Reverend Ben Cooper:

Good morning. Well God bless you wherever you are. We thank you so much for joining us today it is # Christians straight talk it is Thursday morning. It is the 20th of April, we got Simon on the mics and myself and it is six minutes past 10. Wherever you are across this earth, we've got a little title for you today and it is called many are called, we just want to say thank you to all those in the world of Buzzsprout, Apple Music, Apple podcast, Amazon, you know, all these great platforms that we're streaming from, and all these 1000s of downloads. And we want to thank you so much to everyone on Patreon that is just jumping on Patreon and you can find so much stuff on there. Wherever you are today. We welcome you. And we just say thank you for your lives. And thank you for following us. And for sharing and for walking with us in in all of this stuff that we are doing for these like three or four years now. We've been podcasting together silent Good Morning,

Simon Pinchbeck:

morning benefits greatly back across the market. It's great to be here as a bit of a sun shining out through the Windows run is always better. And you know, we should call ourselves a two old farm dogs things shouldn't wait

Reverend Ben Cooper:

a year, we should work great. What a great title not to bloat from a Bible with two old farm dogs with an old bone wrestling with the bone.

Simon Pinchbeck:

I was trying to leash me to get the sheep in the past.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

We certainly

Simon Pinchbeck:

quick for us. So yeah, now we got a great a great content today. And yeah, and you know, talking about old dogs, you can't teach an old dog new tricks. That's what they say, Ben, but yeah, true, where we're jumping into that platform of Patreon, which is, you know, I would suggest if you just have a look at it and see what you think if you're out there, you know, because it's just a simple matter of downloaded the Python app, looking for # Christian straight talk in the search finder. And I'm gonna look at what we got there. Because there's a lot of content for not much money been in there, not where

Reverend Ben Cooper:

there was, there's a few things you can get, you can get encouragement, you get a couple of extra podcasts, you can get some encouragement, Holy Communion, there's so much stuff on there. And we're stretching our legs on site new trying something different, we feel the Lord has led us to that, which is really exciting, really encouraging. And we just want to emphasize at this moment, all this stuff that we're doing on these platforms will still be the same. We're just going into a little bit further a little bit deeper, try some different waters. At this moment. It's encouraging, it is good, slowly

Simon Pinchbeck:

encouraging. It's exciting because this description, Ben is, is going to help us maintain what we've already got what was done, it's going to really impact the community. Yeah, in this part of the UK politely.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

So it does a lot, doesn't it. So if anybody's out there that wants to come in and work with us, and so into what we're doing, you know, it is going back into the community into the ministry and everything that we support and everything that we do here. So that's why we are doing what we are doing. But those that are on Buzzsprout and Spotify, Amazon, and also Apple podcasts and so many other platforms, we just want to encourage you to to jump over and grab some more content. We thank you so much for the 1000s of downloads. But we're here we're on Elam. We're live streaming I can see people are joining us across and on this platform at this moment in time, and it's 10 minutes past 10. And we welcome you this morning, my god bless every one of you. But we're going to go and we're going to look at the scriptures. We're going to see what God pulls from His Word as we just exercise our faith muscle this morning as we just dive in a little bit deeper. I think this is going to be quite an interesting conversation because the text that we're in is a big text. I'm going to read it. We're in Matthew 24. And Simon, do you want to pick up what the text says?

Simon Pinchbeck:

Yes, Jesus is speaking. He's just, he's just sort of at a real sadness over Jerusalem. Ben, you know, he looked out and he's he's seen Jerusalem and he's been in the temple. And then when he goes into Matthew 24, it says, Then Jesus went out and the party from the temple, and his disciples came up to him to show him the buildings of the temple. So, you know, this was a huge place. Ben, this was a massive place this temple wanted. Solomon. It's absolutely huge and and Jesus said to them, Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you Do not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall be not frowned down. Well, they couldn't get their heads around that at this moment in time, Ben because he talking about because what he's talking about is the I think, what do you think when he's talking about the establishment, there's the the things that the world has built the foundations on. Exactly. And these are going to be shaken. And what's happening been,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

it's been shaped because there is a great falling away. We're seeing religion shaking, we're seeing political stuff shaken. We're seeing the whole globe is being shaken and what we are seeing those that are being shaken, they're not actually admitting there's a shaking going on there. Hold on. They're trying to bolster up everything trying to keep the walls still up, put. Nothing's fine, everything is okay. But there is a great shaking. There is a great awakening

