Speaker 1Let's get straight into prayer for these five minutes as we gather around the world and may the Holy Spirit lead you . May the God that we serve encourage you and may Jesus Christ be that word that you need today . Without further ado , let's jump straight into and we're going to pray today , and the scripture reference is coming from Psalm 90 , verse 17
. It's quite a beautiful psalm . This morning , this evening , this afternoon , wherever you are , we pray that the fire of god will touch you . In the mighty name of jesus , psalm 90 , verse 17 , and it says may the favor of the lord , our god , rest on you . Establish the work of our hands for us , yes , establish the work of our hands . Let us , yes , establish the work of our hands . Let me repeat that May the favor of the Lord , our God , rest on you . The prayer today . The title is Praying for Productivity .
Speaker 1Father , in the name of Jesus , will you help us , father , to be productive on this earth in which we walk ? That , lord , I will not waste any time in my life . Lord , I would avoid areas of life where it will be wasteful , that I will avoid certain things that are distractive to me . In the name of Jesus , lord , give me clarity on the task and the matter that lies ahead at work , at home , at school , wherever I am . Lord , will your favor just rest on me today , in the mighty name of Jesus Christ . Lord , take the fog away , lord , let our vision be clear . Help us to avoid all the distractions of the world .
Speaker 1Help us to be very productive in our walk , in our life , in every area of life . Help us , lord , to be productive for ourselves , for family , for friends , for work , for life , for ministry , for school , for education . Help us , father , to stretch out and be very productive for the community around us . And , lord , we thank you that favor rests upon our work , lord , the work of our hands . Father , we thank you that we are blessed and highly favored , wonderfully and fearfully made . And , lord , will you remove anything and anyone from our lives that is stopping us and hindering us from being productive ? Lord , that we won't sit back , that we will rise and we will move forward . Let my work be done in the spirit of excellence and joy .
Speaker 1Lord , let me work hard , lord , let me do everything that I have been given to do the tasks on this earth . Let me do them unto you , because that's what the word of God . Help me to get a balance . Help me to rest . Help me to find a balance . Help me to rest . Help me to find time to take time out , to step back and help me not to be a workaholic . Help me , father , to be focused on the scripture . Help me , father , to lean into you .
Speaker 1But , lord , I pray for every one of us that we will be very productive in our life , in our ministry , in our school , in our settings , in
our relationships . Lord everything that we do , lord . Let let us manage our time . Help us to be good managers of time . In the name of jesus , lord , let my efforts lord . Let everything be a blessing for others , to bring honor and glory to you . In the name of Jesus Christ .
Speaker 1But as the psalmist writes in Psalm 90 , verse 17 , may the favor of the Lord , our God , rest on you . There is favor on you , there is anointing on you , and I pray , whoever you are today , that you will be productive in your life , that you will press out and whatever you are doing , you will be productive in your life , that you will press out and whatever you are doing , you will see a great result . In the name of jesus . So , lord , we pray as we look through , as we pray through psalm 90 , verse 17 may the favor of the lord , our god , rest on you . Establish the work of our hands for us .
