Speaker 2Good morning . Good morning , let's turn to the Old Testament . This morning we're turning to the book of Psalms , psalms 130 . If you need a Bible , please grab a Bible from the back of the church . There's plenty of Bibles on the seats as well . That is around us . Grab yourself a Bible , as we always say . You might be wherever . Whatever you may be doing . May God bless you right now , in the glorious name of Jesus .
Speaker 2We're going to Psalms 130 , and we're going to pick it up in verse 5
. We're going to pick it up in just one verse at this moment , just one verse . You know we are living in very , very unusual times , very precarious times . We are living in very strong biblical days . You know the world is moving according to the word we are . You know we are blessed and highly favored . We are wonderfully and fearfully made psalm 130 . You know verse 5 and it says I wait for the lord , my soul waits and in his word I put my hope . When we just look at that word in a moment , when you look , look at those scriptures . This is what I need for my life . This is what I need as a human being , this is what I need as a Bible-believing believer . This is what I need for every area of my life . I need the word of God . His word will sustain us , his word will carry you , his word will strengthen you , his word will help you in times of need , of worry and doubt and uncertainty . It says I wait for the Lord . Do you feel like you're always waiting ? Do you feel like you're just in this position , this posture of just Lord ? I've prayed , I've prayed Lord , I've asked Lord , I've been asking Lord all week , all year . Lord , I keep praying , I keep praying . He says well done , ben , keep going . That's right . Yeah , keep going . Yeah , but , lord , I want it now . But you got to wait because my timings are different to your timings . My thoughts are higher than your thoughts . My ways are beyond your ways .
Speaker 2As the Psalmist writes , he says I wait for the Lord . You know , as we're waiting on the Lord , as I wait , as you wait , as you go through the valley , as you go through different areas of life , psalm 23 , you know , maybe turn to Psalm 23 , that beautiful Psalm 23 . Even though I go through , I'm waiting . God is strengthening me . The Lord is my shepherd . You know six verses of Psalm 23 .
Speaker 2You know , I honestly believe that we are living in in very powerful , strong , biblical times when we are watching the prophecies of old , of of scripture , being fulfilled through what we see in across the world , through Israel , through wars , rumors of wars , famines , plagues , desolations . You know all that stuff . So we got . What are we going to hope in ? What are we hoping in this morning ? What are we waiting for this morning ? Are we waiting for the king ?
Speaker 2You know it can be the most difficult , the most hard it's thing that a human being , or I should say a bible believing believer , can do is to wait patiently for God in the stillness of nothing , when the world is just so loud and so noisy . The motorway life itself , commuting shops , right now . If we could just be lifted up and be looking across the UK , you know , everywhere would be so busy . Everywhere would be so busy . Yeah , the mega church would be brimming over . The smaller church would be struggling in areas , the , the culture of celebrity . We're in a culture of celebrity status , celebrity status , church , mega church .
Speaker 2But we've got an issue in the UK , as we know that there is such a weakness within the church , there is such a weakness within the denominations . We've got to realize that I am a born again , born again believer . I believe in the word , I trust the word . Born again , born again believer . I believe in the word , I trust the word , but trusting and standing on the word , that is very visible , that everything that we do because I see it , it is real , because it's here , it is real , because it's tangible , it is real . But then suddenly we get thrusted into this area of Christianity and I'm very careful how I use that word this day and age , because you can have that word and not even be a Bible-believing believer . We've got to make sure that we tell the world I'm that , john 3.3 .
Speaker 2I'm a born-again Christian . Jesus Christ lives in me . His word is within me . I'm a born-again Christian . I'm not religious . I don't belong to the denomination , I don't belong to pastor , I don't belong to all this stuff . I belong to the kingdom that's been mentioned and prayed about and sung about . I belong to the kingdom . You know there is freedom in the kingdom . The Bible says you'll know the truth and the truth will set you free . You know , palestine is talking about freedom . The flags of all that stuff , everything is talking about freedom . They don't understand what freedom is , because no one understands what freedom is , no one from any culture , from any tribe , from any tongue because freedom only comes .
