Welcome and Focus on Matthew 6:13

Thank you for joining us today on our daily Christian prayer podcast with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded here live in London, England. I pray that wherever you are, as we gather around the mics, as we gather around the word of God, we will feel the fire of God, the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives, and the word of God will be as sharp as a double-edged sword. You know, it will be so sharp. We feel the sharpness of the word that the word carries us through. We're in the gospel. We're still in the gospel of Matthew, chapter 6, verse 13. On the tall end of that scripture there, this is really critical.

Naming Temptations and Daily Struggles

You know, are you tempted by the world? Yes, Lord. Do you want to dabble in what the world is doing? Lord, thank goodness no one's listening, but sometimes we do, Lord. You know, temptation. There is no temptation that is common to man. We all know. We all know what temptation is like. We're all being tempted wherever it is, however it is, whatever it looks like. The world is always calling. But Lord, I come to you right now and I pray, Lord, through the gospel of Matthew 6, verse 13, Lord, lead us not into temptation. Lead us not into temptation. Lord, we need to overcome spiritual warfare and walk in holiness. Lord, we need these prayers through this Jesus series. Right now, Lord, we need the fire of God over our lives. Lord, we need to walk in our destiny, not in our history. So, Lord, as I come to you right now, Father, I thank you that there is power in the Word of God. And Lord, as the gospel writer writes in Matthew 6, verse 13, and lead us not into temptation. Father, we need freedom in the name of Jesus. Lord, as we're here live in London, England, Lord, we want to walk in holiness, we want to walk in strength. Lord, we want to abandon, Lord God, the temptations of the world. We want to walk in victory, and we are going to walk in victory. Because Lord, we thank you, Lord, that when we are weak, then you are strong. And Father, when we find ourselves in the battlefield of life, Lord, when we're tired and our bones are aching, Lord, I pray right now that you, dear God, will carry us. Lord, when we can't walk anymore, when our fingers are tired, our backs are weary. Lord, our eyes keep closing. Lord, as we're driving now. For those that are so exhausted that they're driving back from life, back from work, wherever they are going. Lord, they're so tired. Lord, it is just like the journey of life. We are tired, Lord. Lord, we're tired of what the world is trying to do. We're tired of what the world is doing. We're tired, Father God, of being tempted, of being worn down by money, by life, by materialism, by the way of the world. We're tired of being tempted by the way the music industry is going. We're

tired of being controlled and herded. Lord, we are tired. We, Lord God, are tempted in every which way. Lord, whatever it may be. Father, will you break the temptation, Lord, from gambling, Lord God, through uh sexual sins, dear God, through dear God, drinking, through alcohol abuse, through dependency on drugs, Lord, through materialism, through spending money, credit cards, debt, Lord, whatever the world is offering there. Father, the temptation is so high in the name of Jesus. Father, help us, Lord God, in the name of Jesus, Father, we pray that we will walk in pure holiness. Lord, that we'll have a pure heart and clean hands. Father, give us determent, determent and discernment, Lord, right in the spiritual warfare path. As we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, Lord, we're gonna flee. We're gonna run away, Lord God, from sinful habits. We're gonna bring the sinful habits to the cross of Calvary. We believe that there is change. We believe that there is breakthrough. Lord, we need renewal of the mind. Lord, help us, Father, right now to stand on the word of God. We pray, Lord, that the fire of God, the word of God, the power of God, Lord, we want boldness in trials. We want to be strong in our daily walk with you. Father, help us to make this a life application. Help us to walk, Father God, not in temptation to walk in victory, to walk in the glory, to walk in the word. Father, your word is a weapon of warfare. Your word is power. And today, Lord, we declare across the world that we are free, because who the sun sets free is free indeed. Lord, will you stir us? Will you enrich our lives? Lord, will you help our minds? Lord, the battlefield of the mind, the temptation of the mind, the temptation of what the world puts before us. Lord, when we see it with our eye gate, when we hear it with our ear gate, we don't want to see it, we don't want to hear it. We don't want it to penetrate the skin that we walk in. We want freedom in the name of Jesus from all temptations of the world. We want to walk in righteousness. We want to walk in mercy and goodness. And I thank you, Lord, for the listeners today, that they are walking in freedom. I thank you, Lord, that they are walking out of the valley of temptation, that we're walking out of that valley, and we're free because who the sun sets free is free indeed. And today, Lord, we believe in the power of God. We believe in the word of God. We believe right now that the fire of God, the anointing of God, wherever we are across the world, Father, if we're commuting, whatever we may be doing, sitting at home, sitting on the edge of the bed, Lord, in the van, in the car,

wherever we are, Lord, I pray that the fire of God will come and rest on us and it will burn, that the Spirit of God will burn all temptation away. Lord, our minds, Father, cleanse our minds, our hearts, the work of our hands, Lord. I pray today for each and every one of us that we will feel your love, we will walk in freedom and in the goodness of God. And today, Lord, we thank you that this is the day that the Lord has made. We shall rejoice and be glad. Come, Holy Spirit, wherever we are across the world. Father, I thank you for the listeners today. Thank you for joining and locking shields and praying together today as we're open and we're honest and as we walk through the word of God. Never give up. May the Lord bless you and keep you. Never give up until tomorrow.