Simon Pinchbeck:

from the foundation of every thing of the world. Yeah, what the world is built or what a world stands on. And they're all turned against

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Jesus. So that you can come to that scripture, then it where it says that the rain will fall, the streams will rise. If you build on sand, you will fall with a great crash. But if you build upon the rock, if the world continues to build on sand, it is going to fall when's it going to fall, it will start to crumble even send denominations crumbling because they're building on sand. You need to build upon the rock, the rock of ages, Jesus says it very clear. When the man went to build his house. If you build your house, and your foundations are on the rock, you'll be able to stand the weather that is coming your way and the wind is changing direction every day, isn't it the rain is coming at full pelt.

Simon Pinchbeck:

And there's people looking at going

Reverend Ben Cooper:

sunshine and it's raining. The spiritual atmosphere. I don't like using that word. But the that there is that there is this this presence around us at this moment that is very unfamiliar, unsettling move that we're thinking what is going on in the world. And I believe that it is raining that we've never seen rain before the spiritual rain is coming. The Bible says in the in the book of Jawa and the book of Acts in the last days, I'll pour out my spirit on all flesh. So we are experiencing God moving like we've never seen it before. But also as God moves, you know, you've got the world pushing against it. We're getting ready for the Antichrist. So there is a great shake shaking. So what are you building on?

Simon Pinchbeck:

So yeah, what are you building on us? That's, that's a great point, Ben. So, you know, things are getting bad because things are getting good or things are getting good because things are getting better. I don't know. But but you know, as a Christian, and with our feet firmly roots firmly in the Scripture, it's this, you know, there's gonna be a push back, that's for sure. But it's exciting times when

Reverend Ben Cooper:

it's powerful times is really encouraging time times. Yeah. And what we're seeing is the prophecies of old the prophecy has been fulfilled, for the signs of the times. And we pray that every one of us will go Do you know what this is a great time to be alive because what at what is happening in politics, what is happening in the world of wars, rumors of wars, it has only been spoken about and they are only doing it because the Bible is prophesied. So we've got nothing to be fearful of. So we've got everything to be joyful because the Bible is correct.

Simon Pinchbeck:

We go on with that scripture man and it's now as he sat on the Mount of Olives His disciples came to him privately saying tell us when these things will be and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age and he goes on to cite or he says Take heed that no one deceives you for many will come in My name saying I am the Christ and deceive many with me been

Reverend Ben Cooper:

many will come in My name yeah every denomination is almost same WE ARE WE ARE THE CHURCH we are we are we have everything God is with us and God is with no one else. You know so the when someone says that we are you gotta be really careful loving you. Because it's putting yourself right at the forefront right at the top of the tree but the Bible also says be careful that no one deceives you through what false teaching while also

Simon Pinchbeck:

been you know you there's a lot of this stuff specially online where were people, men and women are being raised up by nine. Yeah, you can't raise yourself up. They're being raised up on people called Did you Did you hear what he said? Did you? Are you following this guy? You're following that guy? And all of a sudden, in I've got that people are going watch him watch him. Well, yeah, hold on a minute. Hang on a minute. Let me just let me read the Bible

Reverend Ben Cooper:

is the person if the preacher or the teacher, or the ones that are delivering a message, if they're taking it to Jesus, there should be no eyes on the person. It should be all about Jesus Christ that that is the key. Every preacher and teacher should take you to one place and that place is Jesus. Well,

Simon Pinchbeck:

we say this a times we've said it and we'll continue to say on this platform because we are cutting through religion, and we're getting straight to the truth. And that's what we call ourselves, you know, the barrel of truth. And the truth is if, if the signpost is pointing to a person, or a chair, watch out, because the signpost has to be pointing to Jesus,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

it's all about Jesus Christ. And that's what he's saying there, you know, watch out the stones are going to fall that the temples are gonna be turned over, you know, and it's all about the foundation. What are you building on? Are you building on Jesus? Are you building on the world, you're building on sand, you can't, we can't escape the fact that that that great, great story that Christ was delivering, you know, that that man went and built his house, and it one built on sand on one built on the rock and the same situation came to same. The front doors, both homes, the same scenario, the same situation, the same time, the one that survived was building on the rock, you know, Jesus Christ is the rock of all ages. It's raining, and it's we're at full flood stage, the streams are rising according to the Word of God. And what does it mean? It means the trouble as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be at the end, and the coming of the one like the Son of Man? Well, he

