Speaker 1So let's turn to the Word of God . We are living in a very , very powerful time . We are living in powerful time . We are watching across the social media . We are watching across the world Nation rise against nation , political party rise against political party . We are watching color rise against color . We are watching human beings rise against human beings . We are watching culture rising against culture , and this is exactly what is going to happen in the end days . We are watching certain things across the political platform and there is a drive out there to make a stand of what colour you are , why you speak , the way you dress .
Speaker 1We've got to be extremely careful . I'm telling you now , straight out of the barrel of truth no political party is worried about you . Political party is worried about you . Fact they don't know your name , they don't know who you are , but let me tell you about someone that knows who you are . Don't get caught .
Speaker 1The next few years in this nation are going to be highly driven by colour , by a flag and by certain conversations . We have got to extract ourselves and remove ourselves from every political drive under the sun and we have got to make a stand as Christians not as churchgoers , but as Bible-believing believers that stand on the gospel of hope , that stand on the word . Because , let me tell you this loud and clear doesn't matter how big the politicians and the journalism gets , it doesn't know your name , it doesn't care about who you really are . It's not worried that you're struggling to pay the bills , because it doesn't see you on the other side of the camera . You're just another heart or another thumbs up or another person . You're just a numeric . So the political drive is high and strong , but it is run by the devil . The devil uses politics . Why does the devil use politics ? In order to socialize . Why does it use that ? Because it simply takes our focus away from jesus . Because when focus is on color and on a flag , on a certain way that I dress , I am more worried about that . And there , that's where we got more battles on the streets . See , it doesn't matter what party is in number 10 , it's irrelevant . It doesn't matter what's going across the social media , it's who you really follow . Don't worry about making a stand for what's happening across the towns and the streets across the world , for a man or a woman or a political party . It's make a stand for Jesus . See , the church has put its head in the sand . The church has disappeared off the face of the earth . We're seeing glimmers of a few things happening , but it's gone again . It's gone again . It's under the rug , it's disappeared . It's gone again . There's a bit of noise , there's a bit of noise , a bit of worship , a bit of noise thundering across the socials , but it's gone again , seriously , it's gone again . It really seriously . It's really time and I've been saying this for so long now it's really time to drop every political party you stand with . Does that politician or that journalist or that person , do they know you ? Do they really care about you when you follow them , listen to them , watch them and do that ? Do they really know you ? They don't know you . But let me tell you about someone that knows you .
Speaker 1Let's turn to the scriptures . Let's turn to the . I was going to go to Matthew , but I'm picking this up . This text is bigger in the book of Mark . If you've got a Bible , grab yourself a Bible . Turn to Mark , chapter 5 , mark chapter 5 , verse 21, . Mark 5 21 and go all the way . We're gonna . Well , we might go down to the end .
Speaker 1It's a long read . I'll read it straight and as quick as I possibly can you know ? It's not a political stand , it's not the union jack you need . It's not the israel flag , it's not a prayer show you need . It's the word of god . It is a word of god . This is what we should be doing . We should be walking the streets as the body of Christ , with a bible in our hands , not with a certain flag that identifies me to a certain regime , culture , nation , land . I've got to walk the streets holding the word of God up . I've got to walk the streets with the word in my hand and telling the world that Jesus Christ is the savior of the world . But we're too worried about what's happening . What's gonna what's gonna happen . The political divide is getting stronger the next few years . We're gonna watch skirmishes , we're gonna watch this , we're gonna watch that .
Speaker 1Social media is the entertainment place to be at the moment to watch everything rising , everything happening . Why that ? Because the church has failed . Social media is the place to go to the churches . We're emptying in the churches . A few churches might be growing , but the reason that they're growing is simply because they're following the platform of what the world is offering .
Speaker 1Because when you're offering the gospel of gospel of hope , it talks about sin . It talks about redemption . It talks about hell . When was the last time we heard a message on hell ? The temperature of hell ? You know Sodom and Gomorrah . If you follow that way , you're going to die , you're going to burn forever . It's strong , strong messages . The Bible is strong messages . The lake of sulfur . You know we've got to follow jesus and it'll be the hardest journey you've ever followed . Because you know what ? When you follow jesus , you'll find that there's no crowd with you .
Speaker 1The weekends are flowing at the moment've got political stuff happening across the streets , week in , week out , day after day . This happening , that happening , crowds of people . Let me tell you don't get caught in the crowd , even in church . Don't get caught in a crowd . You've got to be the individual . You've got to stand out as an individual , because the crowd is just numerics . There's no power in the crowd . There's no power in the crowd because it's like Pyramid selling it . It's the one that creates the crowd and wants the crowd and is whipping up the crowd . They're the ones at the top of the Christmas tree , because it's a pyramid . It's all about self . What you got to do is you got to leave the crowd and get right with Jesus . You might even have to hibernate . You might even have to hibernate . You might even have to duck yourself away and close all doors to what is happening , because he's coming . The second coming of Jesus is just at the door .
Speaker 1Let's read , let's get straight in . So we're in the gospel . We're in the gospel of Mark , chapter 4 . We're going to pick it up . Let's pick it up in verse 21 . Sorry , pick it up . Let's pick it up in verse 21 . 21 . Sorry , mark , chap , sorry , let me start again . Mark chapter 5 , verse 21 . And it says then jesus , uh , came across from the other side of the boat of the lake .
Speaker 1A large crowd gathered around him . Make make note of what this crowd is doing . The large crowd gathered around him while he was , uh , by the lake and it , one of the synagogue rulers named Jairus , came there . Seeing Jesus , he fell at his feet . He pleaded with him earnestly . He said my little daughter is dying . Please come and put hands on her so that she will be healed and that she will live . So Jesus went with him . A large crowd followed him and pressed around him . Say that to your spirit right now . A large crowd followed him and pressed around him . Say that to your spirit right now . A large crowd followed him and pressed around him .
