I don't know why , but it seems to be that the church seems to shut down in August . All the leaders disappear . Everyone goes on holiday . I suppose they've packed suitcases with the devil and they've all gone together . I suppose that's what they've packed suitcases with the devil and they've all gone together . I suppose that's what they've really done . See , jesus , don't go on holiday . It never ceases . You know , wherever you are across the world .
Speaker 2I just want to bring some facts to us today and to the enormous amount of people that are online and across the world and everybody in the house . This is we are living , as I always say , we're living in critical days and I need you to remember me for this one thing that he told you to follow Jesus . Follow Jesus . And we hear people saying well , what Jesus ? The Jesus of the gospel ? The Bible says that Jesus says watch out for those that come in my name , watch out for those , watch out . So what Jesus are you talking about , ben ? I'm talking about the Jesus who was at the very beginning of time . I'm talking about the Jesus that healed the sick . I'm talking about the Jesus , the Jesus of Nazareth . I'm talking about the Jesus in John , chapter one . I'm talking about that Jesus , the King of the Jews , not the King of the Palestinians , not the King . He's the King of the Jews , he's the savior of the Jews , not the King of the Palestinians , not the King . He's the King of the Jews , he's the Savior of the world . And that Jesus is woven together to the God of Israel . That Jesus is the light of the world , that Jesus is the Holy Spirit , that Jesus the deity , mixed and woven together as one , but three
as in one . We're going to open up the word of god this morning and we're going to go to psalm 119 , 105 . I'll read this before we go any further and it says your word is a lamp unto my feet , a light for my path . Bang , that's it game over . If jesus wanted us to put church first , he would have said this your church is a lamp unto my feet . Your elim is a lamp unto my feet . Your denomination is a lamp unto my , your culture , your life .
Speaker 2Let me bring another book into the equation . I've got another book on the pulpit and many people will probably listen . Across the world will probably have an heart attack when they realize what book I've got . I've got Harry Potter . I've got Harry Potter here , and let me just bring you some facts about these books a moment . You know this book . What's it about ? Let's sum this up it's about magic and witchcraft . But children love it and parents buy it . Let me tell you some facts , facts that are across the
airways . Open your ears and listen .
Speaker 2600 million books have been sold of Harry Potter series . 600 million , wow . That's a lot of books . But let me tell you about another book , and I'll tell you about another book , and I'll tell you about another book in a moment . So Harry Potter , through the whole series , has sold 600 million books across the globe . Let me tell you about the book . It has sold 8 billion books . It has given away over 3 billion books . What is that book ? It's the greatest book . What's he talking about Harry Potter for ? I'm talking about Harry Potter for because it's about magic and witchcraft . Oh , pastor Ben , it's about good and light . Don't bring that trash to my door . It's darkness . The first page that I flick open to says the dark Lord ascended . Everything in the series is against Christ , but it sold 600 million . Put that in your noggin for a moment , put that in your brain , put that in your box for a moment . 600 million books have been sold .
Speaker 2Now we go to social media , and social media is pushing it around the world , that Islam is so powerful , it's taking over the world . Well , do you know how many books it sold ? 800 million , just 200 million more than Harry Potter . So let me tell the Muslims , let me tell the rest of the world , let me tell those that serve the devil , let me tell everybody this morning there is no greater book than the word . So why isn't the church telling the world about the greatest book ? Why isn't the church preaching the gospel ? You know , I'd rather read Harry Potter than listen to 90% of preaching . Fact , because there are many preachers taking us to the devil , many preachers taking us to the gates of hell .
Speaker 2600 million copies . It sold the Quran . 800 million copies sold Just 200 different . Not much . That's not a lot . I believe Harry Potter will accelerate the Quran . It's growing at such a rate .
Speaker 2But then you got the Bible , the word of God , the book that is smuggled the most . You know , it's not drugs that are smuggled the most , it's not the cocaine racket , it's not that . Do you know what the greatest commodity is ? It is the Bible . The Bible is the greatest book that has ever been . It's overdrunk , it's smuggled everywhere . People are running for this , this book 800 , sorry , 8 billion 8 billion books have been sold .