Simon Pinchbeck:

says, it goes on to say but and you will hear wars and rumors of wars, which you know, we alluded to, and see that you're not troubled for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom and there will be families pestilences famine, sorry, pestilences and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. We've seen all that. Now, of course we are. And then he says, then, you know what? Number nine is, is all that sort of stuff. And then then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you and you will be hated by all nations for my namesake. Well, quite frankly, Ben, there's been a real Jesus, revulsion, not a revolution or revulsion there as yet. Because, you know, as Christians, you know, we fall under the authority of Jesus Christ. And as we've said before, there's people out there that don't want to be under that authority. They think man is the man is the ultimate authority. Yeah. And so they're pushing the word of Jesus, the Word of God. out that's right away, and it's come in, through media. It's coming through every TV's program. I was watching a Sunday, something last night. A thing that's, that goes into some sort of industrial espionage, that sort of thing. And all of a sudden, for no reason whatsoever. The guy just explained to us when Jesus Christ, yeah, yeah, no reason whatsoever. Now I looked at my wife, and I said,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

there we go. There you go. So they won't say that about Allah or they won't say about Buddha. They won't say that about any other foreign god. It's always they referenced Jesus Christ, isn't it? And then when you when you look at the scriptures that were in an inverse, if you if we were to look at this and verse, well, you could read it again, from verse four. It says, Jesus had to watch out that no one deceives you, we've got so much deception, and there almost is as much deception in religion in certain areas of church through trying to bend and move God's Word into certain teachings to adapt to what the world wants, and what and what governments want. So there is a lot of deception coming from pulpit, where there's no sound doctrine, the UK, because very simply, isn't it?

Simon Pinchbeck:

Because if you stand out for the true gospel, the truth, the truth, the biblical truth, if you if this is that your biblical word of God is sovereign, then in a lot in many places, you're getting canceled in many places. Yeah. It's called hate speech. You can't stand that for what you believe in but they can stand up

Reverend Ben Cooper:

for what we say a lot in schools. We're seeing a lot in Spain, they

Simon Pinchbeck:

believe in and you know, so, you these people in in pulpits are, are embracing the world because they want they don't want any any uncomfortableness do they don't want they don't want any aggro they don't want any any persecution if you like they want to just instead of being the rock that stands against stuff and says no, this is this is not right. This is bending with it is leaning witness embracing it but not just leaning with its brilliance embracing it with both arms.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

And when you look at the when you look at that word, sound doctrine, we need real sound doctrine within the church to be able to know that when the flood of life When the wind comes when the storms arise, that we know that athlete upon the rock and when we know that when deception comes through false teaching, but when you look at what's happening in the church and, and everything that they're trying to manipulate and trying to shape, they're trying to take the pronouns, they're trying to take our father out of the Lord's Prayer, there's so much going on under the table that we don't realize within certain denominations, you know, trying to move Jeet removed Jesus Christ from from the church, but this is nothing new under the sun is nothing

Simon Pinchbeck:

new Ben and it was all biblical. Jesus goes on to say bunnies, and then many will be offended and betray one another, and will hate one another. And this is what exactly what's happening through the Christian denominations, the Christian faiths, and you know, your neighbors, all that sort of thing that people that you know, you know, if you're standing up for stuff all of a sudden, you know, they might fall out with you. And that's what's happening then, then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound a lover many will go crawled. Well, if you look across the world, especially across our brothers who are listening to us in the States, there's absolute mayhem in a lot of the cities over there, lawlessness is just grip it is everywhere. Our country because this, there's no justice anymore. There's

Reverend Ben Cooper:

no I'm waiting for that to happen here. Actually, when you look at what's going on across the UK, all the ripples and all the all the earth tremors that are just starting up for this big earthquake, I think, what's going on, I think there's gonna be some serious repercussions of what's happening in the UK. Because we got no sound, no clear, no clean, strong leadership, everything is woke, everything is soft, everything is pink, and fluffy, and all feathers, and right we need we need strong truth. We need men that will lead us We need men that will lead us by the word of God, we need women that will lead us we need these leaders that will rise up in the end now because the Bible says in the last days, God will pour out His Spirit on all flesh. Well, God is raising up I