Speaker 2Freedom doesn't come from having a great job . Freedom doesn't come
from having a great education . Freedom doesn't come from being in a big church , little church , whatever church . Freedom doesn't come from having a great job . Freedom doesn't come from having a great education . Freedom doesn't come from being in a big church , little church , whatever church . Freedom doesn't come from all this stuff . Freedom comes from within and it is only Christ that can set you free , because the material value will not set us free .
Speaker 2The house that we have , the cars that we drive , the area of life , the materialistic way that we are told that we have to live , cars that we drive , the area of life , the materialistic way that we are told that we have to live , will not bring you freedom . It will bring you chains of slavery . It will bring you chains to the government . It will link you to the system of church . It will tie you to religion . It will tie you to systems . It will tie you to number 10 Downing Street . It will tie you to mortgage . It will tie you to getting up and commuting at silly o'clock and doing all this For what ? For the system ? Because we're not free .
Speaker 2You only find freedom in the word of God . You can only find freedom . You know you can have nothing of what the world offers , but when you know who you are in God , you have everything . Because the Bible says seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and everything else shall be added to thee . But the world is upside down to the kingdom of God . And we think that we got to go and get an education and we got to go and do this and we got to go and do that . And we got to build ourselves a castle and we get in the castle and we got the latest TVs , we got new that . And we got to build ourselves a castle and we get in the castle . We got the latest TVs , we got new carpet , we got new sofas , we got all the material trappings .
Speaker 2And then suddenly we realize I'm trapped , I'm a slave to the system and now I have no choice . I've got x amount of earnings that I have to earn , no matter what just to keep this boat floating , when actually you will know the truth , and the truth will set you free . See , religion and church will tie us down . Systems will tie us down , political errors will tie us down . Money , the lack of , and and having it will tie it will . It does so much . If you want to be free , you can only be free in Jesus . You can only be free in Christ . Where do we find this freedom that costs nothing ? Because the price has been paid .
Speaker 2At the cross of Calvary . There was bloodshed at the cross and we put so much weight in materialistic stuff and maybe we do it without realizing that we do it because it's what the crowd does , it's what was expected to do , it's what I must do . It's schools teaching me to do it . The world's showing me I must do it . The world is telling me that we live a life . The UK is very , very powerful in Darwinistic ways .
Speaker 2Survival of the fittest . Trample on whoever you've got to trample on to get to the survival of the fittest . That's not scripture . We've got to live by the word . You've got to live fearlessly in the word . You've got to believe that cancer bows . You've got to believe that sickness goes . You've got to believe that . I'm not relying on money , I'm not relying on the pound , I'm not relying on the car that I drive , I'm not relying on the badge on the front of the car , I'm not relying on the postcode that I live because my self-worth and everything that I've got is in the scripture .
Speaker 2So the Psalmist writes I wait for the Lord . Waiting for God , for the Lord right now , will be the most challenging thing that any believer will ever do , because the world is buying cars , buying houses , going on the holidays , doing this and doing that , and then we are waiting for God . God , what is the next step of my life ? What is the next thing that you have for my life ? Fix your eyes on the author and the perfecter of your faith . Hebrews 12 . See what Hebrews 12 , 1 , 2 , and 3 says Fix your eyes on Jesus . When you fix your eyes on Jesus . But where is this Jesus ?
Speaker 2I don't have the privilege of what the disciples had . I don't have that autonomy of Christ . I don't have that tangible presence of Jesus . I don't have that time when I can sit around the table and discuss things with this physical Christ , because after 40 days he was taken up and , as the Bible says the way he was taken up is the way he shall return . So I don't have the privilege of these disciples , of these New Testament people , that they see Jesus , that they walk with Jesus .
