Reverend Ben Cooper:

And we're able to communicate through the great power of technology. And for those that have joined us here. At this moment in time, never give up, there's always hope, there's always hope. And for those that joined, joined our live stream service yesterday, we was in the Old Testament in the book of one Samuel, chapter 17, where it was looking at David and Goliath, but not so much just the David and Goliath situation, that big battle that went on there. But regarding his brothers, his family situation, what his father was asking him to do, and so much more came from that yesterday. But tonight, we're just going to stretch ourselves, we're going to stretch our legs, and we're gonna go into Psalms. Let's go to Psalms 62. If you're there, and you want to join me tonight in the Scripture, Let's stretch our legs and our hearts. And let's walk into Psalm 62. And we're coming from verse five. So wherever you are, we thank you so much, you can hear us on Alexa. And also, you can catch us on I Heart Radio. You can get us through Buzzsprout, Spotify, and Amazon music and all those podcasting platforms and crossed a few social networks at this moment in time. So let's just stand let's just rest let's be still wherever you are. If you're out if you're on holiday, if you're in the air flying if you're on the other side of the world. Good evening, and God bless you, but it is 734 as we just do this live stream this broadcast. So we're in verse five, we're in verse five of Psalm 62. So let's just grab ourselves a Bible. And as we said, if you need a Bible, please just message us and we will get a word to you. We've got a few out. So we've got a few coming in and a few going out. So let's just stretch ourselves and go into Psalm 62, verse five, if anyone wants to rest, and if anyone is looking for peace tonight, turn to Psalm 62. And we're in verse five, from verse five through to Verse eight, God will guide you and God is leading you. But sometimes it can be quite fearful. And it can be quite unusual to be sitting in the times that we're in and we got everything happening in number 10 Downing Street at the moment, and all the bells and whistles and all the ifs and buts. And I will do and we will make sure and you will get and you'll have this How many times have we heard, but we don't do Politik political agendas here. But we have to look at what the Bible says, and what the world is doing. And we just bring and look at what's going on how the Bible clearly tells us in the last days, this will happen, that will happen. And what we are seeing is not because of any political agenda, but because the word of God has told us very clearly what it will be like, the signs in the times the signal points, the areas to look out for the political agenda, the finance markets, the the crash in other markets, everything that's going on the cashless society that we are accelerating up to at this point that we are clicking into this, this place where we are reaching very, very quickly this cashless society where everything is just done so quickly on, on card and everything. But let's just get straight into the scriptures, right, we're in we are there I think there's enough of us joining this evening. That's just that's just pushing and if anyone wants to put the scriptures up, please, please, please do so. Psalm 6362, verse five through two a and it says, yes, my soul finds rest in God, my hope comes from Him. Truly, here's my rock and my salvation. Here is my fortress. I shall not be shaken. My salvation and honor depend on God. He is my mighty rock, my refuge, trust in him at all times. You people pour out your hearts to Him. For God is our refuge very relevant for where we sit today within the globe within the UK and as we break bread together tonight as we just take this carpet as we'd be still and rest in His presence. Yes, there's a lot happening across the political agenda. There's a lot happening in the world. There's a lot happening in business. There's a lot happening, you know, the traffic back to normal. The children are Back to School University is rolling. Education is rolling. We're back in the humdrum the summer holidays are starting to disappear in the dust got a day. And we're getting back in this routine, you know about a glorious, enormous amount of heat this this summer all the way through are, you know, and it's been beautiful, the sun's been out. But there is a change in direction, not just in the season of nature, but also in the season in which we live. So if you are fearful, we got the price caps happening. We got the energy companies saying this, we got the government promising that we got this new leader coming into position into power. But I got to make sure that my thinking and my focus is continuously on Jesus Christ, my rest, and my hope comes from the King of glory. And I just want to encourage you tonight, to trust in the everlasting arms of the Father, he is your God, He is your King, he will make your way where there seems to be no way try. It's difficult. It's easy to say this from from this side of the lens and I, I got to try not to worry about the price caps, the fuel crisis, the limiting stretch of things that's happening around, you know, the issues of life, the kids going back to school, the pressures of work, the pressures of living, just the general