Simon Pinchbeck:

mean, that is when we said that last week. And if you didn't, if you missed last week's podcast, I'd invite you to go and catch it. Because, you know, no longer are the 10 commandments sovereign in a national nananana it's the humanistic 10 commitment things you know, although I did, I did catch a, an interview with one of the top politicians in Hungary the other day, and these might ease they have standing firm against everything, how they really we don't have the word of woke in our country. What is that? What is that and they standing firm, and they really believe Yeah, they're standing firm, on their religious on their Christian religious values. But so but there's, so he's is painting a real picture of what ended a world is looking like, but then he goes on to say, but he enjoys till the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to the nations and the end will come. So there's good news.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

There's good news. At the end, there's good news that the anchors Jesus Christ is coming. And there is so much in the text that we've just quickly skipped through. When you look at that. I think it's really important to know that there is good news at the end, there is so much good news at the end. But I think it's really important. If you are out there listening to us, whether you're in the podcast world, whether you're on Patreon, whether you're capturing this through Buzzsprout, all these platforms that this is coming for. I think it's really important that we understand that we have got to be in the Word of God as the individual we got to be studying, we got to be reading, we got to be in prayer, we got to be in worship to Christ, we got to be fasting. You know, we got to be at this we got to be sharp like an arrow because what we can't allow is verse four, because if verse four happens in the in chapter 24, it froze everything out. And what's happening we are seeing is a lot of deception through the generations that are come through for the name and climate, the prosperity gospels, all that sort of stuff that's out there, and it's taken a lot of Christians and it has really damaged them and it was bruised and brutally

Simon Pinchbeck:

Well Ben Paul says Esteli in two Thessalonians three or four he says that there'll be a great fall away it's because they call it the Great Apostasy don't as it falls away and a lot of that is to do exactly what you said. Because people out there going to certain churches have been sold a lie. Yeah. And suddenly when it's the fan suddenly wins. Yes. When you're what you're saying when that when the storms come, they're going out and sign up for this. Yeah, I paid me money I expect and I've accepted Jesus.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Well, I got a bingo, Jesus.

Simon Pinchbeck:

And I didn't sign up for this. Yeah, no, no, I'm not having this. I'm not having that. You know, I've got things out in your family what? It's all breaking out all over the place. Yeah, no, no, I'm just gonna leap back into the world because that's where I feel

Reverend Ben Cooper:

I'm going back fishing. I'm

Simon Pinchbeck:

never been introduced the true gospel. They've never introduced the nope been sold that you've got to put your surrender. total surrender, you got to put the hard graft in. Yeah, in getting into the internet, the word of God, get in get completely, totally surrendered. Don't it's not talking about surrendering. A couple of quid to your pastor now was, you know, because things are coming. You know,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

the streams are really rising. So verse four, is a foundational text as Christ is really telling us something so much that watch out for no one to deceive you, for many will come in My name, what we got 2526 20 30,000 denominations across the globe, and all grown all the time, and they are coming in my name claiming I am Jesus. We are the church. We are this we are that. And it says and will deceive many. So that is a critical statement from Christ. That is a really important one for me and for you. And for every one of us this morning to understand I've got to make sure that I'm in sound doctrine, because in the UK, in England at this moment, we have a government that can't lead us we have a government that can't make clear decisions. We've got a church, a massive percentage of church and religion all falling into one. And what we need are Christian leaders that will rise up in the name of Jesus, preach the Word of God without any error whatsoever. And let the word of God or so we need to pray as a nation and as believers that God will raise up Bible believing teachers that will teach the gospel of Jesus Christ because many have come in His Name and claimed

Simon Pinchbeck:

well we're going to speak about that but it's not just the UK it's for our brothers and sisters across across the whole most definitely especially in the United States. I know it's something you know I look at and watch what's going on over there in the various states and and they've got it far worse than what what than what we think we've got it so it's all over the place. But interestingly enough, Ben that Paul says Danny says it too, in, in felonious to want us alone is two three or four it's called a great apostasy says now, brethren concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to him we asked you not to be not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or word or by letter as if from us as though the day Oh Christ had come, let no one deceive you by any means for that day or not come unless the fallen away comes first. And the man of sin is revealed. So So he goes on to talk about the mana petition, the you know, the Antichrist. So this is happening this all what's happening now is predicted in, in the Bible, Ben and but there's great news for this house.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Powerful knows there's hope. There's hope. There's hope. And we want to encourage you, we really want to encourage you. And if you really want to see some encouragement, it might sound a bit strange, but have a look at the persecuted church, there is 360 million persecuted Christians within that movement, the underground church, that church that is growing that shirt to the spirit filled, but he's being persecuted. And that's where verse nine comes from, that we're looking for. And it says, And they will hand you over to be persecuted and put to death. And you will be hated by all nations, the nations that are rising against Christianity, but there's hope.

