you that are pressed on every side, there are many of us that are pressed on every side, whether in work out of work at home, just the general humdrum, and the skipping around of life and everything that goes on with life. When we get hard pressed, I got it. And this is the difficult area of being a believer, I really believe correct me if I'm wrong is that when I'm hard pressed on every side, not so much. I'm not talking about losing salvation, because we know we can't get there. I'm not talking about the salvation side of things. But literally just taking my eyes off of Jesus looking at the crowd, seeing what's going on to the left, seeing what's going on to the right, seeing what's going on. And then underneath in the front of me but not looking up to the hills. The reason i i said looking down is because when I when I looked down, I look at society, when I look up, I look up at Christ. So it can be easy. And it can be an easy position to get into is that when we are pressed on every side, not to keep our eyes on Jesus. I'm not saying that you're not doing that. But what I'm what I'm just trying to say tonight is, is as we come around the table, whatever is going on in life, in home, in marriage, relationships, church, in church, out of church, at home, in the workspace, getting ready for school, getting everything ready for the new educational, academic year, that's coming up for many parents with a stress and the strife that runs with that many children and you all should say young adults getting ready to go to university. So eyes are taken off, you know, in certain areas, just just general life, not taken our salvation off because nothing can separate from the love of God. So we get that we understand that but just with the general press of life, I've got to be careful that that my eyes don't get why would my eyes don't turn to the left, my eyes don't turn to the right. And when I say look forward, looking forward, but looking down at what the world is offering. The Bible makes it very clear nothing can separate from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. So we're not talking about a separation. We're not talking about a separation of spiritual separation. What we're talking about here is just don't forget the Lord Ben. Don't forget the Lord in your workspace. Don't forget the Lord in your relationship. Don't forget the Lord in your general walk in life. Don't forget Get the Lord. And as we look at this is really powerful. This is such a powerful text in verse five of Deuteronomy chapter six, we come into the table, and we just bring everything before the Lord tonight, whether you've got worries or fears or doubts, anxious moments, temptations, whatever it may be going on in life, just bring it to the cross and leave it at the footstool of Jesus Christ because He is your way he is your God He is your King you know let's not look at man let's let's not look at the press of life. Let's not look at the issues of just the general circle of living. But let's keep our eyes on Jesus you know Winter is approaching in the season of winter I'm referring to and I also believe that there is a hardship coming in the area of if I am a Christian if I'm a believer in a hardship and just keep pressing, keep going in well doing keep going in all seasons there are many seasons to a believers life just like the four seasons of of the weather structure just to the general press of life. So wherever you are, keep focused on Christ keep your eyes on Jesus. It's not about coming into the church is not about how many times we're in and out of the building and what I'm doing here there and everywhere. It's about my heart do I do I love this Lord thy God with my entire being or is it head knowledge? Is it just lip service? Do I am I doing it for people sake? Am I doing it for because my family or want me to be a believer? Am I doing it because I want Am I hungry? Am I at this position? I'm at the well tonight as That lady was at the well am I the world because I'm so firstly, I am so firstly I'm almost parched. I'm I'm in desperation for Jesus. But through life through the presses of the issues of life with a humdrum for the circle of living, trying to get through navigate your way through life. This is not about the separation because nothing can separate us. It's not about salvation. It's not about repentance. It's not about the separation from the Father's love. It's about just my general eyes, my my focus my focal point during the press of my life. But this is what this is what is on my heart tonight, verse five, of Deuteronomy, chapter six. So wherever you are across the world, we thank you so much for joining us, everybody online. May God bless you and your house. And may God bless your ministry, your life, your family, whatever you do. In life, I pray that God will just lead you into a greater walk with him. I pray that God will just draw you that God will just draw you to the well if you feel drawn to it. And I pray that God will draw you to the well. Excuse me, I mentioned seasons we are about to dip into the season and the season will be as soon as the darkness starts to drop in the evenings. As soon as the heating goes on, as soon as things change. You know, we're coming out of the sun, the sun is shining, everything looks great and wonderful at the moment. Yeah, people are enjoying the weather. Isn't it wonderful and lovely. But there is that that that weather is depicting the dryness as well. But with a dryness comes a famine with a famine, almost become an uptime of endurance got to be like an athlete or got to keep injuring or could got to keep going to the well I've got to get my refreshment from the well. I've I will let you down, church culture, lifestyle, everything in of this world will let one another's down in many platforms in many areas of life, but the king will not let you down. He will draw you and he