Speaker 0Now , wherever you are , let's jump straight into these quick gun prayers . You know five minutes of prayer . It goes so quick and I pray that they are blessing you , because this time , as I record this with with myself and with you on the other side , it really encourages me . Let's get straight in psal 121 , verses 1 through
to 2 . And the title is I lift up my eyes to the hills . Hallelujah , father , in the name of Jesus , as I read Psalm 121 , verses 1 through to 2 .
Speaker 0Lord , let the spirit of the living God touch our hearts today . I lift up my eyes to the mountains . Where does my help come from ? My help comes from the Lord , the maker of heaven and earth . Father , I thank you for your strength , I thank you for your guidance , I thank you for your unfailing love , I thank you for your mercy and Lord . The journey that we are all on today , lord , it's a yo-yo journey , lord . It's a journey , lord , with highs and lows and midway points . But , lord , I want to thank you , dear God , for our help . We lift up our eyes to the mountains , as the psalmist writes . We lift up our eyes to the mountains , to the heavens . We look to the heavens above now and we say where does my help come from ? And , lord , we pause a moment but we say , father , through this prayer time , my help comes from the
Lord , the maker of heaven and earth , spirit of the living God . I pray that you'll give us guidance and you'll give us strength in everyday life .
Speaker 0Whatever we are going through , I pray , father , that you will help us on the journey of life . Lord , all the corners , all the straight paths , lord , all the curbs that we trip over . Lord , all the situations that are before us . Lord , I pray for your leading as we face dangers and struggles and just general life challenges through practical areas of life . Father , I pray as the psalmist reminds us that God is our keeper . You watch over us , you keep us safe , you do not slumber or you do not sleep .
Speaker 0Lord , we pray for divine guidance , strength in hardship , peace in uncertain days and , lord , we thank you that anxiety is going and the joy of the Lord is our strength . But right now , lord , on this journey of life , will you strengthen us , protect us when we travel , when we leave the house , our to-ins and our comings and our goings , and our every area of life . Father , father , will you please carry us in the name of jesus wherever we are across the world . Protect us as we travel , bring peace in uncertain times . As we look across the platform of the world , as we see wars , rumors of wars . We are experiencing the shortage of food , food banks , food crisis , money , the political crisis that is across the world . Father , nation rising against nation . Father , will you , will you keep our eyes on Jesus ? Help us to keep our eyes on you and not look at the news but , lord , to focus on the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords .
Speaker 0Father , help us as we go through hardship . Help us , lord , and guide us and lead us in paths of righteousness . Lord , give us safety in everyday living .
Lord , just through the practicality of living . Lord , will you make a way where there seems to be no way . Lord , will you strengthen us and carry us ? In the name of Jesus , lord , will you increase our faith when we are afraid , lord , when we hit times in our lives when we're tired and we're weary , lord , and we've got too many plates spinning in our lives , when we're tired and we're weary , lord , and we've got too many plates spinning in our lives , lord , will you help us not to be afraid , but to stand strong and to be bold , lord , as the scripture says , to take courage in the word of God . So , lord , I pray for where every person is today , that they won't be afraid , but they will know that God's provision is right there before them and the hand of the Lord is over them . So , father , we thank you for Psalm 121 , verses one through to two . Lord , will you lift us as we lift our eyes to the mountains .
Speaker 0Lord , as we say , where does my help come from ? My help comes from the Lord , the maker of heaven and earth . You shall supply all my needs according to thy riches in glory . You will make a way in the desert , where it's dry . Lord , you will help us in circumstances of life where we feel alone and when we feel abandoned and we feel like an orphan and we find that there seems to be no way . Lord , you make a way .
Speaker 0Lord , you are the God of the impossible being possible , as it says in the Gospel of Luke . We serve a God that calls the things that are not as though they are . We serve a God that looks at circumstances and is not feared by what we see . Spirit of the living God , will you strengthen us in the valley ? But , lord , as the psalmist says , we lift up our eyes to the mountain . Where does our help come from ? My help comes from the lord , the maker of heaven and earth . Lord , I pray that we will just find peace today through the anxious way of living , through the humdrum of life . Spirit of the living god , refresh us in jesus name .