Simon Pinchbeck:

Well, when it's hopeful, where we're seeing hope and is if I think if you if you think ah, this is overwhelming me I can't just even you know, I can't I'm nothing I can't do crushing me. This whole thing is overwhelming me. I can't do anything. I am nothing I've achieved nothing. I can't do nothing. Then you're in a good place for the Lord really because what the laws what? What he says in one Corinthians one but he says, God who used the foolish things allow the world to be conformed to why so he's gonna take your nothingness. Yeah, cuz they are given for His glory. So when we say God's gonna Raise men and women who will do and it's you who were talking to it's you on the other end of this on this podcast you that we're talking to So be encouraged is Don't look for, for someone to jump up and leave. Look to yourself because you're doing to what God is doing through you let the light shine out of you and God will use you to put shame to the mighty to put shame to people coming against your kids in school to put shame all over the place. God has showed a world your weakness. Yeah, so choose your god or choose You bet.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

You talking about the word choose God chose Sol Sol, who became Paul. And in two Corinthians chapter seven, verse five, he says, We came into Macedonia, we had no rest. But we was harassed at every turn, conflicts on the outside, and we had fears within. So this man had the great calling on his life, he went in, and they went to Macedonia, and they had no rest. He was exhausted, if you're tired, and you're weary, you've only got to study this man, Paul, because God used him in such a powerful way. And just because God is using us, doesn't mean to say the road is always going to be easy, because he says, We had no rest. We was harassed at every term conflicts on the outside and fears within this is a human being that had been called by growth called by God, and what we need to get encouraged from this morning, wherever you are across this earth, whatever your life looks like God is working in your life, God is with you in every situation, every circumstance be encouraged in the awkwardness of just living the conflicts.

Simon Pinchbeck:

What we're saying today is if you're sitting there on the other end of this podcast and you and you think my life starts at foolish and ends in nothing, thank you, you're somewhere in between, then you qualify your quality God is with you to be used by our Lord.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

And that comes to a place of being surrendered and allowing God to work in you and through you and coming to a place of almost like the prodigal son going you know what, I've come to my senses that this world is meaningless. Like the book of Ecclesiastes is not there is nothing new under the sun, everything is meaningless. The only purpose I have is to serve and to be a servant of the most high Jesus Christ

Simon Pinchbeck:

and so our Heavenly Father is going to use as yeah to testify to other people in you don't need sometimes don't even have to speak is going to use your life to testify to other exactly what he does know take my life for example, I was the lowest lowest I'd have been there was people coming after me from all different sides I'd you know, I would wreck my marriage, I'd done all sorts of things now, Ben, to be honest with you know, Scripture was going to turn me around and now sermon was going to turn me around and, and no reasoning was going to turn me around what turned me around was the was looking at a man's life who, who had been through the mill, it had been a nasty bit of who turned his life around through his faith in Jesus Christ. That's what I thought if God can change him,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

if God can do it for me, God can do it for any

Simon Pinchbeck:

assignment view Ben's assigned to you was on a building sites and you want a life you'd want it around, you'd grown down, follow many Cody's accent, yeah, my goodness, but it's just fine for us. But, and then we see the difference that Jesus has made. This is what's going on. This is what Jesus says, preach the gospel to the ends of the earth. That's what he means Ben, what God

Reverend Ben Cooper:

can do through you and whoever you are on the other side of these mics at this moment in time, whatever your life has been, like, whatever your life looks like, at this moment, you know, God is with you. And we want to encourage you this morning to never give up. You might be like Paul, there might be things breaking out in your life. There might be conflicts on the outside. There might be staff you might be if you look at two Corinthians If you want to reference this morning, this man was used so powerfully by God. He was used in such an interesting way. He says we came into Macedonia, two Corinthians chapter seven, verse five, we had no rest, but we was harassed at every turn conflicts on the outside fears within but he was encouraged because God was with him. This man had been shipwrecked

Simon Pinchbeck:

bison. Let's go back just two chapters. Go back to one of the most defining scriptures in the whole of the Bible, Ben and this is for for you out there listening to this pulpit encourage it's two Corinthians 517. And you know what that is? It says it says Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation beautiful. Passed away behold, all things are become known. That was that was me that was you. Were a new creation. Yeah. Christ, you're not the old person that you used to be. It's all gone your your example and your very lives, I will turn this thing around or attract people to you and that's our we're gonna save people from this hell of this whole yet. So what's going on you? I just I just see people pulling people out of holes or pulling people out of from the fire or pulling people out because they're looking and going, what do I need? What is it? What what is it that I need to do to be saved?

