these lips of mine . In the name of jesus , we're going into the book of james . James , chapter 1 , verse 2 . Come on , let's read this together . Father , in the name of jesus , we thank you for james . One , verse two .
Speaker 1Consider it pure joy , my brothers and sisters , when you face trials of many kinds . Oh , lord , I don't know how I'm going to pray for this one , but , lord , I don't want to face trials of many kinds . Lord , I want an easy run . Lord , we want an easy walk . Lord , I don't like reading scripture like this because , lord , it tells me to expect trouble . Lord , I don't want to walk in trouble . But , lord , if I've got to walk through the valley of the shadow of death , I thank you that you are with me . So , lord , I consider it pure joy . Lord , I'm going to change my attitude and my thinking according to
the word and I'm going to consider this , this trial , this test , this season that we are in . We are going to stand on the rock of all ages and we pray , right now that the devil goes at the name of jesus , and there is joy in fear , lord , there is hope in doubt , and right now , the joy of the lord is our strength . So , lord , I consider it pure joy .
Speaker 1My brothers and sisters , when you face trials of many kinds , oh , lord . Trials of of many kinds , lord , I could cope with one , but , lord , you're telling me many kinds . Come Holy Spirit , will you give us faith ? Yes , will you give us strength ? Yes , lord , we pray for endurance in suffering . We pray that faith will arise as we're being tested , as we're being stretched . We pray , lord , for courage in challenging days . We pray for hope in Christ during difficult times . Our Father , I pray , lord , for my brothers and sisters , the church family , the ministry family on the other side of my voice . I pray , lord , that you'll give them joy in times of trouble , in all kinds of situations , that they will find strength in hardship and pain , that they will endure in suffering . And as they endure and as they go through suffering , I thank you , lord , that they feel this love of God
, that the love of God , the power of God , the Holy Spirit is greater and stronger of any trial . So , all the trials we're in , we thank you that you're walking with us as you walk with Meshach , shamrach and Abednego . We thank you that you are walking with us in the fire . We thank you that you are walking with us in the fire . We thank you that you are the way , the truth , the life .
Speaker 1Father , give us courage in the challenges of life . Give us peace in painful situations . Lord , give us wisdom to grow in trials . God , come on , lord . I need to grow in a trial . Lord , I don't want to shrink back . I don't want to be like King Saul and David's brothers , lord , when Goliath came out . Lord , I don't want to run for the hills . Lord , I want to grow in trials . I want to see the word welling up in my spirit and out of my belly shall flow rivers of living water . Give us strength in hardship , father . Help us to persevere in difficult days . Give us joy when we're being stretched and when we're being challenged through life . Father , help me to make this scripture a life application .
Speaker 1I declare James chapter one , verse two I find joy , for God is building my faith . Come on , let's say that again . I find joy , for God is building my faith . I thank you , lord , that you're the faith builder . I thank you that you are building us up . Your word is strengthening us . You are carrying us and today , lord , we pray that the spirit of the living God will touch the listeners' hearts , that they will feel the love of Jesus , the power of the Holy Spirit .
Speaker 1Lord , you are our redeemer , you are the rock of all ages , you are the God above all gods , and we are spirit filled . And today we find strength , lord , we find pure joy . Lord , today is the day for every trial that we face . We're getting stronger . Every trial that is
before us , lord , we're getting more faithful . Lord , because you're building us up , you're getting us ready . Lord , you're the coming king . You are the great I am and , lord , we are your children . We are grafted into the vine . And today , lord , with every challenge that is at the door of life . We smile because there is victory through faith , there is victory in the word of God and we are blessed and highly favored .
Speaker 1Father , I pray for the listeners today that they will feel the power of God , that they will feel they're being healed , that they will feel the power of God , that they will feel they're being healed . Lord , the trials of sickness , the trials of disease , the trial of lack of the trials that we go through , we're going to find it . Joy , lord , we are going to walk out of this situation , whatever it is . Lord , with joy on our hearts . We're walking strong and powerful .