will feed you He will strengthen you. He will nurture you and he is doing that right now. If you feel alone tonight, just just hold your place wherever you are tonight. If you feel anxious to know if you feel doubtful tonight, just hold that position that you are in at this moment. And just say Father, in the name, the name above all names strim for me tonight, Lord, I got fear on my life. I'm doubtful tonight. Lord, I'm stressed tonight Lord, it's been a it's been a crazy day to day Lord. It's been a mad few hours helped me Lord to keep me focused. Hebrews chapter 12 verse to keep your eyes on Jesus. This Scripture has been churning and stirring and leading and guiding this house for a long, long time. Keep your eyes on Jesus. Keep your eyes on Jesus. What who is and what is and how is and what may Jesus be about? What a question to ask, Who is this Christ? As the disciples said, Who who is the who is he? He is the Messiah, he is your Savior, He is your God. He is your King. He is your deliverer. He will set the captives free and he loves you unconditionally. But let's just look at this text. Let me stop speaking for a minute and let's just get into this text, verse five of Deuteronomy chapter six. And it says Love the Lord your God. Firstly, he is your God, the God of Israel, of the heavens and the earth. The God of all things that God have to I'm in existence that God have before time in existence before existence, even came into being before Adam and Eve before God created anything that has been created. And let's remind ourselves he created the stars, the heavens, the ocean, he created absolutely everything within the spheres of creation. He created the planets the earth, he's created the weather structure, he is created humanity is created the garden, he has created the angels, he's created everything. And if you believe in the God of Israel, He is your God. So whatever you go through in your life, if we just think of the enormity and the and how big the majesty is, how great and how powerful God is, he spoke this world into being and God said, Let there be and there was. So when I look at my issues, when I look at my life, and I look at my troubles and my failings in my last stretch, and I look at what I what I require to get through the day. It is nothing compared to what he has spoken into being. But I've got to learn to walk by faith. How do I learn to walk by faith? I know what we've just read out Love the Lord your God, love you know, love not the world's love but this Agha pay love this. This this hunger this first? How do I love the Lord discarded I gotta be firstly I've got to, I've got to come to him and say Lord stripped me back, Lord, and once you've stripped me back, Lord, and it is time, Lord, rebuild me Lord, strengthen me with Your love and Your goodness and Your Word, strength for me with your presence, strength for me. And you know that scripture that I mentioned the other the other week and that we've looked at, but we haven't opened up for a long time. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Now that is so easy to quote, Pentecostal style, you know, evangelical preaching and teaching. But we don't do enough of line by line precept teaching, unpacking, we don't do enough. expository preaching, that is an area that needs to be really looked at. But as we go into Bible studies, as we read, as we listen, as we hear God's word, yes, I can shout that as for me, in my house, we shall serve the Lord. But before I serve Him in that capacity in that understanding, that has nothing to do with salvation, but when you look at that, very clear it very clear as for me in my house, we shall serve the Lord but it says, firstly, give over give up, give up, give up, give up the idols, give up the idolatry. Lay down everything in your house, lay down everything, all the force Gods lay down, lay down that then it come because that is a text that you need to work backwards up through. You know, we can read it forward all day. I mean, Lord, I haven't got no idols. But when you know, I'm just throwing this across the mics tonight. So when it comes to this position of chapter six, verse five, Love the Lord your God, because He is your God, with all of your heart. What does that mean? All of my heart, I can't see my heart, I can understand that I've got a muscle of a heart on it moves in it, and it flexes and it keeps this body moving. It keeps me thinking, the heart of a person is so love the Lord thy God with all your innermost being with every fiber of your being, with every area with every blood cell with every vessel with every air, love the Lord thy God with all your heart, and we've all your soul, and we've all your strength. Isn't that interesting? The three areas he says love the Lord thy God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength and Christ in the New Testament he has in there with all your mind as well. So when I look at this scripture here, it's really important that I love the Lord, my God, he's your God. He's my god. He's our God. He's the creator of heaven on earth. He is the King of kings and he is the Lord of lords. Let's be stripped back of everything, stripped back a ministry, strip back a church, strip back a relationship strip back of life, strip back of who we are and what people think about us and just say, Lord, You are my God, and I am a son, or I am a daughter of the living God. And tonight, Lord, I want you to teach me I want you to show me how to lay me down at the cross. But Lord, I want to lay everything down in my life at the cross your footstool. Lord, I want to lay it down tonight, Lord, there are areas within me that I need to lay down, Lord, and I want to love you with everything in my innermost being, Lord, with all my heart, with all my soul with all this invisible soul that is within me all this invisible creation that is invisible to the human eye, but