Reverend Ben Cooper:

I think a lot of people in the lions den like, like Daniel was in the lions den. I think there are a lot of people in really hard situations at this moment, looking at their lives, looking at situations thinking, How did I ever get into this position? Why, and How, and you know what, God will close the mouth of the lion, God will get you out of the lion's den, God will get you out of the fire, God will lead you God will guide you, God will strengthen you. But it comes down to following the Word of God and it's it takes a journey, every one of us is on a journey. And that journey can be years of it, it can be God can transform your life and an hour. Or he might use that scenario of the Mayas road where it was a long, long journey and God will take you through many valleys, high points, low points, and he will put you on the potter's wheel. So following Jesus is a very individual journey. But it is the same journey because we have the same God the same thing that is shaping us a Moldiness.

Simon Pinchbeck:

But I think the deal for the people out there Ben is that is that we don't give up. We never give up we get out we are a new creation we if we've accepted Jesus Christ, we've all been a heart of except Jesus Christ. And if we're on the floor, we get up and we show people just by our very lives and actions and that and then got to go get his attention. You know, go oh, I can use him. I can use what she doing. I can use that person and through your very life is an illustration of the gospel.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah, what God can do to anyone. It's amazing how God works and speaks through and so often we have to go through the garden first we have to go through the pot as well. But be encouraged wherever you are this morning across this Earth God is with you. Whatever your circumstances look like whatever your life looks like however you feel this morning, there are new beginnings for you wherever you are at work at home. If you've got areas in relationship you've got cultural situations breaking out the children at school, so many things are happening you know we are living in great and we are living in really strong biblical times and the word of God is alive. And it is sharper than a double edged sword and God loves you whoever you are this morning God loves you and there is hope for you and you never give up the strings might be rising the rain might be falling but you know what build your life upon the rock Jesus Christ and

Simon Pinchbeck:

when we're weak was strong with Jesus so we are I think we absolutely are nothing without him but we're everything with him and I would implore people Yes, we'd need to get into the Word of God yes, we need to get our scriptures but just by absolutely walking and sometimes you have a smile on your face in troubled times you were you're a witness to other people because other people will go I mean like I did the piece that was on this guy if I was wrecked and I've got when I want to be that piece of

Reverend Ben Cooper:

work What have you got? I'm What have you got the arm Mrs.

Simon Pinchbeck:

I'm nothing I'm on the floor. But you you've got this piece of area where do I get that? That's what I'll draw people to and don't forget the Holy Spirit or put it on people's hearts because you are Jesus.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

You're the Yeah, you are his ambassador. You are in the

Simon Pinchbeck:

ambassadors. We are the ambassadors of the kingdom and and when you when people see you with hope when people see you you know moving around we've we've stripped and

Reverend Ben Cooper:

yeah, just living just living just try and you know, there is no one perfect there is only one and his name is Jesus Christ. And you might be like this person in Matthew chapter seven verse 24 to 27 I'm gonna read this in it is in entirety. This scripture Therefore anyone who hears these words of mine, and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house upon the rock. The rain came down the strange roads the wind blew against that house, but it did not fall. Its foundations are on the rock. But anyone who hears these words of mine that does put some into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down the strange road and the wind blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crack. If you live for Jesus, your walk with Jesus, and your smile and your Sage, you know what I'm never given up. I'm never given up because my feet affirm upon the rock. I'm on Jesus. I mean, Jesus, I'm a conqueror. Look what it says nothing can separate us, Simon, nothing can separate us from the love of God.

