This is a five minute time of devotion as we gather for prayer , encouragement , peace and biblical truth into everyday life situation . Speaker 1Now , without further ado , let's get straight into prayer for these quick fired five minutes that we have together . And the prayer today is coming out of the old testament , coming from psalms 122 , verse 6 , praying for peace for jerusalem . You know we need to pray for peace for the globe , but right now we're just praying for israel and jerusalem and the title of the prayer time together is Prayer for Peace in Israel and Jerusalem . Father , in the name of Jesus , we come to you , lord , in the word of God , and we ask you , father , for peace across this world today . First , in our world , we pray for peace , but right now , lord , we press into Israel and we focus on israel at this moment in time . So give us peace in our heart about everything that's happening through the conflict of israel , the way that it's affecting the globe , the way that it's affecting life , the stress of life , the worry of life . Lord , we pray that , as we realize through the gospel of jesus christ and through the word of god , that we are living in very powerful and very rich spiritual days , and , lord , we pray for the peace of Israel all the way through Jerusalem today . And , father , we thank you for the psalmist , psalm 122 , verse 6 . We pray for peace for Jerusalem and may those who love you be secure .
Speaker 1So , father , we pray for everyone that lives in the Middle East , all the way through the areas . Father , right the way around , lord , we pray that everyone will be secure and everyone will be safe . In the name of Jesus , we pray for this conflict . We pray , lord , that the love of God will rest and come down like never before , that we will feel the love of Jesus Christ right the way through the globe and all the way through Jerusalem and Israel . And , father , we ask you that the violence will cease in Israel right now , right the way through the Palestinian area , right the way through the Middle East , right the way through the Gaza Strip . Lord , all these geographical places , all these many different places , lord , that too many to list in this prayer time .
Speaker 1But , father , we pray for the peace of Israel and Jerusalem . Lord , will you come , lord , to this earth today ? Will you move , lord , and will you remove all the violence in Israel , the surrounding area , lord , will you restore peace and restoration all the way through the Holy Land , all the way around that Middle East that block there , lord , father , we ask you , lord , that you will let the love of God just permeate through today . So , lord , we need , lord , peace in our hearts as we sit in the West , as we sit far away from Israel . But as we watch the conflict , as we hear the conflict , as we see it across media , social media , lord , across the medium itself , father , we ask you today that peace will abound in our hearts . So , lord , we pray for families that are caught up in the conflicts . We pray for those all the way around , father , god , but today we focus on Israel and Jerusalem . May your love be through Jerusalem , may your presence be all the way in and around Jerusalem . And , lord , we need peace . We need peace , lord , in this world . But we understand , lord , what the scripture says about the end times . But , father , will you strengthen us , lord , this conflict , lord , through Israel and the Palestine areas and everything right the way through the Middle East and the security of that and Jerusalem . And we pray for the protection of Jerusalemusalem and the safety out there . Lord , the violence and everything that goes along . We pray for the holy land right the way round . In the name of jesus .
Speaker 1The urgent prayer for peace over israel today . Save lives , lord , set the captives free today . Let the power of the Holy Spirit , lord , move right the way through Jerusalem . Let your glory , lord , shine through Jerusalem today . Let your presence , lord , permeate out and through the area of the Middle East . We pray for peace today , lord , we pray for it in our lives .
Speaker 1And , lord , as we watch the news and as we listen , lord , to media , radio , social networks , father , we pray that the love of God will be so strong right the way through , lord , israel and Jerusalem . In the name of Jesus and Lord , let your love be over families today and protect and heal . Heal that land , heal the nations , lord , all the way around the Middle East . Spirit of the living God . As we watch conflict out there , lord , as it affects our innermost being , lord , help us to find peace . But today , lord , we thank you for the prayer for Israel and Jerusalem and , as the word of God says through the book of Psalms 122 , verse 6 , pray for peace of Jerusalem . May those who love you be secure . Father , in the name of Jesus , bring that beautiful word of peace . We pray In Jesus' name , amen . Thank you for joining me today .
