Every day , every moment , we're praying and we're believing and you know what we're never going to give up , because god will never give up , god will never give up on you . And today we're praying for wisdom and we're praying for guidance . We're praying through the , the beautiful scripture of james , chapter 1 , verse 5 . So , without further ado , let's get in before I'll get tongue-tied again . Prayers for wisdom . Guidance from james , chapter 1 , verse 5 . This is really important for me and this is really important for all of us .
Speaker 1If any of us lacks wisdom , let him ask God . Let me read that again If any of you lack wisdom , let him ask God . Father , in the name of Jesus , lord , in the New Testament , in the Gospels , lord , we pray today through the Word , through the New Testament , through the Old Testament . But , lord , right now we pray , lord , through that beautiful book of James , chapter one , verse five . And Lord , you tell me , if I lack wisdom , I need to ask God . Lord , today I need wisdom and I'm praying , lord that wisdom will make me a better person , a better human being , and also to make the right decisions in life . Lord , because , lord , when I act outside of the wisdom of God , I act the way of the world . Lord , it is completely wrong and I make mistakes and I'm so sorry . So , lord , will you give me the wisdom of the Holy Spirit , will you give me the wisdom of Christ , the wisdom of God . So , lord , today , help me to make correct and
right decisions in my own life , lord , through church , through ministry , through my personal life , through every situation . Lord , I pray for God's guidance in career and business choices . Give us wisdom in the world of business and in career and education and family and just the run of life . Give us wisdom , lord . Help me to be discerning in relationships and friendships .
Speaker 1Lord , I pray right now , lord , for the times of confusion . Lord , that I won't be confused anymore , that there won't be any brain fog , that , lord , through the scripture , lord , I am lacking wisdom and I am calling my God for wisdom . And Lord , help me , lord , to clarify , to be strong in faith , to make the right decisions in life , whatever comes at me , as a Bible-believing believer , as a son or as a daughter , whoever we are , let us help us make godly decisions made on wisdom . And Lord , any of us that are parents , grandparents , whatever that terminology might look like Lord , whoever and wherever we are , that us that have children around us , help us , lord , to be loving to the children . Help us to be patient . Help us to be guiding Lord , these young lives in and around our life .
Speaker 1Lord , we pray for guidance in ministry , lord . This is where I need help because , lord , I run off , I run ahead of you and you know that , god . But , lord , I'm sorry that I run ahead of you . I'm sorry , lord , that I think of an idea and I don't even pray about it sometimes , lord , but I'm bold enough , lord , and I'm not worried about telling the world . I've made mistakes in ministry and in many areas of life , but by his grace , brother and sister , his grace over us , his grace is beautiful .
Speaker 1So help me , lord , to make the right decision in ministry , in life , in business , in culture , in whatever it may be , as we serve the God of Israel , so that we can be the best that we can possibly be as Bible-believing believers , whatever our role is on this earth , we want to serve you and we want the world to see that we are wise and we are God-fearing and we believe in the Word of God . So , lord , we pray for wisdom and guidance today that we will live our lives very wise and we will live our lives by the guidance of the word of God . We pray for wisdom in handling finances
and future planning . Holy Spirit , will you be our counselor in every step that we take ? Please , god , for today , because Lord help us . We need wisdom and we we need Lord . It now Come , lord , through the power of the Holy Spirit , give us wisdom .
