Without further ado , let's dive into today's devotional and discover the power of God's unshakable
truth . We're going to go directly to the book of Isaiah . If you have a Bible , grab yourself a Bible . If you're able to get a Bible , open up the word of God and let's just dive in together . And we're going to go to the book of Isaiah and we're going to go to chapter 40 , wherever you are at this moment , let's grab the word of God . And we are going to go straight into Isaiah , chapter 40 , and we're going to go to that beautiful verse and it is simple to read and it is verse 29 onwards he gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak . Even the youths grow tired and weary . Young men stumble and fall Verse 31 . I love this . But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength . They will soar on wings as of eagles . They will run and not grow weary . They will walk and not be faint . What a lovely bit of scripture to start the day .
Speaker 1Wherever you are at this moment , let's just take a moment just to look at these scriptures . He says in verse 29 of Isaiah , chapter 40 , he gives strength to the weary . Do you feel weary at this moment ? Is life making you tired and exhausted ? Are you looking at life and thinking ? Hang on a moment , this is a little bit wearing . You know I'm feeling weary , I'm feeling tired , I'm feeling a little bit exhausted . You know what ? It's okay to feel like that ? What happens is is when we allow ourselves to feel like that , it's a good , is a good place for us to be actually so , when we feel like that , it's a place of refreshing , it's a place of hope , because we are recognizing that we are weary and we can't mask it and we can't duck our heads in the sand and just say to one another yes , I'm blessed and highly favored , wonderfully and fearfully made . Speaker 1Brother and sister , you know , like the church within the UK , you're masking things . We have to deal with stuff because the more we talk about things , the more we talk about mental health . So when you look at that scripture there , you know he gives strength and rest to the weary . You know your mind , your body , your soul . But when we think about the mind , when we talk about the mind , the mind is so powerful . The mind will take you to so many different places . And if you're weary in your mind , what happens is it makes us weak in the rest of our lives .
Speaker 1Now , when we're tired I'm not saying about being weak minded , I'm not referring to that , but I'm referring to in this devotion is , literally , you know , when we're weary and we're exhausted and your body's tired and your mind is weary and you just feel like , oh Lord , can you help me today ? But that leads to mental health , doesn't it ? How is your mental health today ? How is your mind today ? How is your mindset ? What are you focusing on today ? What is going on ? Do you feel a little bit worn out ? Do you feel a little bit exhausted ? Do you feel a bit run down . You feel a little bit out of tune . The drum beat isn't beating the same as what it was yesterday and the day before . There's something different about today . You just feel a little bit weary and tiring .
Speaker 1But you know , the good book says something so clear and so powerful and we need to hold on to that . We really need to hold on to that . And he says in verse 29 of Isaiah , chapter 40 , he gives strength to the weary , he's strengthening you . And then sometimes we say , well , hang on a minute , I don't feel any different , I don't feel any difference in my body . I don't , I don't seem to be any different . That is your body and my body and all of our bodies just telling us you know , it's okay , it's okay .
Speaker 1You know God , through the speed and through the time of the Word of God . He strengthens us even when we realize we're not being strengthened . He makes a way when we can't see a way . He helps us when we feel helpless . He leads us , you know , in righteousness , even when we feel unrighteous and weary and tired . And I don't want to go to church today , I don't want to go to work today , I just can't seem to get the right attitude .
Speaker 1You know he gives strength to the weary . I love the word , because the word really speaks about people that are weary and tired . You know , and just worn out , are you worn out ? We are living in very , very powerful days . We're going to come to some prayer . We're going to have some prayer . I think it's time for us . We just gather for prayer . You know , we've just read the scripture out . He gives strength to the weary and he will carry you , he will bless you . You saw on wings as of eagles . You know God is with you , but let's pray as we just gather for this hour , wherever you are . Thank you for joining us

Speaker 1Father , in the name of Jesus , I do feel weary today , but I'm frightened to tell the people around me , I'm frightened to tell family , I'm frightened to tell friends and sometimes , lord , I'm frightened to admit it to myself . I'm just weary of life . I'm weary of life , lord . I can't even put my finger on it today . I'm not even quite sure what it is today , but I just don't seem to be right , lord . The cogs of life just seem to be getting on my nerves . Lord , I feel just drained a bit . I can't work things out . Lord , will you help me , in the name of Jesus . So , lord , in this prayer time , lord , I bring everything to the cross . And , lord , sometimes I don't even know how to bring it to the cross . I'm just saying it , lord , because the Bible says I'm going to come to the cross and I'm going to trust you , jesus , for my life . I'm going to trust you for my hope . I'm trusting you for my salvation . I'm trusting you to help me pay the bills .
Speaker 1Lord , I'm weary of the money situation . I'm tired of always chasing a pound , chasing the euro , chasing the dollar . Lord , I'm always tired of chasing money . Lord , all I ever do is just pay bills . Will you help me , jesus ? I need rest .
Speaker 1So , father , I come to you today , lord , and I ask you that you will give me rest and you will give me strength . You will open my heart , my mind , my body and my soul . Lord , I believe in the power of the word of God , but my body is telling me that I'm tired . My mind is telling me that I'm weary , but you tell me that you give . He gives strength to the weary and increases power of the weak . Lord , I need an increase of power because , on this commute , I don't want to go to work , lord , on this commute , I just don't want to face the life manager .
Speaker 1Today , lord , on this commute to life , lord , I just don't want to get out of bed . Today I'm weary and I need you to strengthen me , lord , I need you to guide me , I need you to lead me , lord , I need you to wrap your arms around me because I feel quite helpless today , lord , I feel really helpless , I feel really lost . I don't know what to do with myself . I've got to get into work , I've got to get into life and , lord , I'm really tired and exhausted . Lord , I am tired . Help me , jesus , my body is weary .
