This is our five minute time where we gather for prayer , where we gather for word , where we worship god for the power of the scripture . But wherever you are , be encouraged today . Without further ado , let's get straight into the prayer time that we have today . Wherever you are across the world , we want to encourage you today . We want you to encourage us today that we never give up in hope . There is always a way forward .
Speaker 1We're in the book of Lamentation , chapter three , verse 21 . And this is what it says . Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope . Spirit of the living God , we need hope today , lord , as we search , lord , through the rubbish of life , as we search through the debris of the storms that is going on in our lives . Father , as we search through Lord , we believe that there is hope , that our God is hopeful , that our God is hope , our God is love . And today we come to you , lord , we come to the cross of Calvary and we say Lord , wherever we are today , will you strengthen us , will you carry us , lord ? We ask , dear God , come Lord . We ask today , lord , that the spirit of the living God will lift us , will carry us and let there be anointing over our lives . Lord , lord , our prayer today is to restore us , to restore that hope in troubled hearts , to strengthen weary souls and to rescue those , dear God , that are not quite on the point today . But , father , we pray for peace . We pray for peace , lord , every prayer time we come , lord , every time we gather , we pray for peace in the name of Jesus Christ . Lord , we want to get out of this rut , out of this cycle of being defeated through every area of life , because we are not defeated , because we are blessed and highly favoured . So , lord , help our mind .
Speaker 1When we say defeated God , what we say is our mind gets entrenched . God and Father , we come to you today and we believe that there is power . In the name of Jesus , will you give us strength for our weary souls today ? Will you remind us that you are faithful ? Will you remind us today that there is power in your name ? Will you remind us today that all hope belongs to you , that today is the day of salvation ?
Speaker 1As we come to you , lord , as the winter , lord , changes around , as the spring changes , as the summer changes , as life changes , lord , as it moves from left to right , front to back , as the wind of life changes , as the summer changes , as life changes , lord , as it moves from left to right , front to back , as the wind of life changes , lord , father , we believe that there is a shift in our life , in the name of Jesus . We believe there is a shift from worry , lord , to blessing . We believe that there is a shift , lord , from doubt to faithfulness . We believe that there is a shift , in the name of Jesus , from being scared , lord , to being true to the word of God . So , father , we pray that , wherever we are situated across the world , we pray , father , god , as the seasons change , as the weather changes right now , lord , as the seasons change in our lives . We believe that the Father of God , the fire of God , the presence of God , the Holy Spirit , the King of Kings , the Lord of Lords , is with us and wherever we are today , lord , I pray for the cycle , dear God , the Holy Spirit , the King of Kings , the Lord of Lords is with us and wherever we are today , lord , I pray for the cycle , dear God , to be broken . I pray , dear God , for the humdrum , lord , to stop . I pray , lord , that we will feel this shift in our heart today , that we will find that we are restored in hope , spirit of the living God .
Speaker 1As we come to you , lord , we thank you that the hope is in God's promises . We thank you that there is strength in despair . We thank you that there is courage to face trials and tribulations . In the name of Jesus , lord , we have peace in troubled times . We are blessed and highly favoured , lord . We thank you that there is faith , lord , amongst us . Today , lord , that we are rising on wings as of eagles . And today , lord , we pray that the prayer for faith when being overwhelmed with life , lord , that we won't , lord , be pushed down , but we will rise up . In the name of Jesus , we pray for healing from brokenness . We pray for healing from trauma . We pray for joy as we wait for new seasons to come through the corridor of life .
Speaker 1Father , we got confidence in the Word of God . We got confident in the Scripture . Today , we are standing on the rock of all ages . We thank you as we engage in the Word of God . Father , we thank you that encouragement comes from the Scripture . Today , through daily life struggles , we will not be beaten , we will not be put down . Lord , we rise up , at work , at home , in relationships , in life , out of life , whatever life looks like .
Speaker 1Father , we rise today and we trust in God's faithfulness . We trust in the word of God because your word is yes and amen , your word is power , your word is life and there is hope in the valley . There is hope , lord , because today you are the God of hope . You are always the God of hope . You always will be the God of hope , but always the God of hope . You always will be the God of hope . But , father , we thank you , lord , for that book .