Speaker 2They sat around a table with Jesus . She touched the hem of the garment of Jesus . They listened to Jesus , they had a physical Christ and then all of a sudden , on Ascension Day , he was taken up and he disappeared into the heavenly realms . And then suddenly , suddenly , I've got to live by faith . But the world don't live by faith . It lives by sight and we put all our weight on by what I have in my pocket and in my house and where my house is and where my job is and where my life is . I put where my job is and where my life is . I put everything . The value that I see makes myself worth . So when I find that I don't have any of that , I think of myself , of worthless . And even when we may have all that , we see ourselves how we shouldn't see ourselves .
Speaker 2The church has done an amazing job over the years . It has helped us to lose our identity . We have lost ourselves in the vast wash of denominations of the high church , this church , that church , we have lost ourselves and we're crisscrossing now church to church , denomination , denomination , trying to to find this hope . The hope
will only be found not in the building , but in the kingdom . The hope will only be found in the word of God , because if Jesus wanted us to have all hope in the fabric and religion , he would have told us . But what he says is it's not by works , so that no one can boast . So works is irrelevant , it is by grace . You have been saved and I believe that the UK church correct me if I've got this wrong .
Speaker 2We have lost a long time ago the understanding of holiness , the true understanding of who Jesus is , the true understanding of the triune Godhead that we serve the Holy Spirit . When we think and talk about the Holy Spirit , we seem to categorize the Holy Spirit that this Holy Spirit is going to make me run around singing for joy and , in certain parts of the land , have this crazy revival where I'm going to be rolling around on the floor doing crazy things . My Bible tells me that my God is a God of order . My Bible tells me my God is a powerful God and he does things in order . My God tells me that the Holy Spirit is beyond human understanding , that the anointing of God is outside of the hands of man . The anointing comes from Christ , you know , comes from God , comes from the Holy Spirit , comes from Scripture . The Bible that I read talks about how holy this God is , how powerful he is . And then you look across the church , across the UK and scattered across the world , and we've lost the understanding of what holiness is . Holy , holy , holy is the Lord . He's so holy , he's so pure . Imagine what it would be like , imagine what it'd be like . You know , we hear so many things that if God was to show up now , I'd go and give him a hug . I wouldn't be able to get near him because of the holiness . He's so strong , he's so powerful .
Speaker 2But we've got pastors and we've got leadership teams and we've got celebrity status in church and it's all about numerics , it's all about mathematics , it's about building a business , it's about building an organization , it's about building the human's kingdom . It's about building . I've built this church , I've built this ministry , this vast ministry . I've done this . This church , all these people in here today I'm talking outside of what we got in front of us . It's me . I'm the pastor , I'm the leader , I'm the shepherd , I am the . I am . That's the trouble that we got in . You know , we got to get back . I won't say basics . We got to get back to fundamental truth , the church in the UK . I've got to get back . We've got to get back to the word , because there's hope in the word . Cancer bows to the name of Jesus .
Speaker 2Do we realize that demonic forces run ? They know Jesus when they come up out of that place and Jesus and the dark spirits will walk in towards each other . You know , when you read the text and you bring it all together , a bit of paraphrasing here . So interesting the , the demon said the dark forces says we know who he is , but we don't know you 12 . You , 12 , you , church , are irrelevant because you're not doing nothing for us to worry about . The church isn't doing anything interesting , isn't spiritual , it's mechanics , it's bells , it's whistles . It's bells , it's whistles , it's smoke , it's mirrors . But that Jesus , that Jesus , we know him . Even the dark forces know the king and the 12 and the 72 and all that that was around experiencing all this stuff that was going on .
Speaker 2The demonic forces went who are you lot ? Who's Ealing ? Who's Hillsong's ? Who's Elevation ? Who's Bill Johnson ? Who are you ? We don't really know you . You're doing what you want to do . Who's the Methodist movement ? Don't know the Anglicans , the Catholic movement . They're movements , but it's Jesus .
Speaker 2We're terrified of . It's Jesus , because he has the power and the authority to cast . He has the power just as he looks at us . Just at the sound of his name , just at the sound of his voice , stars were put into place . Just at the expression of God's voice , the sun rose on the first day . Just at the sound of the God of Israel , molecules started to come together . Just at the sound of the voice of Jesus , at the power of God , just at the sound of this triune Godhead , the stars were there , the sand was there , the waves were rolling .
