You know , sometimes we pray and it feels like heaven has zipped up the sleeping bag and we can't get through . But God hears your prayers . I want to encourage you today through this daily devotional prayer time . Never give up speaking to God , because that's what prayer is . It's not about being in a four box wall in a church or in a religious context . It's about praying from your heart . So let's pray today like we've never prayed before , even when everything is against us . Keep praying , sister and brother . Never give up . God is

Speaker 1Today's prayer point is a very essential one that I believe every one of us need and , as we gather for this five minute time of prayer , prayers for daily provision , coming from the gospel of Matthew , chapter six , verse 11 , and coming from the gospel of Luke , chapter 11 , verse three dear God and heavenly father , give us today our daily bread , lord . I need to repeat that today , jesus . Give us today our daily bread . Help me , lord , have enough provision for food , clothing , shelter for each day , because , lord , it's quite scary sometimes . Jesus , lord , we go to work , we work hard . Lord , we do this and we do that . Lord , even if we can't work and there's a reason for that , lord we've still got bills to pay . Help us , lord .
Speaker 1In the name of Jesus , lord , we're praying for steady income and financial stability in our lives and in our homes , in every setting of our place that we move . Holy Spirit , will you please give us stability in income . Will you give us stability , lord , in our lives , father , give us steady income and help us to be stable in these turbulent times . In the name of Jesus . So , father , we come to you today . Lord and Lord , we are expecting for you to provide , because you are a God that provides . You make a way where there is no way . God , we're asking you for yourself to open doors of employment and career opportunities . So , father , strengthen us , lord . We pray for healing as well . Lord , that you will provide healing , that you will provide a way where there seems to be no way . Lord , lord , make a provision in times of economic uncertainty or inflation , help us , god , come , holy Spirit , lord , we're crying out to you .
Speaker 1Today . We pray against anxiety and fear about today's needs ,
about tomorrow's needs , about next week's bills that are rising . We pray , lord , for every letter that comes through the letterbox of life . Lord , we pray that the letters of life won't drive us to fear . So , lord , we pray for anxiety today that it will go . We pray that doubt will go . We pray for the love of God that will strengthen us , lord , when we're troubled .
Speaker 1Lord , help us to provide food for the table , clothing for ourselves and the children . Help us , lord , to be able to find enough funds to commute , to work , to put in the diesel , the petrol , whatever it may be . Help us , lord , to be able to flick on the gas and the electric and lord , as we are approaching the winter time here in the uk , father , we are worried about flicking the switch , putting the gas boilers on , the electricity on for heating . Lord , we are getting to that place , lord . So , father , we pray through the gospel of Matthew , chapter 6 , verse 11 , give us today our daily bread and help me not to worry about tomorrow . Help me , god , just to be focused on the word of God . Help me to trust you . Lord , you're going to put food on our table . Lord , you're going to put clothing on all of our backs . Lord , you're going to give us shelter .
Speaker 1We pray for those that are looking for new homes , those that have lost their homes , those that have lost their jobs , those that are petrified about financial trouble . At this moment in time , spirit of the living , god , we pray for anxiety to break . At the name of jesus , we pray again that anxiety will break about the fear of now , the fear of tomorrow and the fear of what might be . But , lord , give us today our daily bread . Come holy spirit , strengthen us today wherever we are across this world . Lord , we pray through matthew 6 , 11 , and we pray for the gospel of luke , chapter 11 , verse 3 .

In the name of Jesus , we're praying that you will meet needs of children and families . Children and families remove anxiety in the name of Jesus .
