with you . Let's pray . Today's prayer is coming out of the book of two thessalonians , chapter 3 , verse 16 . Now , may the lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way . The lord be with you , father . Today we pray for peace . We pray , lord , that peace will abound in our heart , our mind and our body and our soul . Lord , according to your word , in 2 Thessalonians , chapter 3 , verse 16 , you tell us that you are the Lord of peace and the Lord of peace himself will give us peace at all
times . Lord , I need peace today because I feel quite troubled . Lord , I feel like I'm in troubled waters . I feel like I'm in dangerous territory . I feel like Lord , the enemy is trying to rob me of my peace and , lord , I think I've got caught and tangled in social media and social media . Lord is robbing my peace and social media Lord is leading me astray from the gospel of hope . So , lord , I pray that we won't get entangled in the devil's playground in social media , but we will come to the Father , the Son , the Holy Spirit , and get peace from the Lord himself . Brother and sister , I pray for you today , wherever you are . We are , if you are , if we are struggling with social media and you are finding that we have a bit of an addiction going on and we can't leave the gadget alone . Spirit of the living . God , I don't want to keep scrolling on social media looking for that place . I don't want to keep aimlessly looking hour after hour at someone else's posts . Lord , help me to remove myself from social media and put my eyes on Jesus Because , lord , social media and the media and the world is robbing me of my peace . So today , lord , I bring myself to the cross and I say , lord , I need more peace . And , lord , help me to lay the phone down , help me to lay materialism down . Help me , not to look into the world for peace , but to look at Jesus , because you are the Lord of all peace and you tell us you will give us
peace . So today , lord , I need peace . My brothers and sisters , we need peace , we need rest because our minds , lord , are ticking so fast . Lord , sometimes my mind , lord , ticks so fast . It gets out of control , lord . Then I get fearful , then I get doubtful , then , lord , I lose all understanding . So , father , please help my mind to calm . Lord , give me peace in my thinking , peace in my understanding . Lord , I'm not sleeping very well . Will you help me to sleep well because , lord , I'm agitated at night ? So , father , in every area of our lives , help us , us to sleep , help us to leave certain things of the world alone and , lord , help us to put our eyes on Jesus , the author and the perfecter of our faith . He is the Prince of Peace and God is calling you today to his word . God is calling you to scripture , god is calling you for peace and he wants you to have rest . He wants you to find that place of satisfaction in your life . We won't find rest and peace in materialism , but we will find it in Jesus Christ . So , wherever you are across this world , let's get ourselves to the word of God . Let's get ourselves in the scripture .