Speaker 1The woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for 12 years . She had been suffering a great deal under the hand and under the care of many doctors . Under many
doctors spent everything she had . We've spent everything . Let me tell you this . We're spent out . This is where we are . She spent everything she had , yet , instead of getting better , she got worse . This is where we are as a nation . We've spent everything and we're getting worse . She got worse and she said .
Speaker 1When she heard about jesus , she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak , because she thought if I can just touch the edge of his cloak , I will be healed . Immediately . The bleeding stopped and she felt in her body and she was freed from her suffering At once . At once , jesus realized that power had gone from him . He turned around in the crowd and asked who touched my clothes ? You see the people crowding against you , his disciples said . And yet you asked who touched me ? But Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it . When the woman , knowing what had happened to her , came up and fell again at his feet , trembling and fearful , told him the whole truth . He said , daughter , your faith has healed you . Go in peace and be free from your suffering . While Jesus was still speaking this is interesting While Jesus was still speaking , some men come out of the house of Jairus , the synagogue ruler .
Speaker 1Your daughter is dead . They said why bother the teacher anymore ? Ignoring what they said , jesus told them , told the synagogue ruler don't be afraid , just believe . He did not let anyone follow him except Peter , james and John and the brother of James . When they came to the house of the synagogue ruler , jesus saw the commotion and people crying and wailing Loud . It says crying loud and wailing and wailing loud . It says crying while loud and wailing . He went in and he said to them why all this commotion , why this wailing ? This child is not dead but asleep . But they laughed at him . After he put them out , he took the child's father and mother and the disciples whom he went with him and he went into the child who he was , and this is what he said in verse 41 he took her by the hand and he said to her which means , little girl , be healed , get up . He said get up immediately . The little girl got up . She stood up and walked around . She was 12 years old . At this , they were completely astonished . He gave strict orders to everyone not to talk about this and told them to give her something to eat . May god bless his word .
Speaker 1Where do we start ? In a text like that , you have two ends of the scale . You have a lady that was ostracized , that was put out , put outside of the city . You have Jairus , a man of stature , a man of authority . You have two different characters . And when we started reading this , it's very , very clear to see .
Speaker 1When we started reading this and look at this , what we find is that the crowd was around Jesus . So just because there is a crowd , just because there is a vast number of people , doesn't mean to say that they're touching Jesus in the correct way . Because when you look at this story , it doesn't matter how many people you get in a venue , it doesn't matter how many people are singing , shouting , hollering , it doesn't matter how many people are making a noise , because the noise is not on the outside . The rhythm is from within . See , it can look like we're praising Jesus . It can look like the church is filled up . It's not the crowd , it's the individual Jesus wants to have a conversation with . So I need to urge every one of us .
Speaker 1The crowd is very strong at the moment the crowd of social media , the crowd of religion , the crowd of celebrity church , the crowd of religion , the crowd of celebrity church , the crowd of the political drive . We have to extract ourselves from the crowd . You find the crowd in the world . You'll find the crowd in church . You've got to get out of the crowd because there was a crowd around Jesus . There was a big crowd around Jesus and that crowd didn't influence Jesus .
Speaker 1Jesus ain't worried about the mega churches . He's not worried about the noise that is happening across social media . It is not numerics . God doesn't go by numerics . He doesn't go to the largest church and go yeah , this denomination has more people following . They are , they want me more . It's the actual opposite . It's the opposite .
Speaker 1But we have been given this smoke and mirrors . We have been because the devil switches things around . The devil switches things around if the church is empty . Jesus ain't in the house . So I've got to go to church . That's making a noise . I've got to go to the biggest place on earth where it is so noisy and there is a crowd .
Speaker 1And when you get a crowd around Jesus , you forget who Jesus is . Because when you get in a crowd , let me tell you what happens . When you get in a crowd , you can get into a mantra , you can get into a place of euphoria , and just because you're worshipping , it doesn't mean to say it's worshipping Jesus Christ , because true worship comes from within . Worship is emotion . A worship is emotion .
Speaker 1If I've had a bad day , a bad year , a bad life , when I get into a presence of a crowd and suddenly the music and the noise of life starts moving , I find myself adapting myself to what the crowd is doing . And so often I don't know what the crowd is doing because I'm very robotically led . And I'm not just led robotically , we are . We are in such a way that we can't think for ourselves anymore . If the crowd is doing it , I'm gonna do that . If the crowd is gonna put his head in the oven , I'll go and put my head in the oven . Tiktok has said it , it's got to be right . I'm going to go and do that . If the crowd is going to go over that way , I'll go that way . If the wind is blowing that way , I'll go that way .
Speaker 1See , let me tell you , it's not the crowd that Jesus is interested in . Was there a crowd around the Passover table ? How many people were at the Passover table ? How many people were at the Passover table ? And that was the day that something happened in the world . When you look at the crowd at the cross of Calvary , what was the crowd doing ? Give us Barabbas . See , the crowd is not always shouting for Jesus . It might look like it's interested for Jesus . It might say that it wants to worship Jesus .
Speaker 1You've got to be careful when you get in the crowd of worship , because worship is critical . Worship takes you two ways . It takes you either to the cross or it takes you to the human that is getting you to worship . There should be no human being at the end of the worship . It should be the cross . There shouldn't be any type of . It should be the cross , because true worship takes you to the cross . And when you get to the cross , there's no one else there but you and Jesus . So the crowd .
