We're in we're in we're in number 10 Number 10 Has someone that is going to change the deck off for a little while and then someone else will be back in
Donny Stockburn:load. who smelt service?
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yes, Don, and we are live on air. Jesus, let's get straight in. God bless every one of you, as I record this podcast, everybody in the world of podcasting this morning that will capture this stuff back May God bless you and strength in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. As we rest as we be still. As we focus on The King of kings and the Lord of lords, whatever your situation is, there is hope. Never give up. May God strengthen you and guide you in all things of your life. And we're going to turn into the Gospel of Matthew coffee and prayer this morning, we'll be taking communion in about 35 minutes as we just gather and take bread together. Excuse me and take this cup. So wherever you are, please. As many as many as we normally have just gather for breaking bread and taking a cup later on as we just be still and know that he's got so wherever you are this morning, whether you're capturing it through Spotify, I Heart Radio, or Alexa, or Amazon music and so many other platforms that we use to push these broadcasts out, we pray, excuse me, that you will just find the very presence of God. If you're seeking a man, if you are a believer, come on, let's get in the Word of God. So we're going to dive straight into the Gospel of Luke. And this was really just laid on my heart very easily and very simply, you know, nothing complicated about this. And you know what I love about Jesus, it's not about coming to church. It's about believing, I believe. I believe in the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, I believe in this. The gospels, I believe in creation. The birth, the death, the resurrection of Christ, I believe in miracles, I believe. God helped me Lord, give me revelation helped me to understand it, Lord, But Lord, I just pray that you will draw every one of us in today. So do we believe it's that simple, I believe, you know, we thank God for the church, we thank God further the structure of the church. And when we come and we pray together, we worship together, we, we fellowship together, we hear the word together, but you know what? It's just the building. And God is so much bigger than a building. And we got, as I'm talking to myself, got to stop being relying and reliant, sorry, on the building that got to trust Jesus. So wherever you are, are you weary? Are you heavily laden? Are you troubled? Because very simply, I was taken to the Gospel of Matthew, Matthew chapter 11, verse 28, and I just asked you that you will turn now this morning. And just such a simple line that it says Come to me, all of you that are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. Christ will give you rest today, this day and forevermore, for all of eternity, are you tired or you're weary? When you look at the political window that's open at the moment, everything that's happening through that, and then that affects the, the finance markets that affects the worries and the fears of just life of the cogs of the industry of the world. Do not worry, the Bible says, Do not worry. Let's just praise God this morning. Let's just rest God, in our circumstances. Let's just lift him up. Let's just just say thank you, Jesus for my life because Lord, My life belongs to you. And whatever the outside environment is, it is it is what it is. And that's it. So Lord, I'm going to trust you in every area of my life. I believe you're working through my life, in my life. And Lord, you're drawing me away from what the world is offering and you're taking me deeper into a walk with you a greater relationship with the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, there is none like Jesus, He is the king. He is your Jehovah he is your Savior. God is for you. And I pray that wherever you are today, at 946 on this Wednesday morning, that you will find His presence and His love in your heart and your mind and your focus like never before. And you will not lean on your own understanding but in all your ways. In all your ways. Lord, help me this morning, Lord, through this prayer time with my brothers and sisters online and everybody jumping on. Lord, I pray this morning, Father, that You will just lead us to new pastures, Lord, that You will just lead us into new areas, that you will just lead us into new beginnings. Father, that You will just strengthen us from the crown of our head to the very soul of our feet. So this morning, Lord, I pray Father, as we look at the Gospel of Matthew chapter 11, verse 28. Father, I thank you that you are telling us to come to you such a simple line this morning. You know, sometimes we could go off on a bigger scripture we go for sometimes you're led into the very depths and a deep part but for me today, for me today, if you are burdened, like I get burdened, I get worried, I get fearful because I am a human being. You know, there are loads of believers out there that says Oh, brother, you should. You're a minister, you got to live by faith every second of the day. Yes, I have faith. Yes, I have faith. But yes, I am a human being. I am a son. I am saved, but I have moments of fear I have moments of worry. Because that's that's in in the human makeup. And we need to be careful of anyone that is surrounding us that says oh, I'm a believer. I I'm never unwell. I'm never this. I'm never that I'm blessed and highly favored every second of my day. I get all that. But yes, but let's be real moment. Let's be real. Look at the disciples. They had fearful days. They're joyous days. They are powerful days, they had fishing days. They had days, just days. God speaks about how he created humanity and what goes along with humanity and what goes along with a world that is antichrist. So no wonder you might have anxiety, no wonder we might have a bit of fear. But you know what, this is what Jesus says. Because he addresses fear. He addresses