3 billion have been given away . That is without the literature that comes out of that . It is the greatest book . The whole world is talking about Jesus . The whole world is writing against Jesus . The whole world is trying to disprove that Jesus , jesus . The whole world is trying to disprove that Jesus . But if this Jesus wasn't real , why are you still talking about him ?
Speaker 2When you look at Harry Potter , when you look at the text , when you read it and you look at all what's going on , how many authors One author . How many authors to the Quran One author . How long did it take to write Harry Potter over a series ? Do you know what ? Harry Potter has almost taken as long to write as the Quran has . But do you know how long it took to write Genesis to Revelation ? 1,496 years . Do you realise there's 66 books ? Do you realise there's 40 different authors ? Do you realise that this book is holy dynamite ? So why , in the name of Jesus , is the church so quiet , so quiet on the gospel , because social media is telling us that world religions are accelerating . But it's not . They're under the kingdom .
Speaker 2The first part of that text I'll call it the chapter in the harry potter series that I have in front of me is the dark Lord ascending . Demonic all the way through , demonic right the way through , all the way through it . I'll probably get in a bit of trouble , but never mind , doesn't matter , does it ? What does it matter ? We got to tell the world Don't read Harry Potter , don't read the rest of the world , religious books , get the greatest book , the book that they can't print enough . Get the book where there ain't enough trees to get it printed . You know the Bible is the greatest book in all the world . So when you look at Psalms , when you read Psalms 119 , verse 105 , your word is a lamp unto my feet , a light for my path .
Speaker 2Think about this book . This book , the Bible , the holy word of God . Nothing can get near it . The persecuted church are running , risking their lives to get the word of God . But the UK church is pink and woke .
There's more satanic activity yes , he said it in what we call church
. There's more divination , magic . There's more witchcraft , yes , especially in certain cultural churches , tribal custom churches , areas of church .
Speaker 2We know what I'm getting at , but there is nothing more powerful than the Holy Spirit when you think about those stats that I just bought 8 billion Bibles have been sold , 3 billion have been given away . The Quran is hanging around the 800 million . Harry Potter is accelerating 600 . It's only 200 million behind what they profess across the social networks , that this religion is taking over the world . It can't take over the world . It's impossible to take over the world . Nothing can take over being born again , spirit filled . So the church needs to shout the name of Jesus . But the UK church has got a stamp on its back . It's been branded with what A charity number . We're controlled by government . We've got policies that we can't move in .
Speaker 2You can't talk about jesus like you talk about jesus . Go and stand on the street corner , get a milk crate , you know . Stand on that and start talking about the gospel . Before you know it , you got yourself locked up and put away because you're a hate preacher . Look what they've done to us here on YouTube . They stopped it , they shut all the channels down . They because we was preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ . There is nothing more powerful than the word of God . Do you want to be healed today ? Do you want to be free today ? You'll never get free in that . You'll never get free in any other book . You'll get freedom because the Bible says you will know the truth and the truth will set you free .
Speaker 2Churches together , in many areas , have mimicked and copied this . What do you mean when you've got things like Lark in the Park and all that old crazy stuff ? The church has adopted card systems , tarot card systems . You're trying to attract the world by using the magnet of the world . It's so critical . You've got to be different . You don't need cards to get kids in the church . You don't need bingo . You don't need yoga , you don't need to do anything . What the church has got to do is preach the gospel of truth , because there is power in the greatest name in heaven and earth .
Speaker 2Your word is a lamp . If Jesus wanted us to have the church at the first and foremost , even worship . When you look at worship , we've got to be careful of worship . You've got to be careful of worship . You've got to be careful of church . You've got to be careful of ministry .
Speaker 2God said this the word is the word , is your word , is a lamp unto my feet , a light for my path . It can only be the word . Why can it only be the word ? Jesus says I am the way , the truth , the life . No one comes to the Father except through me .
Speaker 2There is no book like it . There's no book like it . And how many we got in our houses , how many books we got sitting on the shelf ? How many of these Bibles do we have around ? You know , it's the greatest book in the world . It's the book where you find healing . It's the book where you find power . It's the book where you find life . It's the book where you find salvation and redemption . It is the greatest book in the world . And he is your God and he is your king . The world is searching , the world is seeking , the world is looking . The world is looking for a place to find , a place to rest . But there's no other book .