Speaker 1In this text . This is why the gospel writer writes about the crowd , and let's just have a quick look at that moment . It says when jesus crossed again , uh , with the boat he got to the other side of the lake . A large crowd gathered around him while he
was by the lake . And there was one from the synagogue named gyrus . And it goes on and it tells us , and gyrus says straight away my little daughter she's not well , she , she's going to die , will you help ? See , the crowd was making a noise . And as you go further on in verse 24 , and it says so , jesus went to him . The large crowd followed him and pressed around him .
Speaker 1See , there's always a crowd around Jesus . There's always a crowd of religion , there's always a crowd of noise . There's always a crowd of celebrity Christians dressed a certain way certain belts , certain shoes , certain attire , white gloves , white suits . How can this be ? When you look on the social network I mentioned it a while ago media there's a certain color of a certain ethnicity , of a church in a certain nation , where the pastor takes off his jacket and he waves it at the crowd and they all fall over . How bizarre . But the crowd love it and what happens is is because the crowd is falling , I'm not going to be the only one standing , I'm going to fall over . So whatever pastor says , it's of jesus .
Speaker 1So you got this crowd , you got this crazy thing on social media where the pastor's at the front . He comes in and they're all around him and they're praising him up . Here comes the man of god , here he comes , and let me change it . Here comes the man of the devil and he comes in and they're ushering the devil down the front . Witchcraft is in the church , but I've got to do what the crowd is doing . So pastor takes off his jacket . If I took off my jacket and waved at you , you'd go what's he up to now , for God's sake ? But in a certain land , in a certain colour . But now what's happening ? You've got other pastors following the trend . So you've got other pastors across the world taking off their jacket , you know , taking off their attire and waving it . We're all falling over in the Holy Spirit .
Speaker 1Come on , did Jesus take off his jacket ? They're taking off their jacket , they're waving it at the crowd and the crowd is so balmy , so influenced by the devil , because if I don't fall over , I'm gonna be the odd one out if I don't follow what the crowd is doing . We got many people falling over the pastor doing certain things and they're laying on the floor going . This is crazy . I've just laid myself out because pastor's weighed his jacket but bill next door went out . So if Bill went out , I'm going out . If Fred went out , george went out , joan went out , fred went out , I've got to go out . I'm going out in the name of Jesus . I'll just lay here for a while . I'll just lay here for a while . Yeah , no , come on , jesus , where are you ? Lord pastors waves his jacket . It's got to be the Holy Spirit . He's waving his jacket , jesus . Here comes the wave of the Holy Spirit . We're out in the name of Jesus .
Speaker 1And then pastors are watching it and the crowd is getting euphoria and the devil is at the front in the pulpit and the devil is waving his jacket and he says as you wave your jacket , give me 50 quid . Hallelujah , in the name of Jesus . The more he waves his jacket , the more money comes to him . And the crowd loves it . The crowd loves it . Isn't it interesting what the crowd does ?
Speaker 1You won't find an individual in a crowd , because when a crowd is together , if I come out of the crowd , they're going to look at me . If I come out of the crowd , they're going to think at me . If I come out of the crowd , they're going to think I'm the oddball . So they all fall over the whole church . Thousands of them are falling over . Maybe as he waves his jacket , it's the BO that knocks them out .
Who knows what it is . Maybe he ain't put links on that morning , maybe his mum hasn't got him dressed . But let me tell you , pastors
on the other side of the world , if you are waving your jacket , you are of the devil . You won't find scripture reference , and then you've got pastors dancing , dancing to certain tunes and they're getting in the rhythm .
Speaker 1I've told you this a hundred times . I have experienced what it's like to be in a mantra , when people start singing a certain way . I was in a certain place in Gravesend at a certain time , dressed in little me , completely white , went into a certain culture with all my kit on because I had to for where I was and that was of a certain ethnicity and that was in their temple . Let me tell you this , I've said this loads of times when they started praying and chanting , I actually started to feel myself lifting off the floor to a degree , because when there is a mantra , so what's the difference between a mantra and worship ? Something very simple A mantra is of the devil .
Speaker 1It runs along the lines of the jezebel spirit . See , there might be spirit in the crowd , but it's not the spirit of jesus . There might be a spirit in pastor's pocket , but it ain't Jesus . There might be a spirit , but the church ain't talking about the Jezebel spirit , the spirit out there that comes along and it mimics and it clones itself . Jesus says watch out , there'll be many forerunners , there'll be many people that will come in my name , but , lord , I'm going to church this weekend . It's a massive event , lord , and it's the crowd .
Speaker 1I'm telling you now , when I was in that , in that environment , and I reckon there was probably a thousand worshippers and I was right in the center , collared up , lanyard up , linked , linked up , everything up , smelling sweet , all the razzmatazz . And I'm telling you now , when they started and it's very interesting how they pray and they was in sync . They was in sync . You've got to be careful of being in sync because worship doesn't follow a pattern . Oh , they're lifting their hands up . I've got to lift my hands up .
Speaker 1They're speaking in tongues . Oh no , I can't speak in tongues . I'm of the devil . Oh no , I can't speak in tongues . What's happening to me , jesus ? You don't love me , god . What tongues are they speaking in ?
Speaker 1Witches speak in tongues , warlocks speak in tongues . What are you going on about warlocks ? I'm not talking about Harry Potter . Warlocks speak in tongues . What are you going on about warlocks ? Not talking about harry potter ? I'm talking about real life , real life stuff , black magic , white magic . They speak in tongues and it's not heavenly language . See what the church has done . It has taken the heavenly language and the gifts of the spirit and it has manipulated it .