fear. And if it wasn't for us that we're not meant to have the fear. Of course we understand what the scripture says. But Jesus addresses it with the disciples. He addresses it with Thomas. He addresses it in lots of situations and he comes back into their lives. And he says, Peace be with you. Because he knows how humanity is because He created us so far this morning, I come to you, all of you that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. I thank You, Lord, that you will give us rest that you will give us peace, that you will give us stability that Lord that you will give us understanding that you will lead us Father we pray for this nation as we look at this nation. Father, we pray for the new leader that we have in love, we pray, Father, that you will move very powerfully Lord, that you will cover him in the blood of Jesus that he will be saved Lord, the child of the living God. We thank You, Lord, for the politics. We thank you Lord, for church, we thank you for business, we thank you for schools, we thank you for everything, Lord, because there is nothing outside of your framework or your eyesight. There is nothing outside Lord of your word. So you know the end from the beginning, the beginning from the end, and we pray whoever steps into number 10 Downing Street, Lord, that you will bless them, save them, guide them and fill them with your Word of God, whoever that is that walked through that door of that that street number 10 Downing Street that your presence and your love will be over any human being who walked through that gateway into that situation. Lord, we believe in the power Have the Word of God we believe in salvation we believe in redemption. So Father, we come to you, because you tell us, so Lord, we make a physical effort we make a thoughtful effort we make Lord Our hearts love. We come to you this morning, and we come to you, Lord, enjoy, we come to you, Lord, in pain. We come to you, Lord, in Word we come to you, Lord, tired. We come to you in many different ways today, Lord, because we are sinners saved by grace, and we are human beings. So Lord, we come to you come to me, Jesus says, all of you that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest, are you burdened this morning? Christ will give you rest. Are you weary today? Are you tired? Are your bones aching? Are you just a little bit rundown in yourself? Jesus is the healer, he is the miracle worker. And I pray that wherever you are this morning, as we gather as we sit as we be still, as we getting ready to take the bread and wine together this morning, I pray that you will just feel the love of the Father, of the power of the Holy Spirit, and the greatness of Jesus Christ in your life, because you are saved. You are blessed and highly favored. You are a child of the living garden, and my brothers sitting around me and people in the church at this moment, doing everything that's going on and everybody on line, Lord, we just pray for this nation, Lord, that you will breathe down the spine of this nation, Lord, that this nation will come to Christ we pray, Father, that this nation will be led by a godly man, woman, whatever, however that is going to sit we don't know the law, we pray for whoever is in the prime minister's chair. Lord, as soon as these titles are taken up of whoever they are, Lord, we pray that you will breathe over them in the name of Jesus. We pray also for Mauna Kea, we pray that your sweet fruit of Mauna Kea, that the Mauna Kea will KNOW Jesus Christ, we pray that you will sweep through business, we pray that you will sweep for education we pray that you will sweep through finances, every area of every different level of life, we pray that Jesus, Jesus will be found in in the, in the money markets, people will be saved. Lord in retail, Lord, in whatever area of business and the workplace, wherever that is today. We pray for all those loads that have gone to work that are tired, that are weary, that are tired of just paying the bills, just doing the same. Press the same stretch every day those that are weighed down with business worry, with debt, with fears with doubt, Father calm, we need the King above all kings, we need the Lord. We need our God you are with us, and you will never leave us nor forsake us. But Lord remind this earth so that I live in, that you dear God will never leave us nor forsake us because Lord, my faith rises. My faith Lord is in you. The just shall live by faith. But Lord, there is conflict with the skin. And the enemy. There is conflict between the cognitive processing and my faith. There is conflict between me, Lord, and myself, Lord, the devil don't need to do anything with me because I beat myself up more than he tries to do anything to meet the Lord, the devil is under our feet. So what I need to do is I need to surrender more. There is power in surrendering and handing everything over to Jesus. The devil is a liar, he is under our feet, we are blessed and highly favored. But what is in my life, that's tempting me, that's given me fear. That's given me worries that's given me issues. Lord, I hand all this stuff over. And Lord, I say, Come, Holy Spirit, refresh every one of us today, refresh us from the crown of our head, to the soles of our feet, bless the parents that have had to take time off. To look after the children and the grandparents and Lord through these term times where the worry of having the children at home, how are we going to manage how we're going to work? How are we going to do this? How are we going to operate, Lord to come Holy Spirit bring peace to every house today. But as it says in the book of Matthew, chapter 11, come to me all of you that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. There we go. Good morning, guys. We're in good morning. Good morning, brothers. It's over to you, Donny, Andy and Glen, my God guide every one of us in coffee and prayer this morning as we sit as we be still, as we pray as we reflect as we look into as God speaks or wherever you are across this earth. May God bless you. In Jesus precious name, amen.
