Welcome and Blessing from London

SPEAKER_00

Thank you for joining me today on our daily Christian prayer podcast with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper. Wherever you are scattered across the world, we are recording this live here in London, England. And may God bless you today. I pray that you will feel the love of God, the Holy Spirit in your life. I pray that you go through the valley, you know, of torture, of turmoil, of worry, of fear. Maybe you've got so much joy in your life today. Because let's remind ourselves the joy of the Lord is our strength. So when we get into joy, how do we get into

joy? We get into the word of God. We sing the psalms. We we lift the name of Jesus. When we worship God from the Holy Scriptures, when we worship our God, you know, from the Word of God. That is the joy. So let's get in the joy of the Lord today. May the joy of the Lord be your strength. Remind yourself that God

is with you. We're going to jump into the book of Philippians 4, verses 6 and 7. This is a rising so much at this moment in time. There is so much anxiety. There is so much fear across the world. Every culture, every tribe, every tongue. It doesn't matter our age. It doesn't matter our ethnicity. It doesn't matter where we come from. Stress and worry and fear is across the world. We are living in last days, and we got to get straight into the word of God. Let's pray for calm today. Let's pray for rest today. Let's pray for freedom from fear. You know, every day, every time we get to the mics, every time we talk about prayer and do this, you know, this subject's coming up strong and powerful because this is where the enemy works. That's what we've got to tell ourselves. This is where the enemy works. He works in fear, he works in unrest, he works in uh the area of the mind, he works in all these areas, these these areas that bring fear. You know, we've got to deal with fear, and it might be a daily thing, it might be an hourly thing, it might be a all the time, but we've got to keep dealing with fear, and this is the scripture. So without further ado, let's get straight in.

7. We need peace. Do not be anxious about anything. This prayer should always be on our lips. This scripture should always be upon us wherever we go. We need to meditate on this word and let's get straight in now. And the Bible says, do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your request to God, and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds through Christ Jesus.

Prayer: Confronting Fear and Anxiety

SPEAKER_00

Father, I thank you that this scripture is always alive in our life. Lord, we combat fear, Lord. Father, we cannot jump in the arena, Lord, and put on the boxing gloves and beat this around because, Lord, it is invisible, but Lord, it is so real. Lord, it is so strong. So, Lord, we call on the greatest name in heaven and earth. Lord, we need these anxious thoughts gone. Lord, we need this anxiety dealt with. Lord, we wake up with it, we sleep with it, we walk with it, we go to work with it. Lord, we're at school with it. Lord, in the back of our mind, Lord, these thoughts of the what ifs, the buts, the maybes, Lord, our life, Father God, I pray that you'll sweep through our lives and our lives will be clean. Lord, purify our hearts. Give us pure hearts and clean hands. But Spirit of the Living God, we pray that you will guard our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus according to your word. Father, that you tell us that the peace of God transcends. Lord, your word, your peace, your love, your mercy transcends all understanding, all education, all financial gain. Lord, your love transcends your peace. Father, we need peace in our lives. Father, we need the love of God and the power of the Holy Spirit like never before in our lives. We need an outpouring of God. Lord, this is the day that the Lord has made. I shall rejoice and be glad. But Father, as we pray, Lord, for anxiety to go. This morning prayer or the evening prayer, whenever we're praying and listening to these devotions, we thank you that we are live here in London, England, and we are locking shields of hope with our sisters and brothers. Lord, I thank you that we stand together in the Word of God. And any one of us, Lord, that is carrying anxiety at this moment, Lord, we tell it to go at the name of Jesus. Lord, there is peace over anxiety. There is peace over fear. There is peace over doubt. And Father, we thank you that this Bible verse gives us relief, Lord, and it gives us a time where we can meditate through the word of God. And anxiety goes at the name of Jesus. So Father, we come to you and we surrender our worries to you. But sometimes, Lord, I don't know how to surrender. Sometimes I'm not quite sure. So Lord, take it from me. Help me, Lord. I need it to go right now. We need the anxiety to go. We need the fear to go. Lord, I'm looking at the cross in this studio.

Declaring Peace and Perseverance

SPEAKER_00

Lord, and I ask you, Father, as I focus at this cross in this studio, Lord, that you will take my anxiety and all of the listeners' anxieties away. Lord, that Father God, as we just look at the cross today, as we visualize the cross, we thank you that there's salvation in our lives. And Lord, there is nothing for us to worry about. Take the one the worry of money away. Give us calm in anxiety. Give us freedom from fear. Today, Lord, give us peace of mind. Lord, we come against the worry and the anxieties of life. Father, we thank you that we have relief from anxiety. God's peace, God's presence over our lives. And I thank you for every listener right now. I thank you for their lives. I thank you that their hearts, dear God, are Lord being dealt with by God. I thank you, Lord, that their hearts, Lord, are being renewed. I thank you, Lord, that their mind is being renewed. I thank you that they carry peace and not worry and not fear. Lord, deal with the darkest thoughts. Lord, deal with the worries in our lives. Help us, Father, wherever we are situated across the world, and we believe in the word of God. We believe in the power of the scripture. And today, Lord, I want to declare and I want the listeners to stand together, Lord, as we stand together as Bible-believing believers across the world. Lord, we want to tell the world that we are going to be anxious for nothing. We make this, Lord, a life application. We are going to be anxious for nothing. But God's peace will guard our hearts and our minds. So, Lord, we thank you that today is freedom. Today is hope. Today is the day that the Lord has made. I shall rejoice and be glad. And I pray, Lord, that you will pour out your spirit on every listener today, that they will feel the love of God. And we won't, they won't be anxious for nothing. But Lord, remind us, Lord, that we are children of the living God, that we belong to you, that we are grafted in. So now, God, right now, wherever we are on the treadmill of life, Spirit of the Living God, carry us today with your fire. Anoint us today with your love. Come, God, bless the listeners from the crown of their head to the sole of their feet. Let them feel the rhythm of God in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. So sisters and brothers, don't give up. Don't give up. Keep pressing, keep pushing in the scripture. Even when it seems so difficult and so worthless, it's not worthless. Just keep going, keep going. The devil is a liar. Keep praying. Come on. We gotta keep walking. We gotta keep walking and we gotta
