God bless each and every one of you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. As we gather here for Bible study tonight, the time is 733. Here in the UK, wherever you are gathering God bless every one of you. We thank you so much for joining us this evening. And obviously not forgetting tonight for those that will stay up with us till 12 o'clock as we start the midnight hour for Donnie and myself as we break bread at 12 o'clock tonight. But wherever you are, at this moment in time, it is 733 here within the UK as we just gather for 45 minutes or so, around the word of God, how are you Oh, I pray that you are well, in the mighty name of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit and your day has been well, what are they this is the day that the Lord has made, we shall rejoice and be glad you can find us on Buzzsprout, Spotify iHeartRadio Alexa, Amazon music and so many other platforms for those that will join us in the world of podcasting a week later down the line as the screen says that find us never give up. Never, ever give up. There is always a way forward. God is with you. We always say that we always believe that. Because the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit is with you. And he is making a way where there seems to be no way never give up. Never give up as the screen says. But let's just take a few moments, you know, your day might have been busy with the children, grandchildren on your own, whatever your life looks like, whatever your footprint is, across the sand of this earth, which we walk. God is with you. And I pray that wherever you are tonight, whether you're local to the church, whether you when you come and we fellowship together, or whether you're miles away across the other side of the world, we thank you that you are sharing and downloading all this stuff that that comes out and goes through here. But let's turn to the New Testament, we're gonna turn into the New Testament for those that are jumping online, just a bit of a recap, we will be here at 12 o'clock this evening, for midnight hour myself and Donnie as we gather around the world, and we just pray through certain issues of life. And we will just be breaking bread together. So that is for 12 o'clock tonight for those that will join us and we get many on the other side of the planet. And let's just start let's just have a read. And let's get pushed through this. I hope you are all well. And you've had a good day. And let's just just gather around the word. As you can see the screens behind us very, very simple. Don't give up. Never give up. But this is still resting in my spirit about the word peace and rest and just favor. If we can just quickly turn to the Gospel of John Chapter 14, verse one and verse 27. And then we will go to the book of Ephesians Ephesians chapter three, and then we'll pick it up from verse 14 through to the end of 21. So let's go back. So we're going to be in the book of Ephesians chapter three, verse 14, to 21. But also the first reading for this evening is the Gospel of John Chapter 14, verse one and verse 27. And this links in with everything, obviously, we're saying and we're talking about, and we're mentioning here, and I just want to let you know tonight again, and again and again and again, God God is with you, whatever you face, whatever your situation is, whatever your footprint is, across the sand, whatever your life looks like, however you are feeling at this moment. Yes, emotions, yes, feelings. Yes. We are human beings. Yes, we have fear. Yes, we have doubt. But yes, we have faith that just shall live by faith. And I do believe that all of us. Can I say all of us, or should I say three quarters of us, maybe half of us, a quarter of us, whatever. You proportion yourself to whatever, however you categorize yourself, I am learning I am learning to walk very differently with Christ Jesus, I'm learning to walk very differently. I'm learning to trust I'm learning to lean into Jesus, that beautiful scripture in the New Testament, in the Gospel of John where they're seated Around Christ in the Passover setting, and it says, And he leaned into Jesus, I believe that there are many of us learning to lean in. There are many that have walked with him, and spent time with him through the word in prayer. But I believe that we are going through a process that we're going through a new journey, you know, Christianity is a journey, Kurt, what does Christianity mean? Christ in me, I believe in the fundamental, the preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I believe in creation, I believe in the birth, the death of the resurrection. I believe in the word of God, I believe it. I question I ask it because obviously, I'm a human being Do I understand it? No, I will never understand the fullness of the Word of God. If a human if I could understand the fullness of God, it would not be the word of God, it will be the word of man. But God's word is always been revealed. So whatever you face in your life, whatever I face in my life, at this moment, I just pray that the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Ghost, will just give you that comfort and that rest that you need for your innermost being that you will find that you have reached a place of complete stillness, even though you're going through a storm, even though there might be breakdowns in certain areas of life, even though even when we look at the word breakdown, I gotta be careful how I use the word breakdown. Is it really a breaking down? Or is it a stripping back, there's a difference between the breaking down and the stripping back Christ stripped back and I pray that God will strip back and God will move in your life and everything will be well, and the power of God will just give you freedom. So if there is a strip back is very different to a breaking down the world is breaking down. But when God deals and God nurtures and God calls very, very clearly what happens, God stripped back the word stripped back. There's a stripping back stripping back of what materialism, the flesh world, the world, everything is a strip back. So let's get into the gospel tonight. Let's start in the Gospel of John Chapter 14, verse one, and then we're going to read verse 27. And then we're going to flick straight over into the book of Ephesians, chapter