devotional prayer , this five-minute prayer . What are we praying for ? Where are we going , pastor Ben ? What are we doing , rev ? What are we doing today ? Well , today's devotional prayer , this five-minute prayer . We are going to the book of Philippians , 4 , verse 19 . So , wherever you are across this amazing , this beautiful world , I want to encourage you right now that there is financial breakthrough . So the prayer title today is pray for financial breakthrough . Philippians , chapter four , verse 19 . And my God will meet all your needs . Father , we come to you this morning and we know that , wherever we are today , lord , that we are not going to look at the weight of the money , we are not going to look at the sterling , we're not going to look at the dollar or the euro , we are going to look at our God . So , father , we are praying this morning for financial breakthrough . In the mighty name of Jesus Christ and Lord , we lay hold of Philippians , chapter 4 , verse 19 . And you tell me , you tell us , lord , that my God shall supply all my needs according to thy riches in glory .
Speaker 1So today , lord , at whatever hour this is in our lives , wherever we are positioned across the world , father , we believe in breakthrough , we believe in the power of miracles , we believe that our God is going to pay the bills . We believe our God is going to feed us . We believe our God is going to help us to get to work . We believe , lord , that you're going to correct , in the financial areas of our lives , maybe , where we have made a mistake , where we've overspent , where we've overlooked , where we haven't been good stewards of money . So , lord , if I myself , lord , as I pray to my brothers and sisters across the world , if I have failed , dear God , as a good steward of money , lord , as I pray to my brothers and sisters across the world , if I have failed , dear God , as a good steward of money , lord , will you forgive me . So , lord , will you help me , help me pay my bills . Lord , will you help me put food on the table . Will you help me get everything right ?
Speaker 1Lord , even through this ministry , lord , I pray that you will help us with financial breakthrough in this church , keeping this church moving . Lord , every one of us needs you in the financial area of help . Lord , will you take away the worry ? Lord , stop me worrying , stop us worrying about finances . Lord , help us , dear God , to rest in you .
Speaker 1So today , lord , my God , shall supply all my needs according to thy riches in glory . And Lord , we pray that there'll be enough gas in the meter . There'll be , lord , enough electricity in the home , father , there'll be enough fuel in the car , the truck or the van to
get to work . Father , to do the school run . Lord , help us to keep the house warm . Father , help us to feed the children . Help us , dear God , these practical things that we have in this world . Father , when we look at the world , lord , we look at everything rising financially , lord , and we're struggling and we need you , lord and Lord , I'm not worried about telling the world that I need you in help , lord , right now , at this hour , at this day , that , lord , I need you to come through . Today , lord , we need financial breakthrough . Lord , the prayer as we pray , as we lock shields of faith together as brothers and sisters around the world .
Speaker 1Spirit of the living God , my God shall supply all my needs according to thy riches in glory . Help me , lord , not to worry . Help me not to be fearful of money . Help me , dear God , not to look at the weight and the pound and the dollar and the euro and the currency of wherever I am across the world . Help me not to put the value of everything in what I don't have and what I have in my pocket . Lord , help me to let that go . Help me to cut that off . Lord , I don't want to worry and I don't want to , lord , come into numerics and rely on the calculating of the money and the bills . I don't want that , lord . I want to live by faith . Lord , I want to go to work and earn and work and do what I got to do . But , lord , I don't want Lord to be worrying on a Friday or at the end of the month and saying , lord , I haven't got enough , what shall I do ? Lord , will you help me ?
Speaker 1Lord , I think , dear God , of the fishes and the loaves , when they brought the fishes and the loaves to you , they said this is all we have . And , lord , this goes for every one of us today . This is all we have and we hand it over to you . But you blessed it . You blessed it and you lifted your hands and you blessed the loaves and the fish and when it came back , it was the same . It looked the same , it smelt the same , it was the tangible presence . It was the same . But it was the distribution . So help us , lord , as we distribute our wages . It will go further . So , lord , we believe our wages are going to go further . Universal credit is . It will go further . So , lord , we believe our wages are going to go further . Universal credit is going to go further . Lord , helps that come through the door are going to go further . Lord , even though we might look and we see , the amount and the volume is the same , that same hundred pound that we gave you , that you gave us back . Lord is going to go further . You are a God of the miracle working power of everything . Increase , increase . So today , lord , through this prayer time , we ask you , lord , that you will stop us worrying about the pressure of finances
. This is the day that the Lord has made . I shall rejoice and be glad there is breakthrough in your life . God will stretch the finances . Hand it over to him this morning .
