Thank you for joining us today on our daily Christian prayer podcast with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England. Now, without further ado, wherever you are, I need to tell you this straight off the barrel of truth. I gotta let you know that God is calling you, and you are a child of the living God. We are not a fatherless generation, we have a heavenly father, and we're turning to the gospel of Matthew chapter 6. But I gotta tell you right now that you have a Father in heaven, and you are a child of the living God. Your father hears your voice, and he's calling you right now, wherever you are across the globe, the Spirit of the Living
God is with you. And we want to get straight into this prayer. We're coming out of the gospel, we're coming out of the gospel of Matthew chapter six, verse nine, and this is what the Bible says. This then is how you should pray. Our Father, hallowed be thy name. Father, we come to you right now and we want to recognize that you are our Father. Lord, we thank you for this powerful gospel prayer. We thank you that this prayer is powerful. This prayer is walking in intimacy with the Father. This is identifying ourselves with Christ. As we pray this prayer, as we know this prayer, the Lord's prayer. Father, we thank you for the Lord's prayer. Because, Lord, it's holy dynamite. Father, we thank you that it's fatherly love. It's walking in intimacy with the God of Israel. It's walking in power, it's walking in authority. And Lord, we take the Lord's Prayer and we hold on to this prayer. We speak this prayer. We pray this prayer, Lord, we recite this prayer, we sing this prayer over our lives because this prayer, Lord,
is about, Lord, power and about authority. And we come to you today in the name of Jesus. And Father, we thank you for the gospel of Matthew, chapter 6, verse 9. I thank you, Lord, for this Lord's prayer today, this devotion, our heavenly Father. We thank you that we are not fatherless. We might have a biological father, but we got a greater father in heaven. We might be missing a biological father, but we got a greater father in heaven. The Father, Lord, our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. You are holy, you are worthy, you are majesty, Lord, you are sovereign, you are God, you are Jehovah Jirah, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Shalom. Lord, you are our rock, you are our redeemer, you are our king, you are the savior of the world. And we come to you right now across this globe. And Lord, we thank you, Lord, that our Father in heaven. And this prayer today, the intimacy of God, this Bible verse, Lord, you are our God, you are our Redeemer. Lord, I thank you, Lord, that we find our identity in Christ today. We thank you that we find our identity in the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords today. We thank you that we find, Lord, that we are free in the name of Jesus, Spirit of the living God. We pray for breakthrough. We pray for an anointing. We pray for the power and the love of God. We thank you, Lord, that you are our redeemer, that you are our King, that you are our rock. Lord, as we come to you, we need a Father today. Lord, we need a Father, Lord. We can't rely on the earthly Father. We can't rely on any human being. We come to you, Lord, and we identify, Lord, that you are our heavenly Father. And Lord, we thank you that our God is our Father. And right now, Lord, we pray through church, out church,
in church. Lord, we want to hear this whispered in houses today. We want to hear this whispered through the corridor of work. We want to hear this whispered in the area of loneliness, of brokenness, of rejection. Lord, we thank you that God is our fatherhood. Lord, you offer security, belonging, and hope right across this world for every believer. Lord, we thank you that believers across the nations want to know how to pray. Teach us how to pray the Lord's Prayer. Father, we thank you that you, dear God, look at us as your children. We are your children. We are born-again children of the living God. And we come to you right now and we need the Father today. We are hungry for the Father's love. We are lacking fatherly love. Lord, this nation, UK, we are lacking fathers. We are lacking spiritual fathers. We are lacking biological fathers. We need, dear God, you to be our father. So this day, Lord, I call on the name of Jesus. We call on the greatest name in heaven and earth. And today, Lord, we lift up a sacrifice of praise. Today, Lord, we say thank you that our Father in heaven hears our voice. And this prayer today
of intimacy with God as our Father. Lord, we thank you for Matthew chapter 6. We got confidence in the Father's love. We thank you that our God shows us and displays us fatherly love. As we stand, Lord God, on the crest of a wave of a new day. We thank you that our Father in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Father, we understand. We want to expand this prayer. We want to expand our love. We want to explore the trust in God. So, Lord, we trust in you as our heavenly Father, as the God of all gods, as the King above all kings. Lord, give us comfort, Lord, in God's fatherly care and love today. Let us feel the presence of the Holy Spirit. We need guidance from the Father's voice. We want to hear the Father's voice. We want to hear the drumbeat of heaven. We want to feel the presence of God. And Lord, I want to make this a life application at this moment. Lord, I want to tell the listeners. Lord, I want to tell the world that I got a father in heaven. I want to tell everybody across the earth I'm not fatherless. I have a father in heaven. And his name is Jehovah Jira. His name is Yahweh. He is the bread of life. He is my God. He is my rock. I am his child. We are his children. And we are born-again children of the living God. Your father has called you to a born-again relationship. Your father has called you to redemption. Your father has called you to greatness. Your father is calling you out of church. Your father is calling you out of the world. God has a plan for your life. Sister and brother, let's declare this right now before we get offline. Let's declare this through this prayer time. Come on, sister and brother. I am a child of God. Say it loud and proud. Say it in the aircraft. Say it in the shopping center. Say it at school. Say it in the truck. Say it in the car. Say it on your commute. I am a child of God. Repeat it. Shout it in the name of Jesus. I am a child of God. My Father in heaven hears my prayer. My father hears your voice. The King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. He loves you unconditionally. There is power in the name of Jesus Christ. Don't you ever give up. Don't you ever give in. Call on the name of the Father. Call on your God. Call on your King. May the Spirit of the Living God tell you today that you are a child of the Living God and nothing can separate you from the Father's love. You are grafted into the vine. You are a born again, spirit filled Christian. The name of Jesus sits in your heart. There is power, but may God bless you wherever you are today in the beautiful name of Jesus. Until tomorrow.