Speaker 1And many pastors say if you don't speak in tongues , if you don't pray out , you're of the devil . If you don't speak in tongues , if you don't pray out , you're of the devil . If you don't speak in tongues . And when I lift my hands , if you don't jump left and jump right , you're not born again . If Jesus wanted us to do all that showmanship and that devil stuff , what would he have said to Nicodemus ? Nicodemus , I want you to lift your hands , I want you to speak in tongues . And when you speak in tongues , nicodemus , I speak in tongues . Nicodemus , I want you to throw your jacket everywhere . So everyone else in your culture is going to fall over . Jesus said just Nicodemus , you just got to be born again , son . And what does that mean ? Does it mean when pastor waves his jacket . I'm a Christian ? No , it doesn't . It means that when God opens up your heart and drops and opens your curtain inside your life , you're born again . See , god opens the vow .
Speaker 1See , when you look at the crowd . This is a very interesting scripture because when you study crowds , there are no individuals in a crowd . We look at a crowd and we think , my goodness , if you watch crowds in many settings , in every area , the crowd is controlled by the front . The crowd is controlled by what ? What do we call it today ? What do we call is always at the front of a crowd , a stage . What is a stage ? A stage is for a human being to act and to put on a show . A stage is designed to lift up someone . Oh , dear me , jesus , we're in trouble in the church , aren't we See ? We've got many stages , we've got many actors , we've got people looking fine and looking good , dressing the way of the world , singing and shouting and hollering and whatever , waving jackets , but where is Jesus ? So we have a crowd in the scripture .
Speaker 1We have a crowd in scripture , right here , right before our very eyes , and the lady with the issue of blood and gyrus . They wasn't worried about what the crowd was doing . See , when I listen to the crowd , I lose true worship . And as I was in that context , as I was in that position and I was in that situation , the crowd started to move me . It started to move me Even though I'm blood washed , sanctified , a child of the living God . When that crowd started their mantra and their worship to their God , it affected me . It doesn't matter how great we think we are , it doesn't matter how many years we've been born
again , it doesn't matter how many preach I have delivered , it doesn't matter how many , it's irrelevant . When I get in the crowd , my body will do what that crowd is going to do , because I don't want to be felt left out .
Speaker 1The crowd is drinking . We're going to drink . The crowd is chanting . I'm going to chant . The crowd is lifting the right hand . I'm going to lift the right hand . The crowd has been told to lift your phone , turn your light on . I'm going to do what the leader of the pack says at the front , because we have so much showmanship . And jesus is not a showman , he's a king . You know the greatest , the greatest people on earth , do you know ?
Speaker 1They are the ones that keep themselves under the radar , that are not interested in notoriety , that are not interested in the stage . They're the ones that are telling their in notoriety that are not interested in the stage . They're the ones that are telling their work colleagues , their family , their friends Jesus Christ loves you . They're not worried about what status and what's happening on the social networks . They're not worried about what way the crowd is driving . They just want to tell the world that Jesus Christ is coming back .
Speaker 1Do you know that there are so many people ? Do you realize that there are so many people that are off the radar but are really making a noise for Jesus ? Do you know that there are so many people ? Do you realize that there are so many people that are off the radar but are really making a noise for Jesus ? Do you realize that there are more people off the radar , with no glitz and glamour , making more noise than the ones that you see that are making a noise ? They're telling people about the kingdom of God . They're telling people about the gospel of Jesus Christ , and they're not on a stage . They're not on a platform . They're telling people about the gospel of Jesus Christ , and they're not on a stage . They're not on a platform . They're at work , they're at school . They're at home . They're singing . They're singing psalms . They're telling their work .
Speaker 1Colleague , let me tell you this Jesus Christ loves you the greatest . I'm going to use the word like this . This is a wrong word , but you know I say the wrong things . They're like heroes of heaven . They're sitting in transit vans , they're at a desk . They're not frightened about telling their culture that Jesus Christ loves you . They're on scaffolds , they're at desks . They're telling the world about Jesus . They're not worried about how many likes , how many this and how many of that I'm going to get .
Speaker 1I've just got to tell you right now , because Jesus Christ is coming back , those ones that are quiet , those ones that are just not bothered by the crowd , not worried about the trends , not worried about the ethnicity of what way we're going as a culture . Don't follow your culture , don't follow your colour , don't follow the flag that is over your front door , don't follow the flag that is over the nation . Follow Jesus . What is the crowd doing at this moment in time ? The crowd is marching on the streets telling us this colour is better than that colour , this way is better than that way . Everyone's got their opinion and what we have got ? We have got segregation .
Speaker 1Exactly what the government want . Exactly what the government want . But what the government don't want is a Christian to get on . The government want , but what the government don't want is a Christian to get on the street corner and to get the old who remembers the milk crates Anyone remember milk crates ? Get the old milk crate , flick it over and stand on that and tell the world about Jesus . But let me tell you this if you got yourself a milk crate , chucked it on the corner and you started telling the name of Jesus , you'll have a couple of friends standing beside you and I'm not talking about believers . Might be police , might be believers , who knows but you'll have a couple of bobbies standing next to you . You might have a couple of uh , ladies and gentlemen , whoever they are .
Speaker 1You can't say whatever nowadays , can you ? You can't even use the word postman . But I love my postman . He's a man , by the way , my postman , he's not a post person , he's a man , so I call him a postman . If the lady turns up , it's the post woman , but he's a postman .
Speaker 1And I just parked my car on a manhole and you're not allowed to say manhole anymore . It's got to be inspection chamber . He's used the word manhole from the pulpit . He's the devil . He's not using politically correct words . I've parked my car on a manhole and I don't care , because it's a manhole , because the first person that went down it was a man and if a woman wants to go down there you better get yourself a life girl , because you don't want to be down them sewers . A manhole is a manhole , but no , it's an inspection chamber and that comes . You might be saying it's a bit strong anyway , talking about it's the same in the church .
