Speaker 1We're praying in this five minute time together from the book of Colossians , chapter 3 , verses 13 to 14 , and the title of this prayer is praying for relationships . The Bible says bear with each other and forgive . Father , will you help us today , lord ? Will you help us in the area of forgiveness for those relationships that are broken ? For those relationships that are broken , for those relationships that are tired , for those relationships with a husband , wife , brother , sister , children , parent , grandparent , whoever , and however , father , we pray , lord , for forgiveness . Lord , we ask you that you will strengthen every one of us in this area of forgiveness because , lord , when I think of christ on the cross of calvary , he said , father , forgive them , for they know , know what they do . So , lord , we understand that we got to forgive for those that have hurt us , for those that have broken hearts , for those that have torn us to pieces , for those that have destroyed , for those , dear god , that have been raging and angry and , uh , in very turmoil situations . We pray , lord , that we will forgive , that we will forgive and we will bring this to the cross of calvary . But , lord , relationships , lord , whether that's from children to parent , parent to children , father , husband , wife , wife to husband , grandparents , brothers , sisters
, brothers , sisters , you know aunts , uncles , nephews , nieces , lord , it's long today , jesus , the list is long through this raw prayer time together , and we thank you that this is real , lord , that these prayer times are real , lord . We thank you , jesus , that we're having these real rare times with you , where you're really speaking to our hearts .
Speaker 1But , lord , we pray for relationships , lord , we pray , lord , for relationships that have been broken , that have been abused , that have been torn apart , that have been affected , lord , by certain areas of life . So today , lord , we ask you for strength in the name of Jesus , lord , that there will be forgiveness , that there will be love , lord , to those that have been hurt , those that are hurting and those that have been hurt . Lord , that there will be miracles in lives . Today , lord , this is a tough subject , lord , this is a raw subject . This can be painful , father . So , lord , we ask you for help . How to forgive . Lord , we understand the greatest part of this is forgiveness , and help me , help us , help those , help all of us to forgive because , lord , we realize that forgiveness brings peace and we need peace . So today , lord , I need peace , my sisters need peace , my brothers need peace .
Speaker 1Lord , we are searching and we are seeking a way forward for those that have been hurt year in , year out , day after day , for those that are going through broken relationships , those that are going through historical bad situations . For those , dear god , that are free from relationships
but are still having post-traumatic stress disorder , those that are having mental health issues over old , painful relationships . Let Let there be healing . We pray for healing today , lord . We pray , lord , that we will bear with each other and forgive , but , lord , we ask for healing , we ask for strengthening . We ask , dear God , for unity , for peace , for power , for your anointing over each and every one of us that you will give us the fruit of the spirit , the gifts of the spirit that will be forbearing . Lord that we will share love , that we will be forgiving , and lord that we will lord our hearts will recover in the name of jesus .
Speaker 1So , father , wherever we are , whatever life looks like , lord , this is a tough prayer . This is a tough prayer today . This is a tough prayer , lord . So , father , we pray for relationships and , father , we thank you for the book of Colossians , 3 , verse 13 to 14 . Lord , help us to bear with each other and forgive . Lord , we love you and we bless you in the mighty name , the beautiful name of Jesus Christ .