Glenn Walsh:You started with the word Come Come to me all the way and it's been open that I was literally looking at Isaiah 55 Which starts come God is inviting us to come to him this morning. So as I 55 That first one says Come everyone who thirsts come to the waters and he He who has no money, come by and eat basically is saying, Come as you are. Come as you are, you'll never be ready. Just come as you are. Come buy wine and milk Without money and without price. Why do you spend your money for that which is not read and why? And your labor for that which does not satisfy. Listen diligently to me and eat what is good, and delight yourself in rich food, incline your ear and come to me here that your soul may live, and I will make an everlasting covenant with you. And then it says, later on in verse six, Seek the Lord while He may be found, or may call upon Him while He is near, he's near. He's inviting us. He's calling us. Let the wicked forsake his wives and the unrighteous man he's thoughts. Let him return to the Lord. Come on, come on Jason, invitation of return, let's return, that he may have compassion on him on him thank you and to our God, for He will abundantly Park. We come as we are, yes, we come as we are. Our love for God is a response that he first loved us. It was while we were enemies of Gods while we were dead in our transgressions, while we were by our very nature, objects of God's wealth, that Jesus died for us. How much more now? People have got, let's return to a God as we are, and receive mercy and forgiveness and why so your life? It's saying, why spend your money for that, which is not bread and your labor that does not satisfy? What are we selling our lives to? What are we seeking what instant gratification that leads to nothing and we fill in our lives with this fill our lives with him come on to his Holy Cross to have bread upon the water that is Christ. So it will not return to his point. He will never turn anyone away who comes to me says, Sir, as you are, how you are, regardless of what your thoughts say. Later on in verse eight, he says from my thoughts are not your thoughts. Neither are My ways your ways, declares the Lord. Amen. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than yours. And my thoughts are higher than your thoughts. He's calling you brothers and sisters. Yes, to know him to receive forgiveness, mercy, cleansing, and re knowing such as the grace of God, Lord, we pray that Holy Spirit come called us again, Lord, to walk with you to know you, Lord, the things that we think have ruined us the things that we think have caused you to say no over our lives. They're just lies from the enemy. You have made a covenant of grace over us, oh, man. So no matter how many times we fall, when we pick ourselves up, when we dust ourselves off, we can start all over again. Your mercies are new every morning. So we pray, Lord, and we say we're sorry for yesterday. Thank You that we renewed today. And again, we say Lord will walk with you. We're aligned with you. So we do pray. And we thank You, Lord, for Your forgiveness, for Your Mercy, and for the empowering of Your Holy Spirit in our lives. To get the job done. Amen.
Donny Stockburn:Yeah, thanks, Glenn. word grace is a Thank You Lord. It's so he's so good to us in here. I've got Danny. Look Grace, God told me this two days ago. Give me guys and I just want to read to you cut the Scriptures about Christ and one other quickly. And then pray for us. And first one is a good written down so I'm gonna go straight off. Romans eight one, there is now no condemnation. Come on, for those that were in Christ. Yeah. Life. Thank you that Romans six will aim For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, and its requirements any longer. Instead, you live under the Freedom of grace. So impressed me that I picked up another look in the dictionary and see what Grice really meant and the world the Word version of it is this, it says a curious, courteous goodwill and I'll put a big note towards it. Don't do anything. Or he had the grace to apologize. Now that don't do anything. Bible guys. A spontaneous gift of God. generous in free, totally unexpected, undeserved divine favor, an earned fiver. Oh Lord that that's Grice. That's it guys we look for fairly good. Lord, I pray that we will stop relying on our feelings about things. start relying on this word, Lord, this is your grace, Lord. And I wondered why such such a gift to us? Why Why would God give us such a gift as that, and then I'll go into Isaiah 43, I got it in front of me. When I was I had to die, you might notice. No one knows what we're gonna do until we get God's God's glory. And he is, is a good point as to why God has pours out such grace on us for giving us so much. When we was far from him, I'm just gonna read it up to a vote for and this this letter is written to God's people, and in those days, who called Jacob and ISIS, and Israel, but now it's the church. It's the same thing. This letter is written as much to us sitting here today, as it was to then to Israel in those days and to Jacob. And it says, he says, But now, Thus says the Lord, Who created you why there isn't one such Christ, He created us, and he who formed you. Fear not, for I have retained you. I have called you by your name. This is the word I love, you are mine. That's why it's such Christ. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you. Through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. And when you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame sculpture, for I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. I gave Egypt for your Vensim and Ethiopian Sieber, for your place. Since you were precious in my sight. You have been honored and I have loved you. This word God spoke to a nation that was in exile because it is sinfulness. Thank you, Jesus. Yeah, he's love still extended to them, you can read it yourself again. Because your mind. That's why it's such grace, we belong to God. This is the Word of God is the word that saves us. Father, we just thank you for it now in Jesus name. I'm just going to pray now over this is wonderful word that God will download it into our lives. Sometimes our lives as grim or banal the sign of it, they're full of fear and troubles. Father God, and today, Lord, we just want to get that picture in our mind. You said there in Matthew 1128. Come to me, Lord, which is going to beg up all our fears now. All our troubles you can kiss gospel in your spirit in your mind now, everything that's been troubling you lately, everything that's been bothering you older travels all over the world person if you're being persecuted. If you're afraid, if you're in hospital ill or sick or someone you love is, is dying, and really ill, all these things, these issues finally got the word away in the background. Every single one of them all over the world to every question soul is prayer. Lord, I pray, Father God, that we will beg all those things up. Yes, Lord will put them in that bag, Lord, and we will bring them to you. We will burn and lay them down download with light and everything, the deepest fears, even the ones we wouldn't tell our family, our troubled minds, our troubled souls, their troubled spirits, our weaknesses, Lord, the times we feel like hypocrites, all those times, Father God, we beg them all out. We bring them to the cross. And we lay them down there at your feet lawn. Because that's what you told us to do. That's what you told us to bring all our troubles to your lawn and we bring them now, every single one of them learned a light amount of course. And Father God, we we don't walk away empty handed. We walk away with your righteousness, with your forgiveness, with your love with your unending love and grace that covers us, Father, God, everything. We will never be out of your grace, because we belong to you. And you've got it written down there. You have redeemed us. All these words, Lord have to reassure us, Father God that this is not a temporary relationship with you. It's permanent. It's forever Thought of God, we pray that each one of us Lord, now listening or playing with us, Lord, will do this would go through this process that you told us to do. Bring it to me. God says, Bring it to me. I'll deal with it. The law you don't live under the law anymore. You live under my grace, and my favor. Father, God, we just walk away with that favor and leave you all our troubles, all our, all our fears, and worries, Lord far go wherever they are, kings will come, prisoners will come, prime ministers will come. The poor men will come. The odd ones, the ones who are out of work will come, everyone. We've all had troubles, not lay them at the feet of the cross of Jesus is able to give us relief and righteousness, even holiness, through your grace and mercy, Lord, on our lives. So we just pray this now, in the name of Jesus. Amen. Thank you, man I could use
Andy Hammond:this morning. I just feel that there are quite a number of people are feeling confused. All the events that have been happening with government which you wouldn't you will write this this sort of, it's almost like a comedy, isn't it? The way that government has changed the Prime Minister's how many we've had in so many weeks three. And it's, it's so confusing, and but there's only one person who is constant in all this, and that's our Savior, Jesus. And we can actually come back to him. And there's a verse in Romans eight, that in verse 26, is that the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness, and will feel helpless, quite often. We say what can we do? What can we do? We don't know what we ought to pray for. But the spirit in Himself intercedes for us with groans, that words cannot express. And I feel it this morning that we we grown, don't we? Oh, no. We say, Oh, no. But the surprising thing is that God understands all this, and he helps us in our weakness. And if we just turn it all over to him, yeah, turn it all over him. Yes, land is we can trust him for all the issues that we experienced in our life. And there's a verse in Hosea that says, you must return to your God. And you must maintain love and justice, and wait for your God always. We must sit and wait for God. He knows the best course for each one of us. Yes, Lord will, a different God has made us as individuals, we think differently. This four of us sitting around the table here. We all think differently, we have different opinions. But there's one thing constant is that we all love Jesus. And God is our master. And we trust the Holy Spirit for what? He directs each one of us. But we have to come and sit before him. And what, what I think is the best course for each one of us. Who trustees says to come and sit before him and spend some time with him. And I just love coming and spending time here. Because we're all dependent upon what Holy Spirit says to us. Each one of us, brings something different to the table. We'll sit around this table, and Jesus brings us home. He's our only help man, a deeply troubled world. He is our only help. And that verse, which a lot of people know from Isaiah 41 says, but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles. You They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not be faint.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Amen. Thank you, Jesus.
Andy Hammond:Is that what you want to do? Yes, Lord. I do. And but we have to put our hope in Jesus, there's no other. There's no other God is done. It's only Jesus. And we hope in the Lord, and we will renew our strength. Those of you now who feeling tired and weary, just turn up this verse in Scripture. For those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength, they will soar on wings like eagles, they will run or not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Thank you, Jesus for your work. And that's my verse, I think, for you today is that we have a God who is constant, who's always there, never gives up always waits for you. When we turn away from Him, He's there waiting. And as we turn back to him, he embraces us. And then about you, but I want to be embraced today. Amen.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yes, Lord. Thank You, Jesus. Thank you.