Speaker 1Don't preach the gospel . We're going to offend people . Tell them it's an inspection chamber , not the gospel of truth . Because when you go down a manhole , you go down into certain areas . When you preach the gospel , you go down a manhole , you go down into certain areas . When you preach the gospel , you go down into certain areas . But you can't preach the gospel because of the crowd . We can't lose the crowd because the crowd is worth a few quid .
Speaker 1This weekend I'm going to pay a good bit of money . I'm going to go and worship Jesus . Someone show me across the scriptures where someone paid to follow Jesus . We've got cultures . We've got things happening where we're doing certain things , where the church now is asking us to pay to come into the house or into the event , and you've got to pay a few quid as well .
Speaker 1But let me tell you about jesus . There was a crowd around jesus and the crowd didn't know who jesus was . They was making a noise . So you got gyrus . That comes out . Gyrus jumps straight out and he goes Jesus , jesus , you've got to please , you've got to heal . And then you've got the lady with the issue of blood that see the crowd . And she realized that the crowd was dangerous Because that crowd is doing what . That crowd is stopping little old me getting to Jesus .
Speaker 1So the crowd has many effects to a believer . Many people will look at the crowd and say I'm not going to go into that crowd , I won't go in and it keeps us away and it does certain things . The crowd can isolate us , and it should to a certain degree . But this lady woke up one morning and said I've had enough . I've had enough of life . I've spent everything according to the word . And this is where we are in the UK . We have spent everything .
Speaker 1If you want to see a miracle , what do you do ? You don't pay and go and follow Jesus somewhere . You pray , change the paying for praying . You pray , but then you go . Yeah , but , ben , I've been praying for years , okay . So if you hadn't have been praying , where would you have been ? The Bible says 24 hours a day , seven days a week , my life is a posture of prayer . The Bible says pray without seeing , pray without ceasing sorry , praying without ceasing .
Speaker 1I used to think to myself God , I can't do that . That , lord , I can't commit to that because I can't be in a church all day . And then the light bulb went on . I thought , hang on , a minute , I ain't got to be in church , I can be out , I can be anywhere in the world because prayer comes within . I don't need pastor to wave his jacket and I go out in the holy spirit . I don't need to wait for another jacket and I go out in the Holy Spirit . I don't need to wait for another event to pay good money that I ain't really got and get there and think , okay , they're charging me 80 quid for an hamburger , it's cost me a few quid to get here today . Pastor's going to wave his jacket in a moment . If I don't go out , I'm going to be the oddball . So when pastor waves his jacket , come on , come on , he's waving his jacket . I'm going to fall over .
Speaker 1Isn't it interesting when you watch a lot of social media stuff ? The leaders have to lay hands on the person . I wonder why they got to lay hands and push them . I wonder if that's got something to do that jesus isn't in the mix . On that one , the other day someone sent me saying and I watched it when they baptized someone , as if they was dipping a sheep . It was unbelievable . Forcing them in this , forcing them in that when they come for prayer , they're , they're put .
Speaker 1Look at , look at the certain evangelist , the certain American evangelist . He believed in all that sort of stuff . He believed that God was telling him to punch people . We all know who that was . I think his name sounded a bit like Toby Carvery , but I think it was Todd . When you look at those things back even to a certain character , to a certain character that wear the white suit , but he's supposed to apologize Pushing people over Pastors , let me tell you this the Jesus that I follow doesn't need a hand from a human . He doesn't need a push , he doesn't need a shove . I'm just going to help you , jesus . I'm just going to wave my coat , god . I'm just going to help you , jesus . I'm just going to wave my coat , god , I'm just going to wave my coat and this entire congregation is going to go out . Pastors waved his jacket . They've gone out Bang oh God's in the house .
Speaker 1I think what we got seriously is witchcraft . We've got witchcraft in crowds , we've got black magic and white magic and we can't react to what the crowd is doing . As I said , the strongest , the strongest person in the crowd is the one that recognizes the crowd , and there are many in the crowd that recognize the crowd of culture , the crowd of church , the crowd of the world , the crowd . There are the . The strongest ones are the ones that go hang on a minute . I can't live like this . This is a minute . I can't live like this . This is not right . I can't be like this . This is taking me the wrong way . This crowd is not taking me to the destination that Jesus has for me . This crowd is doing something that I don't believe in . This crowd is the crowd was around Jesus .
Speaker 1I can't urge you enough to say to yourself to extract yourself from the crowd of life , and it's not about becoming a loner , because when you realize who you are , you're not alone , when you realize who and I'm not talking about self-worth , because we've got to be careful there , because there's a lot of preaching , motivational teaching and all that sort of stuff that comes from certain secularized teachings that are out there it's not about being filled up with self-worth , it's about being filled up with the Holy Spirit . So when we look at these scriptures , when we're in this word and you look at this , prayer is powerful . Extract yourself from the crowd and just go and pray . God , help me , god , I need you today . Lord , I can't follow this crowd . And the crowd doesn't have to be that big . When you get over four to four to six people , suddenly the , the dominating human being , will take the role . Doesn't matter if you're a christ , doesn't matter , it's irrelevant . Don't follow that type of life . You've got to follow Jesus Christ , you have got to follow the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords .
Speaker 1So the crowd starts off tiny . Then the crowd starts reaching out to thousands and thousands and hundreds and hundreds , and all that Don't get trapped in the crowd . So this crowd here , it says a large crowd followed him and pressed against him and pressed around him .