Simon Pinchbeck:

And moving on from that then if we if we don't fall on the rock, which is Jesus, yeah, the rock wall crushes or crushes you fall on the rock with you, Jesus this morning and let him build you up. Because to bring you on what I can't stress it enough but bring this bring on nothingness to bring everything to the cross, because who do we think we are? Well, absolutely nothing you know, it says in our desire Ben that our best works are like filthy rags done it, you know, so we are absolutely nothing with Jesus, but he can do a wander through you, he can do an amazing work through you. And, you know, we're not talking about you, you know, going off and forming this ministry in that ministry. Now we're talking about you where you are in your nine year life, that is your that is your mission field. That's your DeRosa and these people around you are what is not, you know, listen, there's very few people the Lord calls to go off to, to far out countries and do this now. He got to know your calling, you got to know your calling Ambit, you've got to really be in the wheelhouse of Jesus Christ, and you've been the will of God. And when you you're in the will of God, you will see doors won't just open there'll be flung open.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

That's the thing. Yeah. When you're when you're in the garden or gift seminar, you're seeking the will of the Father, and be encouraged. If you're on the pot as well, this morning, you know, build your life upon Jesus Christ, walk for him, stand tall for him. Believe in the Word of God. It's about believing, because the belief, that's where the power is, in believing that God is turning my life around God is removing me from this scenario, that situation out of that place, God has got better things for me. But I just gotta keep walking. You know, and it's really important. Psalm 119, you know, your word is a lamp to my feet, a light for my path, he will make a way in the darkness,

Simon Pinchbeck:

when he will bend. And the thing is, while you're going through all that, and people will recognize that because people who are who are in the world, a secular world is being it all over the place, and they get indefinite from from. And as we, as Jesus said, The foundations have been being rocked. And what you're going through that if you if you shout a light at Jesus, Matthew five, six, and if you shout a light to glorify God, people will go, Oh, hold on. I'm, I'm in trouble here. But But look, I've got the same trouble as me and you agree probably even worse than me. But you're doing it with a smile on your face do with peace, there's a piece about your Where's that coming from? I think

Reverend Ben Cooper:

that was everybody's looking for peace and rest. And the place that we find that is obvious is through Jesus Christ for the Father and Son, the Holy Spirit. And that can only be achieved by coming to the cross of Calvary. And just giving yourself to Jesus, you know, your life might change within a second or your it might take years, it might take months, it might take hours, it might take a lifetime, for God to work because God works very differently with us. We're all at different stages at different levels at different motions. But God be encouraged this morning, that God is with you. And God is working with you. The world is being shaken. The situation's around US government's education, business, the monarchy, the church, everything is being shaken. So hold tight.

Simon Pinchbeck:

So Ben, the question is to a lot of people is in a lot of people's How can I be used? How can I tell people about Jesus? Well, it's simple to me, you do it, your life should be a mirror of Jesus, that's that's where we should be a reflection of we wake up every morning for ourselves before the cross, like you quite rightly said, coming for a cross and go farther, you know, not my will. But your will be done. And who do you want me to speak to today? And it might just be one person for 30 seconds.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

It might well be something so simple.

Simon Pinchbeck:

Talking about being the Alpha and the Omega No, we're talking about just a 32nd conversation or a 32nd encouragement. How many times you go and get your coffee, and you just say to someone Oh, where are you this morning?

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah, blessings, and just start this conversation. Just start a conversation at work.

Simon Pinchbeck:

Yeah, wherever just a little encouragement for people because it don't happen. It don't happen. Encouragement doesn't happen. And people go look at you on a go. Chin I wanna there's somebody tell me more about what you got, you know

Reverend Ben Cooper:

what's going on in your Like, you get in for us, you know,

Simon Pinchbeck:

and then, you know, once you've got that door open,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

yeah, that that door opens. And then the Bible

Simon Pinchbeck:

clearly tells us, don't worry about what to say, because the Spirit will give it to you the word

Reverend Ben Cooper:

the word fills us, you know, out of your belly shall flow rivers are living water. So if you're ever in that situation, the Bible says, just let let your light shine. And that light is Jesus Christ, God created the heavens and the earth and he said, Let there be light and there was light is greater than any darkness. Darkness only exists because it's the absence of light. So when you as a Bible believing believer walk into that dark area and that light within you shines, you are lighting up that dark place and there are people around you that are going to say to you comes what have you got?