Glenn Walsh:Isaiah 53. This is why it's so hard. This is why he is our home. This is why we haven't even got confidence in our own flesh, definitely known. Just like Paul said, their confidence is this that He who began a good work is the one who's able to bring it to completion. So as I'm 53 Verse four, and this is the foundation of our faith. Surely, he has borne our griefs and carried at solos, Yes, father, verse five, he was wounded for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities, upon him was the punishment that brought us peace. And with his stripes we are healed. He was wounded for our sins, at deliberate rebellion, high school and upon him. He was crushed for our iniquities, the twofold our sins, that our rebellion, the things that we were supposed to do, we don't do and the things that we shouldn't do we do our sin acts, but also, he was crushed for our iniquities and weakness of character and weakness of mind and moral failings. Come on, Lord, he was crushed in a place. That's our faith, isn't it? That is, it says in Philippians two that even though he was by very nature, God, he did not find equality with God, something to be held on to that made himself nothing taken on the nature of a servant being found in human likeness. Yes, Father, Jesus gave himself up. Even to death, he surrendered, even death and across. That's God's love for us. He was crushed for our iniquities, he was wounded for our transgressions and the punishment that both aspects was upon him. So faith, isn't it? Yeah, that when he said it is finished, it is it really should come on. God's on the cross and know that he met his holy requirements to the fool. Yeah, he declared that sin enough is finished. The punishment that we deserved was placed on Him and through Him, we have pace Surely he's carried out leaps and COVID our size Jesus, I want to thank You that You know us fully oh man, there's not a soul that we've had that you are not aware of.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Thank you God.
Glenn Walsh:Now I thought so my far before the word is on our mouth, you know it completely or not, you know, when we rise, you know, when we lay down, you know, yeah, you know, all the days are dangerous, written in your book before one of them came to be, this is all your word. Psalm 139. And yet, Lord, your banner over us is, love your banner overseas, my friend, your banner over us, because you say, Lord, for all those who believe you give the right to be called the children of God. Amen. Your Birnam over us his family. Thank you, Jesus, that nothing can snatch us out of your hands. You have done it all. So we come to you, the lover of our souls, cleanse us and make a strong for your holy namesake.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Man. Thank you Jesus.
Andy Hammond:Thank you. Thank you. Thanks Glen for that, in Isaiah 53 Is that verse seven, He was oppressed and afflicted yet he did not open his mouth. He was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and a sheep before Hashem is silent. So he didn't open his mouth. And I was reminded, because I had that page open as he was reading. And those were the words that the Ethiopian enacts. He was reading those very words, and I was able to explain to him the gospel. And there he was, he was baptized wasn't me. Yeah. I think that's our hope. Here. It's we all sit around this table is that people will hear us folk will hear us and actually come to Jesus. Yeah. That's, that's our call. That's why we sit here is so that the Gospel goes out so that the truth goes out. Scripture goes out so that people can come into relationship to one true God, thank
Reverend Ben Cooper:you, Jesus. And
Andy Hammond:I say to everyone out there, if you're listening to us today, if you are coming to know God, maybe for the first time, this is the day, don't delay, this is the day that God has set aside for you to come into relationship with him. And you just need to sit, ask Him into your life. And He will be with you. He will never forsake you. And he will walk with you from now on. Because Stefan do that.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Thank you, Jesus, not just a con men, thank you fine. Sisters and brothers, we're gonna about seven minutes or so before we come to the table. So we're just continuing to be as we are in Scripture and in prayer, and we just thank God for redemption. You know, we are all saved, but I can Can I just take us to the book of Joshua moment. Joshua, chapter three, there's a line in there as the text in there, Joshua, chapter three, verse 14, and it says, so when the people broke, camped across the Jordan, we are seeing a lot of breaking of camp at the moment. And I pray that wherever you aren't, don't worry about they had to break camp because they had to move forward. But there's a there's a situation that is arising in many areas of life at the moment, churches are breaking camp, you know, ministers are breaking camp, there is a move political areas of breaking camp, you know, and I really believe God is pouring out His Spirit. You know, I believe we're in Joe, I believe we're in Acts, you know, that that great prophecy, that great word that came over in the last days I will. And that's what that's where we are, I really believe that we're in this I will position I will pour out my spirit. But amongst the point out, there is almost a strange sensation of a breaking of camp. And what is that breaking off tradition? You know, this, this what we're looking at in Joshua, it says it says that people broke camp to cross the river Jordan, the priests were carrying the Ark of the Covenant went ahead of them, the word is ahead of us. The word is ahead. The word has gone before. And then if we bounce back into the New Testament, where it says, when they went ran down to the tomb of Christ, the Borah term, and the angel said, he's not here he has arisen. Why are you looking for the living among the dead? It's time to break away from religion. It's time to move out brothers and