three, verse 14 to 21. And I pray that you will get yourself a Bible and actually follow the text as we read it, and to ask God that as I speak it, as you hear it, God will reveal it, and you will find rest. It's great that we can listen, we can watch for the device, and through the technology that we have. But I would encourage you to grab yourself a Bible, this Bible has no cover, the index has been torn out, even in a couple of parts of it, you know, this was my mom's Bible, I've had this for years and years and years, it's marked it scarred, even looks grubby even looks dirty. On the end, it said, so many, so many years of reading, you know, bits and pieces are missing, I would urge you to get yourself a paperback, you know, and to follow. And to, you know, you've probably got, um, we've all got loads, you know, we've all got loads sitting on the shelves, and we, you know, but I would, I would really urge you to follow the word of God, as I read it, as I read it, and you see it and as you hear my voice present in the word in front of you. And as your ears and your eyes, you hear it, you see it, it is going in through your eye gate through your air gate. And I pray that as that goes in, I know as that goes in, whatever format that we have this coming through, whether it's King James NIV, ESV, whatever is the easiest read for you, whatever you feel comfortable with that that is right, that is purely right for you. Don't be dictated by anyone else, you should read this version, you should read that version. You read what you feel comfortable, that you feel relaxed in, you know, don't give yourself a version that is really difficult to read maybe the King James, I can't read that very, very easily because I'm dyslexic, and that causes me more drama. So I read from the NIV. And that is how God speaks to me. I'm not worried about what anybody says if I read from the NIV I read from the NIV. If you read from the King James hallelujah, if you read from the ESV hallelujah, whatever, whatever Bible we read from that is our personal read with Christ. And it's not dictated to anybody else any other movement, any pastors or leaders, opinions are not needed what I am what I'm requiring is encouragement. We are living in a nation that needs encouragement. We are living in a nation that is leader less, we are leader less are many areas and many platforms of life. There is absolute carnage breaking out all over the place. So whatever Bible you read from is what God will speak to you through. Do never be do not sorry, do not be pressured by reading a certain version because someone has their opinion. On that version. God will speak through the wall If God will speak through, any way, which way and form, but whatever Bible you get, you know, take your time to get it, invest in it because it's what and how God speaks to you. So whatever version you decide to land on, hallelujah in the name of Jesus, whatever you read is perfect for you. God will speak to you through that version. Now, do not let your hearts be troubled, believe in God, believe also in me, that is Christ. jump straight over to verse 27 of John chapter 14, peace, I leave you my peace I give you, I do not give you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled. And do not be afraid, do not be troubled. And do not be afraid. Whatever your walk on this earth is, Do not be troubled and do not be afraid. Do not allow the world's leaders to worry you do not allow the pressure of life to get to you do not allow situations to get hold of you. It's okay for me to say that. But I we all are human beings. And it is so easy for someone to say it. But when you're going through a trial and tribulation, it's very difficult sometimes to hold on to peace, to hold on to the Word of God, but keep going never give up. Very simple scripture at the start of this tonight, John chapter 14, verse one, do not let your heart be troubled, believing God but also believe in me, verse 27, of John chapter 14, Peace I leave you Christ leaves you with peace. Christ is leaving you peace this evening. Whatever is going on in your heart, your mind, Christ is leaving you peace. My peace I give you so he's leaving it. And he's giving you that twice it has spoken about. Then he says I do not give you as the world gives. He is not giving you what the world is offering. It is so simple tonight. Do not let your hearts be troubled. Do not be afraid Do not be troubled. And do not be afraid right. Now let's, let's jump forward. Let's go to the book of Ephesians. Let's go to Ephesians chapter three. And we are going to read from verse 14 through to 21. It really is important that I get a Bible a paperback version. I thank God for the power of technology because that is the means that we are using at this moment. That is the vehicle that is a navigation system that we have to get to you in your home, in your workspace wherever you are. That is great. That is wonderful. That is bright. That is dandy. And that is good. However, that works. That is great. But what we need is the printed version in front of us. So as we read it as we hear it, you know it there's something so powerful about the printed version now Ephesians chapter three, verse 14. Now this continues, and this moves and we will blend it and God will reveal it. And it will move very seamlessly through as we come back to John as well. So remember was in John, chapter 14, verse one. I had to read that out. I don't know why because it's not for me to know. And John, chapter 14, verse 27, but it's about being troubled and it's about having peace. Whatever is going on. God is aware of your situation. God is aware of what is happening in your life. God is aware of your thoughts. God is aware of your thinking, God is aware of your worries, your doubts, your murmurs, your heart tremors, your, your pounding heart inside your Skeletor God is aware of your feelings, emotions, doubts, jumps of joy, or whatever, where you all your prayers, and he's aware of that, but he is aware also of their moments of just stress and anxiety. Now, verse 14, of Ephesians chapter three, as we dive into the Holy Word of God this evening. For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, verse 16, of Ephesians chapter three, I pray that out of his glorious riches, he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit and your innermost being. so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power to, to gather with all the Lord's holy people to grasp how wide and long and higher and deep is the love of Christ, and to know that this love surpasses knowledge that you may be filled to the measure of the fullness of God. Verse 20, I feel in my heart tonight, this is very, very important for many verse 20, of Ephesians chapter three. Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine according to His power, that he's at work within you. To Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and Ever are men. God is working in your life. God is moving through your life. God is dealing with areas of your life. God is freeing you from certain cultural ties, God is removing you from certain areas of life that you've been familiar with for such a long time, there may be days of testing that are coming up for you, you may be in a posture and in a position of endurance at this moment in time, but there is a way forward, because he began a good work in you. And his word cannot return void. So we started off in the Gospel of John, and the Scripture is very simple, but very powerful and very clear. Do not let your hearts be troubled. Do not be troubled with the lows of the world, with the stresses of just being a human being. If you're tired, just sit back and say, Father, take this tiredness, Lord, I need your strength. I am weary, and I feel downtrodden. I feel on the backfoot. I feel I've been caught out in this situation. I didn't realize I was going to end up in this position. Because I said A, B, C and D, I didn't realize that because of the lifestyle choice that I've made. I didn't think that I would end up here law because I reacted the way that I reacted, Lord, and I got frustrated. And I said this. I said ABCD and I ended up here. Do not worry where you are in your life at this moment. Because before you got to your position in your life at this moment, before I ended up where I ended up at this moment in my life, God already knew that I would end up in this position. So just because I might have said something ungodly just could have done something ungodly. Just because I've acted ungodly doesn't mean to say God has left me nor for he is Satan forsaken me. He says I will never leave you nor forsake you. The power of repentance, justification, sanctification, and the power of Revelation, God knows we are human. The reason he knows we are human, because of the simple fact without science without any theologian telling us we are the human race, we are human beings. And with a human being becomes lots of trouble, lots of issues, lots of fleshly environments, lots of fleshly thoughts, lots of worries, lots of doubts, lots of fear, we are human being, we are human, we are chosen, we are blessed and highly favored. We are children of the living God, but God created from the dust of the earth, the flesh in which we stand in the bone that he created the blood in our body, the thinking the process and the cognitive process in the philosophy, the understanding that the way that we're our way that we are wired, each and every one of us is wired very, very differently. Each and every one of us has a very different character. Each and every one of us thinks differently. Each and every one of us walks differently. Each and every one of us thinks and operates differently. All of our lives are very different. But we serve the same God the God of Israel, He is your Creator, He is your God. He is your King. He knows your character. He knows my failings. He knows my flaws. He knows my characteristics. He knows my idiosyncrasies. He knows my crazy thinking. He knows my the words that I say sometimes I'm not correct. They don't line up with Scripture. He knows that I say the wrong thing that I act the wrong. I don't act like a pastor I don't think like a pastor. I don't act like a leader sometimes. But he still decided to choose me to use me to do whatever he's going to do with me and the same is for you. As for me, we are human beings and with a human being becomes a truckload of trouble being a human being, we our minds, our thinking our cognitive processes and their understanding of life. But he who began a good work in you when you look at this scripture, it is very clear to see that it is Christ that gives strength, Christ enables Christ equips. Christ says Do not let your hearts be troubled. He knows that the human race, pastors and leaders worship leaders, people in congregations, whoever we are, whatever our footprint in is, whatever our environment or stretch on this earth is, whatever our human thinking is, whatever our cultural upbringing is, wherever we are birthed across this earth, there is nothing in our lives, that is taken anything by God by surprise, because he knows our thinking. He knows our understanding. He knows our how precious he knows out. He knows the joys he knows the understanding. He knows everything. So what I got to what I got to get myself into an understanding If he knows all he created, all he is about all and all things consist. So he holds all things together in his hands by the power of His Word. So there is nothing in my life or your life that is before us, that is around us that is going to take Christ by surprise. But Christ does not remove the storm, as we see through the Scripture. Through the great evangelist Paul, God did not remove any of the storms, any of the beatings, any of the ship wrecks any of the troubles in his life, God sent an angel to speak, to nurture him to encourage him, and to give him a word, and God has given us a word through His Word. So that's why it's important for me, as a believer, forget all the titles that the world puts on us, as a son or a daughter. That's why it's important for me, to read the word to hear the word to speak the word, out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water, there is power in the Word of God. Gotta be careful how we present things, how we speak about things, especially with my upbringing, as a Pentecostal pastor, and all the great things that go with that, and the traits that go with that, and that the habitual way of church way in the church life, I am not a creature of habit, I am a son, that has been birthed into the kingdom. So we