Speaker 2Turn to the gospel of John . The gospel of John . You know where I'm going . The gospel of John , chapter one , verse one . In the beginning was the Word Turn to Genesis , and it tells you that as well . There is such a correlation of the Scripture , of the power of the Word of God . Jesus Christ loves you .
Speaker 2No matter how we feel about ourselves , no matter how we look at ourselves , no matter what has gone on in our lives , no matter what is going on in our lives , there is something God has to do . There's something that God you know . God forgets something and you know what God forgets . He forgets what was nailed at the cross . He can't bring it up . God forgets . God can't bring it back . He can't bring it back because that would reverse the blood of Jesus .
Speaker 2So it's now to the cross of Calvary . It's now that the cross . What was and what has been repented over , is now that the cross . Even before the action was executed , it was now that the cross . You are free . Do you realize how free you are this morning ? Do you realize that the spirit of the Lord is on you ? As our brother read out , the spirit of the Lord is on me . He has anointed and appointed . God has anointed and appointed you . For such a time as this . We've got to forget church . Church is irrelevant . Church is over . It's just four walls , it's just bells and whistles , it's smoke , it's showmanship , it's all that .
Speaker 2We are living in such challenging times when you look at social media , scrolling through , trying to find a button to find what Peace Gathering things from the world , trying to find peace , trying to bring things into my life , trying to bring peace . This will bring you peace . It is the greatest book the world has ever seen 365 million displaced Christians around the world are running and trying to get their hands on Bibles . It isn't drugs that is the greatest thing that is smuggled . It is the word of God . People are more hungry for the word than ever before . Why ? Because we are living at end days . Tell yourself , this book has sold 8 billion , given away 3 billion . Harry Potter , as we just read out there , 600 million . The Quran , 800 million .
Speaker 2It puts things in perspective to understand . Because people like stats , because , for some unknown reason , we prefer stats and measures and pie charts and flow charts over faith . But the Bible says the just shall live by a pie chart . No , it doesn't . The just shall live by a measure , by a metric , by a matrix . No , it doesn't . It just shall live by a measure , by a metric , by a matrix . No , it doesn't . It says the just shall live by faith .
Speaker 2See , when I live by faith , the walls of the church bust out . When I live by faith , everything disappears . When I live by faith . There's nothing more powerful than living by faith . When I stand on the word of God , there's nothing more powerful than someone believing in the holy word of God .
Speaker 2When you get that word in your spirit and remind yourself , the word is already in your spirit , we see the transfer from the external . Where do we see it ? We see it at the cross of Calvary . So at the cross of the Calvary , when Christ said it is finished , at that point we see salvation coming completely into existence . And we have to measure and we look and we analyze the cross of Calvary . And when you look at the cross , the three crosses , and you look at the two thieves that are next to Christ , I actually believe through scripture that when that thief was on the cross next to Jesus and he said Father Christ , will you remember me when you come into your kingdom ? And he says , yeah , within a twinkling of an eye . I believe that is the first person you know . I believe that's the first person to receive salvation as we understand it today . When you look at that straight away , he said within a twinkling of an eye , you'll be with me in paradise , because Christ had to go first . Christ had to go first .
Speaker 2When you look at the scriptures , so when you look at the Old Testament , the Old Testament was always external . It was carried outside in the Ark of the Covenant . It was always external . But when the cross came , when Christ said it is finished , suddenly there was a transfer from external to internal . So we don't carry the word externally , we carry the word internally and that's why the Bible says greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world .