sisters, it's time to stand up for Jesus Christ. And I'm not talking about get yourself a sandwich bowl and go and stand on the street corner. I'm just, I'm speaking. As in Yes, I believe, Lord, my faith has been shaken. I've been shaken. I've been rocked a little bit for everything that's going on. But Lord, Greater is He that is in me than he knows in the world. So we are seeing a lot of camps being broken up. But there are many people that just want to stay in their tent. It's time to come out on a tent, you know, in the Old Testament where it says God rained manna from heaven. He did not put the manner in their tent. They had to stretch out there's a stretching out. I've got stretch out and receiver, faith and actions. Lord, I believe in your Word. Lord, I thank you for that for church. I thank you for the framework and the buildings of church. So thank you for that. But Lord, I'm a believer So Lord, in my workplace, this is this church with me today, Lord on the school run this church today, Lord, I'm walking today this church, I'm in the gym today, Lord, this church, wherever I am, the kingdom of God is wherever God is. The kingdom of God is wherever I am, and there's community and there's believers. That's the body of Christ. We belong to a body There is a breaking of camps. There are many camps being broken up. And there are many camps that are being led by force leaders. We got to be very careful. Got to be very careful, we are on well, I'll put it in a worldly way. We are on a knife edge. We are on a knife edge, and we got to hold it. We got to stay where we are, stay exactly where we are. Just focus on Jesus. The Bible says Hebrews chapter 12, verse two, keep your eyes on Jesus. Now, now is a time just keep your eyes on him in the word in the word in the Word. If you're at work, get yourself some headphones, listen to the word from the electronic devices that we have. Get the word in our hearts, our spirit, our mind, our body, our soul, the word of God, when we're driving home or wherever we commute into. There are so many easy ways to get the word of God and we don't need to be sitting down reading it, we can hear it, put it put it on your on your gadgets, or download the verses of the day, download the Bible. Let's get the Bible in our hearts. Let's get the word of God. You know, I believe God is calling us to the Word of God. Not back to religion. But there is a breaking of camp, there is a break, there is a break in. And within the breaking of camp we have felt very strange. And the breaking of camp I really believe started when Boris said Turkey, the very part of lockdown there was a break in of camp, the key was turned and there was a breakup and there was a strange presence, there was a strange understanding. And we cannot go back to Pharaohs way of living. If you are a son of the living God or a daughter of the living God, now the just shall live by faith. living by faith. I cannot go back to baking bricks, it will kill me. It will destroy me. It will crush me. But Jesus says verse 28, as well as in this morning, Matthew chapter 11. Come to me, all of you that are weary and tired of baking bricks for Pharaoh, or you're tired of the system or you're weary of work, or you're just weighed down with so much problems and issues come to me. But there's got to be a breaking of camp. There's got to be a break in of camp, you can imagine there was probably a few in that camp that didn't want to break the camp up. We don't want to break this camp up. There has to be a break point. There has to be a point. We're getting ready to cross over to Jordan, spiritually we are dry. We are thirsty. This nation is spiritually thin, not because God has left us, but because the system has tried to push him out. But there's a wave. There's a move. The glory will never leave us His presence is with us. And there is like a volcanic reaction at the moment under the earth. There's a bubbling, there's a move. There's the presence, there's the glory, there's the love of God, God is with you. And there is an eruption about there's almost like a fracture. You know, when the tectonic plates move. It takes a while for the outside surface to see what has happened in the deep. There is a lot happening in the deep. There is a lot happening in the deep, and God is moving. God is moving. Do not fear. Danny's got saying? Yeah, until they've all got it.
Donny Stockburn:Yeah. Not just a wire life. When we meet Jesus, not just a way of life. Just not a cover. Come on conferences. Yes. But that's not what he is. He's not a cover, or just a way of life. He's a life changer. Yeah, he changes our lives. Everything in our life will be changed. That's part of the painful ness of being a Christian at times is God's changing us. He's transforming us. And we have to go forward for that to happen as we've been speaking about now, we must go forward we must come across over and that's that's God's way for us to be changed. He is a life changer. Of He will never leave us as we are. He saves us yes. But his work is changing us transforming us. God's Spirit at work in us does this a lot and we sometimes resist it. We sometimes even as the as it says in the Bible, the Holy Spirit we quench him, Father God, but you will not change your mind. Because you love us so much. You are a life changer. And Father God we're in for we're in for a life change. Whatever it comes, whether we're crossing rivers of fires or whatever we're in for change law. As Ben said, We don't want to bite BRICS Bank weeks. We want a life change we knew The lifetimes, so far to come with your word, your word, Lord, nothing else. But your word can do this, and heal us, Lord, and transform his father God and breakthrough as people who are in trouble. And those who are, as Andy said, looking at Christ and considering him, you know, being drawn to Him, Lord, that they will see this, that you are a life changer. You can transform everything in our life. And we got the end written already. We've been us forever. We thank you for that, Lord. Amen.