So we can see where this is going . The crowd was trying to control Jesus because the crowd you know what it's like if you're in a crowd and you're trying to get out and you need to get out of a crowded place , you're governed by the way the crowd . You know what it's like If you're in a crowd and you're trying to get out and you need to get out of a crowded place , you're governed by the way the crowd is moving . So the crowd was right away around Jesus . The crowd was around him . The crowd was making a noise . The crowd was shouting and hollering . The crowd was . It was making so much noise .
Speaker 1But there was a lady that said to herself this is the day , this is the day where I've got to come outside my culture . I've got to come outside . Now remember the culture , lifestyle put her outside . So she was already alone . She was living in a certain colony , she was outside , she was already in a certain crowd . So she had to break line with that type of culture , that type of crowd . She had to break line with that type of culture , that type of crowd . She had to break ranks . Sometimes we've got to break rank with colour culture , church lifestyle and you've got to get yourself to Jesus because you won't find that healing amongst certain crowds . See , jesus stopped .
Speaker 1We know what the Scripture says and it says at once Jesus realised that power had gone from him . See , it isn't the crowd that has the power , it's the individual human being that has had enough . It's the individual on the outside of the crowd that says I've got to get through that crowd and I've got to touch the hem of his garment . I've got to touch that hem because , if I can just get to Jesus , see , there are crowds , crowds and we call it herding as well . It's called herding . We are herded in a certain way . The way we shop . When you look at online shopping , it's great , it's powerful . It can free us up so we are able to do other Jesus things . But normally it frees us up to sit on social media a bit longer . So I'll shop online while I'm watching a flick through , see what's going on . So we are herded . We are herded through social media .
Speaker 1The biggest way that we are herded as humanity is through social media . Running right close to that is religion . Running close to that is colour . Running along with that is culture . Running along with that is age . Running along with that is whether I'm in work , whether I'm out work . There is such a drive and also , amongst all of it that runs all the way through is you've got a political , political herding , so we're herded and it's just like uh , and we're like a shepherd is trying to herd the sheep .
Speaker 1That's what happens to us as human beings . We actually our attention span has dropped . Our attention span has just people are going . Now we should finish , I've got to get got to get me uh , nando's in . We should end . I had enough of me , I've got to get home . We can't concentrate like we used to be out of concentrate . We can't focus like we used to be out of focus . So what happens is is when our focus and our concentration has gone , we suddenly are , are dictated to by the crowd . So what happens is through government , through control , manipulation and control through witchcraft . It's like hypnosis . When you look at this , you get this in church hypnosis , occults use hypnosis Pastors from certain eras and from certain cultures , and it doesn't matter about the culture . Once you start using witchcraft , what does it do ? It manipulates the person in the chair . Witchcraft is manipulation and divination Magic .
Speaker 1When you look at church , you have to analyze what's going on in church at this moment in time ? Where's the gospel of Jesus Christ ? There's a lot of noise about worship , but what type of worship is it ? What type of worship is it ? Worship is key . You know , there was over 850 worshippers worshipping at the base of Mount Carmel and they was worshipping a foreign god . And when you look at the type of worship Carmel and they was worshipping a foreign god and when you look at the type of worship that they was in , they was chanting and they was in a mantra Chanting and a mantra turns into worship and it turns into music . There is someone , and his name is Lucifer , the greatest musician hell has ever seen , probably the greatest musician the world has ever seen . He was in charge . He was about worship . Suddenly , the worship had to be about him . So the worship in heaven was stopped , in a way , because he wanted to be worshiped .
Speaker 1Worship what do we see in many areas of church and music ? The man , the woman , is the one , the name that we are chanting , they're the one , the name that we are lifting up more higher than the name of Jesus . We've got to be so careful . Worship is powerful , but worship starts within . Worship starts with prayer . Father , in the name of Jesus , I come to you right now and I pray for the fire of God and the power of the Holy Spirit . Lord , I pray for your glory , your mercy , lord , I pray , lord , lord , as I pray through Psalm 23, . The Lord is my shepherd . I shall not want he makes me lie down in green pastures . That's worship , because you're worshipping to Jesus , you're worshipping to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords , you're worshipping to the Saviour .
Speaker 1It's not about the crowd , it's not about the noise , it's about from what's within . And this lady says we're coming to the table in just a few minutes . And the lady said I've got to get to Jesus . I've got to be separated . I've got to get to Jesus . I've got to separate myself from the cultural crowd . I've got to separate myself from the worship crowd . I've got to separate myself from the crowd of life because I've spent everything . Listen , the crowd will get you to spend everything . You got , everything you got . Jesus says just follow me and just believe .
Speaker 1There is power in the word prayer and word prayer and word prayer and word Prayer . And word brings what it brings worship , prayer and word brings worship , because when you're in prayer , you're in the word , you're in a place of worship . You know , yes , worship can get me to that place , but the majority of worship will take me to a place where I'm just getting the feel-good factor , a bit of euphoria , a bit of adrenaline in the bones , a bit of it feels good . It feels good , it feels good . But true worship , it starts with prayer . True worship starts with crying . True worship says Jesus , help me , god , will you help me ? I need you , god , lord , will you help me ? True worship starts from within . It's got nothing to do with the size of the crowd . It's got nothing to do with the church . Do with the size of the crowd . It's got nothing to do with a church . Because this lady said if I can get to Jesus , I'm going to be all right . If I can get to Jesus , I'm going to be all right . Tell yourself as we come to the table if I get myself to Jesus , I'm going to be all right . I've got to get to Jesus , he will heal me , he will set me free .