Speaker 2But let's just remind ourselves of the stats again . You know , I've got . You know , for those who are online , I've got Harry Potter right in front of me . You know , it's a book of magic and sorcery . Kids are reading it , kids have got the cards , kids are watching the films and all that . So let's just remind ourselves , as I gently turn over in the first page , that I start to read and it says the dark lord ascended . Because it's the opposite . It's the opposite to the living word . Because that's what Lucifer does , he , he . He disguises himself as an angel of light and he makes it sound good and he dresses himself up in magic , witchcraft , divination and everything that the old testament says and God said to the Israelites when you go into the land of Canaan , do not copy what they are doing . No , god course we won't . We won't do a thing what they're doing . As soon as they got their passport and they got over the line , bang . They was doing everything they were told not to do . Let's just remind ourselves of the stats 600 million sold of Harry Potter across the globe . 800 million Korans sold . 8 billion Bibles . 8 billion Bibles 3 billion have been given away . When you put those stats together and again I've got to remind myself being very respectful for everything that is going on Harry Potter is only 200 million behind the salves of the Quran . It tells you a lot .
Speaker 2So , wherever you are , I want you to turn right now to Genesis , chapter 1
. Genesis , chapter 1 , and as you look at Genesis , chapter 1 , and we've been hanging around this , the Spirit of the Lord has been keeping us in this for quite a while when you look in the book of genesis , what does it say ? Let there be light . What did I just read out from harry potter ? Let's just remind us what I just read out the dark lord ascended .
Speaker 2When you look at what is going on in literature , literature is powerful , but in Genesis , chapter 1 , verse 1 , it says In the beginning , god created the heavens and the earth . Now the earth was formless and empty . Darkness was hovering over the surface of the deep , but the Spirit of the Lord was hovering over the waters and God said Let there be light . And there was light . And God saw that that light was good and he separated what Light from darkness ? Yes , but we may say , yes , well , we understand what he was doing there . What was it ? What was he doing ? You're talking about nature , you're talking about the pathway of how God created . He separated light from dark . Yes , we understand . He made daytime , he made nighttime . But also , as you go further in the scripture , he also talks about another light and another dark . He separated so at the very beginning of time .
Speaker 2However you look at that , if we look at that through eyes of creation , we look at that with eyes of creation , and God separated light from darkness , good and evil . But you will find that the evil side is trying to bring it up and bring it into the , the good light . When it's a bad light , it's a dark light , it's . It's darkness because it has no light . And and we understand science , as we've said this before . Science clearly says yes , darkness exists . Darkness is real only because of the absence of one element , and and you know the element I'm talking about Darkness is only present because light hasn't stepped into its space . Darkness cannot step into light because darkness has no power over light . So if you was to walk in a house that was completely , or a room that was completely locked down , with no windows , nothing , if you was to walk in there and you was to touch that switch , what would happen ? The darkness would disappear right away through the room .
Speaker 2What does Jesus say ? I am the light of the world . What does the Bible say about you and me ? He says greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world . So what are you carrying ? You're carrying word . What are you carrying ? You're carrying 66 books . What are you carrying ? You're carrying father , son , holy Spirit . So why isn't the church preaching the gospel of fire and power and anointing ? Because it's scared . Preachers are scared to tell the truth . Preachers are scared because if I talk about the blood of Jesus and hell , the church will empty and suddenly I won't get me wages and we can't grow a church like that . God grows the church . It's not about numerics , it's about the kingdom . And when you understand that we're in the kingdom and we're not in the building , that we are in the power of the Holy Spirit , you know , when you look at this book that I mentioned Harry Potter people have a good few things to say about it . Well , I'll send you one if you want one .
Speaker 2There is power in the word of God . So , witches and witchcraft , there is power in satanic worship , that's clear . There's power in witchcraft . There's power in divination . There's power in witchcraft . There's power in divination . There's power in chanting . There's power in in devil's music . There's power , there's power there , but it is such a lesser power . So why do I allow that to infiltrate what I believe ? Because I am spun a line , a yarn , a lie from the pulpits . See , what we've got to understand is that power lives within .
Speaker 2And what does the Bible say ? It says the devil is where , walking next to you . Where does the Bible say the devil is ? Where does the Bible say ? He says he's under your feet . He's under your feet . You've crushed the lion , the great serpent . Jesus christ done something at the cross before he gave up his spirit , and this is what happened . The bible says says that Jesus disarmed the darkness and the principalities . So it has no power because of the cross . It has no power . Well , you just said it has . It has power to those that are not born again . It has power to them . But if you are a true Bible-believing , spirit-filled , and the Word of God is sitting in your spirit , you know the devil is nothing , witchcraft is nothing , divination is nothing . It is finished , it is gone , it is over .
