We're coming , uh , from the book of joshua , chapter 24 , verse 15 , as we just gather for prayer wherever you are , in the mighty name of jesus christ , and the title of this five minute prayer time is simply praying for families . Father , in the name of Jesus , through the book of Joshua , chapter 24 , verse 15 , you tell us as for me and my house , we shall serve the Lord . So , father , we pray for families today scattered across the world . We pray for those , dear God , families that have been bruised , those families that have been hurt , those families that have been torn apart , lord , through whatever reason and whatever situation may be . So , father , we ask you that , as for us and our house , we shall serve the Lord , that the children , the parents , the grandparents , the husband , the wife , the brother , the sister , everyone within the family unit , will serve the Lord . So , father , in our house , around our house , father , we ask you that you , dear God , will lead us in paths of righteousness and we will serve you , we will walk with you , lord , that all of our family members will be saved , blood washed and sanctified in the name of Jesus . But families across the world , every tribe , every color , every tongue , every creed .
Speaker 1We pray , lord , for such an outpouring of your spirit over families , in the name of Jesus , that you will bless families today , that families will be healed , that sickness , disease , fear , lord , lack , will be gone at the name of Jesus . So , lord , wherever families are , you will strengthen them and encourage them . For those , dear God , that are living in families , lord , with trouble , with pain , with fear , with doubt , let there be healing . For those that are going through bereavement , lord , we pray for healing For those that are going through loss . Lord , families that are being
torn apart , split in two , father , we pray for healing now , at the name of Jesus . So , father , wherever families are across the world , we pray that you will strengthen families and you will be with families and the blood of Jesus will be over them . Wherever we are scattered , lord , let there be healing .
Speaker 1Today , we pray for the children . We pray that you will strengthen them and bless them the parents , the grandparents , the stepfamilies , this family , that family , all families , lord , the prayer is wide and bold and we believe in miracles . So today , wherever the family unit is , lord , let your glory rest on them , let your presence be through them . We ask you , father , that the love of God will be over every family , today and through the book of Joshua , chapter 24 , verse 15, . As for me and my house , we will serve the Lord . I pray , lord .
Speaker 1As for me , as the scripture says , as for me and everyone in my house , our house , we will serve the Lord , whoever lives under the same roof , whatever the family connection is .
Speaker 1Lord , we pray that we will serve Jesus , not serve the church , not serve ministry , not be a slave to religion , but we will be slaves to righteousness and
we will serve the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords , that we will walk with Jesus .
Speaker 1So , lord , everybody in our families , we pray , lord , for the lost in our families , lord , that you will save the lost at the name of Jesus and they will know Christ as their Lord and Saviour .
Speaker 1So today , through this powerful prayer time together , as we connect as the family of God around the world . Spirit , lord , glory , power anointing , let your love , let the fruit of the Spirit be over families today , wherever they are . At the name of Jesus , father , we are blessed . Lord , enrich this world with godly families , strengthen families from the youngest to the oldest , every tribe , every tongue , every creed . We pray that the love of God will be over families today . So we prayed from the book of Joshua , 24 , verse 15 , and the title of this prayer time together today is simple praying for families
