Speaker 0Wherever you are , come on , let's get straight into prayer . Today may god bless you and carry you in the most beautiful name in heaven and earth . And today we're in the book of Psalms . We're still in the book of Psalms . We're in Psalms 23 , that beautiful book .
Speaker 0You know the prayer of David , psalm 23 . We are in verse two and the prayer is Christian prayer for rest and renewal in stressful times . You know what does your life look like at this moment in time , what is happening in your world . You know prayer for peace of mind , rest for anxiety and renewal of strength . He leads me beside quiet waters , father . You lead us beside quiet waters , lord . You restore my soul . You are the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords . Father , I thank you , lord , for your provision and your hope . And , lord , I ask you right now , lord , in the greatest name in heaven and earth , lord , that I will find rest and peace and renewal . That today , lord , I will find that place where I can rest in you , where I can find peace in you , that I can find this renewed strength . Lord , lord , as we pray through Lord , peace of mind through stressful times , lord , we need peace , lord . We pray through Lord . Peace of mind through stressful times , lord , we need peace , lord . Lord , I ask you that my soul will find rest in these weary moments , that I will be able to rest in the name of Jesus . But , lord , we ask you right now that the Spirit of the Living God , as we pray through Psalm 23 , verse 2 , he makes me lie down in green pastures , he leads me beside quiet waters , he restores my soul . Come on , jesus , lord . We thank you that you are going to lead us in green pastures . You're going to lead me beside quiet waters , father .
Speaker 0This is the day , lord , where anxious thoughts go . This is the moment , lord , where I find rest . This is the moment where I find peace . This is the moment where I get renewal , lord , where I get fired up , where I get this fresh vision , this fresh strength , lord . I thank you , lord , that as I rest , my soul finds strength in you .
Speaker 0And , lord , as I come to you right now , lord , I'm anxious , right in the middle of anxiety . Lord , I need calm . Lord , as you lead me into green pastures , as you lead me into new beginnings , lord , I need peace . I need rest for my heart , my mind , my body , my soul .
Speaker 0Lord , it can be scary , father , it can be weary . Lord , it can be exhausting . Lord , father , I pray for peace when I cannot sleep at night , when I can't rest , lord , when I feel agitated , when I feel fearful , when I'm waking up in the mornings , in night tremors , night sweats . Father , lord , I pray for freedom . In the name of Jesus . Lord , will you help us ? Lord , refresh us so that we don't hit burnout . Lord , we will not hit burnout because our God is going to lead us . You're going to bring us , lord , you're going to draw us .
Speaker 0He makes me lie down at green pastures , he leads me beside quiet waters . Lord , you're going to get me to rest , you're going to get me to be still . You're going to get me to rest . You're going to get me to be still . You're going to get me , lord , and you're going to draw me to that quiet space . You're going to draw me , lord , even when there's chaotic things happening in the world , in my life , in the workspace , family and friends , ministry and church . Even when it's chaotic , lord , even when I feel like I'm going to hit the wall of burnout , lord , you're going to lead me because you're my shepherd . You're going to lead me and , lord , I'm going to lie down . I'm going to lay down because you're leading me .
Speaker 0Lord , he makes me lie down in green pastures . Lord , I'm going to lay on that green grass and I'm going to rest , lord , god , on that new territory . Lord , I'm going to find peace because you lead me beside quiet waters . And , lord , I need to hear the tranquil sound of stillness . Lord , I need to hear the sound of nothing . Lord , my ears are aching . Lord , our heads are full of the noise and the clutter of life .
Speaker 0Father , will you take me to a place of quietness ? Will you take me to a place of peace ? Will you take me to a place of your presence ? Because you take me to a place of your presence , because that's what the word says , lord , that he makes me lie down in green pastures . He leads me beside quiet waters , lord . I pray , lord , for renewal of joy and inner calm , that I will find calmness in my innermost being and as we walk with you . Lord , I pray for those that need refreshment , lord , that need healing , that need a miracle in the chaotic way of life . I pray that the fire of God and the love of Jesus will just descend on so many people today . Lord , we pray for peace of mind . Lord , we need peace of mind . Holy Spirit , come , father , in your full stretch , your full glory . Rest , lord . I pray that you will bring us rest and stability .