Speaker 2So why am I being quiet on my social network about Jesus ? Why am I being quiet in my life about Jesus ? Why am I being quiet ? Because the government tell us we can't tell you . You can't tell us about Jesus . You can't preach about Jesus on Speaker's Corner in London . You can't talk about Jesus because we'll have you locked up . You can't talk about Jesus .
Speaker 2But pick up your mat . Oh no , I'm not talking about that mat . I'm talking about the mat that they pray on . Pick up your mat . Oh no , I'm not talking about that mat . I'm talking about the mat that they pray on . Pick up your mat , lay it in the middle of the street and you can pray all day long and you'll get the police protecting you all the way around . Pick up your mat , and I'm not talking about the scripture mat . Pick up your mat and go onto the Tower Bridge and you can pray all day long . Pick up your mat and go on down in street and they'll bring you a cup of tea and help you pray all day long .
Speaker 2But if you pick up your cross , you're in trouble . If you pick up your cross and you pick up the word and you tell your children when you go to school , tell your teacher that this gift is for you . Oh , you're in trouble . If you go into work in a tower of babel and there are . When you look at the towers , look at the way the towers are being created at this moment it's just like the old testament . We want to reach to the heavens , the highest tower we got to get . We got to get up to the gods . We got to get up . But take this word to school . You're in trouble . Take this word into the towers of of london , of places , but take this word to school . You're in trouble . Take this word into the towers of London of places of work . Take this into your workspace . It'll get a conversation starting . Take this in to your life and tell the world that you are a Jesus follower , you'll have trouble .
Speaker 2But the Bible says the battle belongs to the Lord . So in the scripture that we've been , in the scripture that we've been looking at , your word is a lamp unto my feet , a light for my path . Your word is Worship , isn't Church , isn't . I'm not , pastors are not , denominations are not . No one is . Your word is a lamp . No wonder there's so much darkness in the UK coming out and through the churches and through religion , because the word isn't , the word isn't anymore , not because the word has no power , but the preachers and the teachers I'll call them that for what we understand those devil lifters are are not giving the gospel of Jesus Christ . It is about self-worth . It is about about me , me myself , and I . I am the I am , this is mine , I created , I am who I am . Isn't that interesting ? That's the lines that God used and Christ strengthened through the Word of God .
Speaker 2You've got to get yourself a Bible . You ain't got to get yourself a denomination , you've got to get yourself a Bible . You can be in your bedroom , you can be sitting on the edge of your bed . You can be at your home , in your garden , you can be out walking . You can be listening it through your ears . You can be watching it through YouTube and listening to the scripture . There is power in the word of God .
Speaker 2So why is the church zipped its lips ? Because it's lost the understanding of doctrine . See , doctrine has been stripped out . Doctrine has been stripped out and we have no clear doctrine anymore . The only place that I find doctrine is right in the Word of God , it is Scripture . It is Scripture all the way through . Your Word is so .
Speaker 2What does Jesus say ? In the beginning was the Word , and the word was with God . He was with God in the beginning . What does Jesus say ? Through the gospel of John , through that great writer , john the writer ? He writes in John , chapter 1 , verse 14 , and the word became flesh , psalm 119 , your word is a lamp . Jesus is my lamp , not preachers and teachers , not denominations , not the social media church .
Speaker 2Jesus is the way . There is no other way . All the other faiths say there's many ways to God . There's only one way . What is your way then ? What is your interpretation ? There's only one way . What is your way then ? What is your interpretation ? It's not my interpretation , it is fact . It's not my understanding , it's fact . It's what the Bible says . It is revelational knowledge . The Bible says I am the way , the truth and the life . And what does he finish off and say I am the way , the truth , the life . No one can get to the father except through me . No buddha , no harry potter , no divination , no witchcraft . You'll never get to god that way . You won't get through it through any other faith . You there's no other way into heaven . There is no other way to be saved except to be born from above .
Speaker 2As I've said many times , the greatest message that was ever preached was out of the gospel of John you must be born again . That is the message . What do you mean ? That is the message . But yeah , we listen to this , we listen to that . They're great preachers and teachers out there . They're not great , I'm not great , I'm just just get by by the skin of me teeth . Literally just get by by the skin of me teeth . The greatest preacher the world has ever seen is Jesus . The way he lived , the way he walked , the way he spoke , the way he respected human beings and he delivered a message that shook the whole world to this day , and the whole world is talking about it you must be born again . That is it .
Speaker 2The Bible says in Psalm 119 , as we've just read , your word is a lamp . What does Jesus say ? I am the living word . The word become in John . Jesus said I am the light of the world .
Speaker 2What did God say at the very beginning of time ? Let there be light . If he wanted light and darkness to mold and to move together , he would have kept it together . Yeah , but I hear those out there . Yeah , but you're talking about creation . It's more than creation , because the spiritual is always first .
Speaker 2So when God said let there be light , he was telling us and he was giving us the creation plan and he was giving us the blueprint , but also he was giving us the spiritual message that is behind creation . It isn't just a message of the birds , it isn't just a message of the fish , it's a message of this God is in charge of sickness , disease . He is the God of redemption , he is the God of power . You know , redemption starts at the book of Genesis , genesis , chapter one . We got a tiny little glimmer of redemption . How do you , how can you , how do you get that ? How can you say salvation is in Genesis , genesis , chapter 1 . Verse 3 , let there be light . Light is Christ . Christ is the saviour of the world . Christ is God . God is the giver of salvation , god gives salvation . So suddenly you find in Genesis , chapter 1 , verse 3 , salvation , redemption , hope , light , power . And straight away , straight away , what happens ? Straight away , god says light and darkness . You're separated , you can't be woven together . It's impossible .
Speaker 2At the very kick point of what we understand creation is and was . I believe in creation . I believe that we have a young earth , that we're around about 6,500 years old . People will say you're off your rocker , son , but if you use the maths and the chronological understanding of the Bible , we ain't millions of years old . You know I didn't come from a monkey . You know I don't just eat bananas , I eat McDonald's and kebabs . You know I shave every day . Monkeys can't shave .
Speaker 2When you look at evolution , what did Darwin say when he was about to cross over ? I wish I never gave that stupid theory . I didn't mean it to do what it done because he was angry at who ? The devil ? No , he was angry at god . Why ? Because he lost
his wife to cancer . He was angry . So he wrote something that was opposed to scripture . But he knew who God was and he said why did I write that ? Why did I bring that to the table . Why did it accelerate ? I didn't mean it to be like it is , but that is so powerful and true of the dark side , because what you see through evolution is that you're not meant to help anybody . You're supposed to trample on whoever to get to the top of the tree , because that's what it is survival of the fittest . That isn't scripture .
Speaker 2And I want to tell you right now , as we come to the table , that the greatest book the world has ever seen is known as the Word of God . It is the greatest book across the world . There is power in the name of Jesus . Let's be bold , let's be braggadocious .
Speaker 2Let's take a Bible , take Bibles out of this church . These Bibles are not meant to be here . Take them out and give them away . If you're too frightened to give them away to a human , leave them in the trolley of Asda . Sorry , asda , leave them in the trolley .
Speaker 2Maybe you shop somewhere really posh Marks and Spencer's . Maybe leave it in the chicken shop when you go in there . Maybe leave it in the kebab shop . Just take a Bible and give a word away , because you're giving life away . You're giving life away . Give that away . God loves you and there is power .
Speaker 2In the name of Jesus , do we realize that the working of the cross , known as salvation , cannot be undone , cannot be undone , cannot be undone ? So if you know that you're born again , if you know that the Spirit of the Lord is living within you , amen . So let's use this time together . We've got about 13 minutes before we disappear back into Harry Potter land in a puff of smoke , back to Hogwarts . If you are worried about life , come to the cross . If you're stressed , come to the cross , because the cross is all the way through the Bible . The cross is from Genesis to Revelation . So , as we come to the table today , as I always say , we're not coming to a religious activity , we're coming to the most powerful , powerful move we could ever do .
Speaker 2If you're at home today , we welcome you on your own . If you're at home today , we welcome you on your own . If you're out in a field , we welcome you today . If you're out walking , we welcome you today . And for those that are with me today , we welcome you . But we're going to break bread and we want to encourage everybody Every day , when you're at home , when you're at work , get yourself a bit of bread . It's not meant to be done in this building . It's not meant to be just done in church .
Speaker 2Where was jesus when he done it ? He was in a borrowed room . He was upstairs above a kebab shop . He was upstairs in a and shops are underneath it and he probably went . Stavros gets a bit of that pit of bread a minute . Can you Get a bit of that doner meat , can you ? I'm just going to do something .
Speaker 2This is so important , so important to us as believers that Jesus wasn't in a church when he delivered this . He was in a borrowed room . It wasn't his . There was no cross on the wall . There was no swinging of incense . There was no man dressed in a dress known as clergy . It was just jesus and the 12 fruit loops disciples . He didn't say Froot Loops , did he ? But they was individuals , human beings , that got it wrong . They was men that didn't even know what Jesus was talking about at the table , because they went to one another . What's he talking about down there ? What's he saying to Judas ? What are they talking about ? Oh , don't worry , pass us the chips . Come on , let's get on .
Speaker 2When you study the passover , it is for everyone , from every tribe , every tongue across the world . So if you're at home today . Thank you for joining us if you're in a field , thank you for joining us If you're in a field , thank you for joining us . If you're in church , thank you Wherever you are . This is not meant just to be built and brought Into a building . Take it out with you , with your , with your brothers and sisters .
Speaker 2Break bread down the town , sit on a bench , sit in a bench , sit in a field , sit in your work vehicle On the commute . Imagine that , seeing that on a Monday morning commuting and you've got a little bit of they go Koi's and Alka is he's trying to soak it up with a bit of bread . Imagine that , sitting on the London train bound for London , you're sitting there with your bible open and you've got a tiny little bit of grape juice and you've got a tiny bit of bread and you're just sitting there quiet . You're just sitting there just praying from within . Father , I thank you for this cup because it symbolizes the blood . Thank you for this bread . I'm doing it publicly .
Speaker 2Why do we do this hidden ? We do it hidden away from the world . We do it hidden away . Jesus done it in a public space . He done it . It was done in public , outside . It was done in a borrowed place , it wasn't in an alien building . It was given by the only high priest , and the high priest never rejected anybody judas . He brought judas in .
Speaker 2So , father , as we come to the table today , I ask you , lord , right now , as we break bread , as we take it a cup , father , as we break this bread together , as born again , not belonging to a denomination , but belonging to the King , lord , I thank you that we belong to the King , the King of the Jews , the Redeemer , the author and a perfecter of our faith . Holy Spirit , we know you're in our lives , but we want to fill your presence more . Jesus , we know you're in our lives , but we want to feel your presence more . Jesus , we know you're in our lives , but we want to feel you more . God , father , we know you're in our lives , but we want you more . Please reveal yourself , strip us back , lead us and guide us as we break bread . Father , we thank you for this symbol of bread today that we break , lord , and as we break bread across the world and in the house , father , we thank you that this bread symbolizes the body of Christ . And today , lord , I come to the cross , just me and me alone and I say thank you , father . Thank you , lord , that I'm forgiven . Thank you , lord , that I'm cleansed . Thank you , lord , that I'm not rejected , that I'm grafted in , that I am grafted in to the vine . Thank you , lord , that the gardener doesn't reject me but you trim back , you strip me back and you get me ready to produce a greater crop . I pray that , as we're stripped back , that we will realize that God is stripping us back and he's getting us ready for a greater harvest that lies ahead . So , Father , bless this bread in Jesus' name . Amen , spirit of the Living God , we come to you today . We come to you , jesus , broken , lost , fearful , uncertain , not sure , scared , worried . We come lord with every emotion under the sun and lord all the fears of living , of breathing , of walking , of dying , the worry of tomorrow , the worry of this afternoon , the worry of life . Father , we want to lay at the cross today , father , we want to lay it at the cross today . Will you help us to lay everything at the cross ? And , lord , as we take this cup , as we take this cup , we thank you that this is the cup of redemption , the redeeming cup . So , lord , it
is powerless within itself because it's just grape juice .
Speaker 2But the Bible says there's life in the blood , blood at the cross that was shed at the cross , shed at the cross . It started just after the garden . We understand when he was beaten . The bleeding of Jesus didn't start at the cross , it started before that . So his blood was shed . He was punched . For us , he was ridiculed . For us , he was spat at . For us , he was stripped bare for us . He was put into a position in the high priest's courtyard where they tore his clothes and they whipped him so hard . His ribs were on show . They punched him so hard he didn't react . His skin was on the whipper , his blood was everywhere .
Speaker 2And he gets to the cross hours and hours later , exhausted and drawn , worn and weary . And he said , father , forgive them , for they know no what they do , drawn , worn and weary . And he said , father , forgive them , for they know no what they do . What a saviour , what a king . He couldn't even carry the cross . He collapsed on the journey . The cross was too heavy , he couldn't carry the cross .
Speaker 2That's quite an interesting analogy , really , because that is the action of the garden of Gethsemane . If it is possible , take this from me because I can't carry that . And then we see the physical being executed just a few steps outside of Pilate and Herod's grip . He collapses just with the weight of the structure of the cross . So , father , as I take this cup , cleanse me from the crown of my head to the sole of my feet . Amen . You know the King loves you . The King went to the cross , loved you . The king went to the cross for you and I actually believe with all my fibers of my being that we are living in most powerful days . I believe Jesus Christ is coming back . I believe in the ascension of Christ . I believe that Jesus is coming back . I believe from Genesis to Revelation .
Speaker 2I don't understand it because I don't have the capabilities as a human being to understand , because I can't understand a spiritual book . It's not by knowledge I get it , it's by the Spirit of God . So when we read the Word , it is the Spirit , the Holy Spirit , that opens us up to understand the Word . So I can't read it as just a piece of literature . I've got to say God , as I read this . I'm tired , I'm weary , I'm exhausted . I want you , lord , to open my heart as I read it . I want this book to come alive because it's through revelational knowledge . Through revelational knowledge , god reveals .
Speaker 2Let's pray , father , in the name of Jesus . Can you get us ready for the second coming of Jesus ? Can you get us ready for today , lord ? Will you fire us up with a word ? Lord , we want more anointing . We want it to our cup Runneth , runneth , runneth over Lord .
Speaker 2I'm sorry , lord , that sometimes I doubt . I'm sorry , lord , that sometimes I walk in fear . I'm sorry , lord , that sometimes I doubt . I'm sorry , lord , that sometimes I walk in fear . I'm sorry , lord , that sometimes I get confused and uncertain . But , lord , you know that and you still took the whipping , you still was punched for me . You still gave your life for me . Even when I foul you , even when I let you down , even when I trip and slide on the ice of life , even when I fall , you pick me up . Even when I land in the miry pit , just like David , and I can't get out of the pit of despair and I can't climb out because the walls of life are so slippery and I feel like the walls are caving in on me . Even when I cry out in fear and doubt , you stretch out your right hand and pull me out spiritually , even when I don't realize you're drawing me out , even when I'm still crying , even when I'm still hurting , even when I'm lost in the crazy way of this life .
Speaker 2Holy Spirit , as we come to a close , will you bless everybody in the house today , over and over ? The same prayer for everybody online . The same prayer in the house online on radio audio Father , we pray today for the vast numbers that are with us . Lord , that there'll be such a beautiful presence of you in our lives . But , lord , help us not to look with eyes of the world , but to look with eyes of faith , not as a world viewpoint , but , lord , to look as by faith , the just shall live by faith in prayer .
Speaker 2As we come to a close , believe for your healing . Believe that you've got a new heart , new lungs , new mind . You're walking right . Pain has gone in your joints . Believe pain has gone in your thinking . Believe that ADHD is reversed . Believe that post-traumatic stress disorder has been crushed at the name of Jesus . Believe that all the mental health stuff has dissolved . At the name of Jesus . Believe that you've got a new kidney . Believe that your skeletal , your structure , is strong . Believe that you are healed If you are in hospital . Believe today like you've never believed before .
