Speaker 0Now let's begin to pray today . I don't know where you are today , I don't know what your name is , but may god bless you and carry you in the most beautiful name . We're going to the book of 1 john 1 , verse 9 , and it says if we confess our sins , he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purity from all unrighteousness . You know , we touched this the other day , we skinned across this the other day , so today's title is Prayer for Forgiveness and Renewal . You know , I believe that forgiveness should be on our lips every day . I really believe that . So this is why we have brought this to the table today . Father , in the name of Jesus , we're praying , lord for forgiveness . And , lord , we thank you for the cross of Calvary . Lord , we thank you that we are Bible-believing believers , lord and you have saved us and we are , lord , under the blood of Jesus . So today , lord , we thank you for forgiveness , we thank you that Jesus went to the cross of Calvary . And , lord , as we stand , lord , on the crest of a new day , a wave of a new hour , lord , wherever we are across the world , father , we thank you for forgiveness and mercy over my life , over our lives . I thank you that the mercy of God is over us . So today , lord , we pray that grace will move for us and the blood of Jesus will cleanse us . Father , as we just stand , lord , on the crest of a wave of another day , of another hour , of another moment , at work , at home , wherever we are , lord , just help us to be conscious , lord , to be mindful of the cross of Calvary and just to say thank you , lord , that we are forgiven . And , lord , we want renewing . Lord , we want all the guilt . Lord , maybe , if we're guilty today , lord , if we're feeling dear God , that we're carrying stuff that we shouldn't be , lord , will you help us , lord , to leave the baggage at the cross . Help us to leave the baggage of life .
Speaker 0At the cross of Calvary , today , and , lord , I'm praying for forgiveness for myself and letting stuff out of my head . Lord , I need to let stuff go at a pass . Lord , will you help me to forgive those that have hurt me ? Lord ? Will you help me , lord , to tell people , lord , that I'm sorry . So , lord , will you help me , lord , to humble myself .
Speaker 0Lord , because , lord , when I think of the cross of Calvary , and Lord , when I think that , if I confess my sins , he is faithful and just . And I'm sorry , lord , that I foul you , I'm sorry , lord , that I sin , I'm sorry , lord , that I might have a chain of events in my life that just seems to get spiraled out of control . And before it , lord , I've let you down , I've done something wrong , I've done an action , I've said something . Lord , I'm so sorry where I've failed you , lord , but , spirit of the living God , I thank you for the cross of Calvary , I thank you for the power of salvation . I thank you , lord , that we are forgiven . We are forgiven and today , lord , can you help us heal . Can you help us to heal , lord , and forgive , lord , those that have trespassed against us , lord , and as we have done , and we may have been engaged in certain things , in historical events , lord , even now , can you help us , lord , can you get us to stand strong , lord , so we confess our sin ?
Speaker 0I'm sorry that I foul you , lord , I'm sorry that I let you down , lord , lord , I'm conscious of that , lord , and I know , lord , that I'm a sinner saved by grace . But today , lord , will you wash us in the crimson tide ? The blood of Jesus as we stand on , lord , the wave of a new hour , as we stand , lord , on the shoreline of life , lord hour as we stand , lord , on the shoreline of life , lord , as we look across the ocean of life today , lord , I thank you for the cross , I thank you that , my brothers and sisters , that we are forgiven and help us to take hold of that today . Help us to take hold of that today , where life has been so difficult and so hard and we're being hard on ourselves today , maybe , lord , and can you help us , lord , to stand strong , lord , because we are forgiven and we confess our sins .
Speaker 0Today , lord , we may be sitting in the van , we may be commuting , we may be at home sitting on the edge of the bed , lord , but , lord , wherever we are , we just say this , lord , I confess my sins to you today , lord , and I thank you , lord , that I'm free , because who the son sets free is free indeed . So , father , I thank you for the cross of Calvary and , father , I thank you that our sins are being forgiven and we are washed in the precious blood of Jesus . Come , holy Spirit , today , renew us and restore us by the blood of the Lamb and Father . We thank you for the power of the Holy Spirit , the lamb and father . We thank you for the power of the holy spirit . So , lord , we thank you for this prayer time in the name of jesus , the prayer of forgiveness and renewal .
