Thank you for joining us today on our daily Christian prayer podcast. My name's Reverend Ben Cooper. As we gather around the mics, as we pray together, we stand together, we walk together in the power of God. Wherever you are, may the Spirit of the living God be over your lives. I thank you for your time. I thank you for your prayers. I thank you that you take time out of the busyness of life and you click into everything that we do. You know, these six that we push out through the 24-hour cycle throughout the course of the day. And we are recording this life here in London, England. As we encourage each other as we pray for peace, restoration, and hope. You'll have to pray for me. Sometimes my voice gives out, and uh, through these prayer times, so please pray that my voice will recover in the name of Jesus Christ. Come on, let's get straight
in. We're in Psalm 23, verse 4. Psalm 23, verse 4. I love this. Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you that even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Hallelujah. Yes, God, right now, I pray for my voice. I pray for anyone that is suffering with their voice and a bad throat. I pray for those that suffer, dear God, with any ailments in their lives that, Lord, as we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we will fear no evil. We evil, we believe in the power of healing, we believe in the power of the word. And
right now, Lord, we gather in the scripture and we believe as we walk through the darkest valley, Lord, we're just on a walk through. We're just walking through. Yes, God, we're walking through in the name of Jesus. We will fear no evil because your rod and your staff, they bring comfort even in the darkest moments, even in the darkest nights, the darkest days. Lord, I thank you, Lord, as we stand, as we rest on the gospel of hope today. We believe in the ever-working word of God. We believe in Psalm 23, verse 4. Lord, I thank you that as I walk through the darkest valley, Lord, we walk through together. Lord, we're not alone because we have the fire of God, we have the presence of God, we have the Holy Spirit. And right now, Lord, give us courage in the name of Jesus. Father, we pray for courage to keep walking. Lord, your word is a lamp unto our feet, a light for our path. Father, we thank you that we are light bearers, that we carry light, that light shines within us. And now, God, I pray for such an outpouring of your spirit. Lord, I thank you for this devotional time. I thank you for this time as we gather around
the word of God. Lord, if anyone's going through the valley of grief, the valley of fear, the valley of loneliness, Father, we pray for the globe as people are praying, searching for the word of God. We thank you for the prayers of David. We thank you for the psalm of David. Lord, and as we walk through right now, Lord, we declare that you are sovereign, that you are king, even in our darkest times. Lord, we thank you that fear is broken. Your rod and your staff, they bring comfort and guidance to each and every one of us. And Lord, I pray that every listener, every ear will hear and they will feel the presence. They will feel the presence of God, that they will feel your nearness, Lord, that they're not walking alone, that the presence of God is with them. So right now, Lord, we thank you that you bring comfort in dark times. We thank you, Lord, that through this devotional five-minute time of prayer together, that the presence of God is with us as we walk through the valley. Strengthen us in the valley. Carry us, Lord, through grief, through worry. Lord, give us courage, Lord, against fear. Give us hope in suffering. Lord, we thank you that God's guidance is with us. And we declare
to the world today, to the nations, we declare to those at home in life, wherever they are, Lord, we speak this word over our lives and we declare, Lord, that we will fear no evil, for God is with us in the valley. Lord, brother and sister, wherever you are, tell the world around you that I fear no evil. I fear no evil, for God is with me. When I'm in the valley, his presence comforts me. When I'm walking through the loneliness of life, Father, I thank you that your glory, your mercy is with me. I pray for those that are lonely, those that are fearful, those that are doubtful, those, dear God, that are worried about life itself. Lord, give them strength today. Let your power rest on their shoulders. Let your anointing be wrapped around them. Father, take the loneliness, take the fear. But Lord, even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with us. Your rod, your staff, your presence, your mercy, your goodness. Lord, you are carrying us. Lord, you are the bread of life. You are the great I am. You are worthy of all praise. You are the good shepherd. We are covered in the blood of Jesus. And through this devotional time today, we believe in the power of the word of God. We believe in hope. We believe in the scripture, that the scripture has given us freedom. The scripture has given us hope. The scripture has given us life. And whatever our time zone is across the world, Father, we thank you that as we walk through that valley, that that valley, Lord, is just a time of walking. Walking by faith. We walk by faith through the valley. Lord, we will not allow the valley, Lord, to give us trouble. We will not allow the valley to overshadow the word of God. Because greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world. And right now, Lord, we believe in the mercy, we believe in favor, we believe in anointing, we believe in the love of God. And as we walk through the valley, Spirit of the Living God, carry us. Spirit of the Living God, heal us. Spirit of the Living God, as we walk through the valley, Lord, we are covered in the blood. We will fear no evil. You are with us, your rod and your staff, they comfort us. Come on, God, wherever we are across the world, whatever nation we are in, whatever and however
and whoever we are, God, we need you. Lord, I thank you that we are the whosoever, because that's what the Bible says. Whoever shall believe in me shall not perish. Tell yourself, sister and brother, we are not perishing, because the Spirit of the Lord is over you. The Spirit of the Lord is over you. And declare Psalm, declare the psalm over your life today. Speak Psalm 23, verse 4, over your life. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Oh God, come, Holy Spirit, strengthen us today, carry us wherever we are in your glorious name. May the Spirit of God, may the Spirit of God that hovered over the surface of the deep, may that spirit of God that surface over the surface of the deep, all the way back in Genesis. May that spirit, that Holy Ghost, the glory, the power, may the same spirit lead you today. Because he is. You've got the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God, wherever you are.