Simon Pinchbeck:

There's a there's a phrase and I've been in it, you know is complying and remain or right here and be raised now. You can be doing something you think is forgotten but grumbling you could be grumbling about so where you're gonna go with that, you're gonna go no, no. Now in this hub that we've got here, you you know you're feeding you know, literally 1000s of people every month and you know, if people who were in the food up did it with Oh, you are? Oh, yeah. What do you want? No, no, don't take that. But did it with a bad heart, Ben? Reflection, is it so they have to show Jesus in everything they do that the Bible

Reverend Ben Cooper:

is very clear. It says Let everything that you do, do it in love. Do whether your enemies before you. If your enemy is hungry, feed them. If your enemy is firstly, give them a drink. If your enemy is cold, give them your coat. If the enemy slaps you, let them slap the average you've got to do everything in love but in but we're not talking about that Chuck away your worldly love. We're talking about that Agha pay love, that love that we see at the cross of Calvary Father, forgive them for they know know what they do

Simon Pinchbeck:

better the people who come here ain't the enemy, you know? So, so what we got to do is embrace them. So what we're talking about is, is what are you relate to? Yes. Right. And and, and the Lord says, And the Bible says that, that everything we do do it because it's for the Lord. Now if you're doing it for the Lord, you're doing it we're happy are telling you you're not

Reverend Ben Cooper:

doing it because God has called you to do not doing it with a with an attitude, you

Simon Pinchbeck:

know what he would like now, even even if your stuff you got to do at work stuff like do wherever you are doing it with a with a godly, Jesus filled attitude. It might, you might have to, you know, put in a lot of prayer, you know, and certainly some people are coming in life or press your buttons because the enemy will send a couple and they'll press your buttons but do it in love not You said it's really,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

really important that we everything that we do we operate, we walk in love in the ACA pay love, that love that is not of the world, that love that is not explainable by the world that love that, that you can only deliver what God has called you to deliver because you've got the love of God and the love of Christ in you. And God will put you in certain arenas in your life where you'll go to the water's edge of life, and God will take you to the Jordan, the River Jordan and he will expect you to stand in that. But to stand in that in faith wherever you are this morning. We want to encourage you, you never give up. Do everything you do do it in love. Because love just destroys the work of the enemy. If you've got people in your life that are causing your trouble, pray for them. Just pray the love of God over them. And you know what? You will watch people disappear out your life, you will watch situations disappear out your life. When you pray for those that bring in trouble to your door, you will find there are miracles just waiting to happen. stuff will go on behind the scenes that you won't ever know you don't even know errors as the truth. And you look at the look at Psalm 91 What it says,

Simon Pinchbeck:

you know, you and I have been in prayer meetings where people are very vociferous in praying against people you know against you know, pray for them. For them you got to pray for and and you know Lord Bless them Lord bless them and not with great people people not people to get on your nerves that might bend you know

Reverend Ben Cooper:

people yeah human humanity is humanity. And you've only got a look at the disciples there was rumbles with the disciples. There the sons of Fundy there was all things happening. But you know what, if you want peace in your life, look in your to your life and look at those that are helping you and guiding you pray for those. Look at those that are causing you issues. Pray for those. Don't treat anybody different in the prayer room in a boiler room of your life in the prayer room, in that in that place where you you turn over everything that private space. That own space that you have is between you the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, that is the place of exchange, not in the public arena.

Simon Pinchbeck:

As we're coming to the end, we got one we got one opposite come today and then we'll just say like we've been saying all morning really that bring your nothingness to God. You know, yeah, you met Amen. Hallelujah. What did Jesus saw two men at the temple? I don't know. It's a terrible story, but he certainly saw two men. He saw a Pharisee and he's the Pharisees prayer was, oh, Lord, I'm not like fentanyl, you got I'm not like these other people. In you are the tax collector going on and rich, I'm worthless, Lord, you know, I'll, this is where we got to be. And we're not. You know, it's, you know, I mentioned something I mentioned before, as on them, it's not really as on them then because, you know, we are struggling with everything that the world struggles with 100% Just our we deal with it. Yeah. And, uh, you know, wherever it is, we have to stretch out a godly man to do you know, that's the truth. And if it gets rejected, it gets rejected. We don't keep trying, we move on to our next question, but our lives should reflect Jesus Christ.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

talk. wherever you are, across this world. God is with you. You never give up hope in any way, shape, or form. You know, this is a good day, you know, the rain is falling, the streams are rising. But God is with every one of you. And if you've got people in your life you've got wherever your situations are across the earth, and you are worried about certain things. Get into that boiler room of prayer, get into that place of fasting and praying, and you watch the hand of God move. Give your life to Jesus. Give your heart to Christ, all things are possible. To those who believe some are we've reached it. We're at the radar. We love you.

Simon Pinchbeck:

we want to see you again, maybe next time and don't forget, don't forget Patreon. Ben, don't forget, yeah, give that a try. Because you'll support us and we'll support you and you'll be part of our family and unreal, bigger way and you'll be part of something bigger than yourself, which is always

Reverend Ben Cooper:
