Thank you for joining us today on our daily Christian prayer podcast with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper. We're going to turn to Psalm 91, verses 1 through to 2. I want to let you
know that God is our refuge, He's our fortress, and the prayer of protection and deliverance from the evil one. He will make a way where there is no way.
I don't know where you are, you know, I'm very open over the mic and across the pulpit and wherever we're ministering, but I want to let you know, you know, I'm going through a very unusual period and tunnel at this moment in time, you know. Uh I really need God in my life. Like I've never ever needed him so much right at these moments in time. And the biggest area I need is I need peace for my mind. Because I feel so uncertain about so many things. It's an odd thing to say, you know, but I'm just letting you know. Just because I'm in ministry and where I sit and everything, I really need God. I really need prayer. I believe God is bringing me back to the to the heartbeat of what my my ministry started out as a prayer. You know, I really believe that God has been really speaking to me for about a year or so. And what I mean by that, I'm not talking about God was talking through the sky, I'm just talking uh very easily that God spoke through the word of God, He spoke through the scripture. And I really believe as we live in end days, I believe God is shaping us and chiseling us. And if you need peace, I'm with you there, sister and brother. God is God is with us. Do you feel scared? I feel scared. It's nothing to be worried about telling the world I feel scared because we're just being real and we need to be real. The church isn't real, it's so plastic. You know, we've got to tell the world that I get scared, but above the scared, I believe God is gonna heal me, God is gonna set us free. Come on, we're gonna find some shelter today. We're gonna find that in
the word of God. Father, in the name of Jesus, we come to you, and as I read this scripture, Psalm 91, Father, I thank you that whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I shall trust. Father, I gotta trust you. Lord, we gotta trust you like never before. Lord, we gotta come to the cross of Calvary. Lord, we gotta realize that you are our refuge and my fortress. Lord, I need protection. I need your prayers, I need deliverance from the evil one. Lord, I need you to take me to the cross because sometimes, Lord, it feels like our legs don't work properly. Sometimes it feels like that we are living in a state of panic. Lord, sometimes it feels like that we're not living in the reality of what is going on. Father, it feels like, Lord, sometimes our mind is out of control. And we need you, dear God, to give us peace. And today, Lord, we declare that the devil is a liar and we stand on the word of God. And you tell us, whoever dwells in the shelter of the most high, Lord, I want to live in a shelter. I want to dwell in the most high. I want to be in your presence. Lord, I want to know that my Redeemer lives and because he lives, I can face tomorrow. Lord, I want to stand in the gospel. I want to walk in the word of God. I don't want to feel, Lord, uncertain. I don't want to get scared. Lord, I don't want these doubts to drop in. Lord, I don't want to live by fear and feelings. Lord, I want to live in freedom. Lord, I'm I'm hungry. Lord, after all these years, 31 years of ministry, Lord, I'm I want to live in freedom. I want to feel the power of God in my life. Lord, I want to feel your spirit. Lord, I want to feel freedom. I'm desperate, Lord. We are desperate to feel freedom. Lord, we feel that we're chained down with mortgages, with ministries, with life, with situations, with the pressure of being a human being. Lord, parents, Lord, whatever we owe, whoever we are, Lord, we want to be free in the name of Jesus. We want to feel the love. We want to experience the goodness of God. We want to feel the promises of God. We want to, dear God, wake up in the morning with the joy of the Lord in our heart. We want to wake up with the power of God in our spirit like never before. Lord, I don't want to wake up, Lord, with night sweats. Lord, I don't want to wake up in fear. I don't want to wake up drenched, dear God, in sweat because I'm scared of what the day's going to bring. Lord, I don't want to wake up in doubt. Lord, we want to wake up in the power. Lord, we want you to be our refuge. We're calling you tonight, today, this morning, wherever we are, we need the fire to burn through the skin that we're walking in. Lord, you've got to, Lord, lead us to this refuge, this fortress. You're our God, and we trust you right now. We walk in your word. And we believe right now as we lock shields of faith through Psalm 91, the prayer of deliverance, the prayer of refuge, the prayer of being built together, the prayer of walking together, the prayer of holiness, the prayer of hope.
Lord, I pray, Lord God, that there will be no violence around our lives. Lord, we pray for the Christians under persecution. We pray for the streets and the towns. We pray that we will just trust in God. We bring families and children before you. Lord, we pray for those that are traveling across the globe and ministries. We pray, dear God, for those that are coming under spiritual attack, those, dear God, that are going through volcanic eruptions through daily life. Those that are, dear God, living in war zones, those that feel that they're close to danger. Those, dear God, that are leading nations. Father, we pray for the prayer, prayer of protection in the name of Jesus. That today, Lord God, that you will move by your spirit, your love, your grace, your mercy. And Lord, we will declare across the airways today that the Lord is our God. And we declare aloud that the Lord is my refuge. You are my fortress. I want to tell the world today, Lord, that I'm not going to stand in fear anymore, Lord, because faith abides in us. Faith is part of our lives. Faith is rising. The Spirit of God is rising. The glory of God is rising. Lord, you are our rock. You are our refuge. You are our God and King. And we come to you right now in the name of Jesus. And Lord, we are asking right now that you will take the mind, that you will take the thoughts and you will remove them. Lord, we need them extinguished from our head. Lord, everything that takes us off point, everything that brings fear, everything that, Lord God, brings a dark thought in our head. Father, remove it. Remove it in the name of Jesus. We want freedom because you are our refuge and our fortress. And we stand on hope today in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Bless the listeners wherever they are in the name of Jesus.
