Speaker 0Today we are living in very treacherous times . We are living in very powerful days . Wherever you live across the world , prayer is needed like never before . Now we're going to enter into some time of prayer , we're going to gather around the word of God and we're going to go to the book of revelations
. You know we're going to go to the book of revelation and , as we have a quick look at this , we're in revelations 22 , verse 20 , and it's about the coming of Jesus . Does that ever worry you about the coming of the king ? Does that ever make you feel a little bit uncertain ? You know it might do . It makes me feel like that sometimes because we're brought up in such a materialistic world . But let's break straight into prayer . Come on , let's pray that god will give us peace .
Speaker 0Wherever you are today , we welcome you for these series in prayer . You know the book of revelations , chapter 22 , verse 20 , and it says he who testifies to these things say yes , I am coming
soon . Amen , come , lord jesus , spirit of the living god . The word tells us that you are coming back . You are the coming king . You are ruler and judge and father as we live in this world and as we live and we work and we move about society , culture .
Speaker 0Father lord , we are waiting your return . Father , lord , we pray that you will prepare the bride of Christ for the second coming of Jesus . Father , we thank you . We are hopeful in Jesus's return . We believe in the word of God . We believe , lord , that you will . You get us ready , father , can we pray that prayer ? Can you get us ready for the return of Jesus ? Lord , will you strip us back ? You are the vine dresser , you are the gardener and , lord .
Speaker 0We pray , father , that you will help me to feel comfortable as I wait for you because , lord , I get agitated and , father , as I look across the world and as I see things happening on the platform of life , it's scary . Lord , I know you're coming back , lord , I know there's got to be wars , rumors of wars . Father , I understand all that sort of stuff famine , desolation . Father , but just come .
Speaker 0Holy Spirit , lord , will you bring peace to us today ? Will you encourage us in these end times , in this spiritual awakening ? Father , as we are in end days , as we are in this time , as we're waiting for Jesus Christ to return , father , we thank you that he is coming back . The same way , we thank you that , as he ascended , he will descend . So , spirit of the living God , but as we walk on this earth , will you give us strength , will you give us hope , lord , as we await your return ? Father , as the valley gets stronger , lord , as the valley of the shadow of death gets darker and it seems to be getting bleaker , lord , I pray , lord , as this world tries to portray that Jesus Christ isn't real , lord , as we prepare , as you prepare , the body of Christ for the second coming , lord , I pray right now that there'll be revival before
Jesus returns , that there will be a wake up , lord , that we'll be watchful .
Speaker 0And for the preparation of the return of Christ , lord , we see that there is a strip back in church . We see that there is a great falling away from the church . But , lord , through the great falling away , through the strip back , lord , I pray that you will keep us in the fire , in the fiery furnace , as you are preparing and getting the bride of Christ ready . Lord , will you give us strength to live holy as we await Jesus . Give us strength to live holy as we await Jesus . Lord , our prayer for joy in hope of Christ's return . We pray for comfort in waiting for Jesus Christ . Lord , will you keep us as we persevere until the coming of the Lord . Jesus Christ , lord , we want to be ready for the second coming of Christ . You tell us through the word you know two will be in the field , one will be taken .
Speaker 0Father , that is quite scary that , all of a sudden , that you are going to return and almost time will stop . So we pray for one another today , we pray for each other that you will keep us strong as we are waiting the return of Jesus Christ . Father , we thank you that the Holy Spirit is with us . But today , lord , will you take the tiredness and the weariness of life ? Father , we are just waiting the return of the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords . As you ascend , father , we thank you that you will ascend to this earth and , father , we thank you that you're coming back as ruler and judge . You're coming back as king , you're coming back as sovereign , you are coming back as savior of the world .
Speaker 0So , father , as we gather for prayer as we commute across life , lord , we pray for such an outpouring of your spirit that your goodness and your mercy will abound in our lives , that we will feel your presence wherever we go across this world . But , lord , we ask you that you will , dear God , open our hearts as you prepare us for the second coming of Jesus . Lord , prepare us , get us ready . Lord , we need to rise in our faith today . We need to rise up , lord , on wings as of eagles . We need to rise up in our faith .