humdrum, the circle of life that we're in. But I want to encourage you tonight to turn to the Psalm, and in verse five of Psalm 62 says, yes, my soul finds rest in God, my innermost being the complete me the enemy, that not the flesh me, I've got to be careful that the flesh me doesn't drive the enemy. I've got to make sure that the enemy that God the God, the mean, the word of God, that isn't me, Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. I just gotta allow myself to go by faith again. Isn't it easy to say this stuff? Isn't it easy to quote, the Scripture isn't easy to shout on Halloween, to dance and to do everything, you know, and to say this sort of stuff, but to actually live by faith, to trust Him, we got all this noise coming out of the political areas, we've got all the noise coming out of the world, we've got this happening, that happening. You know, we're lacking certain things in the UK, we're lacking this, we're lacking that you know, and what we need and we're looking for that that leader that is going to be put in that position that's going to help us then Universal Credit, help us with the taxation, help us with the fuel Christ help us with the food poverty situation we're looking, and I've got to be careful that I don't keep my eyes on earthly leaders. I don't keep my eyes on humanity. But I keep my eyes on Jesus, I keep my eyes on the King of kings and Lord of lords. If I turn into Hebrews chapter 12, verse two, it says, fix your eyes. I've got to fix I got to fix my focus. I've got to look straight ahead of me. I've got to keep in the Word of God, I got to keep focus, I got a, I know this. This is a given. This is a given for your scripture. The scripture says that he puts our feet upon the rock we are standing on the rock. So he actually we could say cement says he fixes us on the rock. So we are building on good soil we are building on good ground we are building on the rock. When I say soil, I'm referring to the rock. I'm not referring to the sand of life. When the streams came in, and the streams rose and the rain came down and beat against that house. We are at this position where every household is being beaten from the east, the West, the South, and the North on every four sides of our home. It feels like we are being beaten and we are being almost engulfed and swallowed up by the financial pressure. The unit Universal Credit issue, it's not stretching the pensions, not stretching, my finances, not stretching, I've got one job, I got two jobs, I'm working three jobs. I've got a part time job here, I got another part time job there. And I'm doing this, I'm doing that. And I'm stretched though. I'm in social housing, and I'm waiting for a move and went for a transfer and worried about the mortgage payment and worried about putting food on the table, the freezers empty, the fridges bear all that sort of stuff. The tables are dry. You know, I just want to encourage you tonight never give up hope. Never give up you know, I can put too much strength in the physical world that is before me. And not trusting in the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Because God is beyond God is above and beneath God is around God is within. So I keep my eyes on Jesus, whether we're on Universal Credit wherever in social housing, private housing robbing, we're rent in non-reading, however we're being looked after whatever our humanity is, and what I mean by that what is our human stretch across this globe, wherever we are, whoever we are, whatever we look like however we walk on this Earth God is with you. And I pray right now that we will not look at our pensions we will not look at the Universal Credit. We will not look at the wages we will not look at the bills at the end of the month and come to a natural mathematics equation without the calculator and thinking that don't fit with that. I can't stretch that to that. I got to pull that in there. I've got to I've got to make that fit till I get to that calendar date in the month because if that don't stretch this don't happen and that won't happen. I want to encourage you right now to keep your eyes on Jesus. Hebrews chapter 12, verse two, I've mentioned this a lot through lockdown. I've spent time in this psalm that we're in at this moment, but I feel it's very relevant for me and for you, wherever you are tonight. Let's not allow the system that political agenda in the world to get us down to make us feel downtrodden. There's a lot happening in number 10 Downing Street, there's a lot there's a big press, we're going to help you we're going to help you we're going to help you, but actually my hope and my faith and my salvation, and my hope, and everything lies in the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Your your God and my God he will not allow the righteous to be beggars of bread, he will he'll he will guide he will strengthen, he will lead he will nurture He will chastise he will strengthen, he will make away with there seems to be no way he will open the River Jordan up he will open the Red Sea up he will. He will tear down walls of Jericho, he will also allow us to go right the way into the battlefield. Because the battle belongs to the Lord, the battles of life, whatever we are battling whatever we are facing, whatever we may be frightened of in our lives, never give up. But we cannot focus on the earthly news. We cannot focus on the media. We cannot allow our natural, physical, physical self to get so caught in the Natural News across the earth. Because the Natural News is driven by a different agenda. It feeds us it wants to control us through news channels for for drip feeding us for almost panic buying for all that sort of stuff. But I want to let you know tonight Your God is with you. He will show you He will make away with there seems to be no way. And as we have a look, have we? So let's have a look. Let's let's see what the scripture says. And we're in Psalm 62, verse five. And it says yes, my soul, my inner most being my soul finds rest in God, the God of Israel, the God that put the stars in the heavens, the God that said, I am, that I am the God that brought Adam from the dust of the earth, the God that created Eve from the rib of his side, the God that put the stars in the heavens, the God above all gods is your God, and He loves you beyond human understanding. And it says yes, the Psalmist is so clear. He is writing so powerfully, he's making expression from his innermost being that I have reached this level, I've reached this platform. I've reached this stage in my life where I can say yes, yes, my soul finds rest in God. And my hope comes from Him. God is hope. God is everything. The streams may be rising, the sea level may be lifting, you know, everything may be coming against us. The rain may be beating at the front door. Maybe you've had a bad few weeks, a bad month, maybe you've been going through the valley of the shadow of death, but God is with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. So let's get this in our spirit. Let's get this on on our on our lips. Let's get this in our voice box. Let's just quote this word. Let's speak this word. And when when I say this, I got to be careful not to be pushing like an evangelical preacher, Pastor leader and all that. But just to say, let me I'm going to speak this over our lives our lives we pray that we speak the word not because the Pentecostal movement, the evangelical movement, or their the way would movements out there, I say name it and claim it. I'm not talking about naming and claiming it. What I'm saying is that faith comes from hearing the message and a message is heard through the word of God. I'm not speaking like a motivational pastor. I'm not speaking like someone that is pushing the prosperity drum. I'm speaking as a son of the living God, because the Bible says faith comes from hearing, how do I hear? I hear God's word through. Bringing it out from my innermost being my eyes see on the fabric of the page, I read it, I speak it. And as I read it, and as I speak it and as my voice box produces it as the airwaves and as my my innermost being pushes the Word of God up out, and my ears hear what happens. faith comes from hearing, hearing the Word of God, so is not naming and claiming it is not putting that pen to paper and shouting Thank You, Jesus. Hallelujah. Yes, father, there's 1000 quid in my bank in the name of Jesus, Lord, I'm not speaking like that whatsoever. What I am saying is faith comes from hearing so I I've got to hear, how do I hear? I speak it with the sound waves with the the pressure of voice with everything that an hour God has created our voice box, our innermost being. So when I read this song, this is really important. Yes, my soul finds rest in God, my hope comes from Him. Truly He is my rock, and my salvation. He is my fortress, I shall not be shaken. Let's stand on God. Strange, sane, strange way to present that, but you aren't we understand for the English language, what that means? Let's stand on the Word. Just believe. What did Jesus say? Just believe I've just seen that come out on the socials, very relevant, just believe, just believe. Just believe. I got to be careful that I don't believe what is coming out of the political angles don't attach myself to what is coming out. Because if I attach myself to the sound waves of the political movement, if I attach myself to the sound waves and the voice of the world, I can easily get caught in fear. But if I, if I get in the Word of God, what happens is it's the opposite to fear. It's faith. Yes, I will have a wobble. Yes, I will be just like the disciples in the New Testament that took their eyes off of Jesus and, and I sank in the storm. But he stretched out his right arm and he picked me up. And he said, Oh, ye of little faith. That's fine. Thank you, Lord, for alerting me that I lacked faith for a moment. But faith comes from hearing, hearing the word here in the message. So faith is is lifted, faith is nurtured. Faith is strengthened. Faith is almost turned over faith grows, when I hear the word. So I want to encourage you tonight to maybe get yourself a scripture, get yourself a few verses, put it on on one of your devices, print it out, put it on your fridge, put it on your doorway, put it anywhere you go to the most mind is the fridge, put it on there, get yourself a few verses, maybe pick this one here. You know, Psalm 62, verses five through to seven. It's a nice Psalm. It's an easy Psalm. I can remember it. But I got to be careful, I don't leave everything to memory. Because when I leave it to memory, I'm leaving it to my natural me to remember it. But I want to read it from my innermost being, I want to