Speaker 2But who are you lot ? Who are you ? We're the church , and what are you doing for Jesus ? Bingo , yoga . What are you doing for Jesus ? What are you doing for Jesus ?
Speaker 2It's almost like these dark forces are saying to the church we know Jesus more than you know Jesus . It's interesting , isn't it , when you look at the demonic forces and everything within Scripture . There is power in the name of Jesus . We do not need a building , we do not need a denomination , because we have and we are part of the kingdom that was mentioned , the kingdom of God . And the scripture says in Psalm 130 , verse 5 , I wait for the Lord , my soul waits . It doesn't talk about the flesh , it talks about the inner . It talks about the inner person , it talks about the one within . It talks about that one that sits within . My soul waits , I wait , I wait for the Lord and in his word I put my hope .
Speaker 2If God wanted us to put everything we had in the weight of the church , he would have made it clear in the text what he's referring to is . He says I want you to live by the word . I want you to live by the scripture . I want you to live by Genesis to Revelation . I want you to trust this word when you're not feeling well . I want you to trust this word when everything's going wrong . I want you to trust this word when you don't know who you are . I want you to read this word . I want you to read it outside of church , outside of religion , outside of what you've been taught by pastors , by Ben . I want you to drop all that stuff and I want you to trust me and I want you to walk by faith .
Speaker 2But , god , I can't see you . Yes , ben , that's what we call faith God . Sometimes I can't hear you . Yes , ben , that's what we call faith God . Sometimes I can't hear you . Yes , ben , that's what we call faith God . But everyone in every other church down the road , father , they're actually having a cup of tea with you . Everyone else is seeing you . Everyone else , dear God , they're having visions and dreams .
Speaker 2Lord , I'm having nightmares and I'm waking up in terrors and sweats . I'm scared and I'm worried about fear and life itself . Help me , lord . And when I put the cry out , lord , it goes quiet . That's faith-based
. But where are you ? I'm carrying you , where are you , god ?
I'm inside of you . Where are you , god ? I'm in the air that you breathe . Where are you , god ? I'm in your life . But God and God is saying I want you to trust me . I want you to trust me . I want you to trust me even though you go through the valley of the shadow of death . I want you to trust me even though it looks bleak and it's tiring and exhausting . I want you to trust me even you're not quite sure
who you are , because religion and church and denominations are teaching us and showing us so many different things .
Speaker 2I want to know the real Jesus . I want to know the real Holy Spirit . I want to know the real Jesus . I want to know the real Holy Spirit . I want to know the real God of Israel . I want a relationship with the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords .
Speaker 2I'm not interested in church . Church will burn us out . Church is like a circus . Religion is like a circus . We got clowns at the front . My nose ain't red today . We got clowns at the front . We got missions swinging in and out on trapeze artists . We've got things happening . We've got showmanship in church and religion like we've never seen before . We've got the TikTok church . We've got the social media church . We've got TikTok pastors . We've got social media pastors . We've got this , we've got that .
Speaker 2But I want to be in the kingdom . I want to be found under the hand and the voice of God . I want to be found in the biblical truth . I don't want to be found in the plastic world that is around me . I don't want to be found by this fake name it and claim it . I want to be found in the truth , because Jesus tells me you will know the truth and the truth will set you free . Palestine is looking for freedom in political areas . The world is looking for freedom in political areas . The world is looking for freedom by . If I can get this job , get this money , get this house , my life will be better . My life will only be better when my soul realizes I've got to wait on God .
Speaker 2I do uncountable funerals , burials , unbelievable . I spend most of my day hanging around graveyards and crematoriums , and that's fact . I bury people day after day , crematorium after crematorium . I read eulogy after eulogy , I listen to this and I listen to that , but something brings everything to the same thing when that casket is on the catafell or when the casket is being lowered down . There's no car keys in that coffin , there's no money in that coffin , there's nothing but a shell .