got to understand that if I'm doing things very robotically through church through this ministry, is that through religion, or is that through the kingdom of God? So our lives, we've got to be very careful that we don't become very robotic, that we don't become very stuck in entrenched in our ways and become very insular, because He who began a great work and you the best is before you, the best is in front of you. You haven't experienced the best yet. But also, we've what I haven't experienced in the best, yet, I may not have committed my biggest sin yet. But what I got to remember is, everything is now to the cross of Calvary, my the three, the three now is that Christ now, and was now to the cross for us for, as you know, and many that have spent time with me through the world of podcasting through to, through what we do here and there on on, on the broadcast in and what we do now, I see them three now there's one now was for my historical sin, one now is for my present they now live in, that's the second Now, the third now I see that represent in my future sin, the stuff that I haven't even done yet, but was already now to the cross of Calvary, three now of Calvary, my past sin, my present day live in now in my life at this moment, the second one. And the third now that was driven in is what is ahead of me. But I've already been redeemed and set free. Because your name my name is stamped in the land book of life. And maybe can we present that maybe a little bit different there. Our names are written in the Lamb's book of life by the blood of Christ, we are saved, we are justified, we are sanctified, and he is working in your life. Now let's just pick the scriptures up we don't have the time to do an expository sermonizing exercise. But what we can do is read from verse 14, in Ephesians, chapter three, for this reason I kneel before the Father from whom the entire family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches, he may strengthen you, Christ is strengthening you, whatever you are going through tonight, this hour, whatever you face tomorrow, today, wherever you are across this earth, He is strengthening you. I cannot stem from me. I can encourage you and you can encourage me. You know, there's been a lot in in the common language, a human kindness. We need to encourage one another. We are living in a nation that is broken. We are living in a nation if you are with me, in the UK, we are living in a nation, that you will look at many areas of life and see from the political all the way through areas all over the place of even monarchies, political finance, business, retail, certain areas of where we are looking, we are leader less, but we have a king. Now I'm not referring to the monarchy. May God bless the King of England, I'm referring to the king above that King, that King above all kings, I'm referring to the King of the Jews, the King above all kings, the Lord above all lords, because he is our king. We thank God for the monarchy, we thank God for the politicians, we thank God for the system, because everything has been and is in position because of Christ. Whatever way you look at that cry is just created or put everything into being. So I just don't want to come away from the tech. So what I want to I just want to backtrack one second to verse 16 of Ephesians chapter three. It says, I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you. Christ will strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your innermost being. So it is He Who is he, he is the living word. He is the Good Shepherd. He is the great I AM, he is the beginning. He is the bright morning star. He is your Jehovah Jireh he is your Rock of Ages he is your salvation. He is the Good Shepherd. He is the seventh I ams in the Gospel of John. He is the beginning. He is before all things and in Him all things consist. He is the living word. He is the Redeemer he is the Christ. He is the man, Christ Jesus. He is your God. He is your Savior. He is in Colossians the image of the invisible God. He is the Savior of the world. He is the great I Am the seven items as I've referenced in the Gospel of John, he is your shepherd. He is Psalm 23. The Lord is my shepherd. I lack nothing. He is my provider. He is my healer. He is my strength. He is my rock. He is my rock of ages he is the tower that I run to He is the God above all gods he is my Jesus. There are many ways that we can present this but he is everything that you need to get through the save them. Here's everything you need to get through the evening, through the morning, through the night through tomorrow, whatever you face, he has already gone through the door that you are walking up to. He has gone through your Jericho, he is the one that steps into the room and says to pomp Thomas sorry, and to the audience before Thomas Peace be with you. He's in your environment. But greater is He that is him me then he that is in the world, even though he's on the present and he's on the potent even though he is space, time and matter, as Genesis Genesis refers to. He is the Creator of heaven enough. He is your healer. Are you needing healing? He is your healer? Are you needing strengthening he is your strength? Are you needing increase in your faith? He is the one that will increase your faith. Are you needing more of the word he is the living word, and the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. He is the Savior of the world. He is everything that you need. He is your God. He is your Savior. He is I'm emphasizing on strength, strengthening what I'm saying and I'm repeating because I want you to know he is everything that you need. He is your author, and your perfecter of faith. He is your Jehovah Jireh Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah shalom, he's your your peace, shalom, he's your peace. He's your provider, My God shall supply all my needs according to Thy riches in glory. So when I look in Ephesians, chapter three, verse 16, he is your strength. And he is the power that is at work within you. Your physical being is exhausted, your mind is clogging up with the activities of life. Your mind is almost at freeze point. You can't focus you can't think right? That is because we are a human being. Thanks be to God that we are not being relied on for our physical strength to get to the