is visible to the living God. That is what is so powerful about our God, he sees the invisible, we only see the temporal we only we only see what we perceive or what is in our Natural Vision. We cannot see into that supernatural position, unless God gives us unless God gives us visions and dreams, but that is only visions and dreams. But when you look at the scripture, God calls the things that are not as though they are. It is God is our supernatural God. And we got to make sure that I just Give my complete being to him, the outside me, the inner me, the thinking me the understanding me, the strength of my myself. I've got to I've got to love the Lord thy God with every fiber of this being the physical fiber. The innermost being that I cannot see that God sees my heart, my, my, everything I've got to present, I've got to come before Him and say, Lord, tonight at the table, Lord of communion, Lord at this table time, Lord, I want to lay it down. I want to lay everything down to you tonight, Lord, and Lord, I just want to follow I just want to walk with you, Lord, I want to learn to journey different in salvation. Lord, I want to learn to journey different, Lord, I want the fear of the Lord, I want the god this wholeness. I am hungry for your your love and your mercy and your goodness, Father, I know that nothing can separate me from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. But Lord, I want to go deeper in my relationship, in my understanding, in my teachings, in my walk in my journey in Christianity, Lord, I want to go further with you tonight. Lord, I want to go deeper. I want to go further, Lord, I want to leave the circle of life. I want to leave the humdrum of everything, Lord, I want to leave all the the grit, the grit, the lights, and the glamour and all the junk that everything is being offered outside. Lord of my body, love wherever we go. And Lord, I just want to follow Jesus, I am at the well are you at the world tonight? Are you at the well? Or are you just like the lady with a love the fact that the New Testament uses to two women, two women, one that had been married five times, and one that had the issue of blood to to demonstrate the hunger, the hunger, the hunger for Jesus, the hunger to be firstly, she comes to the world. And she says give me give me this water, then show me what it is. And then we have the lady with the issue of blood. She says this is it. She spent everything she had had. Jesus comes into town Christ moves in. And she says if I can just touch what an absolute way to be if I can get into His presence and touch the hem of His garment. I believe that as we look at this text, and as we see this, I believe that there there needs to be this hunger in my innermost being. How do we how do we express express this? I'm not talking about expressing it through feelings. I'm not talking about expressing that how can I get myself into this position? If we feel in our lives that we we don't we don't seem to have this all with desire and and we feel we're not quite there. I think it's this simple. Just to pray a prayer and however you pray that but for me, it's a simple prayer like this Lord, I want you more in my life. Lord, I feel empty today. Lord, I feel just not good today, Lord, I I just need you father, remove the temptations remove the fears, remove the doubts, remove the anguish Father, Lord, I know Lord, there are certain elements and areas of my life where you father will tell me that My grace is sufficient for you. And I thank you Lord, that your your your strength floor is made perfect in weakness but father today, tonight as I come to the communion table, Father, I need more of you I don't want to keep looking outside into society. I don't I keep looking over. The grass is greener on the other side of that and I keep looking at the business model of life. I don't want to keep looking farther on the socials don't want to keep looking over here and over there. Lord, I don't want to keep being pressured by the issues of work by by political agendas. Lord, I don't want to get caught in a trap and in a world. Lord, I understand that I've got to live Lord, I've got to do what I've got to do on this Earth Lord as a human being but Lord more than that. I need Jesus. Hebrews chapter 12, verse two, these texts have been really, really coming around now that I believe they are really foundational text. I believe that they are our text to build upon I believe that they are to be built upon, you know, Hebrews, chapter 12 verse to keep your eyes keep your eyes how do I keep my eyes on the invisible Christ? Christ isn't here but he says he will never leave him leave me nor forsake me. i When I look at this word, I look at the written word of God, the Word of Christ. He says I am the Way the Truth and the Life No one comes to the Father except through me. So access to the Father is through the Word who is the word, the word is the living living Christ. John says in one John ran about verse 14. And the Word became flesh, made the swelling among us we understand that it says in the Gospel of John, In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. This book, this Bible, this, this written word, this rhema word, the spoken word, God's word from Genesis to Revelation. It is God to speak into humanity, then we break it down even more. It is God speaking. To me it is Christ speaking to me. God is always speaking, God is always showing. God is always revealing. God is always leading through his word that is the safeguard. But God is not silent. Even though we looked at that the other week, God is not silent because his word is here we have His Word. Everything is packed from Genesis to Revelation. Now, that scripture that I read out, if we could just jump down to verse 12, a moment before we come to the table, verse 12, of Deuteronomy, chapter six, it says, Be careful that you do not forget