read it from the depth of my gut, I want to read it from the depth from my belly, I want to read it, I want to read it from within. I don't want to read it on external way. I want to have it on a tablet of my heart. Because that's what the Bible says put the word of God on the tablet of your heart of it stamped stamped within, you know, I don't need it out there. There's so many people with the knowledge with with with great educational skills with with great understanding with great learning with great thinking. It's up here. But there is a disconnect to here. It's no good having it up here and not having it here. We've got to have it right in our innermost being. I've got to have the word on the tablet of my heart. How do I get the word in? I read it, I read it, I read it, I put it over the devices. I hear it through the Alexa's, I hear it through the through the sound, I've got to get the word of God through the computer, fruit, a fruit of devices, I gotta get the word. I read it. And as I read it, I speak it out. And as I speak it out. It's producing a noise Well, obviously, because that's what speech does. But as I produce the noise, I am hearing what God's Word says. So that is a very big part of my faith walk to understand that faith comes from hearing and hearing the message here in the Word of God. So I need to hear and as I hear the word as I read the word as I read it out, whether it comes from the devices, whether it comes from my voice box, I've got to I've got to present it I've got to lift it I've got to I've got to hear it. So it goes in through my air gate and it goes in through my gate, as I read it. So it was strength for me it was strength for me it was strength for me. Faith arises, Faith stirs faith, faith, faith is is within. So let's let's have a look at the scriptures. We're coming to the table very, very soon. It says yes, my soul finds rest in God. My hope comes from Him. Truly He is my rock and my salvation. He is my fortress. I will not be shaken. The stones are blowing. The sun is disappearing. The season is changing. Isn't it interesting as we are going into a very unusual season financially, the season is hitting as well. And the predictions that the weather could be a harsh weather that could be coming across this land. I find this very interesting that the weather is depicting the spiritual path presence and the move of the spiritual activities and everything that's going on. So yes, the days are getting shorter the daylight days. But yes, also the days are getting shorter to the kings return. Yes, the days are getting darker, naturally because of the daylight. But yes, the days are getting darker because it is the end of time. So there is a king there, the king is on his way. But why they've got to make sure is that as I understand where we sit through the Book of Revelations Thessalonians, through the prophetic speech and language of the Old Testament, I've got to understand also, that I need to feed myself the Word of God, I've got to get it in through my gate. I've got to get it into my air gate. And as I read this word, you know, and as I read it, what do I do? I focus on Jesus, I focus, because he is the living word. He is the great I AM, the Bible says and the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us, The Word became flesh. The Scripture says in John chapter one, in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. So as I read the Word, the Word is God, the Word was God, the word is Christ, Christ is the living word. And the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. So literally, as I look at the word I'm looking in to the plan of the Almighty God, into the heart of Christ into the presence of God. So as I read the word as I speak the word, I'm in his presence, and maybe I want to sing the Psalms, I may want to speak the word and get the word into the tablet of my heart, through my I gate, through my air gate, and get it in, in my innermost being. Because the Bible says, out of your belly, shall flow rivers rivers, of living water, out of the enemy, from the very dark from the very, the soul, from the innermost being of me, out of your belly shall flow, rivers of living water, rivers of life, the word will flow, get the word on the tablet of your heart, get this straight and get this straight in, get it right into the very depth faith. Faith comes from hearing the message and the message is heard through the word of God. So as I pronounced the word as I speak the word as I read the word as I elevate the word and and what I mean by Elevate is to bring it up out of my innermost being, as I speak the word, I hear it, and I, as I hear it, I hear what God is saying to me, and to you. So I hear God through the written word for the rhema word for the spoken word, through the word of God, as I read, I hear what God has to say about you. What God has to say about me. And not only that my faith grows, my faith lifts my, my faith is edified. My my innermost being is strengthened, and as my innermost being is strengthened, my faith is strengthened as my faith is strengthened. I don't live as much by the flesh because the flesh is the battle. The flesh is the one that we are wrestling, almost there's two of us there's the spiritual loss and as as the great apostle writes a wretched man am I why do I do the things I hate? And I can't