Speaker 1Lord , I'm feeling weary in my bones . I feel it in my fingers , I feel it in my hips . My legs , my bones are aching today , lord , but you tell me that you give strength , you increase power to those that feel vulnerable . You increase power to those that are weary and tired and heavy . Laden Father , as it says in the good book , in verse 29 of Isaiah 40 , he gives strength to the weary and increases power to the weak . Lord , I want to put my hands up today and tell the world I'm weak and I'm weary . But I want to thank you , lord , as I admit to myself . Lord , as I speak it out across the airways , across the world , I want to thank you that you are increasing your power in me , that you're increasing your power in all of us . Lord that say Lord , yeah , I feel weak today .
Speaker 1Lord , I feel weary . My body's aching , I can't get my mind right today . Lord , I don't know what's wrong , but I can't seem to focus . Lord , my mind is all over the place . Lord , it's raining out , it's wet out , it's windy out . Lord , it's too hot out , it's too cold out . Lord , I can't get comfortable .
I can't make my mind up , lord , what I want to do with myself today . But I've got to get into work . I've got to do A , b , c and D . But , lord , I need help today because I'm weary .
Speaker 1But , lord , I'm going to swap this weariness for a miracle , I'm going to swap my tiredness for a miracle and I'm claiming victory over my body , on my mind today . And , lord , I speak words of faith over my body . And , lord , this life application , lord , I speak the word over my life . So , lord , I'm not weary , I'm blessed and highly favoured . Lord , I'm not tired and I'm not weak . I'm strong in the word of God . So , lord , I'm going to rise on wings as of eagles . I'm going to stand tall today , wherever I am . Lord , I'm going to rise on wings as of eagles . I'm going to stand tall today , wherever I am . Lord , I'm going to be bold as a lion in the name of Jesus . Lord , I'm going to rise on wings as of eagles .
Speaker 1And today , this is the day where my weariness disappears . It melts like wax at the name of Jesus . And today , lord , I claim the things that are not as though they are . I call to God that calls the things that are not as though they are , and I speak over my life and I thank you that bills are paid , family is well , I'm healed . In the name of Jesus , your love is unconditional . I stand on the rock of all ages because this is a powerful day , because I am free . Today , I am blessed . Today , I am rich in your word .
Speaker 1Today , lord , I am not going to take any notice of my emotions . Lord , I'm not going to allow my emotions to dictate to me . And Lord , to stop me , lord , having a bad day . Lord , I'm going to rise today . Lord , I ain't going to allow my emotions I can allow my fear or my doubt to control me , because I'm going to rise today , lord . I ain't going to allow my emotions , I ain't going to allow my fear or my doubt to control me , because I'm going to rise today in the name of Jesus and through this prayer time , through this daily devotion , lord , I'm going to come to the cross , lord , and I'm just going to lay it down at the foot of the cross today and I'm going to say thank you , heavenly Father , that you are rich in my life , that I have the Holy Spirit , that I walk with the Father and the Son , and the Son loves me , the Father loves me , the Holy Spirit is with me , I'm anointed and I'm blessed and highly favored . So , lord , I am not going to be weary today .
Speaker 1As the hour goes , as the two hours increase three and four hours Lord , I'm going to feel the strength of my God , I'm going to feel the blessings of my God , I'm going to feel the love of my God , I'm going to feel the presence of my God , because this is the day that the Lord has made . I shall rejoice and be glad , and I feel your presence , lord , my body is telling me otherwise , my mind is telling me otherwise , but I love and I worship you , jesus . So , lord , I'm not going to listen to my emotions . I'm not going to listen , dear God , to my feelings . I'm going to live by faith . And , lord , I say thank you , yes and amen . Lord , bless us through this prayer time . In the name of Jesus , amen .
Speaker 1You know , we've had a bit of a Bible reading , we've had a little bit of understanding of the word and we've had a bit of prayer . And now I'm just going to read back through this , you know , and we are in verse 29 of the book of Isaiah 40 . And it says he gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak . I love that . So when I feel weary , when I feel tired , he increases the power . Lord , increase , we declare , increase , power of
the weak , strengthen our bones . Then he says even the youths grow tired and weary . Young men will stumble and fall .
Speaker 1But those who hope in the Lord , Lord , I'm hoping in you today . Oh yes , lord , I'm hoping in you . Wherever I am across this world , I'm hoping in my God today , I'm trusting in my God and my King today and Lord , I thank you that hope shall prevail , because my God shall supply all my needs according to thy riches in glory , lord . I am not going without anything in the name of Jesus , but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength . Thank you , lord , that you're renewing my strength . Thank you , lord , that you're renewing my strength , and I speak this over my brothers and sisters , who are listening to this daily devotional podcast .
Speaker 1In these 15 minutes , I believe that you are strengthening all those that hear the sound of my voice , all those , lord , that are listening to the word of God . I believe , lord , that you're increasing in hope in their lives , you're increasing the faith , you're increasing the strength . And they will , as it says in verse 31 of Isaiah , chapter 40 , they will soar on wings like eagles . They will run and not grow weary . They will walk and not be faint . Today . Today , lord , let them be on fire for you . Let the glory shine , Let the strength , father of our God , the word of God , be with brothers and sisters . Today , lord , I thank you for their lives , wherever they are scattered across this world . I thank you for everyone in the name of Jesus , and I pray and I thank you , lord , that you are strengthening those that are weary . You're increasing your power in those that are tired and , lord , we thank you that they shall soar on wings as of eagles . Lord , they're doing great things , they're doing great exploits in the name of Jesus Christ , because your strength is with them .
