We're in Psalm 23 and we're in verse 2. Lord, I thank you for this scripture now. Lord, open my heart to receive this in Jesus' name. The Bible says that He makes us lie down in green pastures, He leads us beside quiet waters. Father, I thank you that you lead us, Lord, that you lead us, Father, beside quiet waters. Father, I thank you for those quiet waters. And I pray, Lord, for the listeners that lean that need the quiet waters in their lives, that need that quiet space. I pray that you will lead them beside quiet waters. Lord, I ask you, Lord, that you will strengthen us and carry us. Because Lord, we need to lie down. Lord, we need to rest, Lord, in green pastures. Lord, we're tired, Father God, of this tough ground that we're walking on. Father, we're tired of this meadow. It is bone-dry, it is barren. Lord, there's no greenery where we are. Lord, we need color back in our lives. We need the fire of God. So, Lord, lead us and carry us, and Lord, get us to lay down and to rest in green pastures. Lord, we need to rest, Lord. We need to rest. And Father, I pray for myself, the brothers, the sisters online across the world, Father, I pray, Lord, for my brothers and sisters in the house with me. Lord, we pray right now that the presence of God, Lord, will carry us to new beginnings. Lord, I believe that all of us have got new beginnings in the name of Jesus Christ. And Lord, as we stand on the prayer of David, Lord, as we pray, Psalm 23, verse 2, we believe that there is significant change in our lives. We believe, Lord, that we're going to be resting in green pastures. We believe that the God that we serve is taking us to quiet waters. Lord, and we pray right now, we pray, Lord, for this devotional time as we record this live here in London, England. Father, as my brothers and sisters walk with us as we lock shields of hope, Father, we thank you that the word of God and David, Lord, David the Shepherd boy, David the Shepherd, David the King,
Lord, he reminds us that God will make us lie down, that God will not get us to that destination exhausted. If you are exhausted, God is giving you rest. Call out to your God right now. Are you tired of life? I pray that God will give you inner calm. God will give you inner rest. And as we pray for rest in his presence, Father, we thank you, Lord, for the psalmist. We thank you for the prayer of David. So Lord, right now in Psalm 23, verse 2, Lord, we need peace of mind. We need rest in God's presence. We need calm in anxiety. Lord, as we record this live here in London, English, Lord, we need this inner stillness for our heart. Lord, we need to come to a place where we find rest. Lord, our lives are crazy. Lord, they're full stretch. Lord, we need peace. Lord, we need rest for our innermost being. So Lord, we ask that you will give us calm in the storms of life, that you will give us peace as we use this powerful Psalm 23 for our prayer declaration across the world. Lord, we need renewal of the mind and of the spirit. Lord, as you took David for quiet waters, take each and every listener and myself to that place, that quiet space where we can rest and recover. Lord, we need to recover. And today, Lord, we give this public declaration, this life application. Lord, give us peace. Sister and brother, I pray that wherever you are, that you will say this after me in this prayer time. Lord, give us peace. Lord, lead us to calm, rest and renew in the name of Jesus. So, Father, I thank you that our God gives us rest. Our God gives us peace. The King that you walk with, the King above all kings, the glorious God that we serve. He is the great I am. He is worthy of all praise. He is Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Shalom. He is going to lead you to quiet waters. He is going to restore your soul. He is going to repair and restore all the years that the locust has taken. God is going to give you back double for your trouble. Let me tell you this again. God is going to give you double for the trouble that you've been through. God is going to take you to new pastures. God is going to take you to new beginnings. God is going to lead you to a green space, a
place that is flowing with milk and honey, a place that is refreshing, a place that is hopeful, a place where God will give you wisdom and strength. The Spirit of the Lord is over you. Do not give up and never give in. I pray that as we pray together through this powerful prayer, the prayers and the psalmists, as we gather around the world for this beautiful psalm, the psalms of David, the prayers of David. If you are in trouble, grab yourself a Bible. Go into Psalm 23, read it from one to six, and you speak that life. You tell your life, come on, God, in the name of Jesus. You speak that life over your life because the word of God is life. And I pray that you will find eternal rest, eternal peace in the arms of Jesus Christ. He is the Savior of the world. The whole world is talking about Jesus. The whole world is trying to prove that Jesus didn't exist. But let me tell you this the power of God is moving. Jesus Christ is coming back. We are being prepared for the second coming of Jesus. Wherever you are, never give up, never give in. The King is alive until tomorrow.