do the things that I know that I should do. So there's there's two means that the spiritual mean, there's a freshly me and I'm in the ring most of the day with myself wrestling myself trying to get myself straight, trying to focus, but I can't get myself straight, but I will get my self physically strong and straight, because greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. So when I keep my eyes on Hebrews, chapter 12 verse to keep your eyes on Jesus, keep your eyes how do I keep my eyes on Jesus? Everything that I've been saying, I keep my eyes on Jesus by by literally reading the Word. In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God. The same gospel, the gospel writer writes very clearly, roundabout, verse 14, checkmate, because I can't remember that to memory. John, chapter one ran about verse 14, you just have to check that and the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. Christ is the image of the invisible God, as it says in Colossians, as we've looked at many times, so as I read the Word, and as I look at the word, I'm looking at the word of God, and the Word of God is Christ and the Word became flesh, and made his dwelling among us and as I read it, I hear what God's word is, to me. So as I pronounce it, as I lift it, as I, as I speak it as I express it, as I verbalize it, Faith starts to grow as my face starts to grow. My flesh isn't fed by the lust of the world, the pride of the eyes, the pride of life, the arrogance of my humanity, but I get fed the Word of God As I get fed the Word of God, as I get strengthened in the Word of God, I suddenly start to find that there are glimmers of light in the darkness, Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. The scripture says He is the light of the world. We understand through science and sighted science sorry, and great studying and great learning and great thinking, and the processing of life that that darkness only exists because the absence of light is not in that but as soon as light shows up, darkness fades, darkness seems to disappear. Jesus says, I am the light of the world. Psalm 119, clearly tells us Your word is a lamp unto my feet, a light for my path, he is your rock, he is your light, he is your God, He is your King, he is your great I am He is worthy of all praise. And whatever the the energy crisis may be, whatever the food crisis may be, whatever the political breath and whatever the the sound waves that are coming out of London tonight, do not allow what is coming out to control you. Because that is not what you are about. You are a child of the living God, you belong to the kingdom and the living God. Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. perfect love drives out all fear. His love is pure. His love is right. He is with you. He is your God, and He is your King. I got to take my eyes off the new leader of the nation. I got to take my eyes and my ears off the political drum. I've got to take my eyes off of the news. I got to take my eyes off of what is happening. And I focus I keep my eyes. I keep my eyes on Jesus. How do we keep our eyes on Jesus? I read because this is Christ. This is the word. This is the Word of God. This is my this is my everything. This is my life manual. This is my this is the word of God. This is my food. This is my strength. This is my deliver. This is the glory. This is the power. This word is God speaking to us, Christ speaking to you. The word is your strength. Let's read again as we come to the table, as time is quickening as it always does. The enemy that we have is the clock against us. Psalm 62 Verse five, yes, my soul finds rest in God. My hope comes from Him. Truly He is my rock and my salvation. He is my fortress, I shall not be shaken. My salvation and honor the ponds depended on God. He is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times. Come on, Lord, You people pour out your hearts to Him. For God is our refuge very interest in verse eight of Psalm. Where are we Psalm 62, verse eight, trust in him at all times, trust in Christ, trust in the word, trust in what it says, you know, and that that takes faith. What is faith? Faith comes from hearing a message and the message is heard through the word of God. So my faith is strengthened. My faith arises my faith is quickened, my faith is refreshed, my faith comes out. My faith is everything, because my faith and my trust. Now Hebrews chapter 11, and we don't have time to turn now. Hebrews chapter 11, verse one, maybe someone could grab that off of offer the older tin Annette and grab that for us and put that up on the socials. Hebrews chapter 11, verse one. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen, that just blows the socks off for me at this moment in time, that is just absolutely so powerful. And let's remember what the scripture says also, we serve a God that cause the things that are not as though they are, he calls the things that are not as though they are, he speaks light, and light becomes light. He separates the light from the darkness. And it becomes he speaks stars into positions. He speaks the universe and it pops into place. He speaks and the world moves, he speaks and the sun suddenly shines, he speaks and everything moves as he speaks, the Earth, the atoms, everything moves at the sound of his voice. So let's just remind ourselves as we come to the table, we serve a God that cause the things that are not as though they are Hebrews 11 verse one. Now faith is the sub sense of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. The just shall live by faith. I don't live by sight. But I am living in a world that everything is gauged by what I see in front of me, by measures and performance, and by academics and by what I have in my visual understanding, and my preset, and everything that is before me. Everything that I see before me is what I have in this world now. But I got to understand that there is more to this world than what we see with our eyes. Because there is that spiritual place, there is that place beyond what the human eye can see. There is that place that God is working, where God is moving, there is that place, that area where Christ is where the Holy Spirit is, His presence is that is that place where we put our faith in. The Scripture says, No one can see God and live. The Scripture says, Christ is the image of the invisible God, and he made his dwelling among us, God is with you, or power or authority, or sovereign power and glory belongs to the great I AM. We're coming to the table. I'm just going to read the psalm again. Psalm 62, verse five, through two, eight as we break bread together. So that gives us about three or four minutes just to grab ourselves some bread to grab ourselves some wine, some grape juice, whatever whatever it might be. I got to be careful. You know, I can say the wrong things. I sorry, sometimes. Right? Let's go. Let's get into Psalm. Psalm 62, verse five, yes, my soul finds rest in God. My hope comes from Him. Truly, He is my rock and my salvation. He is my fortress, I shall not be shaken. My salvation and honor depend on God. He is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times you people, pour out your hearts to Him, for God is our refuge. God is our refuge. Let's gather around the table. Let's focus on the Word of God. The scriptures have been spoken, the scriptures have been written, the scriptures have been lifted out of of our voices, you're hearing it for the socials. You might have it on in the background. So the word of God is alive and sharper than a double edged sword. So Father, as we come together tonight for these moments, Lord, as we break bread together in the name of Jesus, the greatest name in heaven on earth, and at the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow, on the earth, under the earth through the earth and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. He is your Lord, He is your God. He is your King. Here's your Jehovah. Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah shalom, Jehovah, Nissi Jehovah Rapha, he is your peace. He is your provider, he is your yes and amen. He is everything he is your all in all, he is your God. He is not worried about the price caps. He is not worried. Who says they own that who owns who say they own the aisle. He's not worried, who says that we own the pipeline, because God will make a way because he owns the cattle 1000 cattle on the hillside, he owns the roof, he created the roof, the gas is only in position, because he spoke to gas into being the electric only exists because he gave the capabilities to a great thinker, and a great scientists and a great person that worked their way out and created and understood the reality of relativity, and electric and science and created and that is only been created because God has dropped the skill. But God is God is the supplier of the electric. God is the supplier of the gas. God is the supplier of of all the minerals in the earth. God is the supplier so God is always supplying the energy companies are just robbing God. Lord hallelujah, they don't own anything. They don't own it because God has produced it. And God will deliver the gas to the boiler. God will deliver the electric to the meter. And the Bible says and he's speaking to me tonight. Oh ye of little faith, do not look at number 10 Do not put your weight on what is happening in the political areas. Do not listen to the energy companies because they think that they own that they They do not own that God owns God created. Everything belongs to God, if He is this God, and He is that God, and he owns everything, He created everything. So he is everything that I need. God is with us. But let's break bread together. Father, we thank You, Lord, that You sent Your Son, the Father sent His Son, to die upon the cross of Calvary for me and for you. And right now, Lord, help me to rest in the everlasting arms of the Father, Lord helped me to come away from what the world is saying, and helped me to keep my eyes on Hebrews 12, to the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Old and the New Testament, helped me rest in the Scripture tonight. Lord, I thank you that the world is going to do what they're gonna do, Lord, that the world is always trading. The world is always saying it owns this, and it owns that. But God created what the world thinks that it owns. They don't own anything. God is with you. God is the King above all kings. So let's break bread together. Now. In the name of Jesus, Father, we break bread together, we gather around the cup and the communion table. And tonight, Lord, we thank You that we clearly understand that this bread symbolizes the body, this, this. This bread is symbolic, to the body of Christ. And as I pause and as I think, as I calm as I rest, as I be still, I thank you that this this bread symbolizes the body of Christ. And as I break bread together tonight, Lord, I break this Lord. And the reason I break it is because Christ's body was broken. And as I break that bread, I remember the body of Christ was broken for me, went to the cross of Calvary from me. So thank you, Jesus, in the wonderful name of the great I Am in Jesus name, amen. Thank you, Jesus. I'm leaning as think of them beautiful, old hymns that are out there, leaning in the arms, you know, being in God being in Christ. You know, the Scripture. I'm leaning in as the disciple did around the communion table. It says that he leaned into Jesus. And I believe Christ is calling you and me tonight, to lean into him to lean out of the political persuasion, to lean out of the economic nomics. To lean out of the business markets, to lean out of science to lean out of the mathematics of life, to lean out of philosophies and thinkings to lean out and to lean away from that. But to lean into Jesus, the Scripture says, that disciple leaned into the bosom of Christ, and lean into Jesus because as I lean into him, I'm taking the weight off of my feet, I'm taking and putting my complete weight in Jesus, I'm putting myself my complete body weight, my complete well being, that word, I struggle with that word at the moment, I put my complete life in the hands of Christ, lean in to Jesus, lean into Christ, lean in his arms. You know, the Scripture says, The righteous run into him, because he is that strong tower. Remember that great him that great song, The righteous run into him, he is the strong tower, I run to Jesus, I run to God, I run into him, we say, well, how can I run into him, I run through the word I get into the Word, I physically get into the Scripture. And as I get into the Word as I lean in, as I, as I, as my eyes lean on, and in the word as I get in, I'm in Jesus. And as I read the word I hear, and then I come back to that text before we take this cup tonight. faith comes from hearing the message or hearing the word, which is the message and the message is heard through the word of God. I hear it when I read it. When I read it, it strengthens me when it strengthens me. Faith disappears, it melts like wax. And the fear melts like wax, it disappears. My faith rises, My Hope Rises. My God is in full charge. God loves you, He will make away so let's come to this last part of communion. So Father, we stand upon the rock. And the reason that we stand on the rock is because you are our rock, and you have placed us upon the rock. You have placed our feet upon the rock. And that's the story It just says like the deer. My feet are like the feet of a deer. I hold on the rock face I hold on the mountain. The deers feet are very interesting. And a very powerful part of that animal that the deer can hold its place on a rock face. That that is very difficult to stand I stand on the rock. So every one of us tonight we stand on the rock. And as we picture that, as we try and focus on that, we don't build on the sand. And the world is sand. I build on the rock of the reason I can build on the rock, he is my foundation. But because I have been put on the rock we have been placed on him and in him so I'm already in. So I just be still. Wherever you are tonight. You are in Jesus, you are in the word you are in God because God has called you. Even if you're flicking through the socials, even you're flicking through the podcast. So this will go out a week later. Your ears, your eyes were meant to see to hear this tonight, because God is drawing you. God is drawing you. God is making a way for you. And as he did, God made a way to the throne room of grace through Christ Jesus. Now we have access to the Father, because Christ went to the cross. So the access to the Father is available through Jesus, he says, I am the Way, the Truth and the LIFE No one comes to the Father, except through me. So everything is through Jesus, I go through Jesus, how do I get to him? How do I get through him? How do I see him? It's the word. I am the living word. The word is Christ, the Word is your God. The word that you have in front of you, is everything I say again, over and over. Let's get ourselves a Bible. Let's get ourselves a written version, the word of God, as I read it, I see God, as I see God. And as I speak it, I hear God. So the word has to get into me, the word is already in me because it says greater is in in me then he that is in the world. But there is a responsibility. There is a press that I need to read the word to be a good study, to read to understand because faith comes from hearing, how do I hear I read and as I read, and as I listen, even even if we are not reading, and I put the Psalms on I put the word of God and I can go on to the great, great internet, I can go on to Google, I can go on any whatever it is, and I can just type it in. And before I blink, I have the word of God coming out of the speaker system of whatever device and whatever it may be coming out through and from, put it on the Alexa, put it on your on on your your your sound system, put it through your phone, put it through your your your air, but whatever it is getting the word of God blasting through the corridors of your home, get