Speaker 1And then you look over the page and you read about the crowd . You read about a crowd that come outside of Jairus' house and that crowd that was there . Do you know ? People cry just to make it look good ? Do you know you can get professional mourners ? Do you know that when you look at this crowd , that we're looking at the crowd is is great ? Just because the crowd is crying , don't mean to say that they're crying for that razor . See , the crowd came out of Jairus's life . They came out and they said why are you bothering the teacher ? What are you bothering him for ? She's dead . That's what the crowd will tell you . The secular crowd , what you're bothering with Jesus for don't exist .
Speaker 1The crowd of humanity , the crowd of social media , the crowd of politics at the moment , the crowd of the political agenda across the streets of this nation is showing that we're putting more power and more authority and we're putting more alliance to human beings than to Jesus . Because the crowd is telling us in the political arena see , jesus can't exist in the political crowd , because the political crowd will always end up to one person at the top . There's only one leader in my life and his name is Jesus . There's only one king in my life and his name is Jesus . There's only one king in my life and he's the king of the Jews . There's only one saviour in my life and his name is Jehovah Jireh , I don't need anyone to wave . Don't wave your coat at me . I ain't going to fall over .
Speaker 1In the name of Jesus , don't dance a certain way . I'm not going to follow the dance . Don't lift your hands a certain way , because the crowd down the road are doing it . We've got to follow Jesus and , as we come to the table , extract yourself from the crowds , extract yourself from the herding mentality that we have been given . Extract yourself from that and get yourself in the Word and worship through prayer . Start praying like you've never prayed before . Start speaking the word of God . Forget , don't worry about speaking in tongues . Just speak in normal language first . Jesus , I love you , jesus , I worship you . Jesus , you are the saviour of the world . Jesus , you are the great . I am Jesus , I need you . Jesus , I worship you . Jesus , you are the saviour of the world . Jesus , you are the great . I am Jesus , I need you . You are the living bread . You are the river of life . Jesus , when you just start saying the name of Jesus , it's very interesting .
Speaker 1When you look at Jesus , where does he speak about ? Speaking in tongues ? Did the thief on the cross we're coming to the table ? Did the thief on the cross speak in a heavenly language . No , when you look at the cross and the thief and the murderer was on the cross . They didn't go to anything that was christian . They didn't sing a certain song , anything that was Christian , they didn't sing a certain song . We said it a thousand times they didn't even read the Bible , because the Bible wasn't completed . Yes , we had the Torah , we had the Old Testament and he was hanging next to the New Testament on the cross . It hadn't even been written . He didn't even read Matthew , mark , luke and John . He didn't get a track . He didn't get a prayer group laying around him . He didn't get five weeks of discipleship .
Speaker 1I always worry about them , discipleship courses . What happens if I was to die before I got the end of week five ? Where do I go ? You got to get to week five , ben . If you don't get to week five , you ain't going to be born again . Get to week five and at the end of this course we're going to have , at the end of the 12 weeks , we'll have the Holy Spirit week . I need the Holy Spirit now , mate . I can't live another 12 weeks living like this If I've got to wait for another dinner time to sit around and then you're going to tell me and release the Holy Spirit over me .
Speaker 1I don't think it's the Holy Spirit . I need the Holy Spirit now . I need Jesus now . I can't wait for another men's night out down the road . I can't wait for another a lady's event . I can't wait for this event . I need Jesus now . I can't wait till the chicken corn comes out and then I'm going to get Jesus . Because when the chicken corn comes out with rice and I've eaten too much naan , oh Lord , I'm going to get indigestion . I ain't got Jesus , I've got indigestion . I can't wait for that . I need Jesus now .
Speaker 1What happens , god ? Will I get to week 12 ? If I don't get to week 12 , where am I going ? Well , you didn't do the Alpha Call , son , so you're not getting into heaven . God , help me in the name of Jesus . I want the Holy Spirit now . I want the Father now . I want the Word now . I want salvation now . I want healing
now , god . I don't want to wait for the prayer team . I want it now , in my front room . I want it now as I'm driving to work . I want healing now , god . I want your Holy Spirit now .
Speaker 1I'm ringing up pastor Pastor's busy . It's Monday . He's going to be playing golf tomorrow . I'll pray for you on Tuesday when I come back . I need prayer now . I need prayer now . Someone pray for me , please . Oh Jesus , help me . Lord . Have I lost the plot , or is this really happening ? Lord , let's come to the table . Let's come to the table . Let's come to the table .
Speaker 1Don't wait for the end of the 12-week course . Tell them you want the Holy Spirit now . I'm not waiting for the chicken korma to come out . I want Jesus now . I'm not going to wait for that event down the road . I need Jesus now . I ain't going to get on a coach and go four hours done . I don't want to get on the coach . I want him now in the front room . Someone help me .
Speaker 1I can't wait till september . I can't wait till christmas at the nativity play . I can't wait till easter , when the hot cross buns come out . I need jesus now . Is there anyone brave enough online in the house just so ? I need him now . Should we pray that we get him now ? Because what happened to the thief on the cross ? Jesus went . I'll tell you what go to Holy Trinity , brompton . Go and do the 12-week course . Actually , no , go to the other church because they've got a quicker course . It's only six weeks down the road Actually . No , go that because they've taken that course and they've made two courses and actually that church has taken that manual and made another manual and actually put their own name over the manual . So they've actually nicked his teachings and nicked his , and actually the teachings now is so weak . It's the teachings of no one .
Speaker 1Why can someone please send me an email or text ? Why don't we never teach out of this ? Why are we always waiting for the latest pastor's book to come out ? Why are we always waiting for the next piece of literature to come out across the pond ? It , it is the word . It is the word of god , it is the power of the word of god .