the Lord. Forget the Lord, you know, it's putting it in layman's terms is put it in, in a word in simple format of humanity to understand what it is saying, don't forget, don't forget when Christ when God spoke to the Israelites, he said, When you come into the land of Canaan, when you come into this land, and I am giving you the Promised Land, when you carry and you see the promises before you're naturalized, don't forget me Don't and what we won't forget, you will, you will forget me because you will, naturally for because of the skin that you're in, you will fall and you will copy. And you will mimic the Scripture says, Do not mimic, do not copy what the Canaanites are doing. We won't do that God, as soon as they went into the promise, you know, before the sundrops, before they, they took their shoes off and a promise before they sat down and had a cup of tea before they moved any further. It was easy to see on the fabric of the text that was written before us in the Old Testament that they forgot the Lord thy God. And God had to deal with them. And God had to bring them back. And God is always bringing us back. Is God always bringing you back? God is always bringing me back. God is always revealing Himself. God through the power of the Holy Spirit is always bringing me to a place of of looking and saying, Father, I'm sorry, I've sinned. I've said the wrong thing. I've done something. I've acted alone, I've come down a cul de sac of life. And I'm sorry, Lord, that I've I've hit four walls. Because I was listening to myself and not listening to you. Because did I forget the Lord thy God, he says, Be careful. Do not forget the Lord thy God who brought you up out of a land of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. Then he says in verse 13, for the Lord, your God, he mentioned this, oh your God, Your God, Your God. Fear the Lord your God, serve him only and take your oath in his name. Serve him only. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and everything else shall be added unto the seeking right now, for a Bible believing believer. Forget religion, forget church going, forget all the humdrum that goes along with ministry and life and everything. A Bible believing believer, I believe in the word of God, it is without error. I believe from Genesis to Revelation, I believe in the fundamental teachings, and the Word of God, I believe in the word of God, but Lord, my human me, is struggling to understand but you will reveal your word to me through revelation or knowledge, because my mind and my study capabilities through revelation or understanding through what I because I can reveal and I can read and I, I can bring myself to a a revelation, but is it a human revelation? Or should I say not a revelation, but maybe an anticipation, and it is very easy to make the word fit into what I want to make it fit. But when I know is from God, God's word will bring me under conviction, it will show me it will lead me it will it will it will guide me or strength for me. So what is really first and foremost in my life is that I seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, got to be careful of Revelation. Revelation comes from God. But there are many people they will tell us that they've had revelation and this is the word for you. But I got to hear from God I God, you've got to speak to me firsthand. You got I need this word. I need it in my heart, Lord, I'm tired of second third fourth hand. Look at Thomas. He said don't tell me any more. What you have seen what you've experienced, whatever you touch them or smell him, held him, walk with Him cuddled him whatever it was. Don't tell me unless I I believe that there are many of us in the Thomas situation than we are in the eye position. Unless I got to I have to and that is the different eye to what we see on a lot of social media and a lot in area of ministry and leadership. It is all about AI it is not Thomas he's not talking about it is either as in love myself up, he is referring to himself as a believer. And he is saying if I have to, he's referring to him his innermost being and the social medias and all that on all the world, when it talks about I, I am I have done, I have achieved look what I have done, this is not the ayah that we are talking about this is he has been completely open and honest and raw, before his church family and saying, I need to see, I need to see, and I believe that we are living in a time when we are I need to see, how will I see this invisible God? How will I see this? The Bible says no one can see God and live? How will I see? How will I? How will I understand that Christ is talking to me? How does? How does this Messiah talk to me? Through the Word of God, he talks to me through the written word of God, how can I see what he has for me through the word How can I understand through the word of God, but I understand but my understanding is shelved. Each and every one of our understanding we are all have different levels and layers of understandings. But God through the power of the Holy Spirit through the power is worth through the power of Christ will reveal God will reveal. So keep reading, keep looking, keep sitting, keep being still. But as we come to the table tonight, I think that within the UK, if we are honest, we may have we may have got to, we may be close to the fringe, the edge of it says be careful that you do not forget the Lord. Do not forget the Lord. I've got to be careful that I do not forget the Lord with the busyness of life, the busyness of church, the busyness of ministry, the busyness of the area of palliative care that I'll work in, I've got to be careful with the busyness of all these different areas that I work, live in moving I've got to be careful through the busy Ness. Why am I busy? What is the purpose of being busy? What is the purpose of work? What is the purpose of career? What is the