Let's pray . Today's title is a beautiful title and it's praying for joy in suffering . Wow , how does that make you feel , lord ? I'm not quite sure about that . So let's get straight into this prayer time . You know , may God bless you and carry you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ . The scripture is coming from the book of James , chapter 1 , verses 2 to 3 , and this is what it says as we enter into prayer together . Consider it pure joy , my brothers and sisters , when you face trials of many kinds , because you know , the testing of your faith develops perseverance . Lord , jesus , oh Lord , I thank you for your word . But sometimes , lord , just sometimes , it gets really heavy gone . So , this morning , lord , this hour , this evening , wherever we are , whatever time zone , lord , I ask you to give me strength in the mighty name of Jesus , because , lord , I'm not sure how to pray for this , because today it looks a bit obscure . Today , lord , I'm not quite sure . Lord , will you give me joy in my suffering ? Lord , will you help me ? Lord , you
tell me , through the book of James , chapter 1 , verses 2 to 3 . Consider it pure joy , my brothers and sisters , when you face trials of many kinds . Lord , help me , help me to see the eye of faith in this situation . Help me to use , lord , my faith in this situation . So , lord , I come before you right now , lord , and through trials and tribulations , the eyes of faith . Holy Spirit , I need you to help me , I need you to lead me , I need you to guide me and help me count them as pure joy , my trials , my testings , my stretching . Holy Spirit , will you help me , strengthen my faith when I feel weak and tempted to give up , lord . Help me , lord , to find it pure joy . Help me , lord , consider it pure joy . My brothers and sisters , when you face trials of many kinds .
Speaker 0Lord , I've got to be honest . I don't want to face trials of many kinds . Lord , please , holy Spirit , will you strengthen me , teach me to trust in your plan , even when I don't understand it . Father , let my suffering produce perseverance , maturity and spiritual growth . Remove every root of bitterness and replace it with a heart of gratitude and thankfulness .
Speaker 0Fill my spirit with supernatural joy today , jesus , so that I am not depending on the circumstances , but I am rising on wings as of eagles , lord , that I will soar high across the cloud line of life . Remind me , please , god . Remind me today that these trials are only temporary , but my victory is in Christ's eternal love . , as I walk through . Help me to consider this pure joy in the suffering , but lord pain , lord , to be turned and switched around . Help me , dear God , to focus on you . Remind me that these trials are very temporary , that they're not going to last forever .
Speaker 0Help me use my hardship as a testament to encourage others to be strengthened in the holy word of God . Keep me , keep me from murmuring or complaining in difficult seasons , in the mighty name of Jesus Christ . Lord , I don't want to complain , but , lord , I am a human being and , lord , I do need help . Come , holy Spirit , help me , help me to remember that your grace is sufficient for me today . So , lord , wherever we are , help us to remind ourselves that , lord , your grace is sufficient .