Speaker 2The earth suit in which we come in with the house has been sold off by the kids . It's gone to the cat's home . The kids are fighting over your Mercedes . They're putting your clothes down . The charity shop that you slugged yourself out for Everything you kept , everything that you put together , has just gone down the road .
Speaker 2The house is being carved up , the money is being carved up , the money is being divided up and suddenly , who was Ben ? Who was . Who was . Who was as we lay in that casket . That's , whatever colour , whatever tribe , whatever tongue , how poor we are , how rich we are , how healthy we are , how unhealthy we are , there is something that is certain in this world Each and every one of us will lay in a casket , and when we lay in that casket , by that time we would have met , because the Bible says within a twinkling of an eye you'll be with me in paradise .
Speaker 2But then comes after that . It's something that we don't want to cheer ourselves up with at this moment in time . Is he going to say well done , good and faithful servant , or is he going to say away from me , I didn't know you . When the lid is screwed down and we're slid into the back of the hearse and the mourners are out , suddenly , life , we sold ourselves to number 10 . We worked seven days a week . We had two jobs , three jobs . We had the finer things of the world , but then my last breath has been taken . The Mercedes doesn't matter anymore , the house doesn't matter anymore , the clothing doesn't matter , the jewelry is worthless . The estate that I've aspired to build in my life has been sold off . Life is so thin and precarious . It is for living for Jesus . Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness . But if I get that house in a TM postcode , I've made it , jesus . If I get that new car down there , lord , if I get that , lord , I've got to get electric because the government told me to go electric . Don't get spun the lie of save the planet . The planet is going to burn up , the planet is going to disappear . The planet is going to change when the king comes . Yes , I'm all for looking after and understanding , because you know what I'm going to say .
Speaker 2Go to Genesis , chapter 1 , and you'll read about the greatest green energy deal the world has ever heard of , but it doesn't follow what Jesus said . If the world will follow , the greatest green energy document that we'd ever have is in Genesis , chapter 1 , 2 and 3 . He tells us how to look after , to move , to live , to war . If I do that , and let me tell you this don't get caught by the net zero . Don't get caught by the dirty diesel line . Don't get caught by the petrol . Don't get caught by the dirty diesel line . Don't get caught by the petrol . Don't get caught by . You've got to be electric , you've got to be this , you've got to be that .
Speaker 2If we all had electric cars at this moment in time , let me tell you , the roads out there , the tarmac would melt , the cables would explode . We can't even turn the kettles on at the same time in a halftime of football and the grid goes crazy . Imagine what it would be like if we all chucked our cars on at night . The tarmac would melt , the electric explode . Don't get sucked in to what the world is saying . Stand strong . Stand on the word yes . Look after the environment as according to the scripture . Understand what God says about nature . Understand what God says about society and the world . Understand the power of the word of God . Realize who you are in God . Realize who you are . There is power .
Speaker 2In the name of Jesus , I wait for the Lord . My soul waits . My soul waits for him . The enemy that no one sees . The enemy my soul waits . My soul waits for him . The enemy that no one sees . The enemy , my soul waits . And his word I put my hope on . I put my hope in his word . I put my hope in the King . I put my hope in the scripture . I put my hope in the love of God . I put my hope in the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords . He is the great I am . He is worthy of all praise . He is Jesus Christ . He is the redeeming King . He is the coming King . Oh my God , whoever you are this morning , wherever you are scattered across the world , know who you are in Christ .
Speaker 2Let's quickly turn to 2 Thessalonians , chapter 3 . Let me see if I've got it . 2 Thessalonians , chapter 3 , verse 3 , and it says but the Lord is faithful and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one . The king will protect you . He is faithful , he is steadfast . His word is true . 2 Thessalonians , chapter 3 , verse 3 . The Lord is faithful and will strengthen and protect you .