purpose of family? What is the purpose of life? What is the purpose? Why am I here? The question is why? Why Lord? What is the purpose for this human being? What is the purpose why you've called what is the purpose why I am in this postcode? Why am in his chair, what is the purpose for me online tonight? What is the purpose for me in our family? environment? What is the purpose for my workspace? What is the purpose? The purpose is not to serve Herod, the purpose is not to serve the world. The purpose if I'm thinking the purpose is to gain to store up for myself, treasures on earth treasures on earth. That is not why I've been born and why I have been created. The purpose is is to worship the Lord thy God with all our heart, all my mind, with all my innermost being the purpose is for me to be a worshipper, in spirit and in truth. That's why we have you have we humanity has been created. But then I've got to be careful that I do not forget the Lord. Thy God is not talking about love. It's talking about the mind the mindset, the mentality, the understanding the human race, the human race can get bogged down with life and culture. He's just saying, don't forget, don't forget, might forget to put the bins out I might forget to to do this might forget to do that Mike might forget. But don't forget, you know, for being forgetful is a normal process of the human beings life. when trouble comes in, we look at the area of trouble and fear. When trouble and fear hits the door of your heart or my mind my thinking, my eyesight when fear comes in. The fear seems to accelerate and to quicken me or the fear on the outside of what what what what what if if Lord, help please God. And all of a sudden the focus could be on the fear point, rather on the one that can get me through the issue of life. So the question the question, the question is really clearly, do not allow the culture do not allow the society do not allow. The issues that are around us do not allow the pressures do not allow the environment do not allow everything to allow me and to help me take my eyes. It's just talking about being a human being. But we get so caught up. Well, I'll say some of us, maybe a few of us get caught up being so super spiritual. Oh yeah. Lujah Praise God. Something happens. Our eyes get taken off remembering, remembering we are human. We are the human being and God created us. We have a mind an earthly mind, but I know what the Bible says have the mind of Christ. It is easy to quote the Scripture, it's easy to speak the Bible out, but to live it until walk it, you're on a different layer of life altogether, to speak it until walk it whoa, Lord, that you are really lifting the bar up. Everyone can speak it there is lip service. But then there is action there is there is a difference between lip lip service speaking it. And then and then actually walking, walking in it walking in it. You know, we are human beings, we have been created. How do you know we're human beings because the Bible says, And the Word became flesh, what is flesh, flesh is humanity. Flesh is a human being we are the human race, and God created the human race, human beings. That is very clear. So with humanity, just just being a human being, could I forget the Lord thy God? Could my mind be taken off somewhere else? That's why he says, follow the Lord thy God, we've walked with these areas, with your area of this these areas, he says, with your heart, with your soul, and with your strength, and Christ drops in with your mind saw my heart, the enemy, so if I follow him with the enemy, if I if I follow him with with my fiber of my being, when brain fog, and the natural combustion of my mind, and the elements, the way my mind works, my thinking works, my articulation, my vocabulary, stretch, my my understanding of the natural product, the circle of life. I believe sometimes the church sometimes forget that we are human beings, and we have all sinned and fallen short of His glory. If, if I wasn't a human being, I wouldn't sin and I wouldn't fall, humanity slips and slides on the ice of life. And sometimes we try and culture and society within church settings tries to put us and tell us that you are super spiritual Hang on a moment. Yes, I understand that greater is He that is in me, he is in me. But also, I have this battle I have this, this this, this, this living as a human being and, and I've got to follow Jesus with all my soul with all my mind. With all my innermost being with all my heart with all my strength, I've got to follow him. But when trouble knocks on the front door of life, and the postman drops, saying through the letterbox, or, or the Mayor of London drops a bombshell or the government say this, or they say this, or he says that she says that, or just the circle of life suddenly do I forget the Lord and just the living of life. But it's not talking about the separation, because nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. God loves us. God loves us. When I when I make a good choice, God loves me when I make a bad choice. Because love is unconditional, unconditional love. We see the unconditional love through Christ and Messiah, our Savior, the Savior of the world. And wherever you are tonight, across this world, we're going to break bread together tonight. And I just asked God, tonight, whoever you are, wherever you are, whatever your thinking is, whatever your understanding is, I pray, and I say, Lord, the mind of Christ, that is in very interesting place to be the mind of Christ. It's easy to quote that scripture, but what is the mind of Christ? How does Christ think? The power of the mind, the mind of Christ, the thinking, the understanding, though the way that his thinking is earthly thinking, remembering, it says, had the mind of Christ. There's so much to get from that scripture. There's a lot to understand from that, that can be easily spoken about. But