miracle position that he has for us. Because he, when I am weak, then I am strong. Now, it says in Ephesians chapter three, verse 16, I pray that out of his glorious riches, he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit, through the Holy Ghost through the word of God for the living presence of Jesus Christ, that He will and your inner most being so now I can reference John, Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. The devil is in the world. Where we are hearing a lot or I should say I'm hearing a lot coming back around the cul de sac a church conversation. You need deliverance, you need deliverance. I do not. I'm not saying that people are saying to me but what I'm trying to say is in the world of the speech of church See, how many times do we hear someone say, You got to be delivered again and again and again. There was one sacrifice once and once for all, one price, one shedding of blood, one cross a Calvary, redemption. You are redeemed, you are saved, you are set free. There is no way. Lucifer will take up residence with the Holy Spirit. You are filled to the fullness of God. There is no way that the devil can get in your innermost being when you are saved, there is no room for Lucifer in your innermost being. When you are truly saved, truly sanctified, truly watched. A true disciple there is no room, not even headspace, not in your innermost being, because the Bible tells us this. So be careful about people that keep barking on and keep talking on about you've got to be delivered, you got to be delivered, you got to be delivered Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, you got to be delivered, you got to be delivered. I was delivered at the cross of Calvary. Before even I got into the existence of the physical existence. The Bible says that Christ disarmed all authorities and all principalities. At the cross of Calvary, He disarmed them, they are impotent, they have no power, they have no authority, it is words, there is no power. The devil is powerless because Christ crushed him at a cross of Calvary. The devil is under your feet. The Scripture tells us every place that the soul of my foot shall tread upon is my territory. There's that great strap line hashtag line out there that the Pentecostal movement as as us I'm taking back what the devil have stolen, he hasn't actually stolen anything from me, because Christ now everything of mine, to the cross of Calvary. So I am a child of the living God, the devil cannot steal anything from you. The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy, I get that I understand that we got to be careful how you interpret that. He might try and rob our peace through thinking and through disorder on the outside of the skin that I live in. But this is what the gospel, this is what the Bible. This is what the word of God tells me. Let's read it. Verse 16, again, of Ephesians three, I pray that out of his glorious riches, he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your innermost being. so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, I pray that you being rooted and established in love may have power to gather or together with the Lord's holy people to grasp how wide four major areas with height, depth and the limp. Look at this, let's read it together may have power to grasp or to gather with all the holy people of God to grasp number one, wide, long, three height. Fourth depth is the love of Christ. The devil can't get near the love of God, the devil will explode because of the power of God. The devil has no power over your inner most being you are saved, sanctified, justified, washed in the blood of Jesus, you are a child of the living God, you are not. When we say this, the devil hasn't taken up residence in our innermost being, he cannot take take up residence, he may have had we may say a form of residence when I wasn't safe, but that is a very difficult subject to unpack in a few moments, right. But right now, if you are a believer, there is three that are living in you. Not four. The fourth one is under your feet. But who is living in a believer, Father, Son, Holy Ghost, three, the deity is within the kingdom of God. And the Bible says perfect love drives out all fair. Grocery see that is me then he that is in the world. So when you look at the scripture that we're in tonight, there are four major elements or you could call them worldly focal points with length, height and depth. So when you look at that, then it says it says very clearly and to know that this love surpasses knowledge, knowledge puffs up knowledge has a ceiling The Knowledge has a knowledge limits the human being. And if I'm not careful, we are not careful, we can get so caught up in the word theological studying that the knowledge becomes a block point, when actually, there is freedom in Christ Jesus because where I might get blocked, and I might hit a ceiling level, through studying and through fine sounding scriptures, and getting myself to a study on, I've got to be careful that academics don't freeze me, academics stops me. Because knowledge is limited. But knowledge is needed through the word of God, I get knowledge through the word, I get the information, I get the knowledge, I get what I need. But then on top of that, God reveals that it is revealed for revelational knowledge. revelational knowledge is above earthly knowledge. So my academic stretch, my human stretch my thinking and my capacity as a human being. There is a limit each and every one of us is, each and every one of us are limited to what we can contain, through the human processing of the human mind. Brain fog, overloaded, overwhelmed, but what happens very clearly, through the power of the living Word of God. God reveals His word to you through revelation or knowledge. Have you ever read a scripture and read it over and over and over and then suddenly you read it again, and then bang, out of nowhere, it seems to come alive. It is like a, an explosion of light before your very eyes. You've read it, you've heard it, you've looked at it, you've gone back to it. Where's it gone? God reveals God speaks God speaks through His Word. So as we look at this, so God strengthens. God enables God guides and God hills. So this is very clear. Tonight, there are four areas the width, the length, the height, and the depth of the love of Christ. And to know that this love surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled to the measure of the fullness of God, you are filled to the full Ness, my cup runneth over. There is no room for satanic activity. In my innermost being. The Devil's flee at the name of Jesus, the devils run at the name of Jesus, that yes, there is spiritual influence on the outside. But greater is he living in Me, then he then the living on the outside. So the devil's work has been undone because of the cross of Calvary. There is carnage running through the spiritual layers, there is chaos running through the spiritual layers of demonic forces, because they cannot capture you. The only way they can act can we present this without without going too deep into the deliverance, because deliverance has already been done through the cross of Calvary, I am delivered, you are delivered from what I am redeemed, we are redeemed, we are being bought back with a price. And we are always being redeemed the redemption and justification and sanctification and the ongoing work of salvation. The devil can't get me from within. But there might be thinking that the only trouble I have in my life is me, is the flesh me the desires of the flesh, the hunger of the flesh, the the human being me, the the worldly me that, as the writer writes very clearly a wretched man and my why do I do the things I hate? And I cannot do the things that I know that I should do. Why do I do the things of the world? I don't need the influence of the devil around me because I am carnal. I am a human being. And my body is attracted to what the world is doing. There's no good trying to escape that there's no good it's no good line and saying that, that the world has no because the Bible says each man, this is a hard hitting text that I'm going to say and a lot of people don't like hearing it. A lot of people don't like saying it. A lot of people don't even like thinking about it. Each man is drawn away by his own lust. When it talks about manly talking about the human man or woman each man is drawn away, drawn into the to the shenanigans of the world, the daily living cycle, the circle of life, we are human beings. We are children of the living God saved by grace but greater is He that is in me and he that is in you than he that is in the world. So As Christ that gives you strim, Christ that enables, we read the other day in the New Testament. And Christ breathed on them, he said, received the Holy Spirit in the in the book of Acts, but they was locked down because of the fear of the Jewish leaders. Fear is a part of the human makeup. But fear did not stop Christ, breathing the Holy Spirit over them, and into them. Fear does not deter God, and does not face God and does not stop God working with you and working with me, because He created us as the human race, as human beings. And the church has to understand that we are human, that we are not supernatural little gods. We are sons and daughters of the living God. We are sinners saved by grace, not by works so that no one can boast not by works, not by academic understanding, not by the amount of work that I do. It's got nothing to do with my salvation. You were saved, I was saved. We are imperfect, we there is imperfections in and around me. But that's what the Bible talks about. We are grafted into the vine. He is the gardener and he cuts off everything that is not producing fruit, everything that is dead wood, every one of us has elements and areas of our lives that are not producing fruit. It's got nothing to do with ministry. It's just the way but we are grafted into the vine, you will craft it in you are pulled in you was connected in you was connected in before you even understood what the word connecting was. You ever failed to the format fullness. It's like God is pouring himself into these orphaned vessels. There are cracks, there are splits, there are open wounds all over me. But God is the healer, he is the one that heals the conflicts. He is the one that leads us through the valleys. He is the one that heals the brokenhearted. We are human beings. And the more I come to the realization of I am a human, but not only am I am I a human being, I am a sinner saved by grace. So if I'm a human, I'm going to have human attributes and human aspects and layers of my life where I'm going to sin and I'm going to fail, I'm going to think wrong, I'm going to act wrong, but that doesn't stop God working in my life. But each day, each moment is a very slow progress on the journey of Christianity, to move in into wholeness into faith into a greater walk with Him. And it sometimes feels that I'm going backwards. It's not that we are going backwards. It is more in the understanding that the Holy Spirit and the vinedresser and the word of God is sanctifying us and working in us and through us and we are being stripped back. So my earthly me is becoming more aware of the failings and the trip hazards. I will put it like this, the snare layer, there are snare layers out there that are laying snares for us to be trapped in that will always be on this earth. But from one big degree of glory to another is from faith to faith, moment by moment, one step two steps. Do you ever feel that you've gone backwards in your walk with Christ? It's not that we've gone backwards. It is that the Holy Spirit and the holiness of God has made us more aware in our human walk. That Christ is cleaning and clerk Christ is rescuing. And Christ is a vine dresser. And Christ is stripping, stripping away what we didn't think needed to be stripped away. Once in our life. Suddenly we realized that that's not quite right. I need to ask for forgiveness. I need redemption again, Lord, because I have thought wrong. I have lived wrong. I have step wrong. I have moved wrong. I have acted wrong, but we are already grafted in so God has grafted you in. But I just want to let you know these these few areas tonight God is going to strengthen you. The Holy Spirit is within you. The love of Christ is in you. And what else have we got now to him? Now as we look at these areas, we are earthen vessels. We are human beings. The Bible talks about the human race. We are not as some transatlantic preachers and teachers and some preachers within the UK are trying to get us to to commit to that We are little gods. I am not a little God, I'm a sinner saved by grace. I will always be a sinner saved by grace until this earth suit breathes its last and God calls me to glory. Then that's when the change comes in as the scripture says, but all the time I walked this earth I am a sinner saved by grace, but through the power of redemption through the power of sanctification, through the power of the potter's wheel, he is shaping us because we are earthen vessels. We are earthen vessels. We are mod. But we are in the Masters, hands we are clay in the Masters hands and he is always shaping, forming stripping back. The potter, he is the potter we are the clay, the clay has always been worked. The vine is always been redressed. It has always been stripped back, the vine has growth spurts, it has times where it grows, it has times where certain areas the vine dives, or dies off, it looks dead, but there is still growth within the vine. So it's really important to understand that we are, we are in seasons, and each and every one of us are in different seasons of growth, of stillness, of strip back of acceleration. There we are all in different seasons. But look, let's see what the Scripture says we got Landis in a moment will bring us to a pause. And for those that are going to capture tonight, we'll be back at 12 o'clock tonight for the midnight hour. Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine according so asking and an imagining can only come from one place come from the mind comes from that part of the mind that that place of, of imagination, the place of thinking, the place of articulating and the cognitive processing. So that tells us again that we are human beings, a human will always imagine a dream, and a human will will ask. So there are we are limited to what we know and how we know. Because we are human beings, but knowledge can limit. But revelational knowledge lifts us and climbs us to a different faith level, not to, to our gain and to outweigh anybody else. Because all of us are at different levels. And when I say different levels, I'm not saying that anyone is greater than anyone else, because we are all sons and we are all daughters. And we are all brought to that same level because all have sinned and fallen short of thy glory. What I mean is that there are many of us we are all at different walks, we are all treading different boards, we are all on different stages of life, we are older than one another, we are younger than one another. We have been brought up in different cultures we are we are born on different parts of the earth. So we are all very different, but we belong to the body of Christ. So you belong to the kings domain is so much to get to this verse 18, may have power to together with all the Lord's holy people, to grasp how wide and long and higher now deep is the love of Christ. And to know that this love surpasses knowledge that you may be filled, you are filled, you are filled. Now, to the full measure, you are overflowing, my cup runneth over. So that's what I'm saying there is no room for satanic activity. Because your cup is running over with the goodness and the fullness of God. You are filled with the word. You are filled with the Holy Spirit. You are filled with the deity the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. And it says that you may be filled to the measure the form to be filled to the measure of the fullness of God. Now to him verse 20, as we come to a bit of a pause tonight. Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than we asked her imagine according to his power that is at work within us. His power is at work within us. It is not my power. It is not my strength. It is not my understanding. It is his power. What power, the power of Christ, the power of the God of Israel, the power of the Holy Spirit. It is the comforter, it is the living word. It is the creator, his power that is at work within us. If you want to break the his down And now that down to a theological stretch, that his is Christ, so that he is, is He Who is he, he is the image of the invisible God. Christ is the image of the invisible God. So if Christ as you look at this at a theological study, Christ is the image of the invisible God, so of Christ is the image of the invisible God, and He is within me, He is the image he represents God. So God is within, but we understand through the Scripture alone, as we have read, you have the fullness, being rooted and established in love may have power to grasp with the Lord's holy people, how wide how long, how high, or how deep, is the love of Christ, we cannot measure as human beings through the test job of living test tube of living through a matrix of measures, through pie charts and flowcharts, we cannot measure the depth of his love as human beings, we get a glimmer, a measure can only be looked at, as John 316, through an understanding for God so loved the world that whosoever shall believe in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. The cross can only be maybe looked at for a moment as a measurement of what happened at the cross, so that I can grasp it from my physical understanding, as a human being, but it cannot be measured, the depth of it, the width of it, the length of it, and the fullness of it, the four areas like the north east or west itself, it cannot be measured, the length of it, the width of it, the depth of it, the height of it, it cannot be measured, because it is a continuum, I don't even like to use the word continuum, it is ongoing, it is always moving, it is always progressive. God's love cannot be measured, the only way it can be seen to be measured, or to get a physiological grasp on it, if you are trying to work out is by the cross of Calvary for God. So he gave he gave, so we understand there was a given, there was a receiving, but you can't you cannot measure it. Because if you can measure it to a degree, the measurement has a limit, which has a full stop, you cannot limit God, you cannot limit his love, you cannot find the end of it. The Bible says in the Old Testament, He knows the end from the beginning. And he knows the beginning from the end. He knows everything. Genesis talks about the three scientific areas of creation that are needed, for anything to be created, that has been created, that is