Speaker 1The title of this morning , this hour , this evening , this millisecond , wherever you are , the title of this prayer time together is just simply called Quiet Time , reflective Prayer , coming from the book of Psalms 46 , verse 10 . Be still and know that I am God . Father , we come to you now and we need to be still today . Lord , our minds , lord , we can hear our minds . Lord , over racing , overthinking , overworking . Lord , father , will you give peace in our minds today ? Will you give us strength today , lord , that we will not listen to the racket of our minds , we won't listen to the noise in our head , but we will be still and know that you are God . Will you bring the quietness to our heart ? Will you bring the quietness to our spirit ? Will you bring that place , lord , that we need to be in ? Lord , we need to rest and we know that the word of God tells us to rest . But , lord , amongst the rest , we've got to be still and through this prayer time , can you help us to be still through thought , through understanding , lord . I'm sorry , lord , that our minds are racing , that we're always planning , we're always engineering , we're working things out , we're working on what's happening after this prayer devotion . We're thinking about work , we're thinking about life and , lord , we don't have the time to be still and know you are God . So , lord , that is a serious command , because you're telling us , lord ,
through this prayer time , to be still and know you are God . Lord , I'm sorry , but , lord , I pray right now , lord , that you will bless my brothers and sisters around the world , that they will feel the love of God , the fire of the Holy Spirit and the presence of the Eternal Father as we reach out to you now from four corners of the globe , as we reach out for this prayer time . Lord , we believe we're healed because we're going to be still and we're going to know . We believe that the power of God is telling us to be still and know our father . We believe the Holy Spirit is leading us into paths of righteousness so that we can be still and know . So , wherever we are , father , will you just come and give us peace .
Speaker 1Today , we pray for the minds that are overthinking . We pray for the minds that , lord , god , that are racing . We pray for the minds , lord , that just won't slow down . So , father , will you help us to be still ? Will you help us to know , lord , that just won't slow down ? So , father , will you help us to be still ? Will you help us to know , lord , will you help us , father , just to gather our thoughts ? So , lord , wherever my brothers and sisters are , the born-again spirit-filled brothers and sisters , as we pray , lord , as we pray as a body , as a movement , a church without walls , lord , we pray for the fire of God today . But , lord , this quiet time , this reflective prayer , we need to be still and know that you are God .

Speaker 1Lord , will you open our hearts ? Will you help me to be still today ? Will you help me to find rest today ? Will you help me , lord , to call on the name of Jesus ? And wherever we are , whatever life looks like , however we
measure life , I pray that the fire , the fire of God , will burn in our spirit . We believe in miracles . So , lord , come . Come , holy Spirit , lord . Bring that peace that we will require . Come , holy Spirit , lord . Bring that peace that we require . Bring that place of rest that we need . Come , holy Spirit . Enable us to be still . Help us , lord , not to be fearful , just to take time out and know that you are God . So , father , I pray for my brothers and sisters , the born again , spirit filled , radical braggadocious , wherever they are across this beautiful earth . Let your love capture them now and let your presence anoint them and let them feel that peace , that rest that they need . In Jesus' name , amen .