what does it actually mean to have the mind of Christ, an enormous envelope to look into open up the envelope and looking at what is the mind of Christ. But the simple side of the text and just the simple stretch of the text was in Deuteronomy, chapter six. Let's read that again before we come to the table Deuteronomy chapter six, verses five let's revert fine, Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul with all your and with all your strength, and then just drop down just drop down what has been revealed to them at this moment. Be careful, he says, Be careful. Be careful, that you do not forget the Lord who bought you up out of Egypt out of the land of slavery. Lord helped me not to forget you, in just living within the UK helped me Lord not to forget you now. People may take this wrongly and you may take this wrongly it's not that about losing salvation. It's not the separation from God, it is about the human mind just the way the mind thinks the way the mind works. When when pressure when worry and doubt, and the general living as a human being. Yes, as a believer, yes, spirit filled. Yes, I believe in Genesis to Revelation, but loads sometimes I forget, because my mind gets detracted, my mind gets taken over there the the pressure of life, the pressure of, of being the person in the environment that we live in whoever you are to the people around you, to your family, your friends, your workspace, your neighbors, the culture, you're at work at school at life, you know? Can we actually say we are always thinking about Jesus? The mind? What a what a thought at this moment? Am I always am I always, always, always, always thinking about Jesus? Driving, concentrating on the road, focusing at work, concentrate with the children concentrating in life, relationship working and navigating life through. Yes, I understand what I understand the scriptures and we could you could quite easily whack me tonight with loads of scriptures and go Yeah, but the just shall live by faith. Yes, The just shall live by faith. But I've got to understand who I am in Christ. And when I use this word, I have to be very careful when I present this word to us. I've got to know my identity. Now that word has been stripped, ransacked and torn, and thrown out to the dogs in society, identity, who am I in God in Christ in the Holy Spirit, when I come to an understanding of who I am, and I am a wretch, but I am a sinner saved by grace, I am a son of the living God. I believe Genesis to Revelation, I struggle to understand because my mind can only understand what my educational stretch is. But my innermost being is fed by the power of God. So beyond my educational and my academic stretch, becomes revelation or knowledge. So God is with us wherever we are. Lots to pull out tonight lots to, to look at lots to talk about lots to think about lots to pray over, lots to almost ransack the Word of God and open up the open up the light the sack and dive in and go, God, I want this, I want that, pull it all out. But then you've got so much stuff going on why I don't know what to take first what I do, you know, Christianity, Christ in me, Christ is in me. Christ, the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, the deity, the Trinity, the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, the power of God is inside of you. So tonight, as we come to the table, let's just lay everything down at his footstool, whatever it may be. Lay it down at his feet. So Lord, I've forgotten about you today, Lord, because Lord, there was issues, Lord, and I'm not frightened about speaking about that, because I put myself in a position of the Israelites of many in the Word of God. Lord, I forgot you for a moment. But Lord, that's just my mind, my heart is connected. Because nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. So we're connected, we're grafted in. But when it talks about forget, my heart can't forget. Because I'm in I'm grafted I'm in. But my mind works in this natural realm, this, this world before me, my mind or my eyes, or my ears are focused on this natural way of living. See, my heart is always with God. Your heart is always with gone. But the mind can get a little lost, the light in the mind can just go off to the left to the right, can swerve around. But nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. So can I present this to each and every one of us tonight, if I forgotten if I forgotten the Lord, thy God tonight? I'm sorry, Lord. And I come to you tonight. And, Lord, it's been a crazy day. Lord has been a busy Lord, it's been a it's been a day of this and that there may be many there may be 1000s of you that have had a beautiful day with God and hallelujah, and may God bless you and strengthen you in His name, and I thank God that you've been able to do that. But now I'm speaking to those the few that may have been stretched on every level. not shit rack ship wrecks are you beaten, pushed aside, not to the left, not to the right, that are trying to swim for their life almost trying to grapple their way through life, saying to themselves, if I can just touch the hem, but I got to find a way of guarantees him. I know he's hammies over there. But at the moment, I'm here in this box of life. I've got to get to Jesus. So I'm speaking to maybe just one or two, just a few. But I'll put myself out there across this table of honesty tonight and say, Lord, I forgot you today. But you didn't forget me. You didn't take my salvation away best because I was caught in the humdrum of the circle of life. Because your love is unconditional on me, Lord, Lord, I've got detracted today because of life. I got distracted today because I was tired. But lo, my heart is hungry for You. And Lord, I'm thirsty, and I'm thirsty for you, Lord. There's so many strands to Christianity, there are so many strands to humanity, there are so many strands. So