Glenn Walsh:Again, that was led to that book of grace, Romans, Romans one. And when Ben said the righteous will live by faith when it says it there in verse 17, The righteous shall live by faith, amen. When Donnie was talking about God does not affirm us in our brokenness, hallelujah brings us to restoration. And there's so many movements now that trying to phone people in brokenness, and leave them there as prisoners. That is not the gospel. Paul starts in one, verse 16, for I am not ashamed of the gospel, it is, is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes. In it, the righteousness of God is revealed from faith, to faith or from faith, for faith, as the Bible says, it leads us from faith to faith. And here's the book of grace. When a time for the wrath of God. Now, this is what Ben's talking about this tectonic plate this right for the grace of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth, oh, isn't there a suppressing of truth in a day and time isn't there,
Reverend Ben Cooper:there's hundreds of cents I saw, Oh, I'm
Glenn Walsh:just gonna read Scripture and you take it for yourself. So I'm not gonna give my opinion. This is the Word of God. Verse 24. Therefore, God's gave them up in the lust of their hearts, to impurity to the dishonouring of their bodies amongst themselves, because they exchange the truth about God for a lawyer, and worship the creature rather than the Creator, who's blessed forever, amen. For this reason, God gave them up to dishonorable passions of Jesus. So their women exchanged natural relations, for those that are contrary to nature. And the men like likewise, gave up natural relations with women, and were consumed with passion for one another. Men committing shameless acts with men, and receiving in themselves, the due penalty for that ever. And then down to verse 32. And this is for you and me, brothers and sisters, though they know God's decree, that those who practice such things come under judgment. Actually, other translations, they deserve to die. They not only do them, but give approval to those who practice them. What, whatever church you're in, if they're not teaching the Word of God, get out. Oh, man, if they are not teaching, holiness, the way instance and the way to salvation, get out, yes, Do not be unequally yoked. Because this is the judgment. This is the the tectonic shaking that's going on. As for me in my house, we will serve the Lord. I'm not ashamed of the gospel. It's transformed my life. I'm not what I used to be. God's grace has changed, and is changing, and will continue to change me until I see him face to face and then a transformed into His likeness. This is God's word that I've read. I haven't given my opinion on it. Thank you, Jay. Paul from Jesus always said, It is written, He never said I think all I feel no. Okay to fulfill the scriptures. If they're not teaching bodies written, then either go to a social club where they don't either or go to a church that preaches the word of God. That's my opinion.
Donny Stockburn:Amen. Amen to their Thank You, Lord.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Amen. Yeah, just on the strength of that before Andy takes us into the bread and wine. If any of us call ourselves a preacher, or a teacher or a pastor on evangelist or anything, or even as we come down into the congregation, I think, now is the time to be in the Word of God like never before. And we might say, Yeah, well, I'm not a theologian. I'm not a Bible study or anything like that. You know what, in the world of the persecuted church, there are so many in other world religions that don't even know and understand who Jesus was, but he is coming to them in visions and dreams. So what I'm trying to say this morning, it's not about our academic stretch. It's not what our understanding is on church because God is pouring out His Spirit and He is drawing us. But those that are already in the kingdom that are already saved, that may be ministers of the gospel, that may be worship leaders may be drawn to ministry or in congregations. I really believe if we know that we are saved now is a time for being in the Word of God like never before. Because that's where our strength is, we're coming to the table. Keep in the Word, and I'm speaking to me first, May 1, Lord, Lord, keep me in the Word. Take me deeper in the word, Lord, reveal your word to me, Lord, app prayer, I believe the big prayer today is Lord, break all the worldly stuff. And Lord, pour yourself in like never before. So we overflow. Because, Lord, we fill these tectonic plates under our feet shifting. Our brothers are going to take us into the bread and wine and he's going to lead us and then Don will follow in a moment.
Andy Hammond:Thank you. Thank you, Ben. I'm just thinking about what Glen has said. And whilst he was saying that I had, I had the Old Testament book of Haggai, open. And in chapter two, the promise glory of the new house, yes, Father hand. In chapter one, the prophet talks about, you know, people living in their paneled houses, but we got the glory of the of the house is going to be greater. That's coming. And verse six says, This is what the Lord Almighty says, In a little while, I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land, I will shake all nations, desired of all nations. And I will fill this house with glory. So the Lord Almighty, amen. The silver is mine, and the gold is mined. The glory of this President house will be greater than the glory of the former House is alone mighty. And in this place, I will grant peace, declares the Lord Almighty Lord. Well, I think we are seeing a shaking at the moment. There is a sharp we just we just seen. And there's this promise. Just you know, have a look at this prophecy in Haggai. For yourselves, read it, contemplate on it. And see what God says to you. He will bring you peace, as it says here in in, in the first the last verse that I read from verse nine, in chapter two. And in this place, I will grant peace, declare through Lord Almighty, and as we come to the bread and the wine, we just thank Jesus for what he accomplished on the cross. That peace that we can have when we come before Him. And we can say, thank you, thank you, Lord, for what you've done. And we take this bread together. And we just give thanks for that body that was broken, so that we could live. Amen. Amen.