Speaker 2Do you feel weak today ? Are your bones aching ? Is your back aching ? Is your mind just absolutely worn out ? Do you feel like there's no oil in the cogs anymore , in your head , that all you can hear is the cogs of life just grinding ? Do you feel like you're just doing the same monotonous thing day in , day out ? And suddenly we find why am I not happy ? Why haven't I got this sense of peace in my spirit that the Scripture speaks about ? Why haven't I got this sense of fulfillment ? Why am I lacking what is missing in my life . It is the power of the Word of God , it is the power of Scripture , it is the power of hope . I need more Word , I need more Scripture . I need more of Jesus . I need the Word .
Speaker 2The Bible says , ben , you're going to live by faith . You've got to live by faith . Son , you've got to trust me in every area of your life . You got to trust me for your health . You got to trust me in every area and every section and every wave . You
got to trust me in the storms . Trust me when the waves seem too big . Trust me when the ocean seems too wide to cross . Trust me when you're standing at the brink of the Jordan River . Trust me that I'm going to part that , but , god , I can't swim . I'm carrying so much on my shoulders , lord , how am I going to get across the other side of the Jordan ?
Speaker 2Ben , what I want you to do is to go up to the River Jordan edge and I want you to stand in the River Jordan . But , god , do you know it's at full flood stage ? Yes , I know it's at full flood stage . I stage , yes , I know it's at full flood stage . I've commanded you to stand here at this season , and I want you to see the strength of the river before you . I want you to watch the debris that's coming down . I want you to understand that you can't do nothing without me , ben . I want you to understand that with me , I can do anything for you . But , lord , I'm looking at the physical river . Anything for you , but , lord , I'm looking at the physical river , lord , I'm looking at this river before me . I'm standing , lord . I'm ankle deep , lord , I'm shin deep . Now , I'm knee deep . I'm standing in the river Jordan and everything is breaking out against me . Lord , I can feel the weight . Can you feel the weight of life against your legs ? Can you feel that if any wave comes one more time , it's going to wipe your legs out and suddenly I'm going to be carried down the river Jordan of life ? Do you feel that you can't cross this river ? God , I can't go any further without you . Okay , ben , I want you to stand . Shall , I stand six feet back because I don't want to get wet . No , I want you to go right in to the trial . I want you to go right in to the muck . I want you to go right into the mud . I want you to go right into the mire . But , god , you want me to stand in the trouble , in the face of adversity ? Yes , I do .
Speaker 2When God commanded the Levitical priesthood , they was carrying the Ark of the Covenant . And then suddenly we understand through Scripture that the Levitical priesthood were carrying the Ark externally . It was carried externally , but then all of a sudden , when Calvary comes into the arena , suddenly we find this God , this King , this Christ , and the Bible says in John 1 , verse 14 , and the Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us . Suddenly we find that the Levitical priesthood are not carrying the Ark of the Covenant , because what was in the Ark , what it represented , is suddenly here in front of our eyes . And then suddenly the cross happens , ascension Day , and everything goes on . Suddenly there's this transfer of God's power from the Levitical priesthood , and this transfer in his power is not external anymore , but it's internal . And God is saying right now from the Old Testament to the New Testament Ben , you're carrying words , you're carrying Genesis to Revelation .
Speaker 2Sister , brother , I am living in your life , I am in your heart , your mind , your body , your soul . But , god , do you see the size of the river ? I want you to be strong and courageous Joshua . Do not let this book of the Lord depart from your mouth , but meditate on it day and night . But , lord , I've got Netflix to watch . Emmerdale's coming on . Lord , I've got to catch up on Corrie tonight . Lord , I'll just put you on the back burner . Lord . Football's on , lord , sorry , charlton Millwall , arsenal , whatever it may be . Lord , I've got to get to the game . Jesus , lord , I've got to get to the gym . I'll catch you up later .
Speaker 2Lord , it's not about getting to church . I'll get to church tomorrow . Lord , it's not about getting to church , it's about getting in the word . It's not about putting him off , it's about putting him first .
Speaker 2Lord , I'm going to sit in the stillness . I'm going to sit in my car , I'm going to sit in the van , I'm going to sit on the edge of the bed . I'm just going to sit in my car . I'm going to sit in the van , I'm going to sit on the edge of the bed , I'm just going to walk and I'm going to listen to the Bible app on my ears and I'm going to listen to your word , lord and Lord . I'm going to believe , lord , that I'm going to find this hope that I'm looking for in the world . And I didn't mean to , lord , but I was just following the crowd . I was following the football crowd , I was following the music crowd . I was following the celebrity crowd , I was following the TV crowd , I was following the social crowd , the network crowd , I was following the crowd of life and I didn't realize , lord , that that crowd was taking me to a wrong destination .
Speaker 2And where I've got to be is I've got to be in the garden of Gethsemane , just me and God , and saying God , what is the plan that you have for me ? What is it over my life , lord , that you have for me , sisters , over my life , lord , that you have for me Sisters and brothers ? We're coming to the table and we've been in that simple scripture , and now we just flicked over to 2 Thessalonians , chapter 3 . And it says in verse 3 , but the Lord is faithful and he will strengthen and protect you . The Lord is faithful . The Lord is faithful , he will protect you and strengthen you and lead you and guide you .
Speaker 2And as we come to the breaking of bread and as we come to the taking of the cup , we are not doing it because it's a religious activity , we're not doing it because the order has put it in place . We're doing it because my king , your king , told us . We're doing it because of very clearly of your king told us . We're doing it because of very clearly of Exodus , chapter 12 , chapter 13 . We're doing it because this is about the Passover . We're doing it because this is about what the Bible tells us .
Speaker 2He says go and get a lamb , sacrifice a lamb , you know . Get the blood of the lamb , put it in the basin at the base of your door , put it over the lintel , over your doorway , put it over your house , because when I fly over , the blood will be a sign , not religion , not church , nothing to do with religion , but the blood will be a sign and we see the fulfillment of that scripture . When Jesus said it is finished , and he bowed his head and he gave up his breath , the Passover lamb , the lamb that was sacrificed , and God said to the Egyptians , he said to Israel , he said to the surrounding area at that time , the blood will be a sign . He says also I am the same yesterday , today and forevermore . If he said the blood will be a sign back , then the blood will be a sign now , until his return .
Speaker 2So the blood is critical , but we don't want to talk about the blood in the English church . It's too much . There's children and don't talk about blood . We can't talk about Jesus on the cross , it's too much . But we'll let the children play the most horrific games on TV , watch the most horrific films , engage in the most horrific things , but we can't talk about a crucifixion . We can't talk about the blood of Jesus . It's too much . There is power in the blood .
Speaker 2The scripture says there is life in the blood and I've got to understand . There had to be blood shed , there had to be blood shed , blood had to be shed . Nothing about church , nothing about religion , nothing about a denomination , nothing . But God said the blood will be a sign and I will pass over . That's why we got the Passover , not because a denomination has decided to call it the Passover , because God said loud and clear in the book of Exodus , chapter 12 , I will pass over and the blood will be a sign over your house . I'll save you because you're under the blood . Thank you for the cross In the name of Jesus . In the name of Jesus , as we come before you right now , lord , we pray just for ourselves at this moment and , lord , we ask you , father , as we break bread together now , in the mighty name , the greatest name in heaven and earth , in the name of Jesus , lord .
Speaker 2I understand now that this is not churchy . This is nothing to do with religion . Religion but this is to do with scripture , and the scriptures were fulfilled when Jesus went to the cross . You know the Passover , that teaching of the Passover started in the book of Exodus , 12 , 13 , 14 , 15 coming through . It has nothing to do with religion . Religion has taken this and done what it wants to do with it . So we need to take it in accordance with the word . And Christ says as often as you gather together , do this in remembrance of me , not in remembrance of religion and church and everything that goes along with that . But I'm doing it because Jesus said remember me Ben . Remember me Ben when you take bread in your hand , when you break bread , remember that that is a representation of my body . You haven't got to jump through hoops . You haven't got to do this . You ain't got to go this , you ain't got to go there . This is an emblem , this is a representation , this is a type of it's reminding me that this is the body of Christ that was broken from the garden to the cross . So , father , bless this bread as I take this right now In the name of Jesus . Amen , I thank you for the body of Christ that was broken for me .
Speaker 2The Bible says he took the bread and the cup and we always say there's a redemption cup , the third cup . He took the cup , the cup that he's talking about and praying about , the cup that he's in anguish in the Garden of Gethsemane . Take this cup , not any of the three others , but he's talking about the cup of redemption because we are redeemed and we've got everything to live for . We've got everything to live for . We've got everything to live for Everything . So , lord , will you cover me from the crown of my head to the sole of my feet . As I recognize , lord , this is grape juice , whatever it is today , lord , but what it symbolizes is the blood of Jesus . So , lord , cleanse me from the crown of my head to the sole of my feet , amen .
Speaker 2You know , religion has taken this and turned it into what it's turned it into . It's a good idea to study the Passover , because suddenly we understand what the bread and what this cup means . It's not about religious activity . The church did not make this up . The church has taken it and stretched it and done what it's done with it in all denominations . I've got to come back to the biblical interpretation of what it is . It comes from Exodus

Speaker 2God gives a clear word out to everyone in that audience around when you do the sacrifice , the lamb , the lamb without blemish . We're out of here . We're over time . We've got to get out . You know the cameras are going to click off . God bless you , wherever you are .
Speaker 2If you're still with us at this moment in time , you know , may the hand of God be with you and strengthen you . In the mighty name of Jesus Christ . We're out of here , come on . Thank you , jesus . Let's just pray . Father , in the name of Jesus , we're blessed and highly favoured , wonderfully and fearfully made . Will you lead us and guide us , lord ? Will you strengthen us , lord , and carry us in the arms of Jesus ? Move over us . We pray , lord .
Speaker 2Thank you for everybody online , thank you for everybody in the house today . But , lord , as we click out , lord , lord , we just pray that we will understand who we are in Christ , that there is power in Jesus . Father , thank you for this morning . All those that are not with us bless them . All those that are with us , bless them , all those that are on the other side of the world . Bless them , lord . But right now , lord , we just want to say thank you , jesus . Thank you , lord , spirit of the living God , cover us in the blood , wash us from the crown of our head to the sole of our feet . Lord , let your love , let your mercy , let your unfailing presence carry us .
Speaker 2Today , lord , I pray for everybody online . I ask you , jesus , that you will strengthen them and you will just refresh them . All those in the house . The same prayer , lord in the house , lord , the brothers , the sisters , the children before me this morning , lord , I pray , lord , that you'll strengthen them online in the house , and lord that we will be found as jesus followers , that we will be found as jesus followers , that we will follow jesus christ as our lord and savior , that we will , dear god , walk in the word and we will not live by sight , but we will live by faith and we will trust you and stand on the holy word of God , spirit of the living God .
Speaker 2I come to the close of this service right now and I ask you , father , I ask you , lord , that you'll sweep for Israel today , lord , that Israel , lord , will see the joy of the Lord , that Palestine , the Middle East , will see the joy of the Lord , that Palestine , the Middle East will see the power and the joy of the Lord and they will receive salvation .
Speaker 2And salvation will go from the Jews to the Gentiles , right the way out , right the way through , as the Scripture tells us that many will be saved today in the name of Jesus , not because of church , not because of the noise of church , but because of the power of the blood of Jesus Christ . So , lord , we thank you that salvation sits in the hand of the triune Godhead . So , lord , I ask you that you will help us to understand what it means to be born again , to be born from above , that it's impossible , impossible by man . And right now , lord , holy Spirit , as we just come to a close and as we come to the rest , father , I just ask that the glory of God and the anointing will descend over everybody today . Your love will descend over everybody today , your presence will descend . So , father , thank you for time .
Speaker 2And Lord , as we leave the house , as we leave online church today , across the world , may your glory bless them pressed down , running over , shaken together in the wonderful name of Jesus .