in complete. And in creation, space, we have space, we have time. And we have the understanding of matter. So we have the three scientific elements of what we know and through quantum physics, and through the study. And through the understanding, a mat, the top mathematic magician, the top scientists, the top academic, the top theologian, cannot box God in no one in humanity can get to the end of the measure of Christ, he cannot be measured in human form. And what I mean by human form is that we understand that Christ came completely as the man but completely the image of the invisible God. He cannot be measured in the way of matrix in the way of mathematics and science. He is outside of that. But also he is in that to show science and humanity, the power of the spoken word. So when you look at this text tonight, I just want to remind you tonight, that is love is not limited. His love is endless. Look at what that great new Old Testament writer writes, his love endures forever. His love endures forever. His love is a continuum. It's moving, it's progressive. It's growing. It's showing it's revealing, it cannot be measured. The only way it can be measured, if you want to put a theological study on that is through the outworking cross of Calvary. Visually it can be measured, but it cannot be measured because if if God can be measured, it has a full stop mathematics comes to a to completion, science always to and always come to a completion. But with Christ, you can never find the fullness because it says their knowledge. Let's just read this one more time before we say God bless. so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord's holy people to grasp how wide how long, how high, how deep is the love of Christ, and to know His love surpasses knowledge, what is knowledge, all the main factors and the fundamental points of the measures and the grasps and the grass and the scientific understanding. It has a full stop knowledge is limited, and it is limiting the human being. Yes, we all grow. Yes, we all work. Yes, we all move through knowledge. Yes, we are limited to knowledge. But his love surpasses which art is over. So Christ, art is over. Because the Bible says God is love. So God goes over the limitation of knowledge. God is above knowledge, but God is knowledge and God is in knowledge. But God is not limited by knowledge of the human being, if knowledge could put him in a jam jar and do up the lid, and put him in a test tube, that is not the God that we serve. God is above science. God is up above mathematics. God is above quantum physics. God is above every layer of the scientific world, the mathematic world, the logical world. God is above the knowledge because it tells us that but His love, His love, surpasses God is love. He surpasses knowledge. He surpasses human expectation, because the Bible tells us and to know His love surpasses knowledge that you may be filled to the measure of the fullness, you are filled to the fullness, it is an ongoing filling, it is an ongoing topping up it is filling it is always replenishing the measure of the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more content than we ask or imagine a coding to the power that is at work within us. To Him be the glory in the church, and in Christ Jesus, throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen. So what is he doing? He's strengthening. He's equipping. He's stripping back. He's loving. He's everything that you need, you will get through whatever you are facing. Because whatever you are facing, he surpasses everything you face. Whatever. I honestly believe as human beings in Christ Jesus, we have really limited ourselves because we look at what we can accomplish. In the human side, even knowing we are spirit filled. We are chosen, we are blessed. I honestly believe now is a time of new beginnings for many in cultures, many in other contexts of life. There are new beginnings because we have made ourselves very parochial the church looks at the demographics and the geographical stretch that we have, because that's how we do everything. You've only got to look at the UK. The geographics, we, we, we gravitate to just a small area of living. But God is bigger than the demographics and the geographics of where we live. There is more to life than we can ask or imagine. But we just keep ourselves from church as the Morrisons this supermarket, the school run, to work commute in, we box ourselves in by demographics and geographical stretch. But the Bible says go into all the world. Have you really had your best adventure with Christ yet? Have you really explored what is out there? But just like government statistics, we box ourselves into demographics. Graphs, we don't come out of certain boxes because the box says that I can't. So we box ourselves in and we spend years of limit It's in ourselves. Because we look so inward, rather than looking outward to the creator of heaven and earth. The world is enormous. The stretch Do you have every place that the soul of my foot shall tread upon? Is my territory, an ongoing continuum, or progression, but we live, and we have markers. We have that supermarket, we have blue water, we have the circle of the M 25. We have the motorways that we use all day. We have geographics and demographics, we have commuting. Oh, I honestly believe in closing, that we limit ourselves. But there is no limitation in Christ. I don't know if God's gonna heal me from this. I don't know if God's going to take me out of this. I don't know if God is going to show me the way through this. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. And He who began a good work in you will carry out onto the day of completion. It is he pressed down, good measure running over. You know, as the scripture that we read out tonight, he is able to do more than we imagine or ask. So I can't keep limiting myself. By my thinking, my thinking limits me. And I'm not allowing my faith to take me. I'm allowing my thinking, to live for me. When my I should be lived the just shall live by faith. So I come back and I land myself in a scripture that was in knowledge, my knowledge and my thinking is stopping me from progressing in faith. His great work that is working within you, greater his he that is in you than he that is in the world, wherever you are tonight.