the the philosophy the way I think it the way and then I have the academic understanding of it, then I have the logic, then I have the science of it, then I have the mathematics of it, then I have the human side of it, then I have the fear side of it, then I have the joy. I know that he lives. I know that I know that I know that I know that my Redeemer lives and because he lives I can face tomorrow. Should we take this bread? Should we take this cup if you're still with me tonight? Put your thumbs up if you're there, you know, just just just give them a price and I just say thank you God. Thank you God. Thank You Lord, I live my heart to you tonight. Lord, I lift Lord if if I can do that, Lord, is that just a verbal exercise? Is that just a academic stretch or reasoning in my being Lord, I speak it but Lord, can you lift me up tonight? Can you lift me up Lord I see a fam that God bless you my brother. God bless all those God bless all those. Lord, I forgot you today because the kids drove me crackers. Lord, I forgot you for a moment because the laptop just blew up. I forgot you today law because I was on that M 25 of life. Lord, I forgot you today law because I fell asleep. I forgot you today law because I was rushing around law that I forgot you because I was busy. But Lord, I thank you, Jesus, that you don't forget me. You don't forget me. God sees the busyness. See, God sees the stretch of our lives. God nurtures us, God leads us. You know what God carries us when we're busy and tired? He doesn't turn that that I forgot. He doesn't go off. Oh, sorry, Ben, I forgot you. Because He lives within God is with thee. He does not forget you. Whoever you are, he does not forget you. The cross The cross, Christ. Cry Christ died for us. Let's be encouraging. Let's be encouraging tonight. encourage our brothers and our sisters. Because let's let's face the facts of life. Let's face the facts, the biblical life that we understand we are living in hajus stressful times as a human race. But as believers, first and foremost we are believers. And we are living as humanity, but saved by grace washed in the blood of Jesus. You know what? Whoever you are with me tonight, and whoever will capture this later. God has not forgot you. I believe that I feel that God is not leaving you. God will not leave you. No matter how many times I throw my toys out of the pram of Christianity. I kick it over. I throw it out. I chuck my hands in the air. He loves all of us, and He loves me and he loves you. Whatever your circumstances are. Let's just lay it down tonight the cross. Let's be encouragers let's nurture. Let's encourage that speak the word let's God open this word up to me, Lord, because I don't want to stay in the forgetful thinking of just my mind. Because nothing can separate me from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. I can't be separated from his love. But my mind is of the earth suit my philosophy my thinking. My education is all what the world gives me and presents to me And the way that I educate myself and the way that I live life there are, there are certain skills that we have created and we are, we have been given from on hire, but there are certain skills that we are able to work with and adapt with. And we are taught as human beings, you know, you Johnny got a look in the Word of God, how it our, how is taught that the shepherd in you know, when you look at Shepherd and and you look at fishing, that was their trade, it was taught through the generations. So there are areas of life that we teach each other through life, there are elements of living that we teach our generations, our family, the audience before us. So we are all taught something. So through the teaching, and through the thinking, it proves that we are just human beings, that we are just brothers and sisters, we are man, a woman we are children of the living God, first and foremost, we are saved by grace. But we've got to live. But we got to live by faith. So as we come to the table, to the cross, wherever you are, across this earth, I'm just going to let you know again. God loves you. God loves you. And I don't know who you are. And I don't know what you've been up to today. And I don't know what you've been thinking or how you're thinking. But you know what? God loves you. Because the Bible tells me so. And I got to be careful with the strap lines because the Bible tells me so, because of John 316. And you are saved, however I I feel about myself feelings or however I I think about myself, see feelings and thinking and attitude is not of the kingdom of God. It is of this natural world that I live in, that we live in. So we have natural thoughts, we have earthly thoughts, we have thinking, we have a mind that is a powerful instrument, a powerful vessel of retaining information so clever, so powerful, but it is limited. Because the mind cannot follow the body cannot follow. The flesh cannot follow it is in the innermost being. So I've said it 1000 times tonight that's it, we're coming to the table. So that let's let's just ask God, wherever you are, whoever you are, I thank God for whoever they are, and wherever they are, and for those that join us across the world, and we know that so far there is we just break bread together, which is break this bread together, Lord, and say, I thank you, that you dwell, that you live within me, Lord, that you are in us that You created us below my mind my thinking, my understanding maybe just the tiredness of living Lord has taken me a little bit way would bring me to a place Lord, bring me to a place load or have rest of peace bring me to a place Lord, where I can sit tonight or work or drive whatever I'm doing. I can just sit back just for a snapshot a moment and go thank you God. Thank you God. I also believe very quickly that we over engineer we overthink we over anticipate that because a lot of our lives is