Speaker 1Today I want to encourage you through this five-minute powerful time together as we talk and pray and bring the scripture into our hearts , our mind
today . So the title of the prayer is Lord , we pray for obedience , coming from the Gospel of John , chapter 14 , verse 23 . Anyone who hears , anyone who hears my teaching and obeys them , my Father will love them and we will come to them and make our home with them . Spirit of the living God , will you help me to be obedient ? Will you help me , lord , to have faith , to trust you through the obedience , lord , through the steadfast power of the word of God . And we come to you today , open-hearted . We come to you , lord and Lord . You tell us in the Gospel of John , chapter 14 , verse 23, . Lord , anyone who loves me ? Lord , I love you , but sometimes I've got to be honest . Jesus , who loves me ? Lord , I love you , but sometimes I've got to be honest , jesus , it's difficult following the word . So , lord , will you help me to be more faithful in the scripture ? Lord , give me a heart that delights to obey your word . Give me a heart , father , that will rest in the word of God . Help me to obey your word . Help me to be obedient to the scripture . Help me to , lord , god , get in the rhythm of this walk with you . Lord , I want to follow you , I want to walk with you . Lord , I want to sit at the table . Lord , in the presence of our enemies , lord , I want to feel your anointing . But , lord , help me to come to a place called obedience . Help me to love you deeply so that my obedience flows from devotion and not duty .
Speaker 1Holy Spirit , will you remove every rebellious way that I may have in my life and replace it with humility and surrender . Strengthen , strengthen my will to follow you , lord . Help me , lord , in every situation that I face , as a bible believing , believer , spirit filled , blessed and highly favored . Lord , I need your guidance . Lord , I need your strength , I need your word to lead me in paths
of righteousness .
Speaker 1The prayer for my heart today is Lord , I pray for obedience , I pray and I long for obedience . Let my obedience be complete , lord . Come Holy Spirit , both in big things and in small things . Guard my heart , lord , from selective obedience . Help me to follow the word with every commandment , all the commandments , all the love of God , all the power of the word .
Speaker 1Help me , give me courage to obey you , even when the world is pursuing me and , lord , there is compromise on the table . Help me , lord , fill me with the Holy Spirit to guide my steps so that I live in righteousness . Guide my heart , guide my eyes , guide my action . Guide me in the name of Jesus . Strengthen my bones , lord , that I may stand strong and tall and victorious in obedience . Lord , help me to be obedient . Help me to follow your teaching . Help me , lord , to stand at the throne of grace and say thank you , holy Spirit that you are leading me in paths of righteousness . Come , lord , refresh this heart today and help me to be delightful . Help me to delight . Help me to rest in obedience in your word . I love you , god . I worship you , I adore you , lord , come , strengthen my will to follow you in every which way possible , even when it costs me to follow you . Help me to be obedient in the mighty name of Jesus Christ . Amen .