Donny Stockburn:Thank you for that, Lord. I just want to remind you of some of the words God's spoken over us. In his eyes, I 43. And he's speaking to a church to a people that had been disobedient and they were in exile. But this is his word to them. It says the God of loves us so much. Just want to remind you on a few points there. It says, The Lord says I was the one who created you. I am the one who redeemed you. I am the one who is called you by your name. You are mine gave Egypt for your Vensim and Ethiopia and Seba in your price since you were precious in my sight. You have been honored and I have loved you. That's the word of God. That's not some gurus version on peace as the word of God the unchangeable undisputable unchallengeable Word of God, and is forever and ever and ever. And God speaks that word to us right now, in this day. And I just want to go on Grace again, Romans 614. This is the grace we live under is, this is the grace of God saves us For sin shall no longer be your master. Because you are not under the law. And it's requirements any longer. Instead, you live under the Freedom of Christ. For the small body, this is my blood given for you. This is Christ. This is the grace and five of God, that he would give his son, the whosoever will come to him, can be saved, whosoever. He said whosoever would come, let him come and drink the waters of life. This is free, this crisis free. This is a word of God. He loved the world so much that He gave us his only Son, Lord, which is drawn nearer to you now in thanks gratefulness for his fantastic grace that we live under, in the name of Jesus, Alana.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Thank you, father. Thank you, Lord. Let's just take a moment. You know, I think it's very relevant that we just pray for number 10 Downing Street. And what's happening, I think it's just, you know, not that we got any political standpoints. That's not what this is about whatsoever. We follow the king or not the one just down the road from there either. We follow the King above all kings. But as believers, let's just pray for leadership within the church at the church. You know, let's just take these last four minutes. Just to pray that God will keep us strong, as this great shaking, this great shaking is happening is shaking. So Father, we just pray, Lord, for the leadership of this nation, whether in political areas within education or business, financial, you know, just living just living whatever. And however, that word leadership is used, we pray, Lord, that the power and the glory of God will fall Yes, father on the ministers. Yes. Because your Bible, your Word tells us doesn't speak about politicians, it calls them ministers have this responsibility to look after the people. So Lord, we pray, Lord, for the management of this nation, we pray, Lord, for the structure of this nation, we pray, Father for business we pray, Lord for schools and colleges, leaders, teachers, educators. Lord, we just ask you fathers, we just gather for this, this moment of prayer that you did, God will breathe in every leader. Move, Lord, please move on this nation, as it shakes as it rolls. The turbulence Lord in this nation, we ask You, Father, and we thank you that our feet are upon the rock. We are on the rock. Come, Lord, just a few minutes as we're just in prayer. Thank you, Jesus, thank You, Holy Spirit.
Donny Stockburn:You follow my play for the those in in Downing Street now, Father God and supposed to be running the country. I pray Father God that you will do to them what you did to me or did to us in this room, Father God, that you will show us that there is no peace. There is no purpose, there is no joy. There is no order. Without God.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Thank you, Father.
Donny Stockburn:Here's the answer is a creator is the maker. Father, I pray that these truths you will download into them now Lord, one truth that I will not be able to stone aside from Lord that I will have to face, Father God with you or without you. But with you there is joy in life and truth and older, a purpose and reason, a future only with Jesus. I pray this truth Lord will be unshakable in our lives. Father God that they will have it as we have it in here now. And I asked you in Jesus name, Amen.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yes, Lord in a stillness, just in this stillness, Lord as we Are we close in a few moments. But Lord just because we disappear from the table Lord, you never close. You're always there Lord just because we walk away and go back into whatever we go back into. Lord, you keep moving, Lord, you don't stop moving. Lord you're you're everywhere you're in all your time itself your your everything So Lord, I pray Lord for Glen and Donnie, and your myself and everybody in this church that's behind the scenes that are doing and all the stuff that's going on Lord, the frontline missional activity that's going on here, father, just pray for those Lord and, and everybody that's online, or those that will capture this late later today or this broadcast, or pray for those Father God that are just just wherever they are. It's that simple. We just pray Lord for humanity today. We pray for this nation, Lord, that this shaken you can feel the you can feel the undercurrents of the earth, you can feel this grown you can you can sense the pain and the anguish and the terror in almost Father God of of system has been torn into Father, I thank you that there is peace in Christ, as well as in the Gospel of Matthew chapter 11. And we've been in the Old and the New Testament this morning. God has led our brothers and opened our hearts to the Word of God today. And we thank God for your life. So wherever you are, I pray that as the scripture says, Come to me, all of you that are weary and heavy laden, I will give you rest. Christ will give you rest. We're going to ask the end if he would just take one moment. And just tell us about the Bible's before we before we disappear before we go.