Speaker 1Don't wait for the chicken korma to come out at the men's group . Don't wait for the ladies day out to get filled in the Holy Spirit . Don't wait for the next youth camp to get filled in the Holy Spirit . Don't wait for the next Christian event . Say to God now I want you . Now , god , I ain't going to do another course , lord , because , because it's gone through 12 different organisations and by the time it's got to me it's so watered down .
Speaker 1I'm sitting there thinking what's on Netflix tonight when I get home ? Jesus , please , god , let's come to the table . Father , in the name of Jesus , we're at the table . Brothers and sisters , do you remember Jesus saying did he say this ? You can't take the bread outside of the church , you've got to wait . He didn't . He said as often as you gather together , do this in my name . As often as you gather together in my name , do this in my name .
Speaker 1Wherever you are , wherever you are across the world , wherever you are across the world , wherever you are across the world , you can be sitting on the edge of your bed . You can be sitting on your patio chair , sitting on the curb of life . You can be sitting in your vehicle . You can be wherever you want , laying in a bath . The only thing is your bread's going to get a bit soggy laying in a bath . The only thing is your bread's going to get a bit soggy . Wherever you are , jesus Christ is . He is omnipresent . He is omnipotent .

Lord . My heart ain't going to wait for that preacher to get to church because , lord , my heart , lord , I might have a heart attack . I need healing now .
Speaker 1Lord , I'm not walking right , but , lord , I need to get out of this wheelchair now . Lord , I got to think straight . Now , lord , I can't wait till I get down the end of the 12 week course to get what I'm supposed to get . And when I I get it , I ain't got it . And then I start saying , god , where are you in the course ? In the name of Jesus , I need the Holy Spirit now . So , father , I need the Holy Spirit now like never before .
Speaker 1Lord , and I made now . So , father , as I hold this bread and I take this cup , I ask you God , and I'm telling you God , actually , now , I'm telling you I need you now . I can't wait . I'm telling you God , actually now , I'm telling you I need you now . I can't wait , I'm not going to wait , I want more of you . Fill my life with your glory , fill my heart with your presence , fill this skin in which I walk in with your love and your mercy . Lord , I need you now and you can hear Jesus going . Thank God he's got that right now , because it's about now .
Speaker 1And what did he say to the thief on the cross ? Within a twinkling of an eye ? What was he saying right now ? Right now , father , as we take this bread , as we take this cup , we thank you that this bread symbolizes your body that was broken for us , father . I thank you , lord , that your body was broken for every one of us and there was bloodshed at the cross . So cleanse me from the crown of my head to the sole of my feet and as I break bread with my brothers and sisters across the world .
Speaker 1Lord , we are not doing this because of the crowd is doing it . We are doing it . Yes , there might be many of us doing it , but we're doing it as an individual , because this is my worship to you . This is true worship . This is true worship as I break bread . Bless this bread in the name of Jesus , amen . Sisters and brothers in the house and across the world , it's important you break the bread and across the world , it's important you break the bread and you take it a cup when you want to , you can . You can watch and stay with me . That's fine . But if you do that , we're not doing it in a way of religion , because that is what religion does religion .
Speaker 1If you was to leave this church and you was to go to a certain place not too far away and you was to catch their holy communion services , if you walk down the front and you see father ted , and you said to father ted , I want , I want to take , I want to take that out here , go , are you ? name that's got power and that's the name of Jesus . There's only one place that salvation comes from , and that's from God . There's only one book that will get you into heaven . That's the word of God .
Speaker 1You know the greatest place of worship . Do you know where the greatest place of worship is ? Is on your own , with the scripture open in front of you . There's no music . You're wherever . It's just you and God . The greatest place to worship is in the stillness , with the scripture open and you're opening it .
Speaker 1Say to Psalm 23 as we come to the close and you say Lord , church is boring . I don't want to go back there . I can't be bothered , lord , it's not getting to me where I need to be . I want to worship you in freedom . I want to worship you in spirit and in truth . See , spirit and truth have to be together . You can have spirit and there's lots of spirit out there , but it's not the Holy Spirit . See , when you get spirit and truth , you get real worship . When you get spirit and no truth , you've got a mantra , you've got idol worship . But when you've got spirit and truth , you know Jesus is in the house and you can have spirit and truth sitting on your own in your house , sitting in your vehicle , sitting on the train as you commute . You can throw open the word of God wherever you are , and you can sit there and you can get Psalm 23 . You can say the Lord is my shepherd . I shall not be in one Lord .
Speaker 1I pray for these six verses , lord , and as I pray these through , I'm in true worship . I'm in true worship . I haven't got to be at the latest place , I haven't got to be anywhere . I've just got to be speaking to my Jesus . I haven't got to lift my hands . I haven't got to have tears running down my face . I haven't got to follow the crowd . I've just got to speak to the Father in heaven .
Speaker 1Let's pray , father , in the name of Jesus , we thank you for this morning . And as we close , as we , dear God , disappear into different areas of life , I pray that we won't worry about the crowd . We'll just look at the cross . And as we look at the cross today , lord , I ask you , lord , that you will feed us and you will strengthen us , because Jesus says I'll give you living water . Do you need living water today ? Do you need living water today ? Today is the day of salvation .
Speaker 1You haven't got to wait for the end of the course . You haven't got to wait for the end of the service . It's now . It's right now and it's outside of the church . Jesus is giving you peace right now . Jesus is speaking to you right now . The Holy Spirit is moving over you right now . The glory of God is with you right now because God is the over you right now . The glory of God is with you right now Because God is the God of right now . Father , thank you for this morning . Bless us as we go back to life , as we do what we do Continue to lead us in the greatest name in heaven and earth . In the name of Jesus , amen , sisters and brothers .