through anticipation or through feelings through stretching through humanity through what we are taught the robotic living way that we do so got to be careful of of the I don't over engineer and how do I over engineer it's my mind and my thinking and sometimes that can be a trap that that can almost make I can make a snare for myself. Nothing to do with the devil nothing to do with spiritual atmosphere be the spiritual onslaught that's out there nothing to do with that. But to do with just me over engineering overthinking Oh, oh over feeling over over anticipating over stretching over when I shouldn't be stretching over. I should be looking Father help me. Help me not to analyze everything so much. It causes confusion helped me just the belief helped me to relax more in life helped me to suppose more in life so fathers I break bread now. In the mighty name of Jesus with anyone whoever's out there online, touch their hearts. Let the joy of the Lord be their strength. But Father I thank you that this bread symbolizes the body of Christ that was broken for me. In Jesus name, Amen. You know, over engineering you've only got to look at certain areas of construction, the building industry Certain areas of business certain areas of life, certain areas of risk assessment, certain areas or policies, certain areas of systems over engineered, and when something is over engineered, it is over fault. It is going beyond understanding. It is leaving the simple side of what we should be looking at. And through over engineering and overthinking and over stretching. We've gone beyond and suddenly we've left what we started out at behind us. And suddenly it's become something that it shouldn't really be. So Lord help me not to over engineer, my thinking, my understanding my skill set as a as a human being helped me not to over engineer so tonight, Lord, help me not to complicate the Passover helped me not to make it complicated, because Church and the over engineering of it and the overstretching it has turned it in certain layers of religion into something that doesn't mean what it should biblically mean. So Lord, help me Lord, bring me back, launch, strip back, strip back the over engineering of everything, Lord, and help me just to believe, because Lord, I don't wanna over engineer everything. I don't want to Lord go over over overlord and then suddenly lose the understanding of what I'm actually doing. So Jesus just said this, as often, as you come together, Do this in remembrance of me. Now, if we was to do a study or a podcast or sermonizing, on what religion and church has done, and has thought, and has taken off, now we have to use the word Passover, because this is what we are doing the passing over, then it has made it Easter, it has turned into something more, more more, that isn't actually biblical, where a man says, You cannot take that. So we've got to be careful, even within the springboard of what God and Christ has given us through the word of God, I got to be careful that I don't dive off and over that and start over engineering, because that's what religion does it, it doesn't look at the basic fundamental points of of the teachings of Christ, it will take that it will bounce with that for a while, and then it will swim off, it will swim off, and it will build something that it shouldn't have even build. It is over engineered. It has created something that shouldn't even be touched. So what we are looking at the church and adapt it, the the church shouldn't shape it. Because Jesus says it's so simple, as often as you'd come together, break bread and take the cup. And do this in remembrance of me. That is it. No pomp, no ceremony, no swinging of incense, no shouting, no hollering, no kick in and fast. No great big procession, no drumbeat, no loud and shouting, Jesus just said. And when you take this, remember, this is my body that was broken for you. This cup is a no covenant in remembrance of me. This blood is in remembrance of me and do this in remembrance of me. So Lord, I'm doing this in Jesus. I'm doing this in the Word of God. And Lord, help me not to overthink, Lord because you tell me to come to you, with all the burdens with all the stress all the strain. And Lord I'm laying out the cross and helped me to understand what it means to lay the cross. Watch me in the Crimson Tide washed me in the blood washed me in the blood. Wash me lord. thank you in Jesus name. Amen were there were there were there were there were there wherever you are tonight I just pray that you will just resting Christ be still know that He is God all these all these scriptures that we can quote quite easily but what does it actually mean to do that? Come to me all of you the word What does What do you mean God? That is a big thing to do when you take that on its own come to walk to to present yourself to to, to lay it down just to rest in Him. So wherever you are tonight I pray that you just find a place of rest in him that you find a place of stability. And it's very difficult to find a place of stability when society is moving and shaking and snapping and falling and crumbling. But he has put our feet upon what he has put our feet upon the rock. So we're already on the rock. He's already our foundation. So we're already on the foundation. We're already on we were already in and we're on. We're on. There are many building around on sand. Don't worry what anyone else is doing. Just thank God that we are on the rock. You are on the rock. I am on the rock, your feet are under a rock. The scripture says you have given us the feet fitted with the readiness of like a deer to hold on to the rock face to hold on to the rock. God bless you. Rest in Him. God is with you never give up hope. And we thank God that you are with us tonight. Have a wonderful evening whatever is left, on your your evening and your timezone wherever you are across the earth.