the word of God in the front room, get the word of God, wherever you all get the word of God in your vehicle in your life. Get the word playing loud and strong in your home, get the word of God through the sound waves. And also as as I as I hear it, it becomes like a song. Isn't it interesting? You know how songs we can, we can remember and now we can sing them. So as we come to the really great part of this tonight. I've just taken in this cup. I say thank you, Lord, help me to hear Your word. Help me to receive your word. Help me to walk in your word. Help me to believe in your word. So Lord, I need you. And I need you to reveal this to me. Reveal your word to me. Reveal your promise. Reveal your plan, reveal it to me, Lord, in the name of Jesus, wash me, cleanse me, cover me in the blood that was shed at Calvary in Jesus name. So tonight, Lord, I repent. I repent of my wicked ways. I repent of my loose tongue. I repent the God of my frustrations. I'd repent of everything in this noggin. In this block of wood on my shoulders. I repent of my thinking, I repent of my philosophies. I repent of the sound. Lord, the what comes out is not always biblical. So I repent that in the name of Jesus. And Lord what what Lord, I need you to watch me in the Crimson Tide in the blood of Jesus Cleanse me from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet. In the mighty name of Jesus are men hallelujah. Yeah. washed in the blood. I love the word repentance. I love the word salvation. I love the word redeemed. We are redeemed, we are saved, we are blood washed. We are children of the living God. And you are free tonight, you are free. And I pray tonight, if you need healing, God will lead you to that position of receiving healing. If you are fearful tonight, you will get free tonight. Hallelujah, in the name of Jesus, if you are so tired, that you are beyond tired that your body is just aching. I pray that your bones get refreshed. As the psalmist writes, let our sleep be sweet. And as we sleep, I thank God that there are angels around your bed tonight, that God is protecting you that God has your house. God has your children, God has you. God knows all and he sees all and through the shed blood of Christ, we are saved. And we are on our way to the on our way to glory. We are on the next destination Heaven is Waiting. Heaven is before you and before me. And it is the stop that we will stop at forever. This is just a walk. This is just momentary. This is just a fleeting moment in the eternity press walk with the eternal God, we have a privilege time on this earth to be birthed into this position. But our final destination is glory because our names are stamped in the Lamb's book of life. Our net who wrote our name in that book, he wrote that name. In our book, we don't have the capabilities of writing our name in the book. It's a closed book, and he has the pen to the book, because it is written in the blood. So our names are written in the Lamb's book of life, who is the writer, God. God writes, God has written God has stamped your name, with the authority of the Word of God, with his voice with his he hit the blood of Jesus your name, it is sild you are saved you are a child of the living God. So I ask God tonight, Lord, everyone that is before me, let them rest in Jesus, let them rest in the arms of Christ. In your presence tonight, we thank You for this broadcast. We thank you for these 4547 minutes we're in tonight. 47 minutes approaching 48 minutes, as the clock says on the counter. God bless every one of you. God bless you. And I pray that you find peace and rest in the arms of the father, because the righteous run into it. And they are saved the righteous run into you are in God. God saved you. God set you free. Let's not worry about the price caps. Let's not worry who sit in, in the elite circles because the elite circles I do not want to know about I want to know who my Redeemer is. Because he lives I can face tomorrow. I want to know Jesus, I want to know him. I want to know more about him. Let the political frameworks do what they're going to do. Let the economic press of life do what it's going to do. Let the world do what it's going to do. But I want to know what Jesus says for me. As for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord. God is with you. Never give up. Trust in Him. Focus on the word. Hebrews chapter 12 Verse two, I'll see you in a few days, Wednesday evening, whatever your stretch is from now to Wednesday evening 730. As we gather around the Holy Word of God again, as we get into this as we see, and as God opens up the envelope of His Word, trust in Him, walk with him. He owns the gas. He creates the electric, he is the atoms He is the light of the world. He is your food. What do you mean he is my food? Man does not live on bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. God is feeding you spiritually. If I'm fed spiritually first, first, I got to be fed spiritually. Because I will always be hungry in the flesh. You know, I you firstly Jesus says, you need live in water, live in water and he is your living water. God bless you and good night. I'm getting my towel out of here and I'm gone in the name of Jesus. Hallelujah. Glory be to God. Never ever give up. He is with you. I will see you Wednesday evening. In Jesus name, God